Surprising My Dogs With a Christmas Tree 🎄 In 2024!

Oh my goodness! Guess what we're doing today? We're going to get a Christmas tree! See the dogs are all decked out. Peek out this way. It's snowing and we're going to get our tree. Oh my goodness! Who's ready to go get a tree? I think you guys can drag the tree all the way home if you wanted to. Get in! We got one! We got two! And then of course... The queen! We're in! Let's go get this tree on this beautiful snowy day. This is the view we get going to get our Christmas tree. I mean... Kind of can't beat this view. We have made it to Dean's tree farm. Let's go get a Christmas tree. You think they're excited about getting their tree? Dun-dun-dun-dun! Look at them go! That's a pretty good trot. We can trot like this for a little bit, huh? Might be a little bumpy on the camera. We do need our sled. Look at these trees. Ok, so we're in their forest now. How beautiful everything is. Oh my goodness! What did you find? Something amazing? A critter? Maybe? Maybe not. They got jingle bells on. Oh my goodness! You gonna shake a tree? They all found whatever she found. It smells amazing! It is great! We love it! Oh my goodness! You girls have snows on you! Memphis is like, this is so awesome! This is the greatest day of my life ever! Creme of trees and snow! Alright! Pull Santa! Santa don't need reindeer. Santa needs some Huskies! Huskies can't fly, but they sure think they can. Are you magical Huskies? Alright! Let's go find a tree! Ready to pick out your tree? Look! They got snow on them. We have to let them sit in the garage for a little bit. So many pretty trees! We found a tree! We found a tree! It is a... What did we say? A balsam? Alright! We got it! Give it to him and he's gonna wrap it for us! I'm not going anywhere! I say, we can lay it down and tie it to the dogs and make them drag it. What you think about that? Yeah! That's what needs to happen! Oh my goodness! We picked a tree. We picked a balsam. We picked an already cut tree. I love this tree here, which is a blue spruce, but they are super pokey. We're not gonna go with the pokey tree. Nobody's getting poked in the nose. They're gonna wrap your trees! Kind of like wrapping presents. Only we're wrapping a tree. What you think of that? I think he upgraded. You're right! I think he upgraded from last year. This one actually has power. It's not a hand crank. The other one was big. Yeah! There comes the tree! Yeah! And now it's going on the Jeep! There's the tree! Jamie's gonna strap it down and we're gonna head on out of here! Oh my goodness! Here it comes! Did we do it? Oh! We did it! It's not too tall! Kira's like, I'm out! See you later! We gotta unwrap the tree Kira! See what we think! Does it smell like outside? Are you gonna try to eat it? That's what you did the last time. Remember I tried to eat it? Are you ready for it? She did! She nibbled on it! I don't have any... I don't have any cookies in my pocket! Yeah! They know! They know what the tree means! Memphis is like, I've been doing this for a lot of years! I gotta fluff the tree! Alright! Time to open up the tree! Okay! Here we go! Eleanor's like, what's happening? It might hit you in the face Elle! It might pop! She's like, can I eat the bondage one? Can I eat the tree? It might not pop! It might need a little bit of time to... You're gonna get it in the face Elle! She's like, what is going on dad? Maybe... Oh! There it is! She's like, Whoa! That's your tree! You picked it out! Yeah! We gotta let it fluff for a day so that we can put ornaments on it! What you think of that? It smells amazing! It does smell amazing! What you think? She's like, I'm ready! You ready? We gotta let it fluff out and then we'll put some ornaments and some lights on it! So, do they know that they're helping you put lights on the tree? Or do they know that you secretly have snacks in your pocket? We got the tree! We got the lights! I love how thin this tree is this year! It's not fat down at the bottom like last year! Good job! She's like, just give me the lights! Oh! There you go! Just decorate Memphis! There you go Memphis! You're all decorated! Now, it's wrapped around her ankle! She's like, look! I'm helping! Let me get the antenna! Oh, you did it on your own! I say, just wrap them around the dogs and see how that goes! Eleanor is like, walk around the tree? Is that what we're doing? We're