Qiao Yue warmly greets our esteemed viewers
Dear viewers
within just the first 30 days of the new year
Humanity as a whole and the people of Vietnam in particular have
repeatedly witnessed events that have left many of us feeling unsettled
Dirty food social unrest
eroding trust unexpected
shocks and rapid escalation like never before
And that was just the beginning
The question leaving many people
puzzled right now is what will happen
when we officially enter the year 2026 a year known as double fire
How much more harsh and brutal must humanity still face
No one knows exactly what will happen next
But just looking back over
the past 30 days is enough
to understand one thing: 2026 won't be an easy year
The issue isn't whether volatility will come
but whether we've prepared ourselves for it
What Xiao Yue shared today isn't some lofty or abstract concept
nor are these theories meant to be discussed from the sidelines
Those are the core things Xiao Yue is striving to nurture each
day little by little step by step
sometimes steady sometimes slow
ot always perfectly achievable
Tiều Nguyệt is also someone
navigating this era feeling worries sometimes
needing to remind herself to pause center
her mind and preserve her well-being
The only difference today is that along
that path dear friends now walk beside us
And today Xiao Yue shares with you seven insights
distilled from the teachings of those who came before
from textbooks from classics and from the very lessons
that current events are forcing each person to relearn
Not to escape hardship
but to carry oneself safely through
the year 2026 calm and focused without losing one's way
If you or anyone you know feels they too could benefit from such a grounding moment of clarity
We invite you all to join Xiao Yue for the full video today
The first thing we must do to survive the great tribulation of 2026
is to strengthen our rear base rather than merely pray for peace
Ladies and gentlemen in times of turmoil ordinary people often
pray for calm but those
with wisdom understand clearly
The universe operates according to cause and effect it does not cease its
fluctuations simply because one prays The Buddha never
taught beings to seek a life free from misfortune
He teaches us to face impermanence head-on and to cultivate inner
strength sufficient to remain unshaken when disaster strikes
Therefore the rear is the most important thing
The rear begins with the family
A peaceful home a relationship marked by patience care and
mutual support through hardship—this is already a great blessing
Others may be in chaos out there but if peace
remains within there's still a place to return to in the heart
Next comes a clean flow of
cash—not to hoard words out
of fear but to keep the mind calm when crises arise
The Buddha taught living with contentment yet contentment
does not mean giving up or lacking preparation
A simple clear debt-free life is the most
practical approach to household management
Next comes selective relationships
In peacetime everyone seems
familiar but it's in times of turmoil
that you truly see who lifts
you up and who pulls you down
A wise person doesn’t need many friends—just
a few wholesome relationships conversations
that don’t stir deceit and companionship
that doesn’t weaken their spiritual resolve
Finally the most basic life skill is knowing
how to care for your body how to manage
on your own when resources are scarce and
how to stay calm in unexpected situations
Those profound insights in
Buddhist teachings are precisely
practical wisdom—clear-minded composed and unshaken
Never paralyzed by adversity Therefore
securing one's rear is not out
of fear for the future but because
one has truly understood impermanence
So don't delude yourself with false peace
True fortune never lies in avoiding disaster true
fortune lies in remaining
unshaken when adversity strikes
A calm mind finds its place and the path
still holds firm Xiao Yue believes that the one who has a solid foundation behind
them is the one who has already moved ahead
on the path of wisdom
In the rich tradition of Eastern literature
Zhuge Liang was not a man
defined by material possessions
He was not someone who spent his days
Praying to heaven to foresee one's
fate waiting passively for celestial
blessings to arrive In contrast Zhuge
Liang embodies clear rational intelligence
Knowing that the times are always
unstable one must prepare from the root
People later remembered Zhuge Liang amidst
the eastern winds and his extraordinary
strategies but if one reads carefully
the Records of the Three Kingdoms
you'll see he never bet
the fate of the empire on
miracles What Zhuge Liang did
before every military campaig
It's not about securing a favorable battlefront
but about meticulously targeting the rear lines
Has Liang Tiao reached
sufficient stability Are the people at peace Are
there signs of unrest within Has
the line of succession been severed
He understood one thing very clearly: the
battlefield was merely
the surface while the
true outcome lay hidden behind the scenes
That is why Zhuge Liang became so renowned
