Hello everyone, welcome back to my channel.
This week I really wanted to know how many steps were actually involved in my makeup
routine when I'm doing a full beat.
So I've already done my eyebrows and concealed around my eyebrows because this could take
some time and I thought, let's save at least 5 minutes of your time by doing this first.
I am going to tally it on this piece of paper with a lip liner, I thought it was very fitting.
Two strikes for concealing around the brows and doing my eyebrows.
Moisturiser, I'm going to include this purely because this is a step in my makeup that I
don't miss but it does mean we're already tallying up steps.
Okay next step is primer, I'm going to use this Kiko one, this is the peptide primer.
Look at the glow that that primer gives.
Moisturiser, primer, 4 down.
I'm going to go straight on to my eyes while my skincare kind of sets in.
I think I'm going to mix together these two shades.
Just add a bit of colour onto my eyelids.
Will I ever use a different eyeshadow palette?
I don't know, but today is not for that.
Today is just using what I love and seeing how many steps are involved.
Eyeshadow, right now a bit of winged eyeliner, eyeliner, and now I'm going to use my Kiko
felt tip eyeliner with like this beautiful nib.
I'm just going to line my upper lash line to darken and deepen this up and then clean
up with concealer.
Okay that constitutes the two steps, two.
Eight steps in.
I'm going to add some Kohl liner, I forgot a step in the eyeliner.
I'm not going to count this as a separate step because I should have done this before
I moved on to Kohl.
I'm going to do my inner corners.
I'm going to add one step for the Kohl liner in the eyeliner.
Okay and we're pretty much done with the eyes.
That doesn't feel too bad actually.
Can I just say I'm really not, I'm not messing with my hair.
I just thought it'd be quicker to do my natural hair than styling and blow drying it before
the video because I had really greasy hair, but the second it dried I was like, I've truly
fucked up.
I'm going to use the Gucci 24-hour foundation in the shade 13W and I'm going to mix that
with a tiny bit of my Angel Food from Huda Beauty, purely for colour, not too much because
I really want to maintain the finish of the Gucci foundation.
It's honestly, could be quite possibly my all-time ever favourite foundation ever, foundation.
Next is contour.
I'm going to use the Fenty contour stick in Amber.
I am in need of a new one of these.
I'm then going to take my Milk Touch cream bronzer and just add a tiny little bit of
this to kind of seamlessly blend all this together.
Wait, this is, sorry, pardon me.
This is not a cream bronzer, this is a foundation, but in quite a few shades too dark for me.
Cream contour, cream bronzer.
Cream blush.
I'm going to use this Rare Beauty in the shade Virtue.
I really like this.
These are awfully pigmented, in the best way, but also be careful.
I'm going to pop this onto my...
Then I'm going to go in with some cream highlighter.
This is the Too Faced Born This Way Super Glow.
I've been seeing this all over my view page recently.
I've really been enjoying it.
I have tested it and used it to see what the hype was about.
Honestly, it really reminds me of that Refined one, not necessarily in colour, but in texture.
It feels very similar.
Concealer, I'm going to use the Huda Beauty concealer.
I'm going to pop that on the back of my hand today.
Add this under my eyes.
I just realised, how many steps did I note down and how many did I not?
I think I need to do cream blusher, cream highlighter, and now concealer.
Cream blusher, cream highlight, concealer.
I'm going to go ahead and use my Emko Beauty pressed powder to do my first layer of powder.
I'm going to run that over the rest of my face too.
Now I'm going to put my loose powder on.
I'm going to use my Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer.
Nothing new there.
Look at that colour difference.
Oopsies.
I'm going to have to put some fake tan on tonight.
I'm a ghost.
Ah!
Bronzer.
Contour time.
I'm going to use this Kaleidos contour colour.
Contour.
I'm going to use a little bit of this powder foundation before I go in and do my blusher.
Now I'm going in with some blusher.
This is Flirt Alert and this is in the shade Flame Emoji from Kiko.
This is their Valentine's collection.
I'm going to take this lighter shade on my cheek.
Okay, next.
This is the Buttermilk highlighter from NYX.
This is really good if you're a fair babe because it doesn't pull grey.
I think I've said this before but I'm also going to add that into my inner corners.
Blusher and highlighter now, right?
Blusher.
Highlighter.
We're 19 steps in.
Lip liner.
I'm actually going to try these Nude Clinique ones that I've got.
Quick liner.
This is in the shade Nude Honey which I thought was spectacular.
I done the lips such a chronic injustice that I've had to reapply.
I'm going to also add a little bit of Colour Corrector Pink into these lips.
Lips.
Oh, lip liner.
Colour Corrector.
Now back in with our eyeliner.
I'm going to create my mini double lashes.
Mascara.
This is the Maybelline Body Mascara.
I'm really, really, really, really enjoying this.
It has saved me in my Dior volumizing mascara dry spell which actually reminds me I need
to really repurchase that.
I have a whole list of products that I need to repurchase for the summertime.
Lower lash mascara.
This is the Flower Nose in Chestnut.
Mascara.
Lower lash mascara.
Add in my Kohl lower lash line.
Pixi Vitamin C Spray.
Hold up the lashes while it dries.
Brow gel.
This is the NYX Brow Glue by the way.
Setting Mist.
Brow gel.
I'm going to add the Clinique Nude Honey Balm over the top of this too.
Balm.
I think it's literally one more step and that is one more layer of powder for me.
Final layer of powder.
And our grand total is 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 28.
And there we have it.
That is my makeup routine and how many steps there is.
So it turns out I have 28 steps in my makeup routine.
Which honestly seems pretty feasible actually.
This is the look that I managed to create with the 28 products.
I hope you guys enjoyed this week's video.
This was quite a fun video to film and now I'm glad to know that I have 28 products in my routine.
I will catch you next week for another video.
Don't forget to like and subscribe.
I think that's everything.
Deuces!
