Good. What is going on everyone? Welcome to today's episode.
Some of you guys might know this guy. I know this guy, fortunately.
We know each other now.
We know each other now, yeah. And this is actually really funny because
I'm in Atlanta all the time because all tree stuff.
You never hit your boy up.
And you're like, dude, what are you doing? Why don't we just hang out and we do stuff?
So anyways, about a month ago we met up or whatever and they were like,
we're doing does, late season doe missions.
Yeah. So a lot of these areas, especially the place we're going to tonight
is totally overpopulated, like horribly overpopulated. So this time of year,
we always try to do our part of flinging some areas and thinning some deer out.
And I see that too. Like just being down in Atlanta, like there is deer just like
everywhere. So certain parts more so than others,
the place we're going to tonight is literally crawling with them.
Yeah. So that should be fun. So that is the mission.
I'm literally down here for two days. We're going to get like two or three hunts in
and we're just going to try to shoot a lot of deer,
help out a lot of these homeowners thinning out the deer herd.
And there's also a couple bucks in there. Yeah.
So, I mean, if a spike walks by, no, let's give it the beans, man.
Actually. Yeah. Hey, deer need to be gone, man.
I'm telling you, like there, I told you like this area used to have really big deer.
I don't see the quality of deer because the numbers have just gotten so bad.
So there's no shame in shooting a spike.
We'll see. We're going to shoot ball.
We're going to make sure I like flew here and all my stuff was all over the place.
So we're going to shoot a little bit and get in the stand.
Okay. So this is actually kind of cool. It's like,
we got three YouTubers here and I don't do a lot of collabs.
So we got Tristan behind the camera. What's up guys.
You're fanboying really hard. I know.
I watch a lot of your stuff.
So actually, if you, if you guys want to check out some more Atlanta hunting stuff,
Tristan has been doing a lot of Atlanta hunting.
Here's the deal. You've got a reputation to uphold here.
And I don't. If I miss a deer,
you guys are just going to laugh at me. I'm going to rip you a new one.
For sure. I am human.
You want to check who's more center?
Are we going to be shooting farther than 20?
Maybe, but most of it's going to be 30 and under. It's, it's kind of tighter shots.
Okay. We'll shoot another. And then I want to do 25 with my 20 pin still set at 20.
If you go further than like 30 or 40,
you got to cross the street and shoot from the neighbors.
Yeah, we can do that.
Obstacle one, cars, obstacle two, pets.
Where's the pets?
He says 41, 48.
There is some room.
Don't worry. I won't.
All right. Well, we just got to the spot. It's about two o'clock right now.
Lee has been monitoring these spots and there are a ton of does that are coming in here. So
we do have to hang and hunt. There's no sets. So we got the tethered
sticks. We'll get up there in a saddle and we're probably how far apart are we going to be sitting?
So we're across a big pond. You're going to be on the orientation. You're on,
you're on that side of the pond. I'm on this side.
Yeah. We should be able to like see each other.
We should be able to hear it. Yeah. And if I'll give you a crow call.
Yeah. My guess is we'll both kill one.
I think you're going to kill two.
If that happens and that happens.
All right. We just got to the spot. I got two sticks up, two screwing pegs on the bottom,
but I want to put the camera away because I'm going to climb up with the rest of the sticks
and hopefully some deer show up shortly after. All right, everyone. Night number one
here in Atlanta and we're kicking off a good start. I forgot my camera arm base,
so I'm like cockeyed and I'll show you in a minute, but I had to screw in the screw and step
and really make this work. So while I was getting set up, a fawn like ran in and I think she got
downwind of me and she spooked off. The wind is kind of marginal. It's kind of, it's like it's
flirting with it for sure. But if they come from this way, we should be good, but I got a lot of
time and hopefully we get a couple waves of does like two or three come in. We can shoot one,
two or three when we can shoot one. I feel like if they all come in at once, we might only get a
chance at one because they'll all run away, but we shall see. There is a chance that a buck would
show up and we have the green light to shoot a decent buck. So we'll have to see, but Lee is
literally in another tree. I think like right here on the other side of the pond should be
able to hear him shoot. We'll see. First time ever hunting deer in Atlanta. Feels good.
