Today we're at Epcot Festival of the Arts where the food is so pretty it feels illegal to eat,
which is unfortunate because that's our entire plan. We're trying the most beautiful bites and
drinks, but do they taste as good as they look? This is one of our favorite Disney festivals,
partly because we love art. We love checking out the art, watching artists paint in real time.
In bold move, we might even try to create our own art. Why don't you come with us on this adventure?
As you guys know, Festival of the Arts is our favorite food festival here at Epcot.
Not only is the food amazing and colorful, but there's tons of art and we can't wait.
First up, we made our way over here to Deconstructed Dish. This is where they have
the Deconstructed Key Lime Pie. This is key lime curd, key lime jelly, toasted meringue,
and graham cracker crumbs with a waffle cone triangles. And we've had the Deconstructed
Key Lime Pie before, but they totally changed it this year. And now it's more of like a dip,
I think you scoop the waffle pieces into the key lime pie mixture there.
Yeah, this is always one of our favorite booths to go to because
of how they deconstruct classic dishes. Yeah, it's so much fun. And I'm surprised
that they changed it up this year. It's still a key lime pie, but it's a different presentation.
Peter was saying that these waffle cones look like the Epcot symbol.
This is totally unexpected. I think it's the meringue on there. To me,
this tastes more like a lemon meringue. Like you could kind of taste the lime.
But to me, like literally just tastes like a lemon meringue pie. And then the waffle pieces,
you know, they're pretty basic. They don't add much to it. I wish they gave you more because
like this is such a big portion of this meringue. But I guess you just need to get like a big old
scoop. If you're a meringue lover like me, you're definitely gonna like this. I probably give it
like a four out of five. Yeah, I'm not sure if it was the color that was throwing me off. But
it tastes like lemon more than it tastes like wine. But it was still good. Also pro tip,
you're going to want to pick up your Festival of the Arts little passport foodie guide here,
which shows you all the different booths that shows you everything that's going on. But most
importantly, they have this thing called the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine, which is
different items that qualify for a little stamp. And once you get five stamps, you get a
completer festival treat. So you get like a free treats. I just happened to get one with that
deconstructed key lime pie. I don't think we're gonna like go for the treat this time around. But
like pro tip, if you want like a free treat, definitely do this. Next up, we're going to the
Odyssey. This is where you can find Figman's Inspiration Station. It's decked out completely
with a rainbow tunnel. And this is also where you can get the Figman popcorn bucket. Looks like he's
a painter this year. But I got myself the popcorn popcorn chicken and waffles. This comes with
Everything here is colorful. And that's exactly what I love about Festival of the Arts is like,
it's all about the presentation and making it look cool. This item is strange. Very strange.
Yeah, but it looks cool. It does look cool. Okay, so do I eat everything at once?
I think you need to get a bite with the cheese, the chicken and the popcorn.
Oh my god, look, the cheese even has like food coloring on it. Or maybe it just came from the
popcorn. I don't know. Who is the person that thought that popcorn and popcorn chicken would
go together? Figment. Well, they were right. It's actually surprisingly good. I think what
brings it together is that maple syrup. The I will say that the waffle is kind of tiny,
look at this. Oh, careful. Oh, yeah, you're right. Deceiving. Yeah, it's very deceiving.
So the value for your money is really not there. But you get like a cool Instagram photo.
And surprisingly good. I'd give it like a four to five years. Wow. So we went a little crazy in
there. And we ordered pretty much everything on the menu because all looks so cool. But the thing
I really wanted to try is the figment fantasy cake. This is a sponge cake filled with strawberry
whipped cream topped with white chocolate ganache, orange icing and a white chocolate
figment wings on there. And it is so freaking cute. Hopefully it tastes good. But look at it.
