Welcome to the first annual CurlSmith Curl Awards. I'm your host, Bianca Renee, and today I'm going to take you through the only award show honoring the true stars of wash day, our products. We've got a bunch of categories to cover today, so put on that deep conditioner, sit down, and get comfy. Let's get started. Our first award starts with a product that starts every routine, yet somehow still gets forgotten. The nominees for Best Leave-In Conditioner are Fragrance Free Leave-In Conditioner Weightless Air Dry Cream And the winner for Best Leave-In Conditioner is The CurlSmith Fragrance Free Leave-In Conditioner My goodness, I would like to thank all the curls that actually remembered to apply me. And for those that like to skip this step, well, we need to talk. Thank you. This category celebrates a product responsible for moisture, softness, and emotional support. Thank you to the Curl Academy. Um, I don't even know where to start. When things were dry, chaotic, emotionally frizzy, I showed up with softness. And remember, I'm not here to control your curls. I'm here to support them. Thank you. Wow. I guess. Is she even a styling cream? I think she's just a leave-in. The next award goes to a product that saved wash day when things were looking tragic. The nominees for Best Curl Comeback are Bond Curl Rehab Solve Core Strength Shampoo Bonding Oil Multitasking Conditioner And the winner for Best Curl Comeback goes to CurlSmith Bond Curl Rehab Solve Wow. I mean, what I do is a pretty selfless job. I can't say I'm not truly deserving of this award because I don't know what some of y'all would do without me. When I arrived, split ends were tragic. Freakage everywhere. It was giving before photo. I gotta give a major shout out to all heat tools, straighteners, and bleach. I see you bleach in the back. Y'all keep me employed. I believe in healing. I believe in shine. And tonight we celebrate healthy boundaries and healthy hair. Our next award goes to a product that removes everything you didn't ask for. The nominees for Best Gel are In Shower Style Fixer Fragrance Free Strong Hold Gel Hydro Style Flexi Jelly Curl Defining Styling Souffle And the winner for Best Gel goes to The Fragrance Free Strong Hold Gel. Wow, I'm speechless. When I first met Humidity, people said that our relationship wouldn't last. But look at us now, still holding strong. I want to thank every curl that trusted me to hold it together, literally. And to Frizz, this win is not for you. Thank you. She doesn't even smell like anything. Is it me or does she look a little bent up? Well, I guess that's how you look if you're squeezed all the time. I wish someone would hold me. Our next category is for the product that is just tired. Used all the time to the last drop. When is enough enough? Here are the nominees for the Most Overused Product. The Shampoos The Conditioners The Gels And the winners of the Most Overused Products goes to The Conditioners. Hell, let's go! You always buy us in jumbo size for a reason. We're the first ones to get kicked out of the shower way before shampoo. Thank you for recognizing our efforts. Detangling is not easy. Our final award tonight is one of the most prestigious honors in the curly community. The Lifetime Achievement Award. This award goes to a product that has served curls faithfully. It's the product you can trust. The one you can count on to always have a good hair day. The nominees for the Lifetime Achievement Award are Bond Curl Rehab Solve Fragrance-Free Stronghold Gel In-Shower Style Fixer Weightless Air-Dry Cream And the winner of our final curly award for Lifetime Achievement, The CurlSmith Fragrance-Free Stronghold Gel. This is the Fragrance-Free Stronghold Gel's second award of the night. Oh my god, this is such a big moment for me. I've always been a little self-conscious not having the best smell or any smell at all. I may not be the most floral or most sweet, but then I remember some of my colleagues make you sneeze. And that's not cool. So for all of you with sensitive skin or sensitive nose, I'll always be here for you. And that's what makes me the most inclusive. And honestly, that's what matters most.