He was the one who consistently upheld the principle
of Liang Cao even when criticized for being
overly cautious always maintaining discipline
and order even knowing it would alienate people
Always maintain public stability
and regard it as a long-term
foundation Throughout his tenure he
never boasted about his achievements
Without mentioning cunning strategies it
strongly emphasizes maintaining national
virtue preserving the people's hearts
and safeguarding the nation's foundation
The phrase later generations
often summarized as "unstable rear
chaotic front lines" actually
goes beyond mere military doctrine
But that's a principle of life
Zhuge Liang understood
that when one's inner strength
is abundant one should venture forth and strike boldly from the outside
It's just inviting an even greater downfall upon oneself
This spirit when examined through the lens of Buddhist
teachings appears remarkably close to the path of enlightenment
The Buddha did not teach people to live on fragile hope He taught them to clearly see
impermanence and then to
cultivate inner strength
so as not to be overwhelmed by impermanence
Likewise Zhuge Liang never deluded
himself with mere luck nor did
he rely on fleeting emotions nor
was he swayed by temporary momentum
but forget the foundation
He accepted moving slowly
accepting being criticized as overly cautious
just to gain one thing
the ability to travel far
without breaking or collapsing halfway through
If we place this story
in the year 2026 the
lesson becomes very clear:
the wise will not ask
How can we ensure peace this
year If turmoil
comes have we
already prepared a plan Do we
have a secure foundation
ready
The foundation of
life today is no longer
just a storehouse of supplies but the
family—can it still be a place to return
to Is financial stability sufficient
Are you calm and composed or easily unsettled Can
your inner self remain
steady when great waves rise
Sand price a lifetime without seeking peace you
prepare to stand
firm and that is precisely the
spirit that Xiao Yue believes in
The true peace for you Xiao Jin
who carries this with you as you
enter a year full of upheaval
like 2026 is not
found in prayers
Peace arises
from a foundation
that was prepared long ago
Here follows the second task
that dear friend
Hiếu must undertake
which is to
reduce noisy connections
and increase genuine connections
in the harmonious year of 2026
Ladies and gentlemen
there's a truth that's
hard to hear but Xiao
Yue feels she must speak
plainly: during periods of intense upheaval
the thing that kills people the fastest is
It is not disaster
but rather a flood
of chaotic information harmony is
not only the balance of heaven and
earth but also the
harmony of the age
False news spreads faster than truth
negative emotions
spread more powerfully than reason
and crowds always panic
faster than the calm-minded
Just one sensational
headline a hastily
edited video clip and an unverified
quote—enough to ignite a wildfire of
emotion among millions in an instant
Anger fear and confusion
in such a state people
no longer think
with reason
but react instinctively
In Buddhist teachings this is called the mind
chasing after external phenomena the sense
organ darting about no
longer able to maintain
control over itself whereas in modern science
This phenomenon is known as
collective emotional contagion
where fear anger and panic rapidly
spread throughout a community
and paralyze each individual's
ability for independent thoug
No matter how you label it the outcome
remains the same: humanity will lose the right to be the master
of its own destiny
in the era of peaceful coexistence
The survivor isn't the one who
knows the most news but the one who
knows how to filter information and
when to turn off electronic devices
and learn to return
to the real life of
oneself—less online—not because social
media is inherently bad but because the
human heart has its
limits in enduring it
Without sufficient mental discipline
lingering too long in the turbulent
current of emotions
only disturbs the
mind's clarity and dulls intuition
and important decisions easily
veer off course stray from
the right path reduce debate
because in times of chaos
Most debates are no longer paths
toward truth—just spaces where
emotions seek refuge and the ego
constantly searches for its place
and the anxiety
of seeking someone
to take their place—each person
entering the debate carries a
burden of fear anger and restra
Not yet able to face themselves directly
they project all their inner aspects
onto the other under the
guise of logical justification
—Buddhism calls this
The mind races across the field and the network
Science shows
that when emotions are strongly triggered
the rational part of the brain
essentially goes silent
e more one argues the further one
strays from the truth the more one speaks
the more the mind becomes agitated
retreating at the right
moment is not a loss
but rather not thrust oneself into
places that drain blessings and vitality
Stop following the world's gossip
for it is a quietly draining form
of energy—each time
