Hi everyone, so today I have got all six shades of this brand new Pillow Talk product from
Charlotte Tilbury. This is the Lip Balm Tint is it? Pillow Talk Blush Balm Lip Tint. There we go,
always have to read these titles. So I'm going to swatch all of these on my lips today so we
can try them. So that's about it really, I can't wait to get started with this one.
Massive fan of Charlotte Tilbury lip products, so very excited to try these.
But they do have pH so I really don't know what to expect and when I
swatch and switch over will I be left with any colour? So let's find out together.
If you're new here, hi my name is Hannah, I'm 49 and here on my channel I show you a lot of
new releases, lots of luxury makeup like this and also some affordable if I think you're interested.
And I do upload here several times a week, I do do updates on all the products I'm testing.
So if you think you'd be interested in this sort of content I'd be over the moon if you did
subscribe to my channel, but if you're already subscribed welcome back, thank you so much for
being here, I'm truly very grateful to you. Anyway that's enough about me, let's dive
straight into this review. First of all a massive thank you to Charlotte Tilbury who
sent all of these to me for testing so I'm over the moon. So I'm actually filming this
before their launch but it'll be coming out to you when it's officially launched.
Although having said that, literally today it appeared on the app. Now something different
seems to be happening with Charlotte Tilbury releases, this happened with the concealer.
I was sent the concealer in PR as well and when we're sent PR we are asked to sign an agreement
basically so that we don't release our reviews until a certain date, which is absolutely fine
because you know the brand's given us the product, but what seems to happen is they drip feed the
launches until the official launch date. So this will come out to you on the official launch date
but some of you will have probably picked this up or maybe even seen reviews of it
because people who are buying the products obviously can review it whenever they want to
but I have to stick with the agreement I've made with the brand. So what seems to be happening is
they launch, like a pre-launch if you like, on the app for one day only and then they come off.
So if you don't get them on that date you have to wait until they come up on the website but
they also seem to come out on their website or maybe Selfridges or in different places.
It seems to launch for about one day and stop again. This is what happened with the concealer
anyway. It's certainly happening with the app today and I think it'll be off again tomorrow
so you can get it today on the app, you might not be able to get it tomorrow. I'm saying that
talking when it's a week ahead now so when I say today I mean last week. Is that confusing to you?
It's confusing to me to be honest but anyway the official launch day is the day this video is being
uploaded so I'm sticking with my agreement to the brand but you may have already seen these
many times by now, who knows. So let's start. I'm going to choose a favourite, a predicted favourite.
Let's put them in order of what I think I will like the most that goes with spring looks actually
because there's a deep brown which I wouldn't particularly think of as spring and obviously
there's a red which I'm immediately assuming would be my least favourite and there's two pinky ones
so we'll do those last. So let's start with the shade and it's, I'm trying to read it, Cherry Talk.
So this is the box they come in. I've kept the boxes because they have a nice bold labels here,
the names and I thought it'd be easier for me in this review than trying to read this. I mean look
how small that is so I need a magnifying glass and my glasses to read that so I've got no chance.
Anyway, packaging, absolutely gorgeous. I mean not everyone loves Charlotte Tilbury packaging,
I absolutely love it. See how it's got this sort of beveled bit here, look at it. Charlotte Tilbury
knows how to make things very blingy, doesn't she? She does it, she does it well. So this one and I
say this would be my least favourite but because it's a balm I probably really like it. I don't
like a bold red on me but I don't mind a soft red. It's a very bright red though, isn't it?
Actually before I try them on let's get some information about the product. I'm jumping the
gun here. I've got a lot of information because Charlotte Tilbury does like to give us a lot so
let's see what it says. Three in one sheer lipstick, lip balm and lip tint. A blushed,
oh that's the shade, sorry. So we have the six shades if we said, repigments and re-texturises
the appearance of the lips for a lip blush effect which is very much the in thing at the moment,
lip blush, isn't it? We've had it from YSL, from Merit, a number of different places. So this is
sheer, super wearable lip colour with up to eight hours wear. PH custom colour chemistry,
so a lot of people don't like PH but they love it so let's see. I happen to really like it.
This will bloom with your lips for a shade that is unique to your lips, has 92% skincare with
hydrating botanical butters plus youth boosting peptides. So I'm looking now at the longer list
of details from Charlotte which is pretty much repeating that. So let's just go straight into
the shades. Cherry talk, this one, a sheer cherry kiss for a just bitten effect. Okay so let's look
at it on my hand before it goes onto my lips. Oh this does look like quite a wearable colour for me.
