I'm so sick to my stomach.
God, you guys, I love bunnies so much.
It's a curse.
I wish I didn't.
Hello, Lennies, welcome back to the channel.
Lorelai here, and in today's video,
we are going to be, drum roll,
reacting to Your Rabbit Habitats,
the famous or infamous, however you wanna look at it,
series that Lennon and I started years ago
in which I grade your rabbit's living spaces
on a letter scale, all the way from an F plus
to an A plus, and this is one of our favorites.
It's been a long time coming.
I wanna do these more regularly,
but yeah, I'm excited to look through all your submissions
and apologies if I couldn't get to everybody.
I do my best to try and condense it all.
And also, just a quick reminder,
I'm now offering one-on-one bunny care consultations,
so to book your personal phone call,
please click the link below.
I look forward to speaking with you.
All right, let's get to this.
Okay, hello, my name is Sabrina.
I currently have one rabbit named Kiko.
He is five years old.
My second rabbit died this year in May, so he's alone.
We are from Belgium.
We just moved, and this is my bunny's room.
The room is 27 square meters big.
He has a lot of hidey houses, tunnels,
and space to explore.
We will get him a new friend for him this year.
Okay, let's take a look at this video.
Okay, very big room,
but I wanna see the bunny's stuff here.
Okay, so, okay, all right, it got a little bed.
Wow, that changed real quick.
Wow, oh my goodness, isn't it cute, his lion head?
Wow, okay, let's look at that again.
Okay, so we've got the Ikea bed.
I actually, the flooring is really cool.
Like, I know it starts off as tile, right,
that had us fooled, but then it turns into these
like little mats, these like tile mats,
but you've also got an area rug in the center
on top of that, which is perfect.
The amount of enrichment and hidey houses here is insane.
It's top notch.
I see you've got a little teepee.
You've got tunnels, like toys everywhere.
Love the litter box, really cute enclosed litter box.
With a, you know, hay feeder.
Bun Bun seems quite happy in there, very spacious.
This is so great.
Oh, you've got another bunny bed too.
I mean, this is definitely very suitable
for two bunnies, for sure.
I mean, it's great for one, but if you do wind up
getting Kiko a partner, I think they would really relish
in that space together.
It's just stunning.
I give this an A plus.
I don't see anything wrong with this.
Yeah, good job to you.
Amazing, amazing work in Belgium.
Allison writes, video of my sweet bunny Avery
and her habitat.
Avery is a Californian mix and will be two in December.
She is currently in an ex-pen.
My boyfriend made the topper because she was escaping
and we're not able to free roam her full time
because she doesn't get along with the cat.
She is very sweet and happy.
Interesting, okay.
All right, okay.
I have a lot of thoughts on this.
It's good that you have a pen.
It's just really, really bleak.
Okay, there's really not a lot going on in here.
I really recommend a rug or a mat.
This space is not conducive to hopping and zooming in
and binking in because of the lack of a rug.
Your bunny probably, as a result,
doesn't feel very comfortable hopping around in there
or living to their fullest potential.
I see you've got veggies.
The water bowl is good, so I'm not mad at that.
Just the two little toys in there, not great.
I gotta be honest with you.
I think you probably wanna give her a hidey house.
I know there's not a lot of space in there,
but that could really help, or a tunnel.
I think you can DIY some stuff if you really wanted to.
You could cut up some cardboard.
You could make some toys.
The litter box is fine.
You know, I'm not mad at the litter box.
Yeah, the topper, you know, you want them to be safe,
especially if there's a cat in the house.
I think that's really, really important
that you prioritize her safety.
You know, just bear in mind
that even through the bars of that pen,
your cat could still get in there and scratch something,
and I think this is a great, like, temporary solution.
I think long-term, you're gonna have to think about
how are you gonna keep this bunny safe in your house,
and how can you make your bunny as comfortable
and as happy as possible, given, you know, your limitations?
And I do think there's potential
to create an absolutely amazing habitat,
because where there's a will, there's a way.
You're already halfway there.
Yeah, I think based on what I see here,
I'm gonna give you a C plus.
Okay, then we have Tarza.
We are from a Middle East country.
I have been rescuing rabbits since 2016.
Wow, okay, no specifications on the country, but wow.
Oh my God.
This is so stunning.
Okay, so you've got, like, some birds, too.
Wow, I don't know what country you live in,
but I love it.
I love it, I love that you, oh, the little birdie.
Okay, got some DIY stuff, DIY hidey houses.
This is amazing.
Okay, I love the hidey houses, the tunnels.
By the way, guys, like, note that a lot of these items
are cat items.
Like, I know some of those tunnels and hidey houses
are probably for cats or even maybe small dogs,
but, you know, everything else is, like,
I like the litter boxes, I like the hidey house.