you pay attention
you lose a piece of yourself
every time we feel anxious angry
triumphant or judgmental about
someone else's
life it's a moment
when our own true life slips away
I sit here yet my mind races
after tragedies mistakes
and rivalries that are
not mine—within
Buddhist teachings
It means using
your heart as a vessel to hold another
person's karma in energy science this phenomenon
occurs when energy is drawn away due to focused
attention causing life
energy to gradually diminish
yet unaware of it themselves
Many feel weary lost and overwhelmed
not because their lives are too
heavy but because they live too much
of their lives in
the lives of others
Staying out of gossip doesn't make
you ignorant no one dies from not
knowing what's going
on in the world
but getting too caught up in it—
en one is certainly drained of life
energy and many people collapse simply
because they know
too much about things
that don't matter to their own lives
Holding onto your energy isn't selfish
—it's the bare minimum requirement to
remain clear-minded
and grounded as you
move through a year full of upheaval
2026
When the noise subsides when
collective emotions
no longer pull you
along only then can you truly listen
to the rhythm of your own breath
e hunger of the soul and
the genuine intuition w
And when energy is
preserved wisdom naturally
emerges—this is
the first step
unglamorous not
lofty yet profoundly essential
but absolutely essential to safely
navigate through the
great tribulation
of 2026 and dear friends once you
have learned to guard your hear
Free from the noise and chaos of the world
learn to listen less
speak less stop chasing
others' affairs and gossip
Then the next question
we must confront
is this: if the body has exhausted
its strength what will sustain the
mind and what will carry us on the path
What do we have to cross over with
a year of dual calamities
that's why now we move on to
point number three
something fundamental to the point that
Many people often overloo
Condition 3: Cultivate the body properly for
the body is a spiritual instrument if you
truly understand this you will be able to
survive the great
calamities of the coming era
2026 esteemed listeners
in the scriptures of the Buddha
this truth is repeatedly emphasized
yet many who hear it
soon forget it
Being born as a
human is an extremely
rare and precious opportunity
the master compared it to a blind
turtle surfacing in the vast ocean
once every hundred years and just at
that moment its head slipped perfectly
into a narrow opening
a small cave carved
by waves drifting gently across the sea
The Buddha's message
was not meant to tell
strange tales but to show that obtaining
a human body amidst countless lifetimes
is an opportunity that arises almost never
Only a human body is qualified to
hear the Dharma understand the Dharma
and practice the Dharma—not every
conscious being
possesses this ability
Without a physical body even with
merit one cannot
practice cultivation
even with wisdom one cannot transform
karma Therefore in Buddhist teachings
The human body is not a burden but
a precious spiritual instrument the
sole means by which
the mind can rely
upon to tread the path to liberation
Harming this body not
only causes suffering
to oneself but also amounts to severing the
very foundation for spiritual practice
that one has painstakingly cultivated Therefore
Knowing when to eat and drink in moderation
knowing when to rest at the right time knowing how to keep
this body safe and stable—
this is not clinging to the
body but honoring the profound value of human life
what the Buddha refers to as being human
is not merely a condition
to endure until it
ends nor a tool to be exploited and drained
but rather the very instrument of practice
It is the sole means by which the mind
can rely on to study the path practice
the path and
transform suffering—hereafter
Tiều Nguyên will share this with you
recall an event
the Buddha receiving a bowl of milk rice
by the river Nairanjana
an event
clarifying a crucial moment in his journey
Ladies and gentlemen
at that time
Siddhartha Gautama journeyed to
the very end of the path of
asceticism The
scriptures record tha
He practiced an extremely rigorous
ascetic discipline
bringing both body
and mind into a state of vast lucid
awareness like boundless emptiness
For the first two
years he hardly
consumed any food surviving on
just a few sesame seeds for the
next two years he
drank only water
and in the final two years
he consumed absolutely nothing
referred to as food six years
of severe asceticism passed
e Bodhisattva's body had become so emaciated
that only skin and bones remained
his skin dark and sallow
his form gaunt and haggard like a dried-up skeleton still breathing
People at the time referred to Him as
He sat motionless in meditation as
still as a stone in the depths of the
forest so still that ants could build
their nest right beneath where he sat
yet He remained utterly unmoved
The villagers and
the children herding
the water buffalo were all astonished
by the sight of the mysterious monk