It's a lot of purple food dye, purple and orange food dye, but
who cares? This is very simple, but it's actually very delicious. It reminds me of like when I was
a kid, me and my mom used to make this strawberry cake. It was just like a boxed cake. Have you guys
ever had that? Do they still make that? I don't even know. This is kind of what it reminds me of
like strawberries, a dominant flavor, I think because of the icing. It's nothing like fancy.
It's not gonna like blow your mind, but it actually tastes good. And I'm shocked because
it's cute and it tastes good. I'm gonna give it a four out of five and I had to get myself the
color scheme cake. This is a fruit flavored rainbow hued cake topped with freeze dried
sour and regular Skittles. And it looks so pretty, right? I like all the colors.
Question is what color will my poop be tomorrow? Gross. Okay, here we go. Let's uh
cut into this. Sometimes things just look pretty and don't taste as good as they look. And I think
this is the case. The cake is just like a basic fruit flavored cake, like a fruit punch kind of
flavor. But then you put those freeze dried Skittles on top, it gives it a nice crunch,
but like it doesn't go together. It's just like, I think it makes it look better than it actually
makes it taste. I'm gonna give it like a two out of five Peters. And I think that's being generous
because. A two because you're gonna go number two and it's gonna be a bunch of colorful colors.
Which color? Oh my god. This is a food video, we can't be talking like that. Red five is the color.
Oh, okay. I also saw that they had a bunch of hard ciders there. And the one that caught my eye
is the Three Daughters Brewing Strawberry Banana Hard Cider. I don't know what I was expecting,
but I was expecting it to be like pink, but it just looks like a normal cider. But they also
had like a flight. I think they had an orange one, like a black cherry one. And then this one,
but I decided to get this one. It really does taste like a strawberry banana. Like it tastes
like a strawberry banana smoothie, like melted down. And then you can still kind of taste the
apple of the cider. I kind of wish I got the flight though because like they all sounded so
good. This is the perfect way to wash down that Skittles cake with a super sweet cider. It is
very sweet. It's not dry at all. So one of our favorite things that they do at this festival
is they have this thing called the Chalk Walk and basically artists come and they make chalk art on
the sidewalk here. And it is absolutely awesome to see. We actually got to see them in action today
and it's so cool to watch them because I could never create something like this. They're actually
like blending the colors in with like with their fingers and it's so vibrant and like beautiful.
And it's just like really cool to witness, but I'm kind of sad because it like rained recently
and it looks like it might've like erased a lot of the art that was here, but it just gives, you
know, another artist an opportunity to come here and make something again. And we saw someone making
a Navi. It looks like they were working on Darth Vader. And also what was the other one? Oh,
we saw Carl and Ellie from Up. So that was really cool. Next up, we're going to the Craftsman's
Courtyard. This is where they have the Beef Wellington inspired Croissant Supreme. This
comes with a Creamed Spinach Croissant Pinwheel with Mushroom Gorgonzola, Mustard Grilled Flank
Steak, Red Wine Sauce, and Pickled Mustard Seeds. It is so windy here today. We're here where it is
like 40, 50 degrees here at Epcot. Rarely happens. Anyways, this thing looks like it's going to be
hard to cut into, but I'm going to try. Especially without a table. I don't even have a trash can
anywhere. There's no trash cans. What the heck? I don't know how I'm going to do this. There goes
the monorail. Okay, so Peter put his food down here. Cut it down here. Oh my god, that mustard
sauce is so flavorful. The meat is cooked perfectly. And then you got a little bit of
the crispy croissant, which is like soaking up the sauce. Very rich, very rich. And they decided to
add some spinach in there to make it healthy, right? That makes it healthy. I'm gonna give it a
five out of five. Oh wow. Yeah, I like this quite a bit. I think this might be too rich for a catcher.
I'm curious. This is so stupid. We should have found a table. I know. We really should. I feel like the
dominant flavor here is that gorgonzola like mushroom sauce on top. It is so rich. You are
right. It is like very overpowering, but like it just tastes so good. And I think this spinach is
necessary. Like it adds some flavor there. Ordinary adventure star. This is the best thing that we've
had all day so far. We also got the coffee old-fashioned cocktail. This has a Joffrey
cold brew coffee, simple syrup, orange bitters, and Jim Beam Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey.
