👉 Perfect for anyone looking for style tips for oval face shape.
People with oval face are blessed with balanced features.
However, the wrong haircut or eyebrow shape can ruin those features.
But that's not going to happen because today I'm sharing the full oval face guide
that will help you go from basic to divine as an oval face girl.
With that said, let's start with hair.
Styles that add volume around the face are the most recommended.
So go for long layers, u-cut and v-cut and shag cut.
If you have short hair, then long bob and pixie cut will work for you.
Avoid overly long straight hair without layers as they make the face extremely long and flat.
Short bowl cuts breaks the natural balance of the face and make the forehead appear bigger.
For bangs, curtain, wispy bangs and side sweat bangs will flatter your face.
Avoid heavy blonde bangs and short baby bangs.
Hairstyles that frame the face are straight hair tucked behind ears,
low ponytail, half up half down, high ponytail and high bun.
Avoid slicked back styles with no volume, extremely voluminous sides
and flat middle parts with no layers.
For my curly hair girlies, focus on styles that add volume at the crown
and avoid bulk on the sides to better frame the face.
Such as curly shag cut, long curly layers, round curly cut or pixie cut.
Avoid heavy unlayered curls as they create volume at the bottom and overwhelm the face.
For bangs, you can go for curly voluminous bangs but avoid straight across bangs.
Hairstyles that make your beauty pop up are
pineapple updo, half up space buns and loose curly ponytail.
For hijabis, I know you might be lost looking for the right style
so I picked the right hijab styles for you.
Which are turban style, loose draped hijab, one-sided drapes and turkish wrap.
These add balance and give a chic look.
But avoid high volume turban and heavy layers wraps
as they can overwhelm the natural balance of the face.
Now that you've got the full hair guide,
let's move to makeup techniques to elevate the balance even more.
For contour, make sure to do it along your hairline to give an illusion of a smaller forehead.
Slightly below the cheekbones and under the jawline to give more of a lifted look.
For blush, apply it focusing more on the apples of the cheeks.
And for highlighter, apply it above the cheekbones,
nose bridge and the center of the forehead and on the chin.
For eyebrow shape, go for straight, soft and shallow arches.
Stay away from thin and high arches as they hide your natural beauty.
Also make sure to choose the appropriate accessories to complete the final touches.
Let's start with glasses.
The shapes that will flatter you the most are cat eye, square and rectangular and round frames.
Avoid oversized or tiny frames as they overwhelm the face.
Chains and necklaces, go for medium length, subtle chokers and v-neck.
Avoid very long chains and heavy chokers.
And lastly, earrings.
You can wear hoops, teardrops, geometric shapes and chandeliers.
Avoid very long and tiny earrings.
Let's finish up with necklines.
And there are so many that can flatter your face,
such as square, boat, sweetheart, off-shoulder, collar shirt and medium v-neck.
But make sure to avoid deep plunging v-necks and high turtleneck.