Just shot a doe. She walked right underneath me and there's this branch right here.
And when I drew back, my elbow hit that and I think I hopped really tight to her, but I saw
just blood spraying everywhere. I think she's down right over here. Man, I'm shaking, but that never
gets old. About 24 yards. Perfect shot. Man, I'm shaking. Worked out? Yeah, it worked out good.
So this is the first jump. Yeah. I remember seeing that just gnarly. All right guys,
met up with Lee. Lee did not shoot one tonight. Um, and I ended up shooting two. So we went back
to a truck, drop stuff off and we're out looking for him right now. Wow. This might be the best
blood trail I've been on. I wouldn't, I want to see this in the snow. I've never tracked a deer
in the snow, but I'll bet it's awesome. Watch out. Don't step in that. It's pretty gnarly.
It makes it like five times better. Holy cow, dude. Pretty good shot. I thought that was a
little tighter than that, but now we have a really fun drag out of here with two deer.
Now we got to go get number two. Doe number two of the afternoon. Perfect shot.
There's the lighted knock right over there. First one I shot was over there.
This guy didn't run very far. Let you know how it goes. All right, well if that deer comes in there
a hundred percent, shoot him. Oh dude, there's no question about that. There's a couple bucks
over by us too. So I know it's a doe management weekend, but if, if we, if we can, uh, let the
deer out of a couple bucks, I'm, I'm game for that. Oh yeah, that, uh, that white eight should be around too.
I just thought he hadn't shown up yet. They should be on their feet. All my cameras are blowing up right now.
Morning number one. Day number two. Hunting Atlanta suburbs with Sequin Doe Patrol.
We are about a couple hundred yards from several houses right now
and where we parked in the truck is, I could throw it and hit it with a baseball. So this spot, uh,
this is where Lee does a lot of his like doe management. There's just so many deer looking
at trail camera photos. There's like 10, 15 like does in one photo. Um, so they definitely need to be
managed a little bit. So hopefully, uh, we're going to hang tight for the next couple hours.
Hopefully we get some does to walk by, but there are some bucks in here, uh, that Lee said I can
shoot if I want. So there's a good chance that one of those guys will walk by. So I'm going to hang
tight. Hopefully, uh, no neighbors start mowing the lawn and we'll be, we'll be all set. Just heard
Lee shoot and I could see, I heard him shoot, look over and I saw a deer running. He's only about
like 150 yards away from me. Chris just got one because a doe just fell about 30 yards from me
right here. So now we got, we both got ones. We got two down. I do this every single day. One's laying
about 80 yards right there. One's laying 80 yards right there. Okay. Well, Lee just shot another one
and, uh, it's like just after nine o'clock now. So we're going to get down. We got four does down
just a heck of a morning and they're all within like, like I can see two of mine could probably
find Lee's if I looked really hard, but we're going to get down, get these drug out of here
and a heck of a morning doe patrol weekend. We're up to six does. It's pretty good.
We got some work ahead of us now. What did we say at the truck? I said,
someone's going to shoot like three and then someone's going to shoot one.
Yeah. And I told you, I was like, if, if, if we shot two, I'd be happy. And there we go. Two and
two. I heard you shoot the second time and saw your, I filmed your deer crash, like right in front
of me. Okay. So it's like, it ran and it's like, okay. Cause it went right over the rocks and I
couldn't, I had a, I had a deer at like 30 yards and I was like, I mean, waiting on her, she's
stomping me. I'll wait, wait, wait, wait. And I was like, finally about to get a shot. And then
I heard the crack of your bow and the deer just goes crash. Well, that's the thing. Like I was
there, you were there and it's like, you would shoot. And then they would kind of like run over
by me. And then I would shoot. Kind of what I was hoping they would do is kind of ping pong back
and forth. Like if they spooked to me or I spooked him to you kind of thing. Yeah. So this one spot
that Lee has, the guy's like super cool. And he has this John Deere tractor and he said, we can
hook it up to one of these carts. So we're going to go drive around and pick up all these does.
