Chicos today we have another adventure with Andrea la Mexicana and the
Brazilian girls Hello Today we're going to Whistler We're
going to explore this place and learn Spanish
Amanda the Brazilian is driving she's behind the wheel and we
have about an hour and fifty minutes to reach our destination
Marley is behind enjoying the view of the trees and the scenery and I
I'm here recording this video Guys we're pulling in
for a quick break We're heading to the restroom and then grabbing a coffee Let's see getting to know
a café I found on Google Maps Amanda has driven the whole way
We still have more to drive Did you enjoy the route Yes I loved it It's the
The first time I've driven and yes I'm already eager to get to Whistler I'm really
glad for that opportunity and even more so for being with my mom and thanks as well
Marley did you enjoy the trail Gorgeous Nature is perfect and wonderful
Nature is perfect and wonderful That's right Now let's head to
this café We have a line so we'll wait This is a line or the queue
Here I have gluten-free donuts Well kids the cafeteria is super
Full but everything looks good Well let's try the donuts
One donut with red fruits and the other with mojito
Mojito There it is And Marley has a scone Let's see
A scone there the one from Marley Let's give it a try It's incredibly soft and the flavor is very
Rico Did you like it Amanda Marley
Very tasty Very good very good Kids the coffee is good too
The aroma is wonderful and the taste is equally amazing Deli
deli We're happy with this first stop Definitely worth it
Chicos we're arriving at Whistler We've arrived It's half past four
late and see the wonderful weather we have Now let's park the car
Van the car and then we'll walk Ready guys Oh what sun What sunshine
Strong It's extremely hot and the sun is blazing but anyway we've found another
outdoor parking spot outside since the other parking area isn't available
was taking place Now the Brazilian woman is paying for parking One positive
aspect is that after five o'clock in the afternoon there's no longer a fee
You have to pay for parking In this parking lot we're going to pay
Just cents The cheapest parking I've ever seen in my life Done
We're going for a short walk and I've already applied sunscreen to my skin
our arms and we'ready It's incredible to see the mountains and they don't have
Snow in winter They are covered in snow You can see white from afar
And now there's nothing on the paths where people used to descend They can no longer come down anymore
with the snow There's no snow Let's enter this place this path which is the village
from the north It looks like there aren't many people around It seems a bit empty This place reminds me
It strongly reminds me of a place we have in Mexico called Valquírico It's located
Puebla It's a place very similar to this little village that Whistler has
So beautiful If you ever get the chance to go to Puebla Mexico make sure to visit Valquírico
And here you can also rent bicycles motorcycles quad bikes and other items for your
adventures They have child-friendly areas special zones for kids and more
cafeterias I also like this one here—this cafe It has benches
clothing shops and a market It's literally like a small town
I see apartments and hotels around here And the interesting thing is that they have points
specifically for filling bottles You can bring a bottle and fill it up or
fill it here I'm going to refill my bottle And on this side you have the concerts I
s huge place with that stage upfront draws people in to enjoy
some music concerts And at the concerts the DJ starts at six
media today And here in 2010 the Winter Olympics were held
I'm now here at Olympic Plaza This place is designed so
tourists can walk freely without worrying about cars or traffic
right in the center There are parking spaces outside where you can park
your car then head down and walk with the streets free of vehicles It's also
eresting to know that Whistler has about 15 000 residents and receives
About 3 million tourists annually—3 million visitors to Whistler
It is undoubtedly a very popular spot for travelers and tourists
whether visiting in winter or summer The blue things always catch my eye
Attention We'll buy the blue short It looks nice right Here we have a store
exclusively hats in various styles and colors We also have a
jewelry store Diamonds and jewelry I came here with my
The family has been here for about four years three to four years and I came here in the winter
When the streets were covered in snow and it was raining it was so lovely
It was winter so it was quite cold I think it's more enjoyable more
pleasant to walk these streets without having to worry about much
Hoodies and you don't have to worry about the weather—just the sunscreen
solar the solar protector the sunglasses and ready It's prettier more
pleasant much better for walking The time I came when it was raining and
The floor was covered in snow making it extremely difficult to walk enjoy oneself or see
what really mattered was that people were beneath the roofs or inside the restaurants
They were packed to the brim the cafés were packed to the brim and it wasn’t all that pleasant
Experience I’d recommend visiting in summer or when it’s not snowing
Chicos I've arrived at my place You can find me here Just kidding
This area reminds me so much of Valquírico the place we have in
Mexico and here we have bicycles you can rent and typically in summer
since the mountains don't have snow people take advantage to rent one
Biking downhill racing down the mountain—what a danger An extreme sport Be careful
Chicos it's six in the evening and we're at a temperature of 35 degrees
Celsius So hot Truly super cold in winter and super hot in summer
Warm and inviting Check out what I found—the Mexican Corner the Mexican neighborhood
restaurant Could it be Guys we're here in the gondola area Here the
People ride these little machines to ski and reach the summit of the
mountain Here I see some structures I think people built them
These things to ski better I don't know If anyone knows let me know
in the comments And here some people are riding down on their bicycles
Here people park park their bicycles and also get on and off
right here A very extreme route Quite difficult in my opinion You'll need
experience Here we see people descending from the mountain—children adults and
of all ages Wow Well let's see what Brazilian Marli
thinks about this place Marli do you like it here
That's right very nice So what are we doing now We're going to have a drink Come on come on
We're going to enter this place called La Boca I think it's called La Boca
Restaurant and bar It must be Italian since it has so many
pastas and salads antipasti it's surely Italian Let's go
Ready everyone As they say in Mexico a full belly means a happy heart We're doing great
Now we're going to look for the car It's 7 p m and we still have to
She has to drive She didn’t drink alcohol neither did I
I didn’t either I didn’t… Guys let’s get out of here now
Villas located on this side We've only seen a small part of
Whistler and now we're heading to the car I hope you enjoyed this tour this
A lovely stroll but undoubtedly this place has plenty to offer
Whether it's winter summer or any time of year there's always something
different to enjoy—varying scenery changing weather but endless fun awaits
Well guys this is where we say goodbye Thanks for watching this video and learning Spanish with us
Andrea the Mexican Guys once again her Mexican Amanda and Marley spoke w
See you soon Until next time Bye-bye
Chicos it usually takes two hours to drive from Whistler to Vancouver
But now it's 10 p m we're leaving at 8 p from there
We're stuck here in traffic with tons of people cars and car crashes
and we still have an hour and a half to go before reaching Vancouver
We'll get to the house around 2 a m Not if we keep going at this pace
I'm hungry we haven't really eaten anything The lady is hungry That's right but I'm
Well very well That's precisely why it's important we didn't take anything I feel absolutely great
But what a shame—almost five hours for a trip that should take no more than two
So well That's at least what I told my mom and Andrea
at unfortunately an accident did occur but I'm telling you the good news is that it wasn't w
We're here doing well and healthy recording for you
We're alive but
starving Marley is hungry too So hungry
Five hours to get to Vancouver—this is why it's important to fill up the tank
plenty of gasoline and bring snacks or treats in your car We've learned something
11:51 p m We're pulling up to an A&W We're starving
Hamburgers with lettuce Happy
So happy
I don't know what language I'm speaking
I'm sorry Jen I want to cry I can't speak
Chicos
I'm hungry
