Look at that jacked up trailer. Wicked way to camp out. That's awesome.
First thing on my agenda this morning is to go do laundry and do a germ cleanup inside of my home.
Now that I'm feeling a little bit better, let's make sure all this stuff is gone.
It's been a little bit of a struggle to make videos over the past week,
at least something that's somewhat watchable and still share a little piece of my van life.
Today, while it's not going to be that exciting, I'm just cleaning my house.
This means another strip down of all my bedding.
Everything's getting an overhaul today. All my bedding stuff is fairly fresh from like two days
ago, but I ain't taking any more risks. Scrub, scrub, scrub. I'm wiping this whole thing down
top to bottom. Bye bye germs. Adios baby. Every single cable.
So yeah, I feel pretty good today. It's still in my nose a little bit,
but you can definitely feel things are on the way out. As I was cleaning the van today,
I definitely noticed a few things around my van that are showing a little bit of wear and tear.
Like I got some paints and stuff coming off in the back where I think that's getting moisture
from the door. You see a lot of bangs, chips and scratches along some of that woodwork inside of
the van. And I've pondered sometimes maybe just pulling some of those panels out, sanding it down,
giving it a refresh and repaint. But honestly, you stand two feet away, that van is still looking
good. Feels good to do a little cleanup in the van. And I grabbed this sandwich from the coffee
shop over there. Looks good. How come when I make sandwiches, they never look this good?
Look at that thing. It's a veggie salad sandwich.
All right, guys. Feeling pretty damn good today. I just made the bed, bro.
And then I lied down to try and have a nap. And this guy. Oh, he's not in the nappy mood.
Hey, what did that pillow ever do to you? What did that pillow ever do to you?
Sometimes he gets in this mood. Ever thought that maybe dad would like to get a little bit
of rest today and hopefully clear up this cold and we can go back to normal? Chris,
like I'm done. I'm done. I'm done relaxing. Dad, let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Oh,
what? Now you want to have a nap? Are you serious, bro? I want to do that. How come you get to get
all the good spots right across where my bed is? I don't think he's done playing yet.
Sneaky bugger. Are you a sneaky bugger? Look at that look. He's like, oh, I'm going to attack
you. Rawr! You little spaz. Hey, what are you going to do?
Oh, crazy. Looks like you've had enough of being sick in the van, dad. Let's go.
So this is my attempt at being adventurous today. I thought we would head back to that big open
grassy spot that I spent some time in over the last couple of videos and relax for one more
night and then get up in the morning. The cold is going to be gone. I gave my cold the eviction
notice. So it has to be out by 6 a.m. in the morning. I'm like, get out. You're done. You're
done, bro. We're done. And then tomorrow from here, we're going to head on up the mountain
and try and be a little adventurous for a couple of days. I really, really need to get out of my
Oh, I don't think that goes anywhere.
Just trying to be a little adventurous. Feels so good to feel a little bit better.
Now come outside, maniac. Hold on. There you go, buddy. Let's go, Starlink, baby. Let's go.
I love that thing. Oh, it feels so good to have a clean van again.
All right. We've got turkey, rice, some Maggie sauce because rice ain't the same without it.
Right. And we steamed up some broccolini, my favorite vegetable on the planet.
And then for the top of it, just some some Frank's hot sauce will do the trick.
Burn this cold out of me. Bye bye, cold. See you later. I'm going to burn you right out.
Oh, my nose is running now from the hot sauce.
Craving a hot chocolate, but it's like 29 degrees outside.
Look, it's 29 degrees outside, 26 inside, 29 outside. And this guy wants a hot chocolate.
Would you like a hot chocolate there, sir? It's nice to see you all nice and calm, bro.
Yeah, you you're done with your spaz attack. Hard part about
wanting a hot chocolate. Look at the goodies. OK, we've got peanut butter, hot chocolate,
turmeric, rocky road, white chocolate, salted caramel, snickerdoodle.
Oh, vanilla chai. That sounds delicious. What are we going to do? Salted white caramel.
I like this. We're going to do this one. A little germ paranoid right now.
White chocolate, salted caramel. Oh, it smells delicious. Look at that. Yes, please.
This hot chocolate did not last very long. It went down really, really quick.