Now listen, I have a hot take here. I've had cold brew every day of our trip so far, the Joffrey's
cold brew, and I don't like it. It's so sour and it's so bitter. So hearing that this is made with
Joffrey's cold brew like actually kind of concerns me. Maybe if it's mixed with whiskey, it'll taste
better. Who knows? I feel like this is me and you in a drink because you're coffee and I'm old-fashioned.
Oh, this is good. This makes that Joffrey's cold brew actually tolerable. It does have some kind of
like sugar or sweetness in there. I'm gonna give it like a four out of five. I'm like pleasantly
surprised by this. I was a little bit nervous, but this pairs well, very good with that beef wellington.
The one thing I love that they do every year here at Festival of the Arts is they have this thing
called expression section where you get some paint, you get a paintbrush, and you actually get to help
make the art here. And everybody paints little squares and then it makes a wonderful work of art
at the end. Yeah, it's basically a giant paint by numbers. Yeah, so we get to paint six squares
and she did say be careful it is permanent paint. So I'm a bit nervous because I never wear light
colors and just knowing me I'm going to spill this all over myself, but I think we got this. Okay,
here we go. All right, I'm doing this whole line right here.
Oh, wow, I did a really bad job. It's like barely inside of the squares.
Oh, no. Okay, we'll make it nice. We'll make it nice. Oh, okay, they're all sixes. It's fine.
I'd be worried if there wasn't more sixes around here, but we did it. Okay, to the artist.
Listen, don't be jealous. Don't get this on you. Be careful. So once you're done,
they give you this like bookmark that shows you what the final painting is going to be. And this
one's actually really cool because it's all the different festivals at Epcot. So it has
farts, it has flowering garden, it has food and wine, and then it has festival of the holidays,
which I love. They're all represented here. I'm like trying to figure out which part of it I did
and I really couldn't tell you but I'm sure it's going to turn out great. I've always wondered
what happens to these paintings after they're finished because apparently they finish one every
three days. I actually asked the cast member, they say that most of them get donated to hospitals,
like children's hospitals. Oh, that's cool. They put them up as like a mural. Oh, I would love to
have this in our house. I don't know where we'd fit it. Like how would you fit this? This is so
humongous. But that is very cool. So another one of our favorite booths here is called Pop Eats.
They always have like the grilled cheese and tomato soup and this year they have a croque
monsieur inspired grilled cheese. This has black forest ham, gruyere cheese, and a bechamel sauce
served with the tomato soup and it's always kind of fun. They give you like this really cute little
tin and this year it has figma on it. I feel like this could be a fun souvenir, although I don't
know how you'd like clean it out and like carry it with you all day. They just do such a good
job theming at this festival. They make everything look so pretty and so nice. Even like the booth
itself. Did you see how it was decorated? Like there was like props on it and paint brushes and
stuff. I just think that's really cool. But I'm excited to try this because when we went to Paris
we fell in love with the croque monsieur. It's basically just like a grilled cheese with ham
in it. Look at that. It's like a big piece of grilled cheese too for the price. Okay,
so should I dip it first or try it by itself? Okay. This is so buttery and greasy and fantastic.
It doesn't quite taste to me like a croque monsieur. It just tastes like a really good
grilled cheese with some ham shoved in it, but I'm not complaining. I almost feel like you don't
even need the soup, but it's so chilly today that like it feels nice to have just something warm.
Usually when you come to like these Epcot festivals it's like 100 degrees and humid
and like you never want to eat anything warm, but it's like hitting the spot today. I'm not
sure if you guys know this, but we love pop culture art. We have art all over our walls
and we especially love Star Wars art and artist Rob Kaz has a cool selection of Star Wars art here
and specifically Star Wars Galaxy's Edge. He has two pieces. I think I like the one with the
Millennium Falcon flying over Black Spire Outpost the most. Yeah, that took me a second. I didn't
realize it was Galaxy's Edge at first and then once I saw it I was like, oh we need to get that.