Some of the mischievous children
Even when the farmer pressed his cheek
tightly against His ear and playfully poked
it His mind remained utterly still free
from any reaction—
throughout those six years
The Bodhisattva hardly
spoke at all except
for a single solemn utterance—He gently
comforted the heavenly beings urging them not to grieve
too deeply over His passing
because He clearly knew He would soon
attain the state of non-enlightenme
Yet when six years of ascetic hardship
had reached their peak a profound
question arose in his
mind: Why had this
extreme path brought no enlightenment
He clearly saw that asceticism does not
open the door to
enlightenment but only wears
down the body making it impossible to
sustain meditation in
the boundless emptiness
Just as the ascetic masters
have always taught it was
impossible to end suffering within
that realm at that very moment
The Bodhisattva decides to abandon the
extreme path not by
forsaking the vow to
attain enlightenment but by letting go
of a practice no longer
aligned with truth
On the banks of the Nairanjana River near
the place where he endured six years of
ascetic practices there was a large village
and in that village lived two young women
Her name is Sujata and Supriya is
slightly younger
than the prince for a
long time the two of them have heard
tales of Prince Siddhartha's teachings
a remarkable appearance possessing
exceptional talent
across 64 artistic
disciplines and an uncommonly kind
heart sustained over two decades
Two young women uphold virtuous
lives silently praying that
one day they might be chosen as
concubines of the crown prince
Yet without the slightest awareness he
had abandoned his royal
life to become a renunciant One day the two maidens were
informed by the Devas of their impending demise
They were taught to offer food for the
altar to the two
ascetic monks and their
wish would be fulfilled believing this
good news the two maidens were overjoyed
They milked 500 red-haired
cows cooked the milk into
a pot of pure porridge and kept it warm overnight
In the cleanest room
The next morning
the milk congee filled the air with a rich fragrant aroma
its surface adorned with a smooth velvety layer of milk
A vision of eight guardian fish appeared
On that day
Fan Tian and Dishi
manifested as two ascetic monks
o guide the two young maidens to the
correct person who
should be offered the bed
when the two heavenly emperors clearly
manifested their true forms He taught tha
If this milk rice porridge is offered to
Bodhisattva Siddhartha while he was practicing
asceticism by the banks of the Nairanjana
River the merit would be immeasurable
And all good deeds were fulfilled the
two young women then filled their most
precious bowl with milk
porridge and set out to find the Bodhisattva
When they met Him
His body frail breath faint
eyes half-closed yet emanating
an extraordinary stillness—
knowing he had found the right one
Two daughters offered a bowl of milk
porridge with utmost sincerity the
Bodhisattva graciously accepted the
offering then returned
the precious bowl
After eating the milk porridge he asked
the two young maidens what they wished for
from that bed offering unaware of his true
identity the two maidens respectfully replied
Only hoping to become a concubine
of Prince
Siddhartha at Kapilavastu
Hearing this the Buddha asked
again: "Don't you know the prince "
They had already been released yet the
two young women stood in stunned silence
before suddenly changing
their wish—may the
crown prince swiftly attain enlightenment
Thanks to that bowl of milk congee
the Bodhisattva's vitality quickly
returned his body grew strong and
his skin gleamed like golden light
In that moment he clearly saw
that the right path was the
Middle Way and he resumed
eating and drinking
in moderation
He begged for food once a day
Then He descended to bathe
in the Nairanjana River
and made a great vow
The bowl floated upstream
en sinking down signaling that vows will be fulfilled the Bodhisattva
turns steadfastly toward the bodhi
tree awakening the great vow even
if blood dries up and tendons and bones wither
He vowed not to leave
his seat until attaining
the supreme unsurpassed perfect enlightenment
After 49 days and nights of meditation
he attained the threefold knowledge
achieved the six supernatural powers
and became completely liberated
From there the Buddha unveiled the Middle Way teaching
sentient beings to transcend
the two extremes—excessive
indulgence and severe self-mortification—both of
which lead to spiritual decay and physical destruction
Only the balanced path of body mind and
intellect leads to true enlightenment
the event of the Buddha's awakening
opened the way to
liberation from suffering
Among all things and from this very point the human body is clearly
established—not as something
to be tortured but as a precious spiritual
instrument through which the Dao becomes manifest
In this life
Stepping into the year of
dual harmony the atmosphere
not only affects externally but strikes directly
at the core of the individual overloading the nervous system and placing greater strain on the heart
