Your Body Was Never Designed for Screens at Midnight 📌

Your body runs on light, and artificial light at night
is one of the fastest ways to wreck your sleep
and your hormones.
We weren't designed to fall asleep to glowing screens.
For thousands of years, the sun told our bodies
when to wake up and when to rest.
But today, phones, TV, and street lights,
our brains are stuck in permanent daylight mode.
So here's the issue.
Your circadian rhythms rely on two cues,
morning sunlight and nighttime darkness.
Early sunlight helps set your body clock,
telling your brain, this is daytime, produce energy.
Total darkness at night tells it,
now it's time for melatonin, now it's time to recover.
When clients start their mornings
with 10 minutes of outdoor sun, no sunglasses,
and then make their bedrooms pitch dark at night,
their sleep improves fast.
They fall asleep easier, wake up refreshed,
and hormones like cortisol and melatonin finally sync up.
We weren't built for screens and blue light.
Reclaim your rhythm with sun in the morning,
darkness at night.