I let you obviously know a lot about rabbits.
You have them separated, and you've even protected
that, like, lower half of the pen
so that they don't attack each other,
because they're obviously not bonded.
I don't see hay.
Where is the hay in the litter boxes?
I see pellets.
I don't see hay.
Okay, so we need to fix that.
I don't know if maybe the hay is hidden somewhere.
I'm gonna give this setup.
I have to deduct you for the no hay.
I'm sorry, but we're gonna do, it's a big deduction,
because that's, like, their life.
That's, like, 95% of their diet.
It's like everything is good except that.
I don't wanna give you a B+,
because I feel like that's too low.
I'm gonna give you an A-, all right?
So if you get the hay in there,
you could easily be an A+.
So let's do that.
Okay, hi, Lorelai.
I've been a fan of yours for so many years.
You gave me so much information
before getting my first bunny,
and I'm still using that information now with my second.
Oh, I love hearing stuff like that.
I give you permission to feature my video.
This is Peanut, my five-month-old
Netherland dwarf's habitat.
Okay, so a baby.
We cleared out the storage room
under our stairs and renovated it.
Amazing, let's take a look.
Wow, oh my gosh.
This is a beautiful, beautiful room.
I love that you, like, repurposed
your storage room under the stairs.
What, what, what, what?
I've always wanted to do that.
Seriously, I'm obsessed with this.
Oh, it's so good, guys.
It's so good.
If you look to the left,
you've got, like, a little shelf
with some cleaning supplies, some treats.
Then you go over to the right,
you've got some bunny artwork hanging on the wall.
Good litter box situation.
A very happy bunny.
Anybody that's, like, flopped over like that
is very happy.
This is so good.
Little Ikea bed, great water.
Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, I'm obsessed with this.
I'm sick to my stomach over how much I love this.
The enrichment, everything.
Oh, the tunnel.
This is so good.
This is an A plus.
I mean, I guess it could use maybe, like,
another little rug or something,
but that's just if you want it to be absolutely perfect.
So good.
A plus.
A freaking plus.
Okay, next.
Hi, I'm Kawai.
My bunny's name is Big and Noir Pley,
but let's take a look.
This is the rabbit area.
They have a bowl of water in their little house.
Hot litter box with a grid.
More hiding houses.
I got this cat litter box furniture thing.
They jump in there.
It's here.
Another litter box.
I use a shower caddy to hold their hay.
So it comes out and it hooks back on.
This is Figgy and Noir.
I have a air purifier there
and an air purifier next to that litter box.
And yeah, that's it.
That's their area.
Sometimes they jump there and there
and play with their toys there.
Oh, can't forget water fountain.
Okay, thanks for the narration.
That was like less work for me to do.
I don't see really anything wrong with this setup.
I mean, I love the water fountain.
You guys know I used one with Lennon
for a good amount of time.
They're really convenient
because you don't have to constantly worry
about refilling the water bowl.
I like the little foraging mat.
I like the hidey house.
I know you've got a litter box in there.
I obviously love seeing the hot litter box
in any habitat.
So, you know, you're gonna get an extra half point
for that, for getting the hot litter box,
which by the way, I will link it down below for you guys.
And you also have the grid with it.
So that's great.
I like the theme, like it's pink,
it's feminine and sweet and cozy.
I like that you have an air purifier.
You obviously care about your rabbit's respiratory health.
And yeah, the clear paneled pen to block things off
is, looks like it works great for you.
I would give this setup all in all an A+.
It's a very cute and efficient setup.
It seems like they've got everything they need.
Next, we've got, hello, Lorelai.
This is my six year old bunny, Puffy's current habitat.
She's free roaming in the whole house,
but has a corner just for herself
so she can feel more comfortable.
And you also sent a photo.
You did say she's free roaming the whole house,
but has this corner for herself.
So, you know, that's already like a huge booster
right there that you're free roaming.
And this is basically like a little home base.
So, you know, you've got a little tunnel,
even if it's small, it's still something.
Like the, you know, Puffy is going to appreciate that.
Rabbits really like tunnels, you know?
I like that you have used that little table there,
that side table, as like a hidey space for Puffy.
And this is what I mean, guys,
by using some items in your house in multi-purpose ways.
That's a great way to make use of that table.
I see you've got a little rug there.
I let you know it's a spacious litter box.
I like the hay storage.
You know that he's got some DIY toys with some cardboard.
Again, guys, this doesn't have to be super expensive.
The most expensive toys, you obviously DIYed quite a bit.
I'm gonna give this an A plus.
Okay, so Maddie writes,
here's the link to our bunny room,
home to Romeo, who sadly passed, and Picasso.