I feel awesome that I had the chance today to wipe this whole van down top to bottom,
inside and out with Lysol killing everything. I wiped all the door handles on the outside,
anything that I would have ever have touched. I wipe down in this thing and it makes me feel
good. Fresh bedding. I'm ready to go to bed and wake up tomorrow with no more symptoms.
I kicked the cold out, so it better not be here. Normally at this time in the evening is where
I, over the last little bit, would just get bombarded with everything. All the symptoms
would come back from an okay day and it would just murder me all night long. Tonight I'm feeling
really, really good. It makes me optimistic for having a great, energetic and adventurous day
tomorrow. Maybe things will get back to normal. Oh, please. Oh, please. Oh, please.
I'm done whining about being sick. I've been doing a lot of whining. When I'm sick,
I'm a whiner. So freaking be it. The last video that I posted was of the square ambulance that
I bought when Lauren was out last time. That started an influx of messages on my phone from
people sending me offers. Friends of mine and just acquaintance that I've met firing me off emails
saying, hey Chrome, I'll give you this much for it. Hey Chrome, I'll give you this much for it.
They're all throwing me out dollar values. I haven't had the chance to respond to any of them
yet, but I'm not going to sell that one quite yet. So because I'm a YouTuber, I make those purchases
thinking that this could be a fun project on the channel for when I need to shake something up a
little bit. Because sometimes I get bored of editing videos with just me in it and my van in
it. Then sometimes when I'm working on the other ambulance in the shop, I get tired of doing that
one for a little bit. And then I just need to, you know, for me, it's like I don't get bored of
the project. I get bored of editing the same video. And usually if I feel bored of editing
the same video, I know you guys got to be bored on your side of it, watching that video. So
taking on this other ambulance, I figured, well, it might be a great way to shake things up if
we're in the shop a lot over a, over a cold, cold couple of weeks. And we just want to shake it up,
maybe do one week on the new ambulance and do like a seven day project, do some suspension work,
rims, tires, some pretty little things to it, and then maybe sell it. Now we're talking.
But yeah, as of right now, we're going to put that baby into storage until the time I feel like I
need to pull it out. It was just a smoking good deal. And I had some guy, this is why YouTubers
don't read comments very often. So funny. Oh my gosh. So this guy makes this comment,
even tossed me the middle finger. So there's his comment. The comment says,
always give a thumbs down when I don't hear the price, play games with fools, not with me.
I'm unsubscribing leaving by toss me the middle finger. And he spelled unsubscribing wrong
inscribing. If you're going to talk smack, bro, please just at least learn how to spell first.
Okay. He wrote that. And then I just laughed and I screenshot this. So in that video,
I actually put the ad right there. I was scrolling through my Facebook on the side
of the screen there. And there's the ad. I screenshot it. That's why I use this. I try
not to look down there sometimes because you get stuff like that. And I'm just like,
Oh, people, my plan here going forward for the winter, because in that video,
people had a lot of questions about the big ambulance project that's in the shop,
the round ambulance. That one, we're going to start working on in the winter. So probably
maybe mid October, late October, we'll start that other ambulance project. And we're doing a lot of
work to it this year. A lot. The body work, the fiberglass on it, the paint, bumpers, rims, tires,
and suspension is the plan for that thing this winter. I'm not messing around with that Ambo.
It's making some huge changes. Last year, we didn't make a ton. Well, we made a huge change
last year, but it gobbled up the budget. So we put about $10,000 into that engine. And that's
where I drew the line. That's where I'm like, Okay, I quit. We're tapping out. So this year,
we're going all in on that one. And I am super pumped up about it. Gonna take the rest of the
night here tonight. Relax, watch a little bit of Netflix. Just wanted to kind of give you guys a
little bit of an update. Because I know I've been missing tons and tons of videos recently.
And just want to let you guys know that I'm feeling a little bit better and will hopefully
be back to normal with everyday videos or at least five days a week videos or six day a week videos.
Hopefully, tomorrow. Fingers crossed. You're gonna have to come back and find out if I'm like,
in the next video. If I skip one, then you know I'm probably sick still.
No, I just put pressure on myself to make a video. Anyway, guys, I'm feeling awesome.
Thanks for being here. Thanks for all the love and well wishes from all you guys.
You've been absolutely awesome. And I'll see you guys all soon. I am.
I'm gonna go watch myself a little Netflix. I'm watching the series The Recruit.
It's really, really good. Really, really good.
Let's blow. All right. When the pants come off, that's when you guys got to leave. See ya.