This is the brightest, let's put it on, lovely formula. This is reminding me of the Westman
Atelier, the new one that's come out from them which has a lovely hydration but it's not too
runny, it has a grip and that's exactly what this has. Oh I really like this one,
and it's a red, oh I like this. You see I just used the edge then to line and it worked, it's
giving me a more crisp line. I don't know if I could do that here, yeah I can. Oh that is lovely,
is it going to change? I'm not being overly precise here so don't judge my application
because I'm taking them straight off. Oh that is lovely, I love that. Very easy to apply,
plenty of pigment with that, plenty. I'm just looking around to see if I've got my Westman
Atelier with me. I must have them around because I've been using them all the time but as usual
it's just utter chaos here on my desk. Do I have any of them? Where would I have put them? That is
a bit strange because I love them so much. Okay I must have put them in my review box so I won't
search through that but anyway I do know for sure that this is a very similar formula
but feels extremely comfortable. Oh this is good, this is very very good. So what do you think of
the deepest shade which is, I say deepest, the brown is probably as deep if not deeper,
so this one is Cherry Talk. Let's go straight in next with the next one. This is my order of
my predicted likelihood, let's see if I change it by the end. So this is the next one and this
is the shade and it is called, gosh I can't even read that, 90s Kiss which we did have in
a lipstick formula didn't we, 90s Kiss I think. Anyway I won't go looking for that now. So 90s
Kiss is described as a sheer muted brown for that effortless 90s confidence. Let's do a swatch,
I'll try and keep them all on my hand so you can see them together. Now this one doesn't look quite
as deep so it is the second deepest. Now this is not a shade I would pick for spring summer,
it could be a beautiful one moving into sort of autumn winter so let's now take this off,
see if it comes off easily or is it going to leave quite a bit of colour. It is coming off
but not easily so this is going to last you know which is really good news. I think they're going
to last a good few hours, not eight hours like it said but I think it will last a good few hours.
So let's now try the 90s, definitely a lot less pigment with this one, so I'm being quite generous
trying to build up the colour here. So that's quite a difference isn't it in pigment. Now the
Westman Atelier had really good pigment as well. I'm starting to see the pigment come through
as I'm building it, possibly the pH kicking in a bit as well there. I'm really having to build
it a lot to get the colour I would like. I can see a hair in my vision somewhere and I can't
see it in the mirror, it's driving me mad. Anyway, I like it but I'm not a massive fan of that one,
I have to have to say that's not my colour. So that one is 90s Kiss, what do you think?
It's certainly very wearable but yeah not a favourite. So let's get this one off and we'll
move to I think all of the next ones I'm going to really like the shades, that was my prediction
anyway, but Cherry I really liked. So the next one we're going to try, that came off a bit more
easily as well didn't it? Maybe it's more of a pigment issue than a tint. The next one is Blushed
Jam, oh I like that name. So Blushed Jam is a sheer blushed mulberry, again it says it's a rush of
seduction for Charlotte isn't it. So I do, by the way I always forget this, I have a 15% off discount
code for Charlotte Tilbury so I'll pop it on the screen while I remember now because I always forget.
Oh this one looks deeper than the 90s, maybe not. Oh it's a nice colour this, this will be popular,
that's a gorgeous colour. Here it is in the bullet, it looks quite very deep in the bullet.
See the shine there on the top from where it's, where I've taken the surface off. Anyway let's put
this on, you can see how easy these are. I'm not going to try and line the lips again though because
it's just going to get harder for me to take off. Oh yeah I prefer this colour. Now if I was buying
online I probably wouldn't have thought this one would work, looking at the colours, but now I'm
seeing it on me. I do have quite pink lips, they do seem to change, like a lot of people say that
lipsticks that are cool look quite warm on me for instance. I think my lips have a bit of pink in
them and they also warm up colours, so it's worth always keeping that in mind that no lip swatch will
look the same on anyone, on everyone else. So when you look at a picture on a website as well it's
really not very helpful, so this is just a rough idea. I think sometimes looking at it on my hand
is a better idea because that way you might know how it will translate to your own lip colour.
Yeah that one is very nice, this is my autumn winter shade, that is lovely, I love that one.
So, so far it's sort of in order, my order was nearly correct but not quite,
so let's now get this one off and now we're moving into berries and pinks, my happy place.