Yeah, I think I might need to pick that up. But I love his art because not only does he have a
bunch of cool Star Wars art, but he has a bunch of like animal art and they almost look like Disney
characters because they're super cute with like really big eyes. They look like a Pixar character
and I love all of it. Like I want every single one of them. I think my favorite is the one with
the manatee and the ducks above the water looking down at it. Yeah, I like the one of like the
alligator like below the water. They're all so good. A bunch of Disney inspired art as well.
He has so much. I think my favorite is he has a series of maps of the Walt Disney World parks,
but they're in this like illustrated style. Although Magic Kingdom is going to have to
be updated in a couple years because it still has the Rivers of America. Another one that I really
like is they have Figment flying around Spaceship Earth and Dream Finders flying over Epcot.
That's cool. And then he has a series with Daisy and Donald and it's basically me and Ketra after
a long day at the parks. One of my favorite artists is a guy named JC Richard and he does
this wonderful atmospheric paintings of places and he debuted a series here at this festival
of Walt Disney World parks and the one that I absolutely love is his Epcot one because it has
the monorail going in front of Spaceship Earth and has a guy that looks almost like our friend
Adam the Woo waving at the monorail. I know I really want to buy all four of these so we could
have all four parks but you're right the Epcot one is my favorite too and that's one 100% Adam
the Woo. Just looking up at the monorail watching it go by like doesn't it look like him like I
feel like it's him. All he needs is like a little camera in his hand filming it. I know I wish he
had a little Osmo pocket. Yeah we should get it and then like print out a little Osmo pocket and
like stick it on the art. But he also has a like series of world showcase places but with the
characters in them and originally when he debuted it online the picture I thought they
were gonna be like small. I know they're really big. But they're pretty cool as well. It's called art
look it up. So many figments. I'm debating if I want to buy that huge Epcot canvas but if I bought
it how would we even get it home? I know that's the problem. I wish we were locals here dang it.
Maybe they ship. I don't know. We'd like to thank Oura Frames for sponsoring this portion of today's
video. You know how your phone is basically a museum of 9,000 photos that you'll never look
at again? Yeah same. That's why we love Oura Frames. Any given day on my phone you'll find

the best gift. So go check them out and now back to our adventure. So next up we've made our way
over to the Fictional Victuals booth and this is themed after Alice in Wonderland. So they have a
bunch of different Alice inspired treats. The one that I'm going to try is called the tea treat.
This is earl grey tea chocolate pot of cream with a lemon madeleine cookie, rose and raspberry jam,
and a tea biscuit crumble. And it looks like a little teacup or like half of a teacup and it's
made out of chocolate. So this is a nice dark chocolate and it mixes well with the earl grey
cream in there but if you are not a fan of earl grey tea I don't think you'll like this.
And then mixed with kind of like the rose raspberry it's just like a lot of strong flavors
all together and Peter I think he would absolutely hate this. Who knew that Mickey Mouse liked the
same color as you? He's got the same phone case as you. That neon green. We finally made our way over
to the Mexico booth and I got a tostada. This is a crispy corn tortilla topped with guacamole,
plum crab, mango, crispy onions, and hot sauce. That sounds like the perfect tostada to me. Like a
big mound of crab on there which is awesome but like also looks very messy. Remember when we went
to Mexico for the first time when we went to Ensenada on a cruise and we got that like amazing
seafood tostada? Yeah. This isn't as good as that but it kind of reminds me of it because I love the
hot sauce on there and it has so much like guacamole and then the mango and the crispy
onions mixed in with the the crab is just a flavor explosion in my mouth. This might be one of the
best things that we've had all day in my opinion. I feel like the Mexico booth like always has good
stuff. Those are like the crispy onions like in Thanksgiving that you put on the green bean
casserole but better because it seems like they fry them like themselves here. Five out of five.
