I wanted to be really good. In other words, if I could be the number one guy I
wanted to be. I love that. You know everybody has fear and one of my
favorite quotes the first time I ever paid attention to a quote and
unfortunately I was never able to find out who it was from but it's the fear of
failure limits your activities. However, the act of failing allows you to
begin again more wisely. Okay so you learn from your mistakes right you know
so and a lot of us are afraid to make mistakes yeah especially when it comes
to money. Yeah there's another quote I like that's similar to yours that says
the cost of failure is something like is nothing compared to the price of regret.
Yes. Most people think real estate investing is something that you do on
your own or alone but the truth is the best deals and the biggest deals happen
when you get yourself in the right room and you're partnered with the right
people. That's something that we talk about every week on this channel and
that's why most of you guys would subscribe. We believe real estate
investing is a team sport and today I'm here with one of my newest business
partners. We've got a deal that we're doing together and he's also a part of
our mastermind group the Rainmakers group so I'm here today with Edward
Almanara. Ed we're gonna have a conversation today we're just gonna talk
about your story. Your story is very impressive. Your ability to think big for
me is something that really excites me and so let's jump in. Hello everybody
Ed at Almanara. I'm an architect not practicing. I've been on an
entrepreneur I would say 25, 26, 27 years at construction management. I've done
some construction, commercial roofing. Right now what I have is a let's say a
broker management business in the waste and recycling industry and we have a one
franchise location that my son is running and now real estate. And now real
estate. Guys Ed undersells everything at every turn there so he's got the
very best smoothie company on the island called Crush. My wife and I freaking love
it and we go every chance we can get. He's in business with his son on that
which is super exciting and then he makes a living doing the waste
management stuff and it pays for life and allows you to do this real estate
stuff. And oh by the way when he says he does some construction management he
does high-rises guys. This guy's not fooling around. This is big-time. The
stuff that you've done is impressive. Yeah it's a well we did the Monacillo
Towers in College Park. 132 units. Yeah. And I was construction director for the
largest shopping mall developer on the island. So I was a part of the
construction of Plaza El Sol, Plaza Escorial, Plaza El Norte, Plaza Calle. A number of them so
that was an awesome school. Yeah. That was an awesome school for me. That sets you up with a
skill set that translates really well to what you're jumping into now as a real
estate investor. In fact we're gonna get into the deals that you're doing. They're
renovate a house that you know maybe a $50,000 renovation. This is just gonna be
something you can do in your sleep. Yeah yeah I do have a hard time. I have the
always the imposter syndrome that everybody has but and and I do
undersell myself but I'm going to try to hold back on that. Yeah they're gonna be
relatively easy projects for me. I think so yeah. What about real estate investing
kind of captured your interest and got you working down going on this path? Well
that's interesting because I've always as an architect when I was sitting
across a table from a contractor and a developer and looking at what the
developer was doing. This comes from Florida. Developers in Florida are not
the developers that are civil engineers here in Puerto Rico. It's a lot more
difficult. But I saw myself on the in the other
chair. Yeah. So when I was younger I thought big and then I went through a
for a little while. But uh so I've always been interested and basically I get
bored quickly. So my my the waste and recycling management business I have a
really good staff and they run 95% of the business. Yeah. Really my you know they
don't need me for very much. My son runs the other business. So I actually watched
a video. I've been watching your videos and I saw the Apex community and I just
said you know what I'm just gonna sign up. I didn't think about it. I just did
it because I needed to push myself to get in. Yeah. Okay because I was in a
state of mind that I stopped thinking big. And I said well you know I've always
talked about doing that stuff. But let's do this. I like how you presented
yourself. How easygoing. So I took the jump. You know for Apex that wasn't a big
deal. And then when the Rainmaker opportunity came up it was a no-brainer
for me. That you were the first one who signed up. You know we did this launch of
a mastermind which has been a dream of mine for a long time. And and at the end
of the three-day presentation we're asking people to join us. And I you talk
about being scared. I was like in my mind I'm like no one's gonna join us. Right? And you were the
first one. And so that was for me that's always gonna be that's always gonna hold
a special place for me. That was very cool. And then you talked about in your
past you thought big and then you kind of moved away from being a big thinker.
