Flying Singapore Airlines Business Class is one of the longest flights in the world. Here is my thorough Singapore Airlines review and what I did for 18 hours on a flight. Flying to Singapore from LA is quite the journey, but I was so thankful I could find a business class seat using points. Finding an award seat on Singapore Airlines is not easy, but it's doable if you plan ahead!
This flight is 18 hours long.
Thank the lord we are going on Singapore Airlines business class for $12.80.
Usually an hour of sleep is really good for me,
so I'm really hoping that on this 18-hour flight, I'll be able to sleep.
Hopefully we'll be in the same exact spot for 18 hours.
Let's give you a little tour of the seat.
I'm currently sitting in 12A.
The bulkhead seating was taken and that one is a little bit bigger.
This is the notorious diagonal footwell.
People will put their legs up here to rest,
but later we can see how this transforms to a bed.
In this corner, we also have noise-canceling earphones.
Then we have a water bottle.
I'm gonna need a lot of water.
There's an outlet.
They also gave us some slippers.
That's the seat.
I don't really drink alcohol.
Shave butter lotion, lip balm.
It smells so good.
It smells so luxurious.
Okay, so one of my tips on travel is to try to sync your body to the local time.
But right now, where I am going, it's 11.20 in the morning,
but it's currently 8.20 here and I'm so tired.
You just gotta do what's best for you.
I have done this flight in economy before
and I was 21 and I was sitting in the middle seat
and I was just so happy to even be able to go anywhere.
And even if I was uncomfortable,
I just figured that's just the way it is and it's okay.
But I am very, very thankful.
Okay, so that's it.
Enjoy.
I've tried very hard to stay awake,
but I think it's time to get ready for bed.
In this storage, I have my chargers
and then I have my toiletries.
Get some sleep if I can.
I'm just so thankful I can even travel right now
because when I was a classroom teacher,
I had PTO days, but I never used it
because it was just so difficult to find a sub
or I had so much work I had to do.
I didn't want to leave my students.
But now, since I get to work from home as an educational facilitator,
it's just life-changing that I can do my work in advance
if I know I'm gonna be traveling.
And then I can also answer emails and all of that while I'm away too.
So I am so thankful and I'm so thankful that YouTube
and you guys also allow me to be able to share my content with you.
Thanks for being here.
So this is the foot situation.
I'm happy.
Okay, good night.
Oh no, someone's starting to snore,
which means I really need to go to sleep now
I can't sleep.
I woke up at 4.45 and stayed up for like an hour
and then slept for another two hours.
So that puts us at a total of six hours of sleep.
Usually, I could never do something so happy
and I think that's all the sleep I'm going to get.
I only have six hours left.
I kind of wish I was awake a little bit more to eat more.
Thank you.
Would you like to have some jam?
Yes, please.
Thank you.
Today is dim sum.
So I have a turnip cake, a shumai har gow and then a little wrap dumpling.
Okay, so I finished my movie
and some things I like to do on the plane is
one, listen to music.
Two, watch a movie.
Or I also look through my camera roll
and I start deleting videos or photos that I know I didn't want to delete.
I have ordered more food
and my biggest fear is we're going to hit turbulence while I eat this soup.
And this midsummer breeze is apple, orange, pineapple and a little bit of Sprite.
Do I save my drink?
Do I save my soup?
I'm going to try to lie down because I'm getting a headache from this turbulence.
We have about two hours left.
So this is actually flying by pretty fast
and all I've done is eat, watch one movie and sleep.
So not bad.
And I got some work done too.
All right, y'all.
See you in Singapore.
There's so many things to do and so many things to eat.
It's like one area.
Because I can see you're probably gonna be scrolling feeds all night long.
Okay, we are heading over to the lounge so I can take a shower.
And apparently the Terminal 3 Singapore Business Class Lounge is way better.
Okay, all I do is eat.
But it's what keeps me going because I've already been traveling for 25 hours.
We have a few more hours to go.
This lounge is so nice.
I definitely have imposter syndrome.
Like what am I doing here?
I'll use points.
That's what I'm doing here.
It tastes like what I imagined instant laksa to taste like.
But it's still good.
I wanted to take a shower and I didn't realize there's a wait.
So they're just gonna call me when it's ready.
I should have done that in the first place.
But who knew so many people like to take showers at the airport?
So these are all of the shower stalls and then this is the shower room.
That's crazy.
It's a straight-up bathroom.
This is crazy.
Okay, I'm gonna close the door.
Well my friends, this is when I say if you like what you see,
please like and subscribe and I'll see you later.
Bye and I'll see you in the next vlog.