It gets hotter not
less exhausting and when
the body is weary the mind finds it hard
to settle When the mind is unsettled the path
becomes nothing but theory Many people
In times of turmoil one doesn't
collapse from a major disaster but slowly
crumbles from irregular eating chaotic
sleep and prolonged stress unnoticed
Caring for this body is not for indulgence but to protect the path of
practice thus during this
year of harmonious peace nurturing the body
properly does not require anything extraordinary
Eat with balance to reduce
bodily heat and calm the mind
sleep more soundly since lack
of sleep not only
tires the body
and also weaken the ability to maintain
mindfulness—walking more breathing more
deeply spending more
time in nature allowing
the nervous system to be far from stress
o remind the body of the natural rhythm it
was born to live in to blend back
into the flow of life—not everyone who studies
Buddhist teachings finds
the true path ahead
Only those who truly value their
human life can go
far without a steady
spirit and a clear mind the path
cannot endure And in a year
such as 2026
Maintaining this body in safety and stability is
itself preserving one of the
greatest blessings in life
The fourth point: Saving
lives cannot be achieved
through emotion alone—it
only helps within one's
capacity Dear audience there
is a very common paradox
that arises during periods of intense upheaval
The more chaotic it becomes the
more people yearn to be heroes
chaos often gives rise to what
Xiao Yueza calls
the "hero complex "
Whenever I see someone suffering I feel compelled to
bear their burden whenever I see something wrong I feel
driven to correct it whenever I witness injustice I instantly rush in to act—so if
I don’t step forward who will
e world would collapse
But the truth
is chillingly simple
Many fall not
because they are evil
but because they
have not properly
practiced the way the Buddha
taught so clearly without wisdom
suffering becomes mere suffering
Saving someone when
the mind is already
agitated isn't true rescue—it only adds
to the turmoil Bearing suffering while
still unsettled within isn't sacrifice
but rather pulling oneself down into
the same pit in the scriptures the Buddha never taught
that one must plunge
into all suffering to prove kindness
He taught clearly recognizing one's own capacity
knowing one's limits knowing
when to advance and when to
retreat modern science on the other hand states plainly
that prolonged emotional intensity becomes excessive
will cause the nervous system to collapse
When the nervous system
collapses a person will react
excessively make
poor decisions
and say things that hurt others
Righteousness is
ultimately futile—instead of
saving anyone it only leaves behind more ruin
Not everyone has
the fortune to bear
another's suffering
Here is the story
of a layperson who wished to save an entire village A lesson in kindness
There are no limits
Esteemed listeners
In the Samyukta Agama Sutra
the Buddha once mentioned
a lay follower with an exceptionally kind heart
He was neither greedy
for life nor seeking
fame but seeing the
suffering
of the world
Epidemics and unrest
prevailed yet the layperson
stepped forward to manage everything—feeding
the hungry fetching medicine for the sick
and bearing the burdens of those in distress
At first he used his own assets
when those ran out he sold his
fields and gardens once those were
gone he borrowed money everywhere
Just the simple thought
that as long as the villagers
suffer less it doesn't matter
if we endure a little more
The villagers were moved everyone praising
him as a man of Bodhisattva compassion whose
rare kindness shone brightly in a troubled world Yet what the
scriptures record is this:
very direct very real—soon after
things began to drift off course his
family fell into
hardship and his wife
grew anxious complaining constantly
Debt piled up leaving him unable
to sleep peacefully
—once a joyful
giver he now gives with growing
anxiety until exhaustion sets in
He no longer had the
strength to endure
any more those who had once been helped
began to complain and reproach him when
they were no longer assisted as before
And at that very moment a sense
of reproach arose in his heart He
began to think I'
ve done so much for
them—why don't they understand me
The initial compassion gradually turns into
resentment sacrifice once
voluntary becomes a burden
When the matter was
brought to His attention
He neither reprimanded nor praised He
simply uttered a brief piercing remark that
struck directly at the root of the issue
One who hasn't measured
themselves cannot
possibly measure others it's no different
from someone who can't swim plunging
into a raging current to save another
The true meaning of the
monk's words was not
to criticize the good deed but to point out
the flaw in the manner of performing it—this
layperson had intention but lacked wisdom
Having good intentions but lacking discipline
having kind thoughts
but no inner strength
therefore such kindness
does not lead to liberation
