Mirra Andreeva vs McCartney Kessler 2026 Miami Open Round 2 WTA Match Highlights

It's a lightning quick set of tennis from Mira Andreeva, just 21 minutes is all it took and six of seven games belonging to the teenager in FASIC in set one. The factor is sometimes when you're in cruise control as Andreeva has been seven of the first eight games of this match. Wow! Yeah, careful with that volley and that's the first point she's won behind her second serve in the match so far. Big finish and that's got the crowd into it again. Fabulous stuff all over that with the forehand again. Well that's an extraordinary fight back from being two points from losing this match. She's right back in it courtesy of the second set tie break which goes the way of the American. Oh that's exquisite! Well she got the return all right Mira Andreeva. Yeah that's much better. That's an illustration of exactly the point you're making. Mighty impressive from Mira Andreeva. She had to go the long way around but unlike in Indian Wells she was able to keep her composure tonight to get past the dangerous McCartney Kessler. Who was thumping winners for fun at one point but she held her nerve did the number eight seed and that's why she is back in round three in Miami.