So the next one, this is Blushed Rose, I said berry but this has, this looks a bit berryish to me
on the label. Let's see how it looks in the bullet, yeah it does have a sort of berry tone to it
doesn't it? Let's put this one on, it's worth noting as well with the pH, even the way they
look on my hand might be different because I know that's down to the chemicals, not the chemicals,
the chemistry is it, of your skin and everyone's pH is different, so the way that my skin
chemistry will change the colour might be slightly different to yours, which is why pH is very much
a personal thing. Anyway, that is a very nice colour, I'd say my, no I'd say that's my favourite
so far, looking at it on my hand. Let's look at it on the lips, let's just see the full description
actually. Blushed Rose, sheer rosewood veil, so if you know the rosewood shade, very popular isn't
My husband's watching, you should make me look in love because I am very much in love with my
husband and if he is watching he'll know that I just said that because he's very soppy. Oh yes,
I like this, it doesn't make me look more in love than before I put it on. Oh I love these,
they are really nice to take on and off as well, I'm not having any problems with my lips drying
out and I'm only using a baby wipe which is not very gentle on my lips to remove it but they are
so easy. That is gorgeous, I love that one. So that one and the, not the 90s, the Blushed Jam,
they're my top two so far. I'll never be able to find out which one's which because they all look
exactly the same and I can't read the bottom. I'll have to take the cap off to figure these out,
that's annoying actually but anyway, that's a favourite, that's a definite favourite.
So let's, I should have put them all back in their boxes, I can't keep them in their boxes forever
though, there's too much space, plus these are too pretty to be kept in their box and they need
their own sort of little display shelf because they are so nice. Have I got one of my Charlotte
Tilbury lip oils here because I was thinking how nice it would look next to it. I might top it with
that at the end, you know. Anyway, let's move to the next one, Pillow Talk. Who doesn't love
Pillow Talk? This is the Universally Flattering Shade from Charlotte, so what's she saying about
this? Medium, sheer, cool rose. I've never thought of Pillow Talk as a cool rose, it's always been
like a peachy pink, inspired by the Pillow Talk Medium. So Pillow Talk Medium is like a peachy
pink on me. So will this be a sheer cool rose? So here is how it looks. That's not sheer,
that's not cool surely. Maybe, maybe it's just because my lips change everything into warm for
some reason. So here it is, that's not cool rose, is it? Anyway, my lips are starting to get quite
pink now, more so than usual and I think that's the pH effect happening, so that's why.
Something I can't remove, it's just sinking into my lip. This is not really showing up much.
So this would be a sort of Your Lips But Better shade on me, I think. Oh, it is showing up a bit
now. It's funny, they just definitely sort of melt in and kick in. Don't judge them by that first
minute on the lip. Give it a little bit longer, or first 10 seconds rather. Yeah, that's more than
Your Lips But Better. That is giving me a little bit of colour, but this is the least amount of
colour I've seen so far. Probably the most wearable shade, as always, with Pillow Talk,
though, and this will go with any look. You can put this on blind, I'm sure, very easily. If I
don't look, I know I already had some, but my point is you could just quickly bang that on
without looking in a mirror and you'd probably be pretty safe. I've just noticed I've got a bit of
mascara there. Very annoying. Do you know what? This is Lisa Eldridge mascara, the best mascara
on the planet that never ever smudges, and in the last sort of week, I've been getting smudging.
What's going on there? Anyone else suddenly have that happen? Do you think it's because I need to
change it and it's gone off? Anyway, I'm going off topic. But yeah, this can be worn with just
about anything. Good for a sort of natural look. Certainly one to put in your handbag for ease of
use, everyday looks, work. That's what I would think of with this one. Definitely not a favourite
because I do like a bit more colour, so it's okay. I like it. I wouldn't choose to purchase it now
I've seen it on, but I'm very grateful it was sent to me. Don't get me wrong. And I'd probably still
use it. And it'd be very useful to me, for my channel, because I can do comparisons for you
on videos like this. So I'm very grateful when I get PR. I don't get much, but when I do, I'm
superbly grateful. So here is the last one. This is the one I've placed at number one, presuming it'd
be my favourite. And this one is Pillow Talk Medium. So, Pillow Talk. Oh, wait a minute. This
is the Sheer Cool Rose one. So Pillow Talk, the one I just tried on, I read you the wrong
description. It does say Sheer Nude Pink Tint, inspired by the iconic Pillow Talk. So that was
why it didn't look cool. Sorry. This is Pillow Talk Medium, which is a Sheer Cool Rose, inspired
by Pillow Talk Medium. So this one, I didn't look at the name of it, but I assumed from the colour
we're getting on the box that this would be my shade. And it certainly looks my shade. Although
I don't remember Pillow Talk Medium being particularly cool on me. Anyway, Pillow Talk
Fair is the one that's cool on me. I love Pillow Talk Fair. Probably got it sitting right by there,
I do, actually. So there it is. Would you like a comparison with Pillow Talk Fair? Like I said,
I'm sure this is the one sitting on my desk because it doesn't really leave my desk.