I know Peter won't like it but you guys just got to trust me this gets the Ordinary Adventure star.
Peter just doesn't like seafood so we're not even going to let him try it but this is delicious.
Also from El Artista I got the chili relleno taco. This is flour tortilla filled with seared beef
tenderloin, poblano pepper, black beans and salsa roja. And who knew that Epcot took the HHN
maze from this year and turned it into a food booth. Okay. El Artista.
This is our favorite. So the question is this is going to be our favorite dish of the this festival.
Let's find out. I mean who knew he was a chef? He's an artist and a chef.
And the paintings come to life. This is a good taco. That beef is so well seasoned. It's like
so flavorful. The salsa gives it a tiny bit of a kick but not too much. If I have only one complaint
it's the flour tortilla is like cold. Like it was like sitting in the fridge and they just took it
out. But other than that this is a solid I'd give it a four out of five. Nice. And to wash it all
down I got a matcha rita. This has tequila, matcha tea, strawberry liqueur and sweet cream on top.
It is absolutely beautiful. The tiniest little margarita I've ever seen. What is this a margarita
for ants? It's a margarita for people who like matcha which isn't me. I'm not the biggest matcha
fan either but I enjoy it from time to time and a matcha rita intrigued me. Oh yeah this is good.
It doesn't really taste like matcha at all. I think the thing that I like is like that foam
on top. I'm giving this a five out of five. I'm honestly so surprised. Peter I want you to try it.
Trust me. Oh yeah I think it's that foam on top but yeah I'd give it a five out of five. Wow.
I'm like honestly shocked because Peter doesn't like tea at all. Well I like margaritas. That's
true. And this is a good margarita. He likes anything that's green so. Well in that case I
should like matcha but I don't. Next up we headed to China. That's where I found the painted panda
and that's where I got myself the char siu pork bun. This is a sweet and savory Cantonese style
barbecue pork in a steamed bun. I gotta say the presentation of this is wonderful. I feel like
my favorite Chinese food is Cantonese. I'm not sure if I can prove that but I feel like I love
a lot of the Cantonese dishes and char siu pork is like one of my favorites so hopefully I will
like this bun. Oh my god look at that pork glisten in the sun. This is exactly what it sounds like.
The char siu pork is so sweet and if I have only one complaint is the bun isn't like the freshest
but I think that's the same with all the Disney food festivals even the Lunar New Year in
California but even though the bun isn't like the best this hits. I'm giving it a five out of five.
I'm honestly surprised how good this pork is for being at a theme park.
It's not as good as like we've been to China and we've had it there and that's like
obviously the best of the best but this is so this is really good. I don't even need the bao bun.
I just just give me the pork just give me a huge plate of the pork and I'd be happy. Five out of
five ordinary adventure star. We also got the General Tso's chicken shumai. These are dumplings
filled with chicken asparagus onion and water chestnut topped with General Tso's sauce. They
didn't give me a fork over there they give me chopsticks so. They had forks but they were all
out. Sure. They did. It was either chopsticks or a spoon. You did it wow first try. Okay these were
not what I expected. I think I was expecting more of like a chicken dumpling with that General Tso's
sauce on it but it's mainly like the asparagus, the water chestnut, the onions. It tastes very
healthy. Oh no. Not that healthy is bad but I was expecting it to be more like American Chinese food.
Yeah. If that makes sense. It's good it's just not like amazing. I'd give it like a three and a half
out of five Peters. Yeah look at all the like green stuff on top. The heck. What are those sprouts?