My condolences.
Okay, so this is, it's a long video.
I'm just gonna talk over it.
I really like this so far.
Are they allowed to eat pine?
Let me Google that.
Interesting, Google is saying that they shouldn't eat pine.
Is that even pine?
Like maybe I'm wrong,
but I really like how you created a lower entry litter box
by using the bottom of the carrier
and like flipping it upside down.
So very, very innovative.
I've actually seen a lot of people do that before.
It's a really great hack for, you know,
those of you who have a senior bunny
or a special needs bunny.
Very adorable little lion head.
Wow, very spacious.
I like the beds.
You've got a good litter box for the other bunny as well.
It seems like your bunnies are very happy.
I give you an A.
So good job, Madeline.
All right, next we have Gayatri.
Hi, Lorelai.
First off, I just wanted to say how much I love your videos.
You convinced my parents to get a rabbit when I was 12
and he brought me out of my struggles as well.
I am so sorry for your loss of Lennon.
Lennon and John, my bunny, died around the same time.
She was an icon and will be missed for sure.
Thank you so much.
This is my dorm set up for Malcolm and I.
Malcolm is my ESA.
He stays in this pen during the day while I am in classes,
but I let him out the whole night and early morning.
We love our setup right now,
but if there's anything that may work better for us
and benefit Malcolm more, I'm so open to feedback.
Okay, so these are photos and not a video.
That's okay.
So one, I just wanna commend
for taking your bunny to college with you.
I know that's a point of contention for a lot of families
and a lot of schools
and it's a make or break situation sometimes.
A lot of rabbits get rehomed because of this.
You've made it work.
Obviously, you've gone the ESA route.
That's what I mean by where there's a will,
there's a way, guys.
This is so cute.
I think given the dormitory situation,
I know you're working with a small space here,
but you've got a pen, you've got cord protectors,
you've got a hidey house,
you've laid out some blankies, some toys, some hay.
He's there when you're at school
and when you're home, he's free roaming.
It's not a bad setup.
I like it.
I like that you created a little hidey house
where the litter box goes.
You've obviously bunny proofed your dorm.
The enrichment is a little bleak, but it's fine.
It's a good starting point.
I'm gonna give this setup an A.
Okay, hi, my name is Abigail.
I'm 19 and I would love to have my bunny pen in a video.
I have a bunny named Kida.
She's a one-year-old Polish bunny.
I used to free roam her, but she has to be monitored.
Let's see, also wanting to get her a new litter box.
What do you recommend?
Okay, let's take a look.
Ooh.
Okay, very short video,
but I love the pit balls as like a little digging space.
I love the little stuffed animal.
The tunnel is great.
Decent amount of enrichment.
If you want a new litter box, try the Hop Litter Box.
I'm always gonna plug the Hop Litter Box.
I'm gonna give this setup an A+.
It's an A+.
I don't see anything missing.
Okay, Cotton's Rabbit Habitat video.
Oh, oh, I see the Hop Litter Box.
Oh, this is nice.
Okay, little steps to, what, get on the bed?
Oh, so freaking cute.
I'm so sick to my stomach.
God, you guys, I love bunnies so much.
It's a curse.
I wish I didn't, I wish I didn't
because it took over my life for 10 years,
but here we are, okay.
This is an example of, you know, again,
someone who is working with the amount of space
that they have.
I love that you gave your bunny access
to your bed like that.
It's gonna create a closeness between you two
because your bunny now has this like unfettered access
to you, right?
I love the Hop Litter Box, of course,
and I see you've used it without the access cover,
so it is open.
So many toys, so much enrichment.
I can't be mad at this.
You guys are sending me good stuff.
Gosh, A plus, A plus.
I'm waiting for a bad one.
Where are the bad ones?
You guys used to send me some pretty bad ones.
I don't know what happened.
Maybe everybody's just doing better now.
Okay, hi, my name is Carmen,
and these are my two house rabbits, Narla and Pippa.
We live in the UK from Cornwall.
We've watched your videos for years now.
Okay, really cool.
I love my UK people.
Wow, this is beautiful.
This is very beautiful.
You sent me three videos?
Cute, you have a beautiful house.
Okay, it looks like it's a room that they've been given,
but you also kind of let them roam around a little bit
in the house.
Cute, okay, going down the stairs, very cute.
Okay, adorable.
Wow, where do I start with this?
This is really lovely.
I mean, right off the bat, it's an A plus, you know?
I mean, the Heidi houses are amazing.
I love that they have this room to themselves
with a beautiful view, beautiful window
to get some vitamin D from, great traction on the floor,
and obviously you let them roam around quite a bit
in the house, and you trust them to do that.