walking around the tree! I'll give you this snack! You better give me a snack! Maybe! We're such good helpers! We're like Santa's elves! Yeah! Eleanor is cutting you off in the path! She's like, Hi dad! I'm helping! Kira is doing it right! She's like, I'm following you! That's what I'm supposed to do! Follow while you put the lights on the tree! She might! She's like, I'm done following you! Oh! Here comes Memphis! Memphis! Memphis can't catch you! Oh wait! She stopped on the side! Oh my goodness! Here she comes! Eleanor is coming back towards you! Memphis is coming back towards you! Thanks dad! I'm just helping! Look at me! I'm such a good helper! I don't know! Right now, I think the best Christmas tree helper is Kira! Cause she's like, standing and waiting so patiently! Unlike the other two, which are like, we know where the snacks are at! Kira's like, look! I'm patient! Alright! Let's get the lights on the tree! Yeah! You have tons of lights! Tons of lights! Memphis says, just decorate and eat it! Kira's like, look! I'm decorated! There you go Memphis! You're all decorated! Look how cute you are! She's like, I'm the cutest puppet on the planet! She's like, give me the snack! I did it! Give me the snack! Decorate somebody else! Everybody's decorated! Look at that! And the lights are on the ground! Get some snacks for being such great helpers! Kira's watching squirrel friend! I think, we're about done with the lights on the tree! She's like, I helped! I was the best helper ever for putting lights on the tree! You got the random extra! The only downside to a real tree! Aww yeah! Just a few! Hi Memphis! She's like, I'm helping put up a crematory! This is so much fun! Elinor's like, this is great! I'm learning this! She's like, this is my third year helping! I got it all figured out now! Kira's like, I don't know about this puppy stuff! Whoa! Look out Elinor! She got to take out the tree! Alright! Time to put the topper on! Those of you that have been here for a while, you know what's coming next! Alright! Tree topper time! She won't remember that smell! None of them ever got to meet her! That's the OG dog man! That's Shiloh's collar! Our Shiloh tree topper! That's her actual collar and her tag! It goes up on our tree! She's like, let me check out the tree topper! What you think El? You want to check it out? What is it? Can I play with it? That's the tree topper! Aren't you sweet? Alright! It should! Jamie's kind of got it on the back so that it's got a little hole that goes over. You can go right over this. Yep! This is for the... for the... Oh! Right! It goes down into the... and also over the top. This also creates a little bit of stability. We wrapped some lights around it so it's a light up tree topper but Shiloh gets to be on the top of our tree. Look at that! Perfect! Look at that! There's our tree topper! The really cool thing is once he gets this plugged in you'll see the lights cast onto the ceiling and at night it kind of looks like northern lights up there. Which is my favorite part about it. Yep! Too cool! There she is! Are you ready to hang the first ornament? We're not eating it. This is our 2024 ornament for 2024. Now, do you see why we put a gate around our tree? Wanna hang it up? There you go! Don't chew on it! Memphis, do you want to see it? There's your 2024 ornament for this year! Show it to Kira! What you think? You're the only one that wants to eat it! It's not chewable ma'am. OK! Let's put it right there in the middle. Look at that! There we go! Perfect! 2024 Christmas tree! Now I gotta find all the rest of my ornaments. Put them up here and in a flash show you guys what it's gonna look like! And of course, as per tradition the homemade Shiloh ornament with the donut on it. If you guys don't know we have a very old video where Shiloh ate an entire box of Krispy Kreme donuts. It's a very old video but this is a custom ornament that goes on our tree every year because of that. Look at these amazing helpers! You're such a great helper! Look at these amazing helpers! I'm pretty sure putting up the Christmas tree wore out the dogs. The grand reveal! Are you ready for it? The 2024 Christmas tree! I found the snow dogs! This is the 16th year we've made this video for you guys which is kind of crazy when you think about it. I'm not fully done with all that stuff up there but pretty close! But here's the tree!