Okay so I don't want to be dramatic but this literally tastes like I was eating
a handful of grass with like pepper on top. Like I don't taste the chicken at all. I do like that
they give you cucumbers because I'm a cucumber girl but skip this and get the pork. Another
artist you see every year at Festival of the Arts is Scooter. He has like this mid-century modern
style that I absolutely love and he debuted a couple pieces here for Epcot and some of them
like are classic. Others have like the Guardians of the Galaxy ship in the background. I'm obsessed
with Mickey and Minnie with the monorail going by with Disneyland in the background. Like I'm
obsessed with like Mickey's face. I don't know why but it's so cute. I love it so much. Yeah this
whole series they have like different faces than he does normally. They're so cute. I'm like obsessed.
I don't know why. It's just adorable. I love it. So cute. We found the Star Wars booth. Look at this
loath cat with a bunch of loath babies. What are they called? Loath balls? Do we know what they're
called? Do they have a name yet? I don't know. They're so cute. So we ran into our friend Trisha
who's an amazing artist. She's here for the festival. She makes the cutest Star Wars art.
I love her stuff so much because like it's not very often that you find like the cute critters.
You find like Grogu. It's usually like Darth Vader and Han Solo and the Millennium Falcon but
her art like just really speaks to me and we got to see her at the last festival of the arts that
we attended but all of her stuff was like sold out by the time we saw her. So I was finally able to
buy some original art and I ended up getting the loath cat and the the babies and she like signed
it for me and like did like a little drawing of Grogu on the back and it's like amazing how fast
she was able to draw it. She's like what do you want? I'm like I don't know surprise me maybe a
Grogu and it took her like three minutes because she used to be like a cartoon animator for like
the Simpsons and stuff so she's just like so good. I'm so happy with this and I love that it's small
and it's on like a piece of wood. It's just like so unique and it's so cute and this totally just
made my day. So we finally found one of the festival marketplaces so let's check out some of
that actual fart merchandise. Oh my god. We will have to call it farts. International festival of the arts. Yeah we've been like
lacking on calling it farts today but yeah let it be known this is this is farts. Technically
isn't farts. It's technically I fart. I fart? No. It's international festival of the arts.
Yeah well I like yeah I farts is funnier. I'm gonna be farting after today let me tell you
that much. Just kidding that was gross. Cut that out. I love the colors of this. This is actually a
lounge fly but it's not a backpack. Just like a little round bag and it has Spatial Birth on there
and of course Figment with his paintbrush. Oh the merch is good this year. I like the colors on that.
Yeah I kind of want to oh I guess wait you can wear it as a backpack. Oh I like that that's
different. Oh my god look at this coffee mug with Figment providing himself as the cup holder. Wow
I love the merch this year. The colors are so pretty. I love this but you know that I don't
need another coffee cup. Look at the like greens here. Yeah I love that. Very Peter coated this
year. Yeah by the way do what do people do with these pockets? I don't understand. You put your
paint brushes in there if you're an artiste. No but does anybody actually use those pockets? Like
so much so many clothing comes with like the chest pocket but like does anybody actually use it? Let
me know in the comments. You can put like your your food in there you go around the fest you have some
leftovers put it right in there. By the way I like that Figment's coming out of the pocket but like
why not like you just cut off his body there you continue the paint. You're exposing him. Here's the
hat for this year's festival. I think I like most though the spirit jersey. Yeah I love like the
paintbrush look looks like he brushed the paint on there. Next up we stopped in Italy where I got
not sure if I'm saying that correctly but this is polenta, bolognese, parmesan, mozzarella,
and tomato sauce. Italy is always a booth that has a bad reputation and never has good food
although I will say the last time that we came to the festival of the arts we got like
some like fried mozzarella and that was pretty good. Is this finally gonna be the year that Italy
did it right? So this is just okay it's not good it's not bad honestly I probably should have just
got the fried mozzarella again and then I would have been happy but I don't know this just tastes
like almost like Chef Boyardee. So over here in Italy there's some water fountains and there's
this Luca artwork for the festival of the arts and finally you could get your photo op with the
