Sam Kerr: “It’s a Dream Come True” | Matildas captain on Quarter Final win over Korea DPR

I don't know. I don't know. It just feels like home here, so I feel really comfortable. But, yeah, the most important thing today is the win. Yeah, I mean, I thought it was a really good team performance defensively. They're a good side and they had a lot of the ball and there was a lot of pressure at the end of the game, end of both halves to be fair. But I think our mindset today showed we came out both times and scored early and that allowed us to go on and defend the game. No way. I mean, even the crowd today. Last time I played DPI, I don't think there was anyone in the crowd. And, yeah, where the game is now, it's a dream come true. So I'm just happy and really proud to be a part of it all. Yeah, we need you. The crowd is the difference. You know, the crowd was immense today. Got us over the line and we're going to need them again in the semifinal. These games are hard and it's an advantage for us to have the home field. So we need everyone cheering us on and hopefully they can sell out Perth Stadium. Thank you.
