LeBron & Luka MAKE HISTORY & Combine for 70 POINTS vs Rockets 🔥 | March 18, 2026

Dodgetts to DeAndre Ayton First shot of the night LeBron James knocks down the three and watch this simple hive screen and roll They're keeping extra buys, but good job catching it knowing where your outlets are and figuring out Including that victory Monday night Dodgetts throws it in and Ayton finishes. That's just great understanding on a part of Luka Dodgetts Then here they drag Luka drags the pick and roll and now he goes to the rim He's been a lot of talk. Have you noticed better defense from Luka Dodgetts recently? Well that that was a good position defense right there You stay down early as LeBron knocks down another three his second triple of this first quarter And that's where the the three-point shot was such an added bonus to what he had been doing I don't think you see him defensively being more aggressive again DeAndre Ayton and DeAndre Ayton Luka connecting early three four four and this early going in the first What color would you call that? Like a salmon. Yes a bog if you will Ball poked away by James stabbed on the other end and throws it down Basketball here early LeBron James with the breakaway. They did not have that in the fourth quarter Monday night Dodgetts double fires away James aggressively goes inside kicks it back out Reeves Dodgetts Little head fake three-pointers good great ball movement from the Lakers He hits this shot and then he basically thanked who's over over here in the crowd for getting him going. This is great patient That's a hard thing to do Thompson and Dodgetts a fun matchup Dodgetts gets inside pulls up shot short. Nope bounces up and in Not just rebound off the finish Smith miss tries another that's another Luka Dodgetts his second three He's a double figures here in this first quarter weapon for Luka Dodgetts He's gonna drive that right foot into the defender and that's just what makes him freeze goes to the step back You know, he could be streaky Here comes the double team. You saw that smart takes it away beautiful steal from smart stumbles a bit gets it back Dodgetts wide open three-pointer. It's good Marcus smart another defensive play leads to a three Marcus smart making deep hits a place former defensive player of the year stealing the ball from the former MVP Giving it to Luka to seal the deal JJ Redick loves the way the team is playing And he feels he's I'm confident we can stay there. It's been a slow bill James LeBron James 41 years old throwing it down the Lakers are moving the ball so well and just He caught that behind the backboard, I love it when players would say man what a pass like pass That was a heck of a catch pretty fair number of Laker fans as usual Shepard a contested three in and out Chengu and had it lost it still loose picked up Moravia. Here comes James runaway train Convincing anyway anybody this guy's 41 years old LeBron James has had the energy from the jump Started with some three-point shooting and now it's all about to finish and reach Shepard is a guy that will get talked about sometimes It's being picked on in one-on-one situations, but he does that very well his anticipation in the passing lanes could be disrupted James gets the roll lays it up at end ways tonight, but this is a little bit different here This is just catching the ball immediately on the catch Seeing that there's a gap there one dribble and he's at the rim And this is force just playing through two defenders and then the soft touch on the end Only down by six considering how great the Lakers are shooting I think that's the silver lining because the Lakers have been exceptional offensively as the under eight Continues to hat with an easy finish right there despite Durant slow start and the fact the Lakers are rolling You still have this within eight points Read Shepard Deflected by canard Reeves throws it ahead Dutch. It's gonna have an easy one Luka Dutch It's lays it up and in get this one-on-one. There's nobody around take your time Get your steps right and then you go give us a fillet you give us a lay come on Luka And if you weren't looking to the scoreboard you think the Lakers would be up 15 to 20 Durant Misses that just one of three now and look Reeves down the other end lays it up in an easy bucket This is when you're looking at the Lakers defense their rotation. They got two people running at Kev Durant Yes, he normally makes it but then you have a player leak out. Somebody's got a Kogi lines up that three. That's good He is shot well from three-point range this year They feed eight and again he's been so aggressive puts it up shot is no good James right there He is turning back the clock here in the first half beautiful pass inside to Eason Well, not loose smart and here's gonna be another layup Although Kogi gonna try and stop it and a foul not a smart play from a Kogi Dodgers takes a shot And a chance for