What better way to get hitched than to do it Philly style?

It's a place where we have so many memories. It's sentimental to us because my dad used
to work here as a security guard at Reading Terminal Market. He passed two years ago,
so it's hard too just to not have his presence but I feel like he had a hand in us being here.
To love, honor, and keep in sickness and in health. I do. Beautiful. Married at the Market
was born last year and this is our second year doing it on Valentine's Day and welcome to the
Reading Terminal Market. I am a merchant and a happy merchant here at the Reading Terminal Market
and my merchant stall is called Chef Beth's Kitchen. Since I've been initiated to become
an ordained minister a couple years ago, last year I brought up to the staff, hey why don't
we start marrying people at the market? I pledge my love now and forever. People requested all
year long once we did it last year. People were really involved and intrigued. Do you, Timothy,
take Julia to be your lawfully wedded partner? So the ceremony today is going to be an arch court.
It's pretty traditional. It's pretty light. It's pretty quick. At the yes.
We are also showcasing a lot of the merchants that take precious time out of their day to make
this event happen. To having to hold from this day forward as long as you both struggle. We've been
engaged now for two years and with being in med school and now in residency we really needed
something to kind of light a fire under us you know and this was perfect because they were looking
for spontaneous couples and here we are getting married today. So we keep on saying that we're
going to tell our kids anytime we're like we go to writing terminal that's where we got married.
So I think it'll be a long lasting memory. From this day forward as long as you both struggle.
They put up a form and we were like well what if we just enter and see what happens. Time for the
rings. A lot of stress came all at once because it was earlier in this month so it's like oh we gotta
we gotta move things along. Husband and wife. This is a long-standing part of failing like
for us to be a part of that I think it's really cool that this is part of our story now as well
as us being a part of the building story. After the ceremony we're totally going to pick up some
cannolis. It's so valentine's it's lovey-dovey it's beautiful and it's also a historic building so
there's no better place. Congratulations.
