Shakur Stevenson (USA) vs Josh Padley (UK) | Boxing Fight Highlights

Shakur Stevenson is a three-weight king and Josh Padley has never fought anywhere near this level the chance of his life and since he was applauding with Josh Padley great story and good luck to him in there. It really is what an opportunity has been had here that he's got to try and get to grip Shakur Stevenson so sharp and makes very few mistakes. There's a timing and when he's has the time the shot then he gets past that it's the foot he shows that again against change if I go with this jumping back in that's the truth. Kamarete of Shakur Stevenson and he's gone these weights razor sharp qualities. One thing with Padley as well he takes a massive last time now it was an open rotation of Mark Chaim bricked up the script. This is what he does well to reset a little bit. It was a really good win that for Josh. Opportunity as the guys were saying to solve for but he'll give it a real go to the body. Right Stevenson and he's fainting as well Padley a little bit. Yeah I don't think you can in his tracks. If you just show the rush just go out there and express yourself. Yeah he can go Josh Padley he's got a free ticket and he's getting handsomely paid against Shakur Stevenson. One is in the books. They're saying in a Padley's corner very calm in Valley Moses is Russ Amber in there the famous cut man who Shakur Stevenson's Barry Jones. Thank you Adam. Some of the coming his way from Stevenson build and grow into this place. So a quick sharp shoot of Stevenson doesn't make you miss that and that really but also there's pressure on suppressive job as well with that so that vision that that little look a little scope and a little bit of manners here on Josh Padley. Against Oscar Valdez in vague and uh much that and he's into the pro ranks them here. Yeah looking good good variation was with the shots bubble jab than the left downstairs numbers coming from Stevenson Padley but not at the intensity hard impossible right hand because full fight camp and now Kerr Stevenson getting to Padley tries to poor master. The way he takes that foot really heavy shot but a really clean shot or they'll slow you down. You get obviously from a camp plan to beat your opponent it's so difficult at the yeah but you have to get tougher don't you. Yeah we were looking to get Josh Padley on a show but he's here and sharing the ring with Shakur Stevenson. Yeah it's just getting to grips with the speed of Stevenson the variation as well it's so so tough to do so he's always thinking and that was a lot of Stevenson's ability. And who's looking to with the pink of Newark so too of course Shakur Steven super featherweight and current and reign lovely work from Stevenson and a body shot yeah Padley really their game as Darren says key comedy he should go to he should be he should be going for the gears he will Barry I'm sure there he is this is a Padley body shot from his Wednesday going into this he said I'm not here to make up I'm going to leave everything in the ring and we're seeing in patches when he can he's trying his best never tasting a loss so chance in there as long as he's with him but with the Padley glance from Shakur Stevenson look at that bearing it out with speed and more from Stevenson as this is and as fluid as this is Padley's having a little go here you know like he's trying to box his way into can he's done a few good shots he's not being overall with the occasion is he so Stevenson every time Stevenson commits to an excess so that's that comes back tries it for the class at the end of the round a doubleheader Saturday it's Shakur Stevenson and Josh Padley we got Parker Bercouli to come and then the big one the rematch better be f and that was good from Stevenson it didn't think he'd go through with it and he's trying his very he's doing okay and he said he was in a loft we were in someone's house that only boxing can bring these stories I can do it and you know what as well we'll have seen this with Josh Padley and with goalie and if they both lose so yeah for sure well on Chris's card Josh Brown and always the chin down to sometimes he's been able to find that left hand he just lacks that enough for special fighters it's a little bit of like even Crawford Crawford one massive puncher done a little weight no when he caught you with a clean shot like that it's a little bit everything else he's a couldn't well he does anyway because he's so I think that's why it's hard for people I'm frustrated with Stevenson because he is he does it he's a joyous he really is he often goes to this more for the boxing connoisseur Mel Herring that was good he couldn't stop Oscar can he stop Josh Padley whichever you look at it and Padley's doing really well here a little bit more pressure as well quiet and they want to somewhere different to get a beat but he has in fact he's every time he throws a punch yeah quite around that Moses Italma too long what to get back in the ring he took about 20 seeing that maybe Kunrat Pula for that WBA regular something like that Shakur Stevenson lives in Texas his home area the black and pink he was a standout amateur brilliant turned over in April 27 he's won everything he's thrown 141 though again a smile from Stevenson who to be happy taking his time lovely they say Padley corner a lovely job ready for the four of Terence Crawford he's good sure he'll be willing really open up and crush the show on the champion on the some razzle-dazzle very best fighter in boxing undefeated goes through the weight easily also about entertainment and what he's trying to achieve back into the beginning to get the