a three-point play Lakers now up 11 again 15 foot advantage when he catches this basketball This is their fourth breakaway of the half Josh and Kogi is gonna look at you and there are going to be opportunities for cutters Dodgers for three, that's his fourth three-pointer. He's got 21 Eason's putting some real pressure on Dodgers There's the help from Shingoom Dodgers throws it up and Aiton with the flush two points in the first half 13 in the third Lakers still shooting 57. I could truly see him and LeBron finishing wanted to at the end of their career and scoring Reeves throws it up LeBron James perfect connection and the foul Again, good screen didn't roll but see the position LeBron gets Thompson above him now He's not in any position. The only help could come from the weak side, but the weak side is not Dodgers looking find some room three-pointer knocks it down. Luka dodges his fifth three-pointer Dodges get to that left side of the floor. That's automatic money Lakers should go for one There's about a two-second difference between shot clock and game clock no fouls to give nice move dodges and nobody's there to help James gets inside left-handed layup off the glass Lakers punch it back after the Rockets make a big run LeBron James closing out the out the Reeves Avoids Eason back to James inside lays it up and in with some help from his big man Really good effort for the Lakers on both ends LeBron and a dead sprint on the last offensive possession Aiden with the great defense and he gets rewarded with another touch in the paint Lakers to turnovers in the last two possessions James find some room falling away. It's good LeBron James now at 27 The Rockets have been inconsistent in the clutch games Dodges goes at Finney Smith falling away is good. Luka dodges now with 32 and the Lakers go back up by two Dodges one-on-one with Finney Smith Kicks it out in the corner Hachimura gets a good look comes up short. No, it goes in. It's the front of the rim Lakers have had a lot of close games recently dodged it steps back three-pointer puts it in Luka dodges taking his time to spin the pirouette. Nobody sees Thompson now guarding dodges. He's had another brilliant night with 35 behind the back Lobs it up Hachimura throws it down sensational play from dodges Dodges lobs it into eight right back Luka dodges double team spins away drives down throws it up LeBron James With the power don't so similar again Creative to get by two defenders and a six-point lead smart throws it James back the dodges on the drive pulls back three-pointer Luka dodges nails the three Timeout Rockets greatness. Is that his greatest Luka dodges putting on his show trying to close out the Rockets on the road LeBron first I want to ask you about Luka 40 points from him and he closed this one out Just describe the impact that he continues to have in clutch time for you guys I've been doing all year for us and he's been in a great rhythm over the last year Since the season started and we're just trying to pick him up. We just try to pick him up on the backside Be ready when he's driving be catching shoe ready, you know, try to slash behind the defense But you know, he calls them out with big shots big time, you know step back three right there on that left wing So big time, how about you now 13 of 14 from the floor some crazy highlight dunks, especially that first one That you had just you look like vintage King James to us. Just how did how did tonight feel to you? I mean, I didn't feel that great, you know today Well, you know when I woke up or even when I got to the rain I was pretty tired obviously from the last game or whatever the case may be But uh, you know once the competitive juices get going and we got flowing, you know, my guys pick me up I try to pick them up and just try to make a few plays It was a hard ball you took a hard foul just how's the elbow I'm gonna throw some ice on as soon as I get to the locker room That's why I kind of ran off but uh, you know, I love you. You're awesome So I had to come back and do this interview for you He was trying to run off to get back to the locker room back-to-back. I'm 41 I need to I need to prepare but I'll take care of myself and hopefully be ready tomorrow night And lastly just again in crunch time. You guys are ranked number one in the league. Just what does that say about this team? I mean, we have a lot of resilience I mean we knew that they're gonna give us a even more of a kill shot today after you know, Monday's game So even when we went down even in the fourth quarter the second half they made the run We was up 12 at halftime. They made a run took the lead, but we have guys that's been in big games before You know AR and Luca are two of our clothes closers And then we just all try to sprinkle in and do what we need to do defensively To try to close the game and help those guys out. Congrats on the win. Go get some ice
