In this video we'll discuss where to eat breakfast in Gwalior
In which the first place is No 1
Indian Coffee House
So guys our next stop is Indian Coffee House
Which you've probably all heard of
Since it's present in many cities
And what makes Indian Coffee House truly unique is its location in South India
Still we're planning to try breakfast here today
It's 7:30 in the morning
It's our second day in
Gwalior After this we'll head to the
fort So we decided to try the breakfast at Indian Coffee House
So I'll tell you how it is after we've eaten Let's go inside
We've come inside Indian Coffee House
No matter which city we visit we always
make sure to try Indian Coffee House We tried
it in Chandigarh We tried it in Bhopal
I personally enjoy eating at Indian Coffee House because it's an excellent
spot for breakfast Let me
show you once more what's on the menu
And what we’re going
to order We’ll try something different Something different
from what we had on the last menu
Let's check out the menu In the menu of
Indian Coffee House you'll find a wide variety
of breakfast items
However what we ordered there was the veg cutlet and a grilled sandwich
Boiled egg
Buttered toast
And our tea
Yes on the first day of our Gwalior journey we wanted to begin with a light breakfast
But without a cutlet the breakfast isn't enjoyable
So guys we just had breakfast at
Indian Coffee House in Gwalior— they serve
the real deal which is exactly why I love it here just like it was today
But today I thought my butter was too salty
In fact I’m going to talk about the cutlet
Of all the Indian Coffee House cutlets I've ever had this was the best But
wherever I had the butter toast it was
the worst—truly the worst butter toast
I didn't like it at all
But if we come here again
tomorrow we won't order the butter toast Everything else was great
At Indian Coffee House you can spend between Rs 150 and 200 person
You can find the location of this place using the Google Maps link provided in the description
Now that we're talking about breakfast how could we possibly skip the poha from Gwalior
Our next destination is
No 2 Agrawal Poha Bhandar
So guys the next thing we're trying in Gwalior is Mr Agrawal's poha Yes
Mr Agrawal's poha is quite famous in
Gwalior It has been his shop since 1991
He sells poha gujiya dhokla and the like
It's typically a breakfast item
It opens from 6:30 to 7 in the morning
And if you enjoy eating poha you'll definitely love his chakpata poha
Let's go inside and try his poha
Let's go
Namaste brother
How much is
the poha Rs 300
Give me one plate What do
you put in
the poha This is the stuffing
Alright
Fennel seeds coriander and the like
And what’s this on top sir
Gram flour bhujiya
Okay This is also
placed on top of it correct
So guys our poha has arrived
It's packed in a truly authentic
manner We've prepared a bowl and placed the poha inside
And on top of that the poha appears to be quite
spicy They've topped it with
sev which is besan sev
This besan sev has a delightful crispiness to it Now
I’ll eat it and let you know what
I think Brother I’m telling you this is the best thing ever
This poha offers a perfect blend of mango and spices
You'll also find the spicy taste a bit
sharp your stomach will feel satisfied your
breakfast will be perfectly complete and
the crunch of the besan sev is just right
Peanuts have also been added in between
They are also doing a
very crunchy work You will love the poha of the Agrawal people when visiting Gwalior
You'll get to enjoy so many
more delicious things Like the savory tang of the besan
here The fluffy
dhokla here And the sweet gujiya here
You can spend a day here for
just Rs 50 and it's
a must- visit if you want to taste the authentic food of Gwalior
Now let's discuss the best spots
for lunch and dinner
in Gwalior Number 3 on the list is Delhi Paratha Wala
So guys our next stop for food
is Delhi Paratha Wala—there's a
famous paratha street in Delhi where
you can get delicious parathas
You get deep-fried parathas with 2 to
3 vegetables
the full thali where
you can take the parathas separately
but the vegetables are unlimited
Similarly Delhi Paratha Wala is Gwalior's own culinary gem
It is
immensely popular There's a shop nearly a century old—possibly
even older
So if it's been going on for 100 years then it'll
be great Let's
go inside Let's order some parathas
Let's eat and find out how it tastes Let's go
So guys we're at Delhi Paratha Wala
They run a full-service restaurant
and offer a complete thali system featuring a variety of parathas
If you order parathas you get the same experience as the parathas served
in Delhi—you receive the full thali and enjoy it with everything included
So guys our paratha has arrived
And this is how you serve parathas
This is our authentic Delhi style
They’ve given us a thali
And in the thali we have a
vegetable chutney raita There are two types of chutney:
a dry vegetable and a wet vegetable
And the paratha is served on a separate plate I think one paratha will be
enough for a person but you're welcome to take more