cat from Luca what's his name Machiavelli I forget but he's the best he's so grumpy and he's
so cute and he's hiding down there being so grumpy and I just love it so much we need more merch with
him on it come on. Next up we made our way to America to the artist's table this is where I
got the peppercorn crusted strip loin with grilled asparagus potatoes au gratin in butter
and this smells so good I think they were like grilling it out back right there I will say this
was like one of the longest lines to get the food all day this strip loin is perfectly cooked you
can definitely taste that char from the grill and whatever they like marinated in I know they said
peppercorns there's a little bit of pepper there but it almost like tastes like a chimichurri or
something this might be my favorite dish of the day which is kind of sad because I feel like this
is one of the more basic dishes it's not like adventurous it doesn't have like this artful
presentation it's just a well done dish the au gratin potatoes perfect I'm gonna give it a five
out of five feeders so I'm not sure that I've ever had strip loin before this to me it almost looks
like brisket but it doesn't taste quite the same as brisket but it's like nice and thick I do like
the addition of the asparagus and the potatoes and I'll give it a five out of five why not
also from the same booth I got this steakhouse lobster caesar salad with romaine lettuce red
oak lettuce radish bread crumbs and house made caesar dressing and listen I know the lobster is
expensive but what is this got like three little pieces on here this better be amazing okay I take
it all back I should have been complaining this is so good the dressing isn't too like overpowering
like it's barely on there I love like the fresh grated cheese on there and then these little
itty bitty ant size croutons just add like the perfect bit of flavor they're like very
garlicky I'm gonna give this a four point nine nine out of five could just give me more lobster
and then it would get a five it's beginning to come that time during an Epcot food festival where
we're both incredibly full we've started to cross off items on our list that we wanted to get
because we just don't have much more stomach space for it and also the sun's beginning to set
so it's beginning to get a lot more chilly my watch says it's 56 degrees but I think I don't
believe it I feel like the wind is making it a little bit chillier so we have two more booths
left I think we can do it ducky ducky next up we made our way over to Japan one of my favorite
countries and I got myself the Wagyu bun this is a steamed bun filled with sweet and savory
minced American Wagyu beef it's funny that they state American Wagyu beef when like the famous
Wagyu beef is from Japan so why isn't Japanese Wagyu beef because then it would be like seventy
dollars probably and I also like that these buns are like purple why are they purple I don't know
again it's adding to the mix of what's going to come out tomorrow okay I was like that took me way
too long though I was like wait what do you mean ew Peter okay cheers you know what this reminds me
of this reminds me of that place that we went to I think it was in Japan although it was a Chinese
restaurant and it sold those buns it was like five five one we'll put it on screen but it's like this
chain and it had these like amazing buns which to me tasted like it had like white castle inside it
which sounds bad but like that's what this tastes like it tastes like a beef with like that onion
flavor and it has like almost like a teriyaki sauce in there as well and then the fluffy bun
would you say it's umami flavored yes it's umami I don't if you're coming here expecting
Wagyu beef I think you're going to be a little disappointed but this is this bringing me back
I love those I love this five out of five Peters doesn't it remind you of that except in Japan you
could get like 12 of these for like two dollars this is like instantly transported me back I think
we got them in Osaka so if you ever go to Osaka try them there or if you come here get it here
ordinary adventure star yet already new okay and I got the taiyaki and this is a crisp flaky
fish-shaped chocolate flavored pastry filled with custard and served with a whip cream topping
I don't know if I've ever had a chocolate taiyaki before oh look at that oh yeah I also
feel like if we were in Japan that would be red bean paste inside it wouldn't be custard
I think I've been craving something sweet we've had so many savory things in a row
this reminds me of an oreo it's like a taiyaki oreo with that chocolate and vanilla
kind of mix the cream in there is super sweet another thing like if we're actually in Japan
it would not be sweet at all it would be like they don't like sweet stuff there do I dare give
it a five out of five is that are we going too crazy that is really good the crust is like flaky
