Yes these are synonyms
The noun the noun
The first word is assumption
Something believed to be true without any evidence
An assumption therefore is something one believes before being certain of it
For instance we assume the project will be completed on time
Do you know the appropriate verb for that
Exactly Of course I accept that
I'm assuming that
That means I'm guessing something but I'm not entirely sure
I assume the project will be completed on time
I believe it will be but I'm not entirely certain
The right to expect demand or claim something
Our boss has very high standards for the quality of our work
Here there are several important noun-verb combinations
Be entitled to + accusative
I am entitled to vacation
Make claims against + accusative
Susanna holds high expectations for her partner
To meet or fail to meet a demand
Maria's German course meets my expectations
I hope you've already signed up for the vocabulary
booster—it's going to be a lot of fun for you
And if you'd also like to learn grammar you're warmly welcome in my intensive German courses
The next noun-verb construction: meet a demand
We want to meet the new team leader's expectations
As you can see this word is most commonly used in the plural form
The effort trouble work time or money required to complete a task
It describes how demanding or extensive something is
Preparing the presentation was a major undertaking but it was well worth the effort
In German people often weigh whether the effort involved in something is worthwhile
An interesting verb: abwägen
This means carefully comparing multiple options or their advantages and disadvantages before making a decision
And yes you can say the effort is worth it or the effort isn't worth it
The discrepancy a clear difference or contradiction between two things that should naturally align or match
This term is often used when expectations differ from reality or when theory does not match practice
There is a significant gap between the planned budget and the actual costs
The word is almost always used with the preposition between
This word is more formal and typical of factual texts academic study and professional contexts
The approach the way one tackles a problem or task
in other words how something is done or resolved
Your approach to the problem is very creative This way of expressing
it is almost always used with the preposition and the accusative case
A visual approach to new content helps many learners
Capacity refers to the amount of work or space available meaning the maximum
quantity or level of performance that is accessible for a given purpose
Also how much space time energy or capacity is available
Unfortunately we currently have no capacity to take on another project
In this context the adjectives free and limited are often
used Having free capacity or having limited capacity
Moreover there's a very important verb here: to exhaust or to fully utilize
Maximizing capacity means fully utilizing all available opportunities or reserves
We've fully utilized our capacity
By the way colloquially people often shorten the word and just say "Kappas "
You know I don't have any Kappas left right now or
I'd help you out That said that's pretty informal
The interface is a point where two areas or departments connect and work together
Thus exchange communication or transition takes place there The marketing
department serves as a crucial interface between us and our customers
The term interface is often used in the workplace context to describe collaboration between departments
In IT and technology this term is used to describe the connection between systems or programs
and in communication serving as an intermediary role between two parties the interface
The implementation or practical realization of an idea or plan
Also means something is being concretely carried out and brought to life
The plan is sound but putting it into practice is often difficult
The term implementation naturally derives from the verb implement
To implement something means to put an idea plan or concept into practical action
Most often one implements a plan an idea or a project
A requirement rule or instruction that is set or prescribed and must be followed
Constraints are therefore rules objectives or conditions that are not freely selectable
These are constraints
It is clearly required that everyone arrive on time
That is a given
You follow a guideline adhere to it or you stick to a given requirement
Also adhere to guidelines meet requirements comply with stipulations
These are the typical noun-verb combinations associated with this noun
The client's requirements must be met
The client's requirements must be fulfilled
We strictly adhere to the client's requirements
The word "Kunde" is masculine singular and belongs to the N-declension
In this video I'll explain everything you need to know about the N-declension
Oh and you can also work according to a given guideline
We work according to the client's specifications