So we don't have to drag them. Lee's doe. This is, was his number two doe. Where's your other one?
Oh, his other one's right there. That little white speck.
This was my doe number one kind of curled up in a ball here.
And Lee, I mean, Lee was right here. He saw the thing just tumbling down the hill.
I had a deer in front of me. Yeah. I messed up his hunt because I shot this one.
Yeah. So look at that. Oh, very cool. But dude, I'm sure it probably hit opposite your left shoulder.
Yeah. That's money. That's a meat one. All right, everyone heading out for afternoon number two.
We are running a little bit late and we're trying to get all together. Lee and I are
hunting on two different places. So I'm going to head in here. He's dropping me off and he's
going to run to his spot. We're in shambles. Yeah. All my stuff is everywhere right there.
Got blood on my hands. I got blood all over myself. Yeah. Whatever. Hey, life's good. We're deer hunting.
We are deer hunting. All right. We're not done yet. Good luck. All right, guys. We're up in the stand.
Good chance we'll start seeing some deer pretty soon. It's a little bit later. It's just after four.
So we got about two hours of light. Our wind today is really good. Yesterday it was kind of
swirling all over the place and deer were busting. So I'm hoping that a deer will just come in like
normal. I have my camera arm too this time in this tree. So that's good. Hopefully some deer show up.
Dude, I just killed a pretty nice deer. Did you really? Yeah. Ten point. Shut up. Yeah. For real? Yeah.
He's like 110 inch ten point, but he's a ten point. Nice. He's laying here at 50 yards.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Nice. Nice. Dude, I'm freaking shaking so bad. Dude, it was awesome, dude.
There was like 10 deer right here. That never gets old. Never. Look at this. I cannot control that.
I love this, dude. Deer number six in two days. What an awesome time.
Fun tonight, eh? Shot me a buck deer. Nice.
Check out that one. Okay. Actually, so like one was right there. One was right over there.
There's the doe and the buck is right there. Yeah, right there. He's not bad. Five does and a buck.
And that was the goal. Like if, you know, like a decent buck showed up, we're going to shoot it.
Like I saw like 20 deer tonight. Lee saw like 20 deer tonight. This whole area just has like
just an extreme deer problem. So to help thin it out, it's just a big, a big help.
I really didn't think that buck was going to show up. And a doe and another doe.
He's kind of cool. He's got like these lumps on the face. I don't know what's up with that.
Awesome deer, dude. Sweet. First Georgia buck. Yeah. That was your first Georgia buck? Yep.
That's awesome. Yeah. Bull hunting, any deer I just get so jacked up about, dude. I was shaking so bad.
Well, let's get to it. That's a pretty nice doe. It is. Super healthy doe.
What's that? 11 for the weekend? Yeah.
Yeah. And you took what? Six of them? Yeah. You came here, you weren't playing around.
We got to kill some stuff. Yeah, dude. It needs to happen. Seriously.
All right, guys. So it is the morning after. I'm heading out. We're literally going to the
airport right now. But we had a fantastic couple of days here. As you can see, there's still a lot
of work to be done. But Lee's going to say such a good friend. He's going to deal with the rest of
it. But I got to catch a flight. But anyways, thank you guys so much for watching. Make sure
subscribe to Seek1. Subscribe to YappyTwanTwan. It's been a fun couple of days. A lot of deer,
a lot of donations, a lot of meals. We were able to supply to the Atlanta area. Appreciate you being
a hired gun to come help us out. Hey, you said we have to kill some does. We do. And we did.
Mission accomplished. Hey, you tell me to shoot something, I'm going to shoot it.
But anyways. You'll have to come back another time. Yeah, we will. For sure. Yeah.
So thank you guys for watching. We'll catch you in the next one.