but instead creates another cycle of suffering
Similarly there
is the story of
the farmer who rescued a snake— when kindness is
misplaced Ladies
and gentlemen in the Green Book
elling of a farmer on his
way home who saw a venomous
snake trapped and shivering
from cold and hunger
This person felt compassion thinking
that although it was a guardian
species at this
moment it was suffering
moved by a hidden sense of empathy
The boy placed the snake against his chest
to warm it hoping to save it from the
critical danger but as soon as the snake
began to recover its vicious nature resurfaced
He turned and bit
the very one who had
saved him the story
ends with a clear
teaching from the Buddha: compassion
if misplaced can become destructive
Not only failed to save the person but
also brought misfortune upon themselves
What matters most is that the
Buddha did not
criticize the farmer's
compassion but pointed to something
deeper: kindness without wisdom
From then on that thought became
suffering—being compassionate yet failing
to see the truth unaware of one's
own limits thus only harming oneself
Saving someone when the
mind is not yet steady
and the wisdom not yet
clear is not true rescue
in Buddhist teachings this serves as a warning
about compassion lacking the eye of wisdom
The Buddha taught on many occasions that
compassion is not about rushing into all
suffering a practitioner must not sacrifice
mindfulness in order
to demonstrate kindness
There are beings who in
certain circumstances cannot be
saved by mere compassion thus
the fundamental teaching arises
Compassion must go hand in
hand with wisdom otherwise that
compassion itself becomes a burden and a source of harm
Helping others is
also a form of karma
and such karma demands corresponding
inner strength help only when the
mind is calm for
when the mind is calm
New speech does not
harm others new actions
do not create karma When the mind is
agitated retreat inward to protect yourself
—guard your body firmly
keep your mind clear
It's not avoidance but the bare minimum responsibility
toward oneself and the
circumstances one currently holds
In the year of the fire the wise do
not strive to be heroes but only to
avoid becoming victims of their
own well-intentioned
yet unwise kindness
The fifth thing humanity had
to do to survive the great
calamity was to
maintain a moral
compass so as not
to lose itself
Ladies and gentlemen during the
year of the dual
fire the greatest
danger is not external upheaval
but inner turmoil When fire
The tides of history rise
swiftly those without an
inner compass easily fall
into a silent dangerous state
That's doubt in everything yet blind faith in
everything everything sounds right when heard
everything seems logical
when followed and finally
one drifts off course
without even realizing it
Today's truth gets swept aside
tomorrow for another
the heart has
no fixed foundation living without
knowing on what ground it stands
In Buddhist terminology this is called "
mind without reliance
"—a mind that depends
on nothing thus wherever the wind of karma
blows it simply drifts in that direction
Thus in times of
turmoil preserving a
moral compass is more important than
learning a hundred new things a moral
compass need not be lofty or esoteric
You don't need to
follow grand doctrines or complex practices
enlightenment
can be as simple as the Buddhist
teachings you genuinely believe in
and consistent practice
is a small spiritual
discipline yet doing it
every day means adhering
to a few principles of life I've chosen
and not letting go even amid chaos For example
Speak no harsh
words even when rage
surrounds you do not act against
your conscience even for immediate
gain never sacrifice inner peace
o gain a momentary sense of
humility just one day in the
briefest instant I still
clearly remember
what I live for
I'm following which direction
That's enough
A person with a moral compass isn't someone who never wavers
but someone who wavers yet remains grounded
Fire may test waves may strike yet
the landmark remains
therefore when
a path is established peace after conflict is no longer
a death sentence
It's just a test to
see what's truly within
you and what's
merely temporary clinging
And whoever passes through is permitted
to try it stepping into a different level of existence—less stable less
chaotic but far deeper
and much more solid
and esteemed listeners
in the scriptures
the Venerable Rahula has a single
guiding principle
to avoid straying off
course—specifically in the Sutra of Rahula
The monastic rules found in
the Middle Length Discourses
The Buddha taught his son
the monk Rahula
through a very simple yet profoundly wise teaching
He taught no lofty philosophy
spoke not of cosmic cycles or
intricate practices—He simply
said before speaking reflect
deeply
Before acting reflect
after acting reflect
three times—this is
the central axis of the
path The Buddha understood this clearly:
for young people for those new to practice
Those who live amidst chaos if they
lack a guiding principle to reflect upon
themselves are easily swayed by rumors
follow the crowd and