You you kind of got locked into maybe not thinking so big. But at this point Ed
you're one of the biggest thinkers if not the biggest thinker in our Rainmakers
group inside of our mastermind. I mean we looked at a project today that it's
definitely next level for me. I mean it's it's bigger than my biggest project. And
if if we do it and pull it off it's a game-changer. Right? Like for both of us
we could make millions of dollars. How did you go from thinking big not
thinking big and then and then now you're back to and I I love big thinkers
guys. So I'm really excited to hear this part of the story. But how did you how
did you get there? Back in 2013-2014 I had a very successful commercial
group in business. In Florida or in Puerto Rico? Here in Puerto Rico. And we were doing
large projects all commercial industrial. And my basically my partner got stupid.
And we had to dissolve the company. Oh no. So then right after that on a personal
note I lost my younger son in 2014. So I took an economic hit and then I took an
emotional hit. Yeah. You know so I wasn't I went into survival mode. And then you
know as I'm maintaining myself Maria hits affects everybody on the island of
Puerto Rico. Devastating. So the brokerage management of waste and
recycling that was a difficult time for us. Well we restructured for quite a few
months with the services we were provided. We because of my construction
background and stuff we went into demolition work. We did the cleanup. Oh. I
got my staff. I actually had them sit down and write and I'm not gonna lose my
job. I'm not gonna miss a payroll. And you know we figured it out. So that again
you know we survived that. And then everybody in Puerto Rico and across the
world COVID. COVID I had to actually let go of one of my biggest clients.
Because of the structure that we had. I was about 60% of my business. That's a
big deal. So you know talk about surviving. And we pulled through. About a
year later they called me back and they said we need you to do it. So you got to
come back. So I said well we need to restructure it. So I'm not realizing that
I went into a survival mode. I never realized that. Yeah. Okay. And I never
realized that I was I stopped thinking big. So we had the presentation the first
one with David Stech. Yeah. Okay. Not the Rainmaker one. Right. And you know I you
asked somebody if you know if somebody wanted to talk make themselves
vulnerable. And you know I'm very transparent. I don't have a problem doing
that. So I said you know what I'm gonna do it. Right. It worked to my advantage
in a in a in a big way. Because while you know when I said to you guys I stopped
thinking big. You guys started uh you know giving me advice and stuff like
that. But at the same time I was doing I was reflecting. And I started to realize
what was what had happened over the last 10 12. Yeah. Years and why it put me in
that survival mode. Right. You know. Life hit you hard. Yeah. And when as I'm
thinking that I heard a little voice in the back of my head. And the little boy
said you don't deserve it. That was powerful because you know without
getting deeper into my childhood and stuff like that. That's that's something
that comes from the childhood. My childhood. And when I heard that little
voice I said wait a second. And I actually wrote down you know start
thinking big. And you know and I quoted I don't deserve this. And I started asking
myself why why why I said that. And the impressive part is there was a big
revelation for me. You know it was a big aha moment. And my wife gets home. My wife
of 34 years. 37 together. I have a wonderful partner in life. That's hard to
say without getting choked up. She's my best friend. Always has been.
And she's been my biggest supporter. Always. Always. Strange thing is after I
have that strong revelation. She gets home and I start talking about the day.
And just before you say anything I need to tell you something. I was driving home
and I was thinking. And it's real simple. You deserve it.
That blew me away. That blew me away because I just like I couldn't say
anything. And I just showed her the paper. And I'm like you know look what I
wrote today. And then she just went on. She's like you know you. I wish you could
see yourself through my eyes. I wish you could see yourself through our children's
eyes. And you know you deserve it. Go for it. Don't think. She actually told me
don't think about us. Don't think about our children. Don't think about me. Do it
for yourself. Wow. You know. And what an amazing vote of confidence that is.
