Can I get yours too?
You played before, right?
Yeah, we played before.
Computer liked me.
Sure.
To David.
Aren't you winning by a lot?
I think you're...
Six.
Six or something.
Yeah, and then Carlini stepped in and distracted me.
I did not do anything.
Come on, Carlini.
I'm totally oblivious.
Just play good.
Just get a distraction.
Just play good.
You guys ready?
Yeah.
Okay.
Thank you.
Play steadily.
Steadily.
She goes.
Yeah.
I'm guessing I didn't play this against you last time.
I don't remember that.
I watched your stock video yesterday on chess.com.
Oh, okay.
Yeah.
That was the title Tuesday one?
You were talking about like different stocks.
Do you study technical analysis?
I try to avoid that these days.
I used to follow it quite a bit.
Although it's hard to know because everything is just going up regardless right now.
Right.
With indexes, I think there's some merit to it though.
If you follow the algorithm, there's a lot of bouncing off the levels like in the S&P and the NASDAQ.
Oh, wait.
Sorry.
That's okay.
No worries.
Because you said you were shorting Figma.
I was, but not anymore.
Although I think they went down quite a bit from where they were.
Yeah.
That wasn't fun when you shorted my stock.
I was going long.
On the IPO or?
Yeah, I was a mistake.
But I hope you don't mind if I try and short your position.
No, it's all good.
Are those fighting moves?
I'm trying to be aggressive, yeah.
Kind of a little.
Fair enough.
Throw up a pawn in endgame.
You should be happy.
Already?
It's not the best of pawns.
Already?
What?
There are problems on the queen side.
Yeah.
I see.
I can't look.
That's crazy.
Don't look.
Okay.
Yeah.
Don't look.
Alright.
You can look.
It could be worse.
I don't know how.
It could be worse.
There we go.
Alright, good game.
Good game, man.
I could have played that better.
Yeah.
It wasn't that bad.
Hey, guys.
Brent here.
And a great game by Ari here against Hikaru.
I mean, the first game that Ari played against Hikaru, he was up, I think, by 6.
So, maybe Hikaru not taking Ari lightly anymore.
And he just, this is just your typical grind game on the queen side here.
And Ari just trying to do his best, but it's just too much.
And Ari just, I mean, Hikaru just takes Ari into endgame with these two passers with the king.
And it's just too much.
And Hikaru has enough time.
He can definitely close it out.
But nonetheless, it was a great, great fight by Ari.
In this game, he wasn't winning by 6, but about 1.5.
We'll go over maybe how he could have kept this advantage as well as where it all went wrong here.
But this just goes to show you, man, when you're playing somebody like Hikaru, even when Hikaru's down a pawn into the endgame,
the computer still favors him because he has better activity and position of his pieces.
And so, that's something to keep in mind.
But I think for Ari here, in the game, we had Bd2, g6, and then we saw what happened.
I mean, this is still okay since the kings are off the board.
But I think it just contributed to what went on later on in the game.
So, knowing that will be another move for white here.
Yes, maybe develop on the king side instead.
And to cover this diagonal, Ng2, castle.
And this could be one continuation.
Getting ready for the outpost here.
And white is winning by 1.1.
But I think here, this was the inflection point.
Went from 0.2 to negative 1.1.
After here on out, it was all black.
So, and then we saw this eval bar just get bigger and bigger.
What would be another move for white here instead of Kf1?
Yes, maybe kick the knight, h3, and this could be one continuation.
I'm just playing computer moves because this is probably what Hikaru would do.
And basically, come here to kind of secure the queen side.
And push in the center.
This could be one continuation.
And get out of the way.
Take, take.
And, you know, rook back because white is thinking about this, this.
And sneaky stuff.
So, this could be one continuation.
And the game is a little bit better for white at 0.9.
But that just goes to show you, man.
If you don't keep your advantage, black will chip away.
Especially the number two player in the world, right?
And then once he has it, boom.
You see that shift?
Never lets it go and never goes back to white.
That's how you know you're dealing with a really, really good player.
I mean, obviously, Hikaru is very, very good.
So, it just goes to show.
But, I mean, Ari played.
Out of all the people there, this was a very solid, respectable game.
A lot of people played a lot worse.
But it's hard.
It's hard when you're the one playing, man.
Outsider sees everything.
Nicely done, Ari.
Great job by Hikaru, as always, man.
That puts on a clinic.
And teaches us.
You got to play solid, disciplined.
And it's crazy to watch him play.
Nicely done, Hikaru.
Awesome fight, Ari.
Hope you guys enjoyed it.
