And now to the Mexican Ice Dance team of Harlow, Danella, Stanley and Seji Urano.
And in this Skate to Milano event, they are so, so proud to be representing Mexico here.
Mexican team, Harlow, Danella, Stanley and Seji Urano.
Shame that they had that little mishap at the end of the choreographic character step sequence.
That's not the idea. We're going to finish this program.
However, for us, because we're mindful of seeing the skaters' development,
for me, Harlow has improved so, so much.
And this new partnership, I think,
whilst it's obviously in its developmental stage,
she's found a partner in Seji who I think has as much potential performance and character,
even just the way that they skated onto the ice for their warm-up.
They're both such great characters and that's a great ingredient list for ice dance.
They have charisma.
And it's going to take a while for the two individual charismas to work into one.
And that just takes time.
And we've seen her, of course, on the Junior Grand Prix.
So we've seen this development.
And development of skating skill and style as well.
As we see some of the highlights.
There, the jump entry, that one of the levels that will boost their twizzles.
The hands extended in front, another level feature.
But you can see just a little out of synchronicity with one another.
And so that's why the creative execution for that element,
although they had the level four, is in the minuses.
So losing some points there.
But look at the commitment to the extension of the fingertips.
Choosing two curb lifts.
So Seiji in an outside spread eagle position.
And then changing onto the inside.
As we see their choreographic.
A little bit of a bobble there.
And that's going in as a choreo slide.
Because of Seiji touching the ice.
These slow-mo's are good.
And you know, when we're looking at this now,
it is skate to plano, it's the Olympic qualifier.
And these athletes are now getting to see on the live stream,
they'll have these moments captured forever.
Don't think they want to capture that moment though.
That's not one that we want to see.
That was a bit cruel to show that back, we didn't need to see that.
But that's going to go in as a fall, minus one.
It's part of the sport, isn't it?
And actually, in chatting to Harlow and Seiji,
they too have their own ideas about how ice dance
could be progressed moving forward.
We're joking about some of the different features
that could be taken into the ice dance.
Yeah, there's a lot of discussion and interesting discussion
about how the sport will evolve over the next four years.
And exciting stuff.
Some crazy ideas.
Some wonderful ideas.
Pierre Souquet joins as part of the coaching staff
alongside Alexei and Alina.
Freedance score is 73.56 for Harlow and Seiji.
That is third in the Freedance for the total competition score,
with 123.38.
And that, at least for the moment,
will put them into third place.