Wow. And to come on the back of you writing down I don't deserve it and the
first thing she says when the next time you see her is you deserve this. Holy cow.
Yeah. If that's not the universe speaking into your life I don't know what is.
Right. Yeah. Absolutely. That's a God. That's a God incident. We call them that.
Believers. Yeah. Yeah. That's really a powerful story. Yeah. Thinking big. I
basically said you know what let's let's turn the volume up. Mm-hmm. Let's do this.
You know. And when the Rainmaker opportunity came up. Well first the
opportunity came up to invest with you in the condominium. Right. We're in a deal
together before before we're ever in the mastermind again. Yeah. You know. So I
said you know my main first I saw it as a good investment but the driver was
that I was gonna invest with you. Yeah. Because I wanted to get close to you.
You know. I said you know they talk about surrounding yourself with people. Right.
Okay. So so the the Condado project that was the the motivator but then when the
Rainmaker opportunity came up I said I want to get exposure to a lot of other
people. Yeah. And this is gonna help me push the envelope on thinking big. I mean
they say we've heard you know you you're the sum of the people you surround
yourself with and when you get stuck in a place where you're not thinking bigger
one of the most powerful things that you can do is put yourself in a room of
people and you have them in your life not just with us and Rainmakers but you
have other people in your life that think big that do big things. Yeah. And so
surrounding yourself with those people and you will become like those people or
you won't stay around those people. Right. Like that's if and one of the things
that I'm excited about for Rainmakers is that you are a big thinker. You're
looking at projects that are bigger than many of the other Rainmakers and because
you're in there and they're around it it's going to pull them up. Right. And
that's something that we've seen as entrepreneurs really for almost three
decades. Our ability or my ability to go out and start to do something has
consistently brought people that are close to me along with me and that's
kind of one of the things that drives us and why we expand through partnerships
is because I also want to be around people that are looking at doing bigger
deals. Right. Like for me we talked about this earlier we looked at a big project
today guys and we'll get to it hopefully we'll get to do it. And we're looking at
a bigger one tomorrow. We're gonna look at a bigger one tomorrow and either one
of them are game changers. You know what's really the biggest life changes
it won't be the one deal. It'll be that we do a deal like that and then there
will be another and another and that's absolutely that is and the amount of
people that when you do these big deals that you can bring along side of you.
It's I mean it's way more right because it's millions of dollars. We don't we
don't have to just think oh it's it's 50 grand and we're gonna we're gonna make
20 grand a piece. We're talking about several million dollars. There's there's
plenty of room for different people with different expertise who can come along
and and get into that partnership. Yeah. Yeah it's it's big time. The other thing
with the Rainmakers and getting involved in meeting people let's say that you
know investors and things like that. You know people don't take you seriously if
you don't if they don't know you. Mm-hmm. You know and I I had a situation years
ago and one of the construction sites where somebody tried to give me some
cash to to give them a heads up you know and it was unethical. Mm-hmm. It wasn't
illegal. It was unethical. Right. And basically I told them all I have is my
last name and that's not worth any amount of money. Your reputation is too
valuable. And what the opportunity that I see with the you know the knowledge that
I can bring and you know the way I work I have an opportunity to build a
reputation with people who have capital investors. Right. And then the
opportunity to continue doing projects. Yeah. Because I'm you know not looking to do
one and stop. Exactly. No you've hit the ground running right. So we've only been
at this for two months really right. We're just at the very start of March
now and we really launched this mastermind at the start of the year of
2026 and you've already you're in you're in a deal with me right before you you