Pillow Talk. I need my... I didn't need my magnifying glass to read the bottom of these
lipsticks. It's saying, yep, Pillow Talk, and it said Red Carpet. You've got an idea of how bad my
eyesight's become. Pillow Talk Fair, there it is. So this one is my best choice from the Charlotte
range for everyday lip cool tone. I'll just show you these two next to each other. This one is more
cool tone than Pillow Talk Fair. I love Pillow Talk Fair. It's a gorgeous lip. I love the liner
and I love the... It's saying about the liner. Shall I use the liner to finish this look?
It should be the shortest one in the box. Yeah, straight away I found it and there's about 50
over there. I found it because it's the shortest one. It's my most used. So let's pop that on.
I loved it when Charlotte launched the Fair and the Pillow Talk. I put them straight into the
pots to the left, to the right of me, to your left. They've never left. They've been in regular rotation
ever since. It's just my lip colour. It just gives it a more defined line. It's my perfect everyday
liner shade. So now let's try Pillow Talk Medium on. Oh yeah, that is my shade. This is my everyday
shade. This is really nice and possibly the best shade I've tried compared to all of the other lip
blushes we've had because this is so perfect for me. So I love the Westman Atelier. I mean, I haven't
tried all the shades of Westman Atelier and I haven't tried all the shades of the Merit
or the YSL and I love all of them. I'd say Westman Atelier is my favourite out of those three so
but now, formula-wise, I think this matches it. It's as good but the colour, this colour, it beats it.
So this is probably my favourite lip blush I've got and I've tested all of the ones that have
launched and most shades that suit me anyway. So there we go. Stunning. I said I would look for the
lip gloss. Let me see. Hopefully I can grab this for you straight away. So excuse looking at my
back but I do keep this very close. So I've got two of these. I wanted to really show you. I just
got two. I thought I had three. Anyway, maybe. I do. I don't know. Anyway, which one should I try?
I wanted to see them side by side. This is the Big Lip Plumpgasm and I just think next to each other.
They're quite something, aren't they? You do have to love Charlotte though. She's over the top for
sure. So the one I want to try is the pinky one. This is the one that launched for Christmas I
think, isn't it? The Strawberry Chocolate. Yeah, this was the Christmas release. I haven't had an
excuse to put it on for a while so let's top this with a bit. You don't need to do this by the way.
You've got absolutely enough gloss but I just wanted to. Oh, that chocolate smell. Oh, it's so good.
Instant tingle which I love. It's like a powerful cold tingle. I know I'm not reviewing that but I
love it. Oh, doesn't that go nicely with Pillow Talk? Pillow Talk Medium. So there we go.
So we've established my favourite is Pillow Talk Medium. My second favourite was the Mulberry,
the Blushed Jam. So that's this one here. So this one and this one. The cooler toned ones obviously
but I think if I was going to pick a third favourite, funnily enough, it would be this
which I put as my bottom which is quite a surprise. That one looked really nice on.
Anyway, what are your thoughts on all of these? Have you picked them up already? Have you watched
a million reviews before mine? Because I can't put my review up yet and if you have, if you
already purchased and tried them or gone in store and tried them, whatever your thoughts and
whatever your experiences are, please do let me know in the comment section below. I love to read
them but also anyone watching might find them helpful as well. And a massive thank you again
to Charlotte Tilbury for sending me all of these. I felt truly privileged to be sent them all. I'm
very lucky and I'm over the moon that I can do them all for you because if I was going to purchase
these on launch day, I probably would have got maybe three shades, two shades, so it's really
nice I'm able to do that. It makes it really helpful for you hopefully and very helpful on me
when I don't have to pay for everything all the time because it does get a bit pricey reviewing
all these products, so I'm really grateful to Charlotte. And don't forget I've got my discount
code, so again I'll pop it on the screen again as I'm mentioning it. That means I have to remember
in my editing to do that, Hannah. Discount code. Anyway, if you did enjoy this video, please do
hit the like button, it's ever so helpful to me and if you're not subscribed, I'd be really, really
pleased if you did subscribe to my channel. But if you're already subscribed, you are here at the end
of another review and I'm so grateful, I really, really am and I do hope to see you all again for
my next video. Take care, everybody. Bye!