not too chocolatey but for me what makes this is the custard yeah five out of five
we had to grab ourselves a beverage to wash that down I got myself the grapey apple boba
this is crafted black grape beverage with green apple popping boba it's a non-alcoholic beverage
and we asked for a boba straw and they said we have not gotten them in yet oh is that what they
said that really yeah they said that and also it's like not even the first week of the festival it's
like down the line so they haven't they're not getting of it so the question is how do I consume
this the boba on or on the bottom this does not taste like anything that would be in Japan because
it's super sugary yeah kids are gonna love this I haven't even gotten to the boba already I'm
saying five out of five it's weird because I love it but I kind of want to compare it to like
a cough syrup you know that like grape cough syrup oh you got me a spoon no I okay so pro tip
I grabbed that spoon when we first got here and it's been in my bag ever since look always have
utensils in your pocket ordinary adventure star I think this is probably the best booth so far
so something that's new to the Japan pavilion is they now have gachapon machines although I will
say they don't have that big of a selection which is kind of disappointing it's basically a mystery
box inside of a little capsule machine and then you don't know which one you're gonna get and
they're all awesome yeah I feel like in Japan they're all like super cute here they just have
the same pen yeah in Japan they're like you can find super random stuff that you'd be like why
would anybody want this but it's awesome at the same time well I like this mini collection of
whales yeah they have some like hello kitty stuff too and they have some kirby they have a bunch of
anime stuff one is my favorite right here it's called still waiting for you dinosaur it's a
bunch of like lonely looking dinosaurs this one reminds me the most of something that you'd
actually find in Japan yeah but yeah if you want to get some gachapon come back here and get it
so obviously I was drawn to this one by our friend Kaylee Hicks Chippendale look at his cute little
teeth look at their little teeth enjoying their marshmallow under the mushroom then over here
Buckley I love the Muppets Christmas Carol I feel like you don't see a lot of Rizzo represented in
artwork so I need more Rizzo give us more Rizzo and then I really like this one too up here
I just love his style it's so cute yeah David Buckley's style is so good I like his
figment in dream finder yeah another artist we like is Joey Chu and the one that we got drawn
to today is his Disney bears bears of Disney look at Duffy finally some Duffy love another one of my
favorite artists is this guy named Dave Perlow if you've seen our logo then you've seen his work
because he created this logo which we love but he came out with a series of new attraction posters
including the haunted mansion living with the land that Ketra's favorite ride I know I love
this so much it's so good runaway railway yeah that's good too and Tron Tron light cycle run so
this one is the one from Magic Kingdom it's not the one from Shanghai because that one's called
light cycle power run by the way you can tell Dave Perlow loves living with the land because
there's so many details that are specific like all the characters at the end of the ride yeah
tomato girls on there and the mickey shaped uh tree topiary yeah the dog and the house so many
details yeah I feel like there should be some cucumbers on there that's the only thing that's
missing I feel like you should own this I know I do really like that a lot it's so niche but like
come on that's the best ride in the park let's get real just as we are leaving the park we saw
this photo op where they were doing like a long exposure with this rainbow magic wand yeah we
already got the photos back we have not looked at them yet this is a live reaction yeah let's see
what they look like oh my god the rainbow one is so good wow it was kind of silly doing it because
you had to stand really still yeah and I was like I thought that I for sure blinked but I guess I
didn't and then this oh oh no I did the one where she made us hug I think I did blink or my eyes are
good they're like half open yeah I think that one was like for valentine's day oh wait that was so
cool that's cool wow what a fun photo op I love that what a great way to end our evening here
yeah we had a fun time yeah thank you for watching I know this was like the tail end of this festival
we didn't get to it on day one I know but at least we got to come and you know there's a reason why
this is our favorite festival it's just a shame that it's so short if you want to see our visits
to this festival from previous years put the video right over there I want to say thank you to all of
our patreons thank you so much thank you we'll see you on the next adventure bye guys