join the mastermind with us. But then you've already done three more deals
since then. We've closed. I've closed on one house that we're gonna flip waiting
to close on the second one. Okay. I closed on one with a wholesaler and we're just
gonna wholesale. Yep. And so that's four. Yeah. That's four projects. One with
one with me one with the wholesaler that's gonna be really fast and some
pretty impressive cash flow. One you're gonna do a fix and flip where you're
gonna do the whole thing and then one you're about to close. I think there's
one more that Anon wants you to do with them in Ponce. Yeah yeah I'm
interested. Yeah I know a little bit about it. Yeah yeah yeah. So four or five
deals in a very very short period of time. How does that feel? You know it's
interesting because I I realized the other day that I was thinking about how
come I'm not signing another one. Yeah. And I wasn't thinking and I said wait a
second you know what I need to celebrate what I have done. Yes. In this
short period of time. It doesn't mean I'm not anxious to sign the next one. Of
course. Of course. What's been your experience now I mean you've only been
at this a couple of months but you and I have had conversations about
conversations you've had with people where you you now start to say hey I'm
investing in real estate I'm doing this stuff. How has that changed because you're
letting people know that hey I've bought three houses or I'm doing this
next house. What happens to these conversations that you have? It creates
synergy because you don't really you don't you don't think you know I just
kind of you don't mention it and maybe they take it back and they think about
it for a while and then they'll come back and you know what are you doing and
how you doing it. You know I've had a couple of hard money offers and they're
like well when you do the next one can I lend you the money. Yeah. So it starts to
open up other avenues of revenue. Right. And so I can grow quicker using my
capital and using other people's money. Yeah that's right. Yeah. So we all run out
I mean nobody's pockets are so deep that you're not gonna eventually need to
find partners. Right. And so then that's something that some of you may start
with no money at all and if you find a great deal you can find the guy who like
a Don's got a deal and he's gonna talk to you about it and maybe you put some
money in. But eventually you're not gonna be able to keep writing checks and so
you're now having these conversations and people are like hey Ed I want to
give you some money man. Let me make 10-12 percent on my money because it's
just sitting in the bank doing nothing right. Making less than a 1 percent a
year probably. And that kind of being able to point to the track record of
success that you have really starts to build your confidence and that story so
that what you're what you're describing will only get easier and it'll come at
you fast too. You'll literally have people just like Ed I want to be in the
next deal. I'm looking forward to it. Yeah it happens it happens quick too. Let's
talk about something that that I really love about your story. You're not just
doing this alone starting out. You've got your son involved Gabby and he's doing
this with you. How does how does that how does that work? First of all with the
franchise location. Yeah. My son studied a master's degree in something
completely different and unfortunately that it's not easy to
get a job in that area you know. So when he started helping out at the franchise
location we were just in training. Yes. And basically he came home one day and
he says dad I'm I'm not gonna manage the store. I'm gonna run the business. Because our
intention was to open two or three. Right. And then take a look and see what we
were gonna do. So he basically runs that. So I've that that experience of having
my son join me was very humbling. Mm-hmm. And we have a wonderful relationship and
I will never you know to me my relationship with my son is more
important money than anything else. Right. You know and then when actually when I
started to get involved in the real estate I did not ask him to come along.
Okay. Because I wanted it to be his decision completely. Okay. And. Did you have in
your mind like you would want him to? Oh yes I did. Okay. Oh yes I did. It wasn't
like you were trying to hoard it. Like I'm gonna be a real estate investor and
Gabby you can't come. No. You just wanted him to get there on his own. Yes. Yeah.