act on fleeting emotions
en justifying all their deviations on their own behalf
He did not demand
that La Hầu La become a
saint immediately He
only asked that the
moral axis not be lost and that axis is
whether something
brings benefit or harm
Whether the mind remains unsettled or not
depends solely on maintaining that central
axis no matter where one is amidst praise
and criticism turmoil
and commotion La Hầu La
And never lose yourself
— this is precisely
the spirit taught by the Buddha: you don 't
need to know every teaching just don't
lose sight of your fundamental principle
In Thuy Huong Wu
Song appears as
a figure greatly admired by the
people—upholding righteousness despising wealth and
detesting villains
Refusing to bow before power slaying
the demon on Bone Branch Hill avenging
his brothers ridding the people of
harm each act shining
with righteousness
of a person with moral integrity—yet
upon closer inspection Wu Song possesses
only righteous spirit lacking an inner
moral compass to guide
and reflect himself
His sense of justice is not based on an unchangeable principle but on
his emotions at the
moment of action
when circumstances are favorable
That spirit turned him into a hero
hailed by the people remembered by
history but when circumstances turned
against him when pressed to the wall
Betrayed the righteous spirit
turns into murderous intent
He extended his hand not out of
malice but because
he didn't know when
to stop lacking any inner boundary to
ask himself where to draw the line
Whether coming this far is enough
Is this action crossing the line of morality
This is the point
where Wu Song's tragedy lies
He never wanted to become a brutal man
But each time anger
surged he let it control
him when anger flared
he acted out of injustice
Using violence to inflict harm then
repaying with blood—
not because you are evil
but because you lack
a moral compass to
hold yourself steady In times of chaos
Those without an inner moral compass
easily confuse righteousness with revenge justice
with anger self-
protection with
destruction of others
And once off the path every
subsequent action—
no matter
how well -intentioned—gradually pushes
people farther away from the light
One must learn martial arts not just for
life's sake but to understand that kindness alone is not enough passion alone is not
enough and righteousness
alone is not enough
Without a clear moral compass
in times of chaos the very
qualities once
admired in us may
become forces that pull us down
She descends deeper
Holding a steady course
Not to become weak
But to know when to stop at the right moment
Knowing how to keep from slipping away from the other
I want to become
Clause 6
Maintain a steady mind
without letting the inner self be swayed by external circumstances
In Buddhism
the Buddha taught clearly
the mind is the master
Mind leads all phenomena all
human actions words and decisions
originate from a thought in
the mind yet energy science
In other words each person's
mental framework determines
how they perceive interpret
and respond to
the same event
The same situation can appear
as a threat to one person an
opportunity to another anger
to a third and
calm to a fourth
To perceive the whole picture
it's not due to external
circumstances changing but because the mind observing
them has transformed Entering the year of dual harmony
the outer environment is not only shifting in events
and even more so in terms of collective psychological
mood a harmonious atmosphere
will trigger very instinctive reactions
in people making anger flare up easily
Judgments easily provoke
Panic spreads as swiftly as fire in the wind
In such circumstances
many remain untouched by the turmoil
A large group of nuns swept away by
constant small reactions—each day more
irritated each day the
yard more cluttered
each day more hatred more distrust
Hasty conclusions once
again just as yesterday—and
somehow without notice
inner turmoil had taken root
The person who maintains inner integrity is not
someone who breathes
indifferently emotionally detached
or fleeing from life but one who ensures their
inner self remains aligned with the external world
They don’t rush to take sides when
information is still chaotic don’t jump to
conclusions without seeing all the
circumstances and don’t rush into resentment
The collective emotion was running high
yet they allowed themselves to pause for a
breath to gather themselves and stand
upright before words and actions were formed
In the scriptures the Buddha
did not teach disciples
to react swiftly to every situation but rather
to avoid clinging to each arising thought for
even a single thought
astray can lead to deviation
You might drift off course
for a lifetime but with
just one upright thought even amidst the fiercest
storm you won't lose your way Thus maintain an
upright mind within the
harmony of the five elements
It's not a lofty tale—
It's the apprenticeship of life
Knowing when to stop before the waves rise
Knowing when to stay silent before passing judgment
Knowing when to return
Shift your focus inward rather
