Running away from my life by living in my van full time and driving through different countries, wild camping mostly. My parents also live in a van and heading to Budapest for dental work, so I'm travelling alongside them for a bit :) Hope you enjoy and are having a great week xx

Do you like my view? Every time I open my doors, this is Verona, Italy by the way,
every time I open my doors it's like a real-life painting outside and boy is it glorious. I'm
still parked in this tiny car park above Verona and it is wonderful. Every time I look out my
window it's like, it's like a real-life painting and granted it's quite populated here but I love
it. I kind of wanted my hair down but it's quite greasy so we're just gonna pop her up. I haven't
managed to get to a campsite yet and at the moment I'm refusing to shower in my van. I don't,
I just, I'm not vibing with my shower anymore. It's been traumatic but I'm not vibing with
her anymore. So, come with me. Let's go and see what Verona has to offer. Romeo and Juliet. It's
fun. Let's go. Tartre Cuisine, Italian edition. I'm at home. I found a better chandelier for
you can see there's like green all over the balconies and then the shutters are kind of a little bit,
I don't know, it just has like an old vibe to it but there's like loads of green.
I'm vibing with it so much. So much colour. I really love it here. Oh my god and I don't feel like I'm being
stalked at all which is so good. Let's go find Konomi's. Maybe. Every time I say I'm gonna find
something we never find it so we're gonna look out for them. All right, found one.
Do they have them? Do they? Oh my god, they do croissants. I reckon that's gonna be the best
thing in the world. Okay, do they have Konomi's though? Let's ask. We found a Konomi. What do
they call them here? Canolo. Canolo. Let's get them.
Mio and Giulia. Am I short? I don't know but for the sake of the narrative we're gonna go with it is...
Look at it. It's quite cool. We are all the way up the top. I cannot wait to go up the stairs.
I just climbed the world's biggest number of stairs. The world's largest staircase ever.
It's like 30 degrees. But Verona was so cute. I loved it there.
Really, really liked it. Defo, defo worth the visit. Defo worth a visit. I'll show you what I bought.
I bought jeans. It's really exciting. I don't really know if I like jeans that much anymore.
I used to be a real denim gal and I still am. But through Sickform I wore jeans every single day for
two years. The same two pairs of jeans for two years straight. In England I never wore anything
other than skinny jeans so now I'm kind of having a bit of a a jean detox for the last few years,
you know? But I did buy these. They're really cute. They're like slightly flared. They're
more my vibe. They're more my vibe. I like them a lot. Next up, travel plug because I never have one
for anything. Like when I just need to use a plug socket, anywhere in Europe I never have the right
thing. It's been two years. How? I don't know. Also please excuse the hair. I'm so incredibly hot right
now in many ways. Mostly heat this time though. But okay, wait, wait, wait. Three boobs. These are Juliette's
out of Romeo and Juliette's boobs apparently. They're supposed to signify good luck so
they're gonna go on my fridge. I love them. They're great. Okay, got the cannolis and I also got this
thing which, I don't know, I'm guessing it's some kind of donut type thing. I had to try it because
it seemed popular and I was like, eh, it's just a Nutella donut. I'm more excited for the cannolis.
It actually reminds me of churros. Before I did this, my parents ran a churro street food truck.
Street food truck. And anytime I eat Nutella now, I just remember churros and this
kind of tastes like a churro. It was a very good churro truck. It wasn't, it was like really good
quality. They were literally the best churros on the planet. Fried food is the best food, period.
Donut's actually really good. It's like really light and not like claggy but the flavors are good.
I feel like I'm on some kind of daytime TV cooking show. The bun, it's very, very light.
Oh yes. Yes, Mary. I think that the buns are quite delectable indeed. Oh yes, Paul. They are a really
gorgeous set of buns. Oh yes, Mary. I also think that the fragrance of the hazelnuts was also very
potent, don't you think, Mary? All right, let's go. I can't deal with myself right now.
There's like a haze over the whole city and then the sun is just illuminating the haze.
You gotta love that. There are a lot of people loving it, look.
It's kind of weird that my house is just there. It feels like everybody's trespassing but that's fine.
Oh my god, it's setting so quickly.
It is getting prettier by the minute. The lights are twinkling. Okay, check it out now.
So beautiful. Alrighty, I'm just packing this ---- down because we are leaving this space. I
definitely, definitely recommend it here and this parking space is amazing. I don't know what to do.
I'm freaking so hungry, man. I have my cannoli which I've been biting into. The one we searched
for. It's okay. I'm not overjoyed. It doesn't really taste as much. It could be better but
it's an Italian cannoli. So I'm pretty happy. Come with me and let's go. It is dark. I don't
know why I just put my sunglasses on my head. I will see you in the cab.
Alrighty, let's leave. Sorry for the bad quality video. I just can't do anything else
right now. Oh, my place was so beautiful. With all my stupidly greasy hair and the fact that I'm
wearing the same outfit as yesterday, I've woken up in this car park. Okay, I didn't wake up till
11 and it is ---- hot in here. Like, I am- I want to throw up. It is so warm but yeah,
I'm gonna take Gigi out then we're gonna drive all the way to Budapest. Okay,
just had the cutest morning going around this town. This little freaking Italian town. It's
called, um, I'll put the name here. Suave. Oh my gosh, it's so nice. Alright, my camera died. I'm
so sorry but, um, I had a coffee and I went into this gorgeous little bakery and yeah, it's like
a fortified town. Really, really cool. Okay, so now- now we're driving. We're driving to Budapest.