Absolutely. Absolutely. So and it was interesting because he started he talked
to my wife about it first. You know asking questions and stuff like that. And
then he and then he told me dad I want to get involved with you. And again that
was humbling. Yeah. You know. So he's he's he hasn't been able because of the store
he hasn't been able to put himself in the fourth gear. Right. Okay. But he's
concentrating on looking for wholesaling deals. Okay. Right now. And he's making
offers. And what I see what he's what I see for him and you know obviously always
want to take care of your children. Yeah. Sure. I see an opportunity for him to
create a lifestyle that he's looking for. And it's really not centered around
money. You know Gabby's centered around being able to manage his own time and do
what he wants to do and make money doing it. Yeah. So he is like you know he's
really excited about that. Yeah. That is awesome. That's what it's all about for
us. I have the pleasure of working with Don who is not my son but he's as close
as I got on the island of Puerto Rico. And now my son McKenna who's in Florida
we're partnered on several real estate deals. And there was a while there where
he was always invited to come and be a part of my business. And he wanted to go
do it on his own. So he wanted to to have some success. So he went off and did 100
deals on his own. And then he came back and he's like his own man. And he's he's
very good at what he does. And if you watch this channel you see him. I mean
he's he's a he's a really good kid. And now we're doing bigger deals and he
thinks bigger than I do. So he pulls me up. It's just so much fun when you get to
do it with family. The support that you described that you have from your wife
that day to me that that's everything. That's awesome. I also get to work with
my wife. So this this idea behind family you guys I don't know of a better
business to be able to do it with because you can you can go so many
different ways with the real estate. You can start to have those franchises and
own the real estate too. It's just for me it's it's a it's a special part of
what we do is that we get to do it with family and we have to build something
together. So I love that for you. Now I gotta be smarter than I am. Oh yeah both
of my kids are smarter than me. Way smarter than me. I mean yeah. My daughter is not
really involved in the business. She's she's clearly the smartest one. She she's
broke. And that's fun for me to be able to say oh yeah hey my son is very
likely gonna way surpass me. My daughter is is a brilliant and she's an artist
but she's you know she's doing things that I could never do. That for me as a
father it's just like that's great. I I've done I've done some of what I did
so that they can go and take it to the next level. That's nice. That's nice. Yeah
I wish the same for for my son Gabi. That you know he surpasses what I do you
know. And success in life is measured you know by numerous factors. How much
money one has I don't think is a measure necessarily of success. It's a money's a
tool for you to be able to do lots of other things. Right. I mean that's a
wonderful mindset too. Like you can make a lot of money and if you're not treating
it as a tool it can become a burden. Like even having a lot of money if you're if
you have the wrong relationship with it it can be a something that's not any fun
it can it can cause you problems in life. So thinking of it this way as money as a
tool that that's a different perspective than many people would have. Yeah
unfortunately a lot of people use how much money you know it's kind of like
they measure the person by their wallet size. Sure. And you know that is not the
measure of an individual. No not at all. You know but having money makes it a lot easier. I'd rather have money and do all of the
other fun and good stuff than not have money and and try to do the fun and good
stuff. It does make it a little easier and making money is really not that
difficult. Like once you figure out a way to make money just do that again. Yeah.
And that's what we've done with real estate. We did it one time and then it
works. We did a few thousand times more and it's provided a good life. And then
we've had other businesses that have spinoffs from it. And yeah. And now and
now you're an entrepreneur successful your your life gets paid by a couple of
businesses you have and you're able to jump into something brand new and do it
with your son. Yeah. So one thing that we talk about in every community that we
have whether it's on this YouTube channel or our free community or Apex or
even in the mastermind is this finder funder operator and people can have
different roles. But for instance you're in a deal with me where you were part of
the funding side of it. You're now buying flips. So you're gonna be the operator
side of it. And I think you're funding them too. So you you're kind of living
into these two roles and Gabby may be looking to be a finder. What do you what
do you see yourself as primarily or are you just thinking that you want to learn
to do all three. To be honest operator fund operator fund operator fund. Yeah.
And operating larger project. Absolutely. Because those are going to be difficult
for me to fund. I don't have that kind of capital. Yeah. We talked about that. I
mean if we're going to buy something for eight million dollars and then put
another eight million dollars in it you and I can't write a check. Oh I
definitely can't. I can't write a check either. That's not. But I know we could
go get the money for it as long as that's why I'm sitting here with you
Robert. No I mean that's and this is stretching me right. Like if we if and
when we do something like that we're gonna we're gonna learn together. But I
have I have a track record of success that's worked on some smaller deals and
we've gradually gotten bigger. And there's not that big a difference in
renovating one house or renovating eighty nine two bedroom one bath
condominiums that we're gonna sell one of them. There's not that big a
difference. And you've actually done the renovation part on bigger projects where
you you weren't the guy who was in ownership of it. You weren't the guy who
had to fund it but you were the guy who made everything happen. That's a skill
that's that operator skill set that you bring to the table. So guys if you're
watching this and you're thinking about your story and where do you fit try and
try and put it in bite-sized chunks. Are you really good at finding great deals?
