This video reviews the Lems Chelsea Boot Tough Pro, highlighting its upgrades over the previous version. The reviewer emphasizes the addition of a durable Vibram sole, the waterproof full-grain pebbled leather, and the signature Lems wide toe box and zero-drop design, making them suitable for both outdoor activities and casual wear.
Hello and I hope that you're doing well.
Today I want to talk to you about Lems Shoes latest Chelsea
boot and it is called the Chelsea Boot Tough Pro.
Now last year I picked up the previous version of
these Chelsea boots from Lems. Been very happy with them.
The pebbled leather on these boots,
the more you wear them, the better you take care of them,
the better that they look. And that goes
for most.
quality leather shoes. Now the big difference that I noticed from the
previous version of Lems Chelsea boots compared
to these is the Vibram sole.
When I was an active duty Marine,
all of our issued boots had the Vibram sole, so I came
to depend on them, and certainly like the fact
that Vibrams are durable, perform great
on any surface, so when I saw that Lems made that upgrade,
I definitely wanted to get my
hands on these.
The previous version, I also noticed, had a bit of a fur lining.
If you like that sort of thing, that's great for me.
Didn't make a difference either way,
but this newer updated version does not contain that upper fur liner.
These boots do offer the
wide toe box as well as the zero drop sole,
which we've come to expect from Lems shoes. These boots
are waterproof, so once again,
they can handle pretty much any terrain that you're out there
We're on the trail with whether you're hiking, walking your dog, or
just sightseeing somewhere.
I like the look of these boots so they're excellent just for a
casual night out with with jeans
or whatever your preferred pants would be but they do have
a very nice look to them.
The fact that they contain this elastic here up on the top makes
it super easy to take on and off especially for lazy people like me.
These shoes do come
Some come with an insole, as a matter of fact,
mine came with two sets of insoles.
So if you do feel that there may be a bit snug,
you can go ahead and remove those insoles for a
less restrictive feel.
So let's get into some of the specs on these Chelsea boots from Lems.
As I mentioned, these Chelsea boots are waterproof.
The fit is Lems' widest natural shape.
The upper is full grain pebbled leather.
The lining is a waterproof membrane.
The outsole is the Vibram Mega Grip.
The insole is the Adventure Poly insole.
Stack height is 16 millimeters. The drop is zero.
The weight on these, I opted for a men's size 12 US,
and they weigh in just under 15 ounces.
And these boots do fit true to size.
So I initially liked on my previous Chelsea boots,
the leather. And like I said,
the more you wear it, take care of them, wax them.
The better that they end up looking over time
and now that they are paired with the Vibram sole
to me makes them a must-have for anyone that likes
the Chelsea boot style. I will put my affiliate
