Join me as we try out a Michelin Restaurant located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This restaurant specializes in Cơm tấm, a popular broken rice Vietnamese dish, our adventure is followed by some delightful matcha :) #hochiminhcity
Hey guys, join me today as we check out this very popular spot in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
It is a Michelin star restaurant and it's called Cơm Tấm Bài Giang.
It is very popular as it specializes in Cơm Tấm specifically, which is a Vietnamese
Some of the other sides they offer are these really nice soups.
I think I was just gonna get the Cơm Tấm specifically but my fiancé chose to try one of the soups.
And there are also some smoothies if you're in the mood for something sweet.
But of course, you know we have to get chả đá and here is our meal.
We're about to dig in and share our experience with you.
So we ended up ordering the Cơm Tấm for both of us because we wanted to have a little bit of everything.
Unfortunately, it was just so loud. So I'm gonna do my voice over here.
Tôn also ordered the soup. So here we are with my order. You can see how big the portion size is.
So my dish comes with a meatball and also some white rice.
There's a fried egg and here's bee which is basically like pork skin.
There's also some vegetables and pickled vegetables.
And here in the back is the chả chưng which is a combination of an egg custard with steamed pork.
And there's also more pork in the back.
You can see that it's actually really good quality the meat.
When I can eat it, I can tell that it's well made.
And here I am adding some fish sauce for some more flavor.
Overall, it was a really good meal and we can see why it earned its Michelin star.
Very well deserved and worth checking out.
And here's the aftermath. I definitely think this place is worth visiting.
You do get your money's worth. With my plate, I took it home to have a second meal.
And the quality of the food here is also really good.
So I think it's worth checking out if you're coming to Ho Chi Minh City.
After that, we went for a stroll and we stumbled upon this really cute shop
that also sold matcha and bubble tea.
So we went in to buy some matcha and some browsing.
One of my favorite things about Vietnam is how you can come across such
cute and adorable shops out of nowhere.
So yeah, overall, it was a great experience and I hope you guys enjoyed checking it out.