than merely pointing out others'
flaws Those who accomplish this
aren't stronger than anyone else
Yet because they do not betray
their own hearts as the ancient
saying goes: a pure heart remains
upright no matter where one stands
No matter how chaotic the outside world becomes she
always manages to hold on
to her own sense of direction
Article 7
is also the final principle
Observing the precepts
is not for self-righteousness
but to protect oneself
Esteemed listeners
During peaceful years
Keeping precepts is often misunderstood
as something only monks are
concerned with a sign of virtue or
merely a formal or idealistic practice
But entering an era of great upheaval
the monastic life is no longer a symbol
of spiritual cultivation
but has become a safe brake for everyday existence
Buddhist teachings view things very directly:
when external conditions are chaotic karma
is easily triggered a
single wrong thought can set off
an entire chain of cause and effect
But by the time the fruit ripens
there's no way back thus observing
precepts during turbulent times
isn't about proving oneself noble
but to avoid putting oneself in danger one
must refrain from idle talk—not out of fear of losing merit but because words spoken
during times of chaos
can easily ignite flames
Speaking recklessly exaggerating or acting
on collective emotion
can easily bring trouble
upon oneself getting entangled in gossip legal
issues or public scrutiny is all too possible
Whenever unaware
Next comes non-involvement
because in times of chaos
traps are always ready
quick gains easy money
Once-in-a-lifetime opportunities often come with
risks beyond what one
can reasonably bear—ambition blurs
the line and the line remains blurred
en the footsteps slip easily
Next comes the lack of a proper court
because the real court is absent
making matters worse like pouring oil on fire
There are those who
suffer no harm from anyone
by burning oneself with prolonged anger
by grinding one's mind into exhaustion
by refusing to let go of relentless tension
Wednesday no false promises
because when society is in turmoil
deviant paths to survival
will inevitably lead to collective consequences
Getting caught up in it isn't just
ot only their own business but
also the broader industry's upheaval
Behavioral Science refers to all
of the above as risk self-regulation
owing one's limits
knowing when to stop
knowing how to avoid certain behaviors
that could trigger chain reactions
From a Buddhist perspective
Nguyệt referred to it as evading
karmic triggers observing precepts
ultimately means preserving a way out
safeguarding one's body speech and mind
Staying on the safe path
while the world remains in awe
Therefore In times of turmoil
Upholding one's boundaries is preserving one's life
It's not just about life and death but
about preserving lasting peace and well
-being for this life
and all future lives
Only those who truly understand this
will not view gender as a
burden but rather as a protective
barrier to cross
through the trials
of fire without harming oneself
Dear everyone please be
kind to yourselves for the
fire of 2026 in the end is
not meant to
frighten anyone
Not to make us live in fear and
anxiety but rather as a great
test of our era—testing who still
holds onto their core values
Who still knows how to return to the
realm of body mind and spirit Who still
has enough clarity to not lose
themselves before
everything truly erupts
What Tiều Nguyệt shares today
is not a secret to avoiding misfortune
nor a shortcut to surpassing others
It’s simply a set of very old principles
Has been repeatedly emphasized by
ancient wisdom in sacred texts and today the light of modern science
further illuminates
its enduring value
Reduce noise to preserve the body nourish
the body to uphold the path keep the mind
upright to avoid deviation and observe
precepts to cultivate and protect oneself
Prepare your rear guard so
you won't fall and above all
maintain a clear life axis amid
the turbulent currents of time
Tiều Nguyệt also wishes to say from the
heart that these things are not what
she has fully accomplished but rather
what she strives for each and every day
Because Tiều Nguyệt is still learning
still fixing taking one small step
at a time sometimes steady sometimes
wobbling but never wanting to let go
The only difference today was that on
that path Tiều Nguyệt now had the dear
friend Hiếu beside her listening together
reflecting together walking side by side
If harmony is the test may we
not only survive
it but live more
deeply more fully awake and more
authentically true to ourselves
Tiều Nguyệt wishes you dear
friend Hiếu a journey through
2026 not driven by fear but
by wisdom and a
heart at peace
So that the fire remains
only light—turning the path no longer a flame lacking
the burning of one's own life
Sometimes just pausing
for a moment is
enough to see how
many profound truths
lie hidden in what seems like a simple
ordinary life Xiao Yue thanks you
you have chosen to pause here
together to gently lose yourselves and
to share common concerns on the
journey of practice amid everyday life
