The Weekend Edition Quilt Series | Prairie Patches | March 2026 | Lisa | Primitive Gatherings

Hey, everyone, it's Lisa Von Jean from Primitive Gatherings, and it's time to introduce our next weekend quilt. It is called Prairie Patches. It is behind me. It is a lovely nine patch made out of flannel. And it is made using four flannel charm packs and one background. And I do believe there's probably a binding in there as well. So our kit is $110 if you want to grab a kit for yourself or I'm sure we have the pattern available as printed and a download as well. So this quilt is a nine patch. Now there's not really too much to demo or do a tutorial on a nine patch, but I just want to just show you how the quilt kind of comes together. So you're going to start your charm squares and then you're going to, from each charm square, you're going to cut four squares out of that charm square. Now, all of the oranges are used in the middle and then you're going to take four different ones and two and place them in one block. So that's how the whole quilt is going to go together. And then you're just going to piece these into three rows and then you're going to piece your rows together. So super simple. It makes a great baby quilt or a quilt for a person maybe that is in the recliner a lot or a wheelchair. So it's a nice size. If you want to know the exact size, it is 57 by 68. So you get a good idea of how big the quilt is. So that's all I have for you today. Grab yourself a kit or a pattern and get sewing and you'll have this quilt done in a weekend for sure.