Do you do you have some success in life somewhere else so that you could fund
other great real estate investors? Or are you an operator? Or obviously maybe
you could be a combination of the three. Yeah. Hopefully. Hopefully. Hopefully I'll
be an investor. That's right. We we talked about that earlier as we were
having some coffee you you asked me like how important is it to me to put my
money to work? And my answer is very simple. I have been since 2009 an
absolute fanatic about when I make money it has to go back in the market. I
need my money to go and make money for me and that has enabled me to make a
terrific comeback. We had we had a lot of success. The market crashed. It was tough
and then we've made a magnificent comeback because I just don't let I
don't let my money sit idle. For me it's a tool and that I don't worship money. I
know that my money is better off going out and recruiting more money. Yes. To
come back right? Yeah. So and I'm an operator and now a funder you know that
at this point that's I guess I'm a deal funder too but yeah the stuff I really
like doing I like partnering with people who've got big ideas and giving them the
reins because I can't do it all myself and that's why building the right team
is so important. And this you know this opportunity that I have by the way the
investment of Rainmaker that's I've already paid for itself. That's amazing.
Okay. Yeah. You know and because that's when I paid for it. Yeah. I said okay I
just have to make that money back and how fast do I make it back? And we're two
months in. I've already made it back and then some. Wow. You know obviously when
we execute everything. For sure. Well when it when it comes to Rainmaker and we
were talking to anyone who was gonna maybe join us I wanted them to treat it
as an investment not as an expense. It's a it's a big investment but it's one
that I fully expect that everybody gets a good return on. So that is very
pleasing to hear. What you just said. That's super exciting for me. Yeah.
Something exciting for me and I've thought about this because you know when
I when you said that I was the first Rainmaker. Yeah. A little funny story.
When I went to pay the internet went out at home. Uh-huh. And I I got frustrated
because I said what if I lose my seat? You know and I was still able to make it
first. Uh-huh. But you did it quick too. You know one of the one of the goals I
set for myself was I wanted I wanted to be really good. In other words if I could
be the number one guy I wanted to be. I love that. You know and and also us as
Rainmakers you know how can we help each other? Yeah. You know and the other
Rainmakers I I still need to reach out to some but uh the synergy that we can
create is important. Right. And help me I help them. Yeah. Well and you're doing
that and living it too. I mean so we have Emmanuel who's a great finder and you're
already bought something with him that you're gonna sell pretty quickly. Yeah.
You guys will both make some pretty good money and really fast. Right. Yeah.
It's a really really good return. Wanna talk about that? I mean so you've you
bought something for fifty ish thousand dollars and you have it sold for how
much? Right. And you did what to it? Nothing. Did nothing to it? Zero. And the person who's buying it from you they're
gonna fix it up. And sell it. And then they'll sell it. And they'll make money. And they'll
probably make more money than you even. So it's it's that good of a deal and when
you have those great deals that that's how this business works. Yeah. What's something
that you would say to someone who's maybe watching this and hearing your
story and and thinking about becoming a real estate investor? What advice would
you have to anybody who's out there that's maybe thinking about going into
real estate or not but obviously I think and this is something that I've heard
over and over so I don't think this is anything new. But I think the biggest
struggle is that we have impostor syndrome. And we doubt ourselves. I really like Anthony, Tony Robbins. Yeah. Years ago when I was going through some personal stuff Awake and the Giant with him. One of the things he talked about was
And if you want to get on your own in a business, if you want to get into real estate, you know, you set a goal.
I've always had five, ten year plan goals.
Right.
Okay.
And, but we have a tendency to think, okay, I'm going to become a real estate investor and I got to sign my first deal.
Or I have to have, you know, at the end of the year, 10 houses and stuff like that.
You can set those goals, but then break it up into baby steps.
I did this when I was studying architecture because I made my way through college.
Sure.
It took me eight years for a five year degree.
So I couldn't think about how long it was going to take me.
