Hi everyone, welcome back to my channel. I know I haven't uploaded in a minute but I'm
back and I'm here with another phone video which is one of my favourites to film and
very popular on the channel. So today I'm doing a customising my iPhone 17 Pro Max with me.
I've had the phone for months, I haven't done anything with it and I thought
it would be a good idea to film it with me doing it as well.
So I just started by changing my case. This case I bought from TK Maxx,
it's from the brand Poppy I believe and then I'm just giving you a quick tour of what my phone
currently looks like. Very plain background, nothing organised, really unorganised widgets
that I transferred from my previous phone I had. So I'm just starting by removing everything that
I don't want or just making it a clean slate so it's easier to start decorating with.
Then I just started going through all my apps and deleting and uninstalling apps I don't use
or that I just don't really need anymore just to make more space on my phone,
bring up my storage again and obviously just to make it a bit more organised.
Best place to find phone inspiration or really an inspiration for anything at all is Pinterest
which we all know is my best friend. So I headed over to Pinterest to make a new board for my phone
and then just find loads of images I want for my wallpaper, for widgets and all these other things
that I want on my phone. I decided to start with looking for wallpaper. I didn't really have a
theme in mind when doing my phone so I just kind of was scrolling until I found something that I like.
So really anything that I like to look of I just saved it to a board that I made for the phone
and then I was just going to choose from what I had. My initial plan was to choose a wallpaper
that matched the phone case of my phone like this image that's on screen now, like these kind of
they look quite similar but in the end I didn't really like it so I decided to go with something
else but that was my starting point. Next thing I did was I did see some inspiration like this,
just some like layouts and obviously I wasn't going to copy it but I was just kind of using
what kind of images they used that like matched the wallpaper and then the colour scheme. I knew
that I wanted to do pink, purple and like green because pink is my favourite colour and then I
also love the colour green and I feel like they match nicely and I knew I wanted it like florally
so I kind of just went with those and then some other random things in mind.
Very picky and precise with like images that I use for my wallpaper and my lock screen
and for widgets and things so I spent a long time, I've had to delete a lot of footage and
sweep up a lot of footage, me scrolling and scrolling finding things I like.
I liked a lot of things but I wanted it to actually look coherent and cohesive.
So now using the pictures that I got on Pinterest I'm just trying to find out which one I like the
best as a wallpaper, this is the one I think I ended up going with but I did go back and forth
between a few for a while just trying to see which one I think looked better and then would
go better with the widget because I like my lock screen and home screen to be the same a lot of the time.
I know iOS 26 has got a lot of mixed reactions and mixed opinions but I personally really like
it and I really like the liquid glass effect and I really wanted to make sure that I included that in
this video. So as you can see I'm just dragging my clock all the way down, you can only do it with
the basic clock unfortunately you can't use the other ones so you do have to have the most basic
one but I like the fact that you can use that and that is a feature that they've added.
Next I decided to go straight in with the widgets after I chose my wallpaper and lock screen. I'm
using this app Widgetify, I don't know if that's pronouncing it right but I've never seen this
before but I saw it on the app store when I was looking for some things to include in this video
and I just kind of went back and forth scrolling through the things to see what
accessories and widgets I can use that would match my vibe. I'm personally a very visual person and
I like to write things down so when I saw this to-do list I knew that I had to add it as a widget
to my home screen because when I see things it's when I remember things I have a really bad memory
so to-do list is perfect for me. So I just added a few things that I know I constantly always have
to be doing. Then really any other thing that I like the look of I just added it because I thought
it'd be cute and really matching the vibe but I really like this main camera, the to-do list,
the little music disc that spins around on your home screen which I thought was really cool.
A lot of the content I'm adding may seem really disorganized but I mean in hindsight it is but
to me this is like the perfect layout of things I need on my phone for me to be able to function
and remember things. So adding the date, the time even though obviously I can see the time at any
time but things like that just made it a lot easier for me to quickly use my phone because
you know when you turn your phone on and you forget what you're looking for like having all
these things kind of makes me be able to remember what I'm actually looking for and what I don't want
my phone to do. Another thing that I really love that they added is that you can change the colour
of the app's icons on your phone. You obviously could do it before but you couldn't just do it
through your phone a lot of the time and I like that you can also do the liquid glass effect so
I decided I took a long time picking a colour but I think I went with the purple in the end.
I kind of went here and there with what shade looks best with the wallpaper and what makes
the apps look good because some colours make it look a bit weird but I think I got a really good balance.
And then part of the final steps of me completing my phone and customising it
was to add all the widgets I'd made and all the images that I've added and downloaded from
Pinterest onto my phone and kind of find a layout that works for me. I like seeing the date and the
time immediately on my home screen so on the first screen when you open my phone that is what comes up
and then I made a mixture between small and medium widgets just to add some dimension to the pages.
It was kind of annoying because every time I'd organise a widget and I decided I wanted to add
another one it would reset the whole page so I had to do a lot of scrolling and holding on things and
tapping it until it would go into the place I like but it's kind of similar to how I had the layout
before a long time ago when I had done my phone but I just added a few things here and there.
Music is very important to me so I made sure I had a Spotify widget
things like that I just made sure that I had in addition to the ones I made on that app.
I am thinking of filming an updated what's on my phone as well as what's on my iPad and I want to
do the same video for my iPad for uni because that is what I used to take notes on so I feel like it
would be very helpful for me to do that but there's also loads of apps that I feel like would be very
helpful to other people like me and the day before is a really good countdown app that I
used as a widget it does take up a lot of space on the page but that's only because I chose that
widget personally. And here I am just quickly showing you the final outcome of the phone I'm
very happy with it and I think that it looks really cute. So thank you guys so much for
watching if you enjoyed the video give it a like and if the channel is subscribed that
will really help me out so much and I'll see you next time bye!