Now we continue with verbs that one should know at a high level of language proficiency
To ensure that something remains as it is
It's about actively securing and maintaining a state relationship
or system Ensuring that something remains and continues to exist
For example
We absolutely must maintain contact with our customers
Typical noun-verb combinations here include maintaining contact as in the example sentence
Maintain quality maintain order maintain motivation—crucial when learning
German
Do you have another example
Then please feel free to write it in the comments
To trigger initiate or cause
It means to set something in motion or provoke a reaction
Even a small error in the calculations can trigger a major problem
To trigger is a separable verb
I trigger something
I triggered something
You can trigger various things
Trigger a reaction spark a crisis induce stress evoke an emotion initiate a process
Anything else come to mind
To involve someone or something in planning or decision-making allowing them to contribute their thoughts or efforts
This means deliberately enabling others to think along or participate actively
We should involve all colleagues in the decision
Involving is a separable verb
I am involving myself
It is frequently used in the passive voice
Included for example all relevant factors are taken into account in the decision
Acknowledge admit that one has made a mistake or that something is true
One may recognize something but often only reluctantly and after careful consideration
A person thus admits something they may have been unwilling to acknowledge earlier perhaps because it is uncomfortable
Here is an example
The boss had to admit his first idea wasn't perfect That
couldn't have been easy for him
To admit is a separable verb
I admit it It is frequently used in formal or neutral contexts such as discussions written texts or media
Common nouns that collocate with this verb are to acknowledge a mistake acknowledge a problem acknowledge a weakness
By the way the word "eingeräumt" also has a literal meaning:
placing something neatly into a cupboard shelf or room
For example I put the shelf in order or I put books into the shelf
This meaning is everyday language and entirely independent of its figurative sense
But that's exactly why we love the German language isn't it
To ensure something is safe and reliable in operation or availability
To actively make sure something is upheld or made possible
The new software is designed to ensure the security of your data
Warranty is primarily used in formal contexts such as law administration profession and media
It comes from the verb "gewähren" and means to ensure or guarantee something securely
Exactly "gewähren" means to give or allow and "gewährleisten" means to ensure that something is provided
Next verb handle something such as dealing with a device or a situation or using it
It therefore explains how to use organize or carry out something
For instance I still don't exactly know how to properly handle the new program
This verb is always used with the accusative case
Caution the verb handhaben is not separable
For instance the new device is easy to handle
Please also pay attention to the use of the perfect tense
For example that's how I've always handled it
Question things instead of accepting them at face value critically examine them
One therefore thinks more carefully asks questions and may even doubt assumptions or statements
One should always question information before passing it on
Questioning is inseparable and consists of "behind" and "asking "
Questioning with emphasis on asking—of course not literally questioning something behind something but delving deeper into inquiry
To ask questions means wanting to know something challenging it and critically examining it
For instance given the rapid advancement of AI and digital media right now it's especially important to critically question information isn't it
Ensuring that something actually happens or is done correctly
Controlling organizing something in such a way that there is no room for doubt
Make sure all the windows are closed before you leave
Also the verb ensure has another meaning
Ensuring also means confiscation in this sense
it is typically used by police or authorities
Seizure means officially taking something and placing it under government control because it is connected to a crime or legal proceeding
The police secured the illegal goods
The police seized the illegal goods
That's just flawed reasoning—generalizing something that applies to a single case and applying it to everything
Thus a general statement is made even though it does not apply to every situation or every person
For instance just because the test came back negative doesn't mean you can generalize the result
And what's the appropriate noun for that
Do you know it Yes generalization
A nice lengthy word—generalization
The opposite of generalizing is incidentally differentiating
This involves looking closely and taking differences into account
To illustrate something by making it clearer and more distinct through examples or images
In essence this helps people understand it better
The chart should illustrate the rising sales figures
Do you also know the appropriate adjective and noun for this
Take a moment to think
Very good
Vivid— that's the right adjective and visualization is the corresponding noun
Incidentally synonyms here would be visualize clarify or
illustrate Have you already encountered all these verbs
Please leave me a comment and try writing your own examples
Next up are adjectives

For instance I used to have a strong accent in German
Through targeted practice and extensive repetition I was able to improve my pronunciation

Also morally acceptable ethically justifiable professionally defensible largely for the most part nearly complete
It describes something that largely holds true but not quite 100 percent
For example there were extensive changes in our company
Incidentally according to Duden this word can be written either together or separately
Both are correct By the way
here's an interesting piece
of information: in fact it is often used as an adverb
For example the problem is largely
resolved only minor details remain
Without a doubt absolutely certain so that no one can possibly doubt it
There is no uncertainty and no other possibility
For example the expert report provides irrefutable evidence
Synonyms for "zweifelsfrei" include unequivocal undeniable indisputable and unquestionably