I think it's about seven hours away. I'm very excited to go there. Never- never been anywhere
that different from, like, France. Yeah, I'm really interested what it's gonna be like there.
I want to stop at a supermarket first though, so come with me. Come with me. Let's go explore an
Italian supermarket. I feel like I've had such a good Italian experience so far. I love it. Let's go.
Alright, come with me. We're gonna- we're gonna go.
Okay, let's begin the cycle of not understanding anything. Alright, I'm now obsessed with pistachios
We're gonna get these. There's so many cookies in Italy. Like, this is what they sell. Like,
it's so many biscuits. Like, just rows and rows of biscuits. It's kind of- I'm kind of vibing with it,
you know? Pistachio Lindor. Standard breadstick aisle. And biscottis. Even more cake and cookies.
Oh my god. I didn't think it was possible but there are more biscuits. What? Italy, what?
Look how cute this is. Just little donuts and then baby macarons. So many wafers. Coffee from my
coffee machine. Alright, taste test. It's funny because the whole supermarket is what you'd think
Italy to stereotypically be. There is two aisles dedicated to tomato sauce. It's like three aisles
dedicated to pasta. There's literally five aisles dedicated to cookies and cakes. Madness. Madness.
I've never been in a supermarket like that. It's so strange actually but it's kind of fun. Rate that.
I rate that. This is good. Alright, pistachio biscuit. Pistachio is so good. I used to hate
pistachio. Loving it since the last few days of being in Italy. Lastly, we're trying Lindor pistachio.
Let's try it. I'm literally gonna be sick. All I've done is eat sugar. That is hitting correctly.
Alright, pretty pleased with that. I have a carrot to balance things out.
Now we're driving to Budapest. Obviously, what else would I be doing in my day? Let's go.
Okay, I just got petrol. Aldi or Lidl is called Hoffa here. Let's go into the shop
because we're in Slovenia and let's have a look at the smart.
Alright, just had a break. Oh, and I have a visitor in the van because I'm bored.
Who is now dressed like a toddler in her pyjama boxes. I look delightful, really. And we have two
dogs in the car. Yeah, we've only just entered Slovenia. I've got to drive the whole way across it
today, tonight. So that's really fun. I ******* hate lorries. Basically, I got
stuck on a slip road for the first time in my entire life. It wasn't even what you could call
a slip road to be perfectly honest. No, it wasn't. I've never seen anything like it. Literally,
in Italy, the lorries, the road is just lorries. It was crazy. It was actually crazy. And they just
form a line and they don't move. So I just failed coming out and I got stuck on the road and it was
terrifying because it was a motorway. When we drove up, we were going, oh my god, we should
stop. What are we going to do? I really was just having a bit of a time and it just really made
everything a thousand times better. And there was this one bit in the road, I've never come across
it on a motorway before, but just before we came into Slovenia, there was a dip in the road,
which you know, sometimes happens. I actually kind of find them quite fun to drive over.
So I was like, oh, that looks fun. So you can see the cars dipping down and then literally I hit it
and then afterwards the road was like fucked as well. So it literally made me lose the steering.
I swear. And you'd already seen us go down the bump. Yeah, I'd seen you. So I really slowed
down a bit. It was genuinely the worst driving experience I've ever had. And I've driven
every day, almost every day for two years. I wonder how many miles I have driven. I've driven
like 30,000 miles. I drive so much and that was literally the worst thing. Even worse than the
time we got stuck going up the mountain and started going backwards on it. I reckon the roads in the
American motorway. Yeah, I feel like they'd be straighter and newer and there's more space.
One bit of advice would be given. Don't stop. It's definitely so painful.
Sleepy here. Death Valley. Avoid, however, the outskirts of District 7, 8 and 9.
And as a general rule of thumb, avoid poorly lit streets and underpasses.
Well, this is poorly lit and I'm pretty sure there's an underpass somewhere here.
Oh no, he's left my dog in there.
This literally looks like the worst place one could camp ever.
I'm scared. No, no. No. No, no.
Yeah, we're actually a definite insulator here. We're going to be ******* gassed.
Okay, no, I think it's the other side of the track. Oh my god,
because we actually have to live this. Literally, I'm not happy. Die.
There's graffiti everywhere. Graffiti's never a good thing.
Wait, wait, wait, wait. Stop.
No, because I don't want to get murdered.
Wouldn't you rather I locked the door than not lock the door?
I said you're very unobservant.
Oh, right. Okay. Like I'm not going to notice someone approaching your van
and trying to like rub everything out.
Well, there's a stink bug on my door. Get it the **** out.
You didn't notice that.
There you go.
I shall stay in the van with my daughter.
You can stay in here if you want.
I feel like it's my right to stay in your van.
Bearing in mind, you stayed rent free in my womb for seven months.
And I think I'm owed a couple of nights of free rent.
A few nights in my van. Okay, seems fair.
My van's actually pretty nice in your van right now, I'm just saying.
I have a chandelier and a fluffy blanket and an espresso machine.
Pretty incredible place to park, actually.
Okay, low key, ignore my hair.
I haven't washed it in about five days.
So, super chic.
Next to this beautiful river.
No clue what I'm doing next.
2am in the morning.
Extremely sleep deprived.
Just drove from Italy across the whole of Slovenia to Budapest.
Almost died multiple times.
I've never had such a bad driving experience than driving here.
Gigi is doing what Gigi does.
So, yes, I'll see you next week.
Bye-bye.