I had to think about, okay, I want to get through this semester.
Yeah.
Okay.
So break it down into small goals.
And all of a sudden, it's like taking that first step and that second step.
And all of a sudden, you'll realize, I've done one step.
I'm already, I'm already moving in that direction.
And the fear, you know, everybody has fear.
And one of my favorite quotes, the first time I ever paid attention to a quote.
And unfortunately, I was never able to find out who it was from.
But it's the fear of failure that limits your activity.
However, the act of failing allows you to begin again more wisely.
Okay.
So you learn from your mistakes.
Right.
You know.
So, and a lot of us are afraid to make mistakes.
Yeah.
Especially when it comes to money.
Yeah.
But, you know, when I was younger, I'm not risk adverse.
You know, now that I'm older and, you know, I have a family and children.
Well, you know, I'm less risky than when I was young.
But I went all out when I was young.
Yeah.
You know, I tried it.
But at that point, I didn't have any fear.
Yeah.
You know, I think that's the biggest hang up is the fear or the imposter syndrome.
And then just kind of, I guess at the end of the day is you just have to start moving in the direction you want.
That's, I mean, this idea of taking action is something that's kind of core to what we talk about all the time.
There's another quote I like that's similar to yours.
It says, the cost of failure is something like is nothing compared to the price of regret.
And so that, to me, that I heard years and years ago.
And it was something, maybe it was Anthony Robbins who said it.
I'm not sure.
But it was something that I heard somewhere.
And it's just like the cost of failure is nothing compared to the price of regret.
It's true.
And I was like, damn.
That's pretty amazing.
I definitely don't want to sit in a chair at some point in my life and say, wish I did.
Yeah.
You know, wish I did this, wish I did that.
No.
Yeah.
And wishing to get into real estate stopped when I drank that day.
Yeah.
And then the next step was Rainmakers.
Well, we're really glad that you are a part of our Rainmakers group.
And maybe we can close with this.
What is it like to be around that group or just any group in general?
How has that benefited you so far?
Well, you can think about it any sort of community.
You feel support.
Yeah.
You know that you're not by yourself.
I have a question I've got somebody I can ask.
Right.
They might not have the answer, but they can direct me in that, you know, who has the answer.
And I think all of us in this group have gone through some sort of imposter syndrome.
So we can help each other out with that.
And, you know, there's one person in the group that I have to call now.
He wants to learn basically how to get a construction quote the way we should get a construction quote.
Yeah.
So I said, look, I'm going to walk you through the first one that got so you can see it.
And I asked them for a complete breakdown.
So it's a sense of community.
It's a sense of community.
You feel support.
You're not alone.
You get up in the morning and you know that those people are a phone call away.
Yeah.
Or a WhatsApp message away.
And, you know, that's something that you have answered quickly.
McKenna answers quickly.
Don immediately answers.
It's a sense of community.
Well, I'm glad you're in our community, brother.
I'm glad.
I appreciate it.
I'm glad to be here.
Thank you.
Thank you for spending time.
I know you're not exactly thrilled about being in front of the camera.
Actually, they go so bad, but I hate it.
Oh, you did a great job, though.
And I want to have you back.
Maybe we can have Gabby come next time.
Once we get the renovation done or something.
I think it would be pretty cool if you're up for it.
We'll go shoot a video at the as you're doing it.
Absolutely.
And then we can do this again.
But this was awesome.
Thank you very much, my friend.
Thank you for having me.
Guys, thanks for watching.
Watch this next.
I love stories like this.
But we just talked about with Ed because real estate is not a solo game.
It's a team sport.
We talk about it all the time.
Finders find deals.
Funders bring the capital.
And operators like Ed, they take care of all of the rest and make everybody a pile of cash.
It's exciting to me to have you see the story from one of our rainmakers and get to hear what Ed and Gabby are building together.
This is where our heart's at, guys.
We want to invite more partnerships.
That's how we've expanded our business for years and years.
And right now it's our passion to help thousands of people become real estate investors and entrepreneurs.