combination game as pad noticed you've got to get this done at least two I applaud and respect how good of a fight has to be beaten but you to show us something else here when Padley attacks never happening really that's for Stevenson throw that out of you are always going to be effective I mean you bring your body into the ring look at that jab and the body look fantastic from Stevenson what a couple before that he's sprayed I think Padley's hurt here I am sure this is better for Stevenson good for him for those body shots from Stevenson speed the accuracy oh and there's the body shot that was an absolute ring IQ fifth that was uh brilliant but his foot on the and also with body works probably the one yeah that he's gonna have to adopt in this fight because but he's trying look at these combinations three of those shots that's it stevenson here's the razzle-dazzle backhand bravery and the he wants them to the orchard absolutely in the ring here he's having a go absolutely class that's brilliant body shots side to side it's getting hard manly dots are really sweet and there's some aggression in there freedom they'll be loving it back in donny josh padley and why not in the case of potential super he's having a really good go body shot shakur stevenson he finds the body like you say he's offering too much is he padley finds that gap really are shakurson his quality josh says victor lachlan stevenson yeah that hurt him and he knows that shakur stevenson that's what you think he's under pressure back to the combination loving it in his corner sucker for an uppercut look at him he finds different angles with every shot do you know what i mean he just keep moving his feet and you never get near him that's where the frustration comes from because like you say when he puts them together it is poetry emotion it's such doing more please well he's so relaxed in there chicas would have thought josh padley would have got halfway through this w chris gave him the first round as well you would full cap but to have a couple of days that's just against any just not just a normal six on the fight against someone is phenomenal nice shot from stevenson pat just dazed a little bit it springs him into action and technically very easily he's just having to absolutely do the tech he's showing something yeah you'll be fighting back at the pressure that you do it or you don't and from stevenson you feel yeah the class will just ooze out oh love from stevenson doesn't even like i don't want to throw a punch against inside still won't give up try his heart out like we say his will to win but he's just in there with and without a training camp yeah there's shot car it's the talk straight out as you'd get with a pet just distance and the accuracy actually with that jab and there's body shots again around and he's looking at bike on and hear the bell here like that you can't fake that brit his nutritionist his team enjoying every moment of the best fight card and i'm sure martin mccauley will as well body as well and he needs to get to worgerson he's had some real success with the body work but seems to be all very close to the end of the round let's try and put a dent in minutes to to get the job done bouncing on his feet full of and why not fighting with freedom and your name for himself here and he will go in has got him a huge amount of performance as well heart desire to lay down as he has been second best but laid down he won't go down but he can punch his weight but acute we'll get stoppages pass and that's what he should be doing now he's having a good shot let's see if you get back up on the ropes that's lovely from again goes to the body an uppercut this is done that's good one seems a little cheek elbow on there just to create the space to throw the up trying to march him down and i expected a fighting to try and win an extraordinary story as dishes up so often that's much better stevens from his normal southpaw style switching it around i think my plan is doing quite well stay low they're saying in the corner it's not enough to be let's be honest throughout these last few rounds it's got a little flash to now close the show why you're a pound per pound no well said that's absolutely right exceptionally good but this is the time to close it off crowd and maybe whole game terrific here we go back every time you think really fantastic and he'll come again you never know but only four more puncher i wonder if he'll have a nice body shot he'll have a rest from his allergies for a while just to enjoy and reflect on what a week it's been but here comes was superb and padley's really annoyed but that was class from the wbc lightweight and is this the time darren and barry of course it is of course it's the second dress now but it has to be still plenty of time left round i'm gonna move on the body there for this for padley victor laughlin josh padley it's absolutely superb going in there josh padley incredible respect for him huge respect but stevenson had him down that was sweet and padley felt that one worse than the first the count said he'll try and get up he does he's got 50 odd seconds listen to this he's looking at stevenson to that shot he threw that on purpose he knew what he was doing there he said keep them up padley he's just pummeling away now stevenson throwing the combinations out stevenson target in the body right time he's been brilliant but shakur stevenson does get the stoppage victory and defends his world lightweight title it took time warming up there's a few moves for the crowd but that was the right decision from the corner stevenson lightweight champion of the world stevenson
