Coach Neuheisel Talks Game 1 Dominance & Toyota Stadium Venue. AlanAlfordSportsTalkShow.com

I'll start with that and, you know, the team dominated on both sides of the ball, and I know that you prepared them well, but did you expect some type of performance like that? You know, to be honest, I don't think any of us could tell you what we expected. I think we all think we have a good team and we're capable of being a really good team, but you have no idea what everybody else looks like, right? They can all be saying the same things to themselves. We're going to be really good. Now that we're getting some game action and we've got some film to watch, maybe we can have a little bit more perspective, but in that opener, I was prepared for any eventuality. So what did you think about the stadium, you know, playing in Toyota Stadium from the TV? It looked really, really nice. What were your thoughts about it? Fabulous. I mean, it's a perfect venue, perfect venue. Now we need more Renegade fans. There's room for more. The ones that were there were fantastic, and I think they had a good time, and I know we've got some, you know, big plans for future events there, but if the folks in Frisco want to have some fun, it's three hours of quality football, and I hope that they'll come out and support what I think is a really fun and entertaining team. Appreciate it, Coach. In fact, Coach, on the defensive end, talk a little bit about your defensive backs, and it seemed like every time the ball went up, they were right there, almost going to either pick it or pass break up. Talk about the guys back there, the DBs, and how efficient they were during game one. They were outstanding, and I give a lot of credit to our coaching staff on that side of the ball. Mike Gilhammer coaches that secondary. There's a lot of communication on that side, and when you know where your help is and you're athletic, as those kids have all been, and you got the right attitude and you're studious and all that thing, it shows up, and they were very, very good in the opening weekend. They're going to need to be good again. This St. Louis Battlehawk offense throws it almost every down, so you better be ready to go. Best wishes to you. All right. Thank you.