They've even got some toys laid out there
in your dining room.
So this is an A plus, I mean, what can I say?
Amazing, good for you.
Okay, here we have another college student from Sarah.
This is my dorm room at Virginia Tech
featuring me and my bunny.
I want to express my gratitude for all the work
you and Lennon have done in the bunny community.
I'm sure Lennon is looking down and is very proud of you.
Thank you for all that you do.
Oh my goodness, wow, that's a very nice college dorm.
Holy moly, oh, I like that hay feeder.
It looks an awful lot like the hop litter box feeder.
Did you own that at one point?
Okay, well, I like this a lot.
Wow, oh, yeah, the elevated bed, of course.
It's a college dorm given.
This is so cute.
You guys, those of you who bring your bunnies to college,
I need to make like a reacting to your bunnies habitat
college dorm edition, like a separate video
for kids who are just in college,
because like you guys are doing such an amazing job.
Wow, this is an A plus.
There's like nothing negative here.
This is amazing, free roam in a dorm.
Oh my God, I'm sick to my stomach over it
because it's so cute.
I'm going to keep saying that throughout the video.
Here's from Kinsley.
Hi, I'm Kinsley, I'm a 15 year old rabbit owner
and I foster rabbits for fun.
Amazing, I'm a full-time student and,
but I try to give my rabbits the best life possible.
See where there's a will, there's a way.
I'm currently fostering five babies
and a mama who stayed in my room, which is air conditioned.
Oh my God, two hop litter boxes, obsessed already.
You've got like some boyness points there.
Okay, cute, with the other habitat,
got the clear paneled pen,
which always like a great look.
It's very, very modern, really cute rug.
Love the water bowls, love the food bowls.
Oh my God, the baby bunnies are so fricking cute.
A plus and you got extra credit.
You got extra credit for fostering bunnies
and volunteering at a rabbit rescue.
This is so noble of you to take on all those baby bunnies
and the mama and your two bunnies on top of that.
Like they all have everything they need.
Like it just doesn't get better than that guys.
A plus, A plus and extra credit, so good.
Okay, my name is Sophia and I would love to participate.
I'm sending you a video of my rabbit Oliver's habitat.
Please excuse the fact that his space looks a bit messy.
Oliver currently lives alone,
but I'm planning to get him a companion in the future.
I'm a bit hesitant because of this,
his somewhat rebellious attitude.
So I would really appreciate any advice you might have.
All right, all right.
I'm seeing the clear paneled pen here.
It looks like maybe there's some free roaming access.
Okay, a little digging box.
Okay, some more little DIY chew toys.
Absolutely stunning bunny that's a gorgeous Harlequin.
Let's replay this.
This is actually a very, very good setup.
Okay, I see corner litter box.
I see a little foraging mat.
Those are very, very popular these days.
See some enrichment.
I see food and water bowls.
I see a Heidi house.
And then one thing that kind of catches my attention
right away is, you know, the lack of a rug.
Okay, cause rabbits really need to have some kind
of traction when they're hopping around.
You know, this could be quite bad for them
in the long term, right?
You know, it can cause slippage, arthritis,
you know, splayed legs, things like that.
But also I think just more importantly,
there's a lack of comfort for the bunny.
You know, he or she is probably not doing, you know,
the binkies and the zoomies that they could really be doing.
I'm gonna give that setup a B plus.
Only because of the rugs,
with that you bring it up to an A.
The thing about a rebellious attitude,
it could just be part of his personality.
Like that's his little spunk.
That's how he expresses himself.
He might just be naturally a sassy bunny,
but it could also be that a female companion
maybe simmers him down a little bit and calms him down.
Maybe he's a little bit sassy because he's bored
and so he's hyperactive and he's destructive.
And maybe having a friend will, you know,
kind of occupy his time more.
He'll prioritize his partner more.
Okay guys, so I only had like one
that was kind of a C.
Like there really was nothing bad that was sent to me.
So either everybody has improved over the years
or the really bad setups,
those people don't watch me anymore or whatever.
I don't know, but that's always good.
It's good news.
It just means I'm triggered less.
So even better.
I think I want to do this,
but like more thematically going forward.
Like I said, I want to do the college dorms.
Maybe I want to do like a TikTok only rabbit habitats.
I might want to do like outdoor only, indoor only,
like kind of just a variety of different rabbit habitats.
So sorry to anybody that I forgot, didn't include, et cetera.
This video is already so long.
I obviously can't like do everybody,
but I did my best.
And hopefully if I didn't get you this time,
I can get you in the next one.
Thank you for all your submissions.
Don't forget to book your bunny consultations with me
in the link below.
I'll see you guys soon.
Love you.