After that you can refill the vegetables as many times as you like So
let's try it and tell you how the paratha turns out
I'm seeing this for
the first time Let me tell you first You
won't find this anywhere else
You've made a chutney from fenugreek seeds
haven't you Yes
Sir your method of preparing parathas is exactly
the same—just like how
you fry them deep-fry them
We've had the parathas from
Parathe Wali Gali In that lane every
restaurant serves parathas so I've eaten there too
I really
liked it Although I did notice one thing—that the
parathas are made quickly—and a lot of people
are eating from you
But they turn into a paratha's puri
So some people don't like it
But after coming here after coming to Delhi Paratha Wali Gwalor
These parathas looked like parathas to me
This one is also deep-fried
It’s prepared in the same
manner Yet these parathas have the authentic taste of parathas
Their filling is so generously packed
with potatoes The parathas are wonderfully
thick Plus you can enjoy vegetables
with vegetables And you also receive raita
So it's entirely up to you no matter
how you choose to eat it The best part is that there are many varieties of parathas available
here That way there's no confusion
You'll get aloo paneer and mix parathas
You can choose from these three
Sir when I came here in 1900 when my father came
Once there was a sweet shop After sweets a puri vegetable
shop took its place Today like
parathas puri has become famous
Most people come to eat in the evening from 8 pm
to 11 pm You have to come to Gwalior to eat parathas
Whether you're coming to Sara or heading here from Gwalior you've got to try the parathas
In Delhi Paranthewale the cost person is approximately Rs
150 and its location is provided in the description
No 4 Taste of Punjab
So guys we've arrived at a highly renowned restaurant in Gwalior
This place is called The Taste of Punjab
You can see behind
me There's a takeout counter here
And there's also a dining restaurant a family-style eatery
This is a fully vegetarian restaurant
I found it online
Its reviews also exceed 2000
It has a
strong rating We've arrived at Taste of
Punjab Let's see how the food tastes
Let's give it a try
Let's go inside
So guys we're sitting at our Taste of Punjab and I just glanced at
the menu here—so in the menu I’ll tell
you the prices aren’t very expensive
It's an incredibly affordable price
Even though it's a completely
vegetarian restaurant All the vegetables are fresh and on hand
So everyone let's order our full vegetarian dinner
Two vegetables two naans
And then we’ll do it again
Let’s go
So guys I want to give a review of
Taste of Punjab How did we like the food What
did we eat
We had ordered Shahi Paneer and Garam Masala
We also ordered a Sabz
Naan and a Garlic
Naan The food was extremely hot It was Karahi Naan
Garlic Naan was also excellent but
it wasn't a standout Shahi Paneer dish
You'll really enjoy it if you eat it with Aloo Naan or Butter Naan
Our expenses for two days come to about 500 rupees
The cost person will be 250 rupees for
a single dinner You can eat well on that
Now that we've discussed food let's also
talk about the famous sweets of Gwalior
The best sweets you'll find here are at No 5 Bahadurra Sweets
Bahadurra Sweets is a renowned shop in Gwalior
Where you can enjoy traditional desi ghee-based delicacies
Here you can enjoy all kinds of freshly made sweets
The most famous ones we tried here were the Laddus
Yes luckily when we arrived at Bahadurra Sweets laddus
were being made there and we
got to see the entire process
How they're fried in a pan
Then they're dipped in sugar syrup And small Laddus are shaped by hand
So what happens next
We also tried that freshly made Laddu
So guys we're sampling the Laddus from Bahadurra Sweets And
let me tell you the best part is
These are freshly made
Laddus Here the boondi is
being prepared in a pan then shaped into a Laddu
And the Laddus are made by hand They
've served me two freshly made Laddus
We're going to try them And let me tell you they look incredibly tempting
Let me tell you how it tastes I've never eaten such delicious
Laddus in my life—probably because these
are freshly made They're soft
It breaks apart in your hands As soon as
you put it in your mouth
it melts You don’t need to chew it
at all It’s absolutely incredible
Its sweetness is perfectly balanced—
neither too sweet nor
too mild just
right It's clearly made with desi
ghee which gives it that rich authentic flavor
And I understand why Bahadurra Sweets bears such a name This dessert
makes a perfect ending to your dinner
or lunch It’s going to be delightful
Along with all these places there
are other spots in Gwalior where you
can enjoy various famous street foods These include first and foremost
Jodhpur Misthan Mandar's Paneer Jalebi SS
Kachoriwala's Kachori
Ratiram Gajjakwala's Gajja
Lambi Pani Puri's Gol Gappe
Panchi Raj's Petha Gilauri
and here's Karela Chaat
So whenever you go to Gwalior
Do try all these spots for dining
So these were our top picks for eating in Gwalior
I hope you enjoyed the video
