The Golden State Warriors were blown out at home by the Los Angeles Lakers and in this clip from Saturday night's live postgame show Cyrus Saatsaz discussed the media's lack of impartiality in their incredibly strong biased coverage of Golden State Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr who himself was formerly a longtime media professional.

Lakers led by as much as 32.
They were in this, they were in control of this game
from beginning to end,
outscoring the Warriors 33-20 in the first quarter.
The Warriors tried to keep it close,
losing the second quarter by only five points,
but still, by that point, the Lakers were up by 17,
18 at the half.
They build that lead to 27 by the end of the third,
and then the rest is history.
And it came down largely to poor shooting.
Tim Legler, one of the two color analysts in this game,
the only one that was unbiased,
because if you listen to Richard Jefferson talk,
and if you watch his posts on social media,
you know he is grossly biased towards Steve Kerr.
I guess that is a massive issue in general
when it comes to media coverage
of this Golden State Warriors team.
The bias is sickening.
It's so deep and so obvious.
No one even tries to hide it.
Since when did biased media coverage become acceptable?
We were once supposed to get biased media coverage
from the teams themselves.
Now we're getting it from media organizations
that are supposed to be impartial, neutral.
But no, they all have a Steve Kerr bias.
Part of it is Steve Kerr was once in the media game himself,
befriended a shitload of people.
Now, if you're a media professional,
are you supposed to let those friendships
affect your coverage?
No, it's unethical.
But you also see how pathetic the media scene is,
because the bias is deep, it's real.
And Richard Jefferson, no exception to that.
Richard Jefferson actually praised Brandon Pajemski
in this game tonight, early, very early in the game,
but he was like, this team has some potential stars.
D'Anthony Meltz is a great player.
I think Brandon Pajemski,
who knows what he's gonna end up being.
There's certain things I can safely predict
about the future.
One of those, Pajemski, future star,
maybe a future role player somewhere.
Definition of mid, yeah, that's the guy
that Steve Kerr values the most.
And if you're a golden dazer,
if you watch this show regularly,
we previewed the fact that tonight was game one
of a brutal four-game stretch for the Warriors.
They host the Lakers tonight.
Then they host the L.A. Clippers Monday.
That game carries a lot of weight
in terms of the Warriors' postseason aspirations,
no pun intended, because the Warriors and Clippers,
I believe, are separated by a game or two
in the play-in seatings.
And then the Warriors go on the road
for a two-game road trip at Houston and at OKC.
Three-game road trip, technically,
but the first two games of that road trip,
again, Houston, OKC, and then they're at Utah,
and then they host Chicago.
So they get a nice little two-game stretch
where the opposition is more on their level.
How sad is that to say?
So this was game one of a brutal four-game stretch,
and I'm on the FanDuel Sportsbook right now,
our official sponsor, who, at least,
I am eternally grateful for,
because they're keeping the lights on
on a season that's getting dark fast.
They don't have a line currently available
for Monday's Warriors-Clippers game at Chase Center,
but I am intrigued to see what they think
about the Warriors in terms of future prospects.
Last couple times, I've checked in
in terms of win totals on the season.
There has not been a line.
The last time there was a line, it was 41-and-a-half.
There is currently no line.
You FanDuel's prognosticators,
the geniuses in the lab who control the lines
for literally every game,
even they can't figure this team out.
One minute, they think, oh, well,
because they're also factoring in public sentiment,
and one minute, they're like, oh, well, you know,
maybe this team can finish above 500
with some hope for the postseason,
and then the next minute, they're like,
uh, too unpredictable.
We're just not gonna touch it,
because they don't wanna get taken advantage of
by a savvy gambler who sees them make a mistake,
put down the house financially,
and then hurt their pocketbook.
The Warriors drop to 31-and-29 after this one.
Let's see what the latest title odds are
for the folks out there who are still delusional enough
to think that the Golden State Warriors
have a shot at anything.
If you wanna bet on the Warriors to win the whole thing,
a fifth championship for Stephen Curry.
Side note, got some bad news about that as well.
The line currently plus 25,000.
I'm gonna guess those are the lowest odds
for the Warriors to win the title
outside of the 19-20 season
in Steve Kerr's tenure as head coach of the squad.
Those are tremendously low odds.
And so for anyone out there who is a Warriors fanboy,
meaning they're biased, they're homers, they're cheerleaders,
all they wanna do is just stick to positivity for this team,
which I'm sure is becoming a massive challenge,
put your money where your mouth is.
