How's everyone doing out there? I've been shopping. I've been to Iceland. Come and
have a look what I got. I was in Iceland having a little walk around and I seen these were new
two beef bacon triple cheeseburgers with a melting cheese centre. Two days fridge life,
they're frozen, 354 grams and there's the serving suggestion. Oh I do like a beef burger,
I do like a cheeseburger, I like a bacon burger, in fact I like all burgers. So the price,
two of them £4.50. Yeah, certainly yeah, well I'll leave that with you. Anyway let's have a look
at the packaging. I hope you're all absolutely spot on as well by the way, I missed that didn't
I? They're only human. So let's go around the back. So we've got some spiel there, two beef
bacon triple cheeseburgers, two seasoned triple beef burgers with a dry cured smoked bacon and
two processed cheese slices. 354 grams like I said, we've got a GB sticker. Some nutritional
information there, if you want to pause that and have a look at it in more detail, go ahead,
contains two servings and there's the ingredients. Allergens are milk and metabisulfite in there and
barley. We've got beef 62%, processed cheese 15% and we've also got dry cured smoked bacon 10%.
I would like it with more beef, I would, I would, I would like it in the 80s if anything but yeah,
for the price, where's to cook? Do it in the oven from frozen, defrost in a refrigerator,
oven from defrost, it's up to you, it is up to you. Right I might have covered everything,
anything on the sides, anything not on the sides? No, best before 27th of May, 27.
Frozen on 27th of February, 26. Yeah we're in April now aren't we? Right I might have covered
everything, if I do miss anything out, it'll be all in the description of the video with
links to other videos, so let's get them open, see what we've got. Yeah let's get these open,
the old one finger technique works, see what we're getting. Do we need, do we really need them? I
mean yeah it's just, I know it's a gimmick isn't it? It's a massive gimmick, I mean they're just
very thin frozen burgers aren't they? With cheese in the middle, yeah and sort of beef,
bacon sort of minced up and put in between them. Yeah that's what you get, look you can see your
cheese in the middle there, I'm gonna, I would say that's gonna ooze out everywhere and I dare
say you could do them in the air fryer, you know if you want, just sort of reduce your times and
reduce your temperature, obviously make sure that you know they're cooked. You don't want no dicky
belly. Had a little wander over at Tesco and picked these up, Tesco four large seeded burger
buns, they were 95 pence, these are, they're not new, they've been out forever but I just thought
I'd have these with my burgers, the old sesame, sesame seeds on the top. With my bun I'm just
cut it in half and I'm gonna have some mustard and some red sauce. It's done, I'll bring you down,
we'll have a look. So that's it there, let's see if I can get a bit of better light for you,
some natural light coming in. Yeah that's a bit better isn't it,
cheese is starting to ooze out now look. Yeah I did it in the uh, in the oven on the bake setting.
Well I did it in my air fryer on the bake setting, let's just clear that up. So that's the size of it
and that's, that's well, that's uh, that's it frozen and that's it when it's cooked.
Yeah we've got a bit of shrinkage, right I'll cut a bit off and I'll try it before I put it
in the bun. So I'm going to cut, I'm just going to cut this end off, I'm not going to cut too
much off because I'm going to be sort of, I'm not going to have anything left to put in me,
in my burger. So I've done that and then I'll put that in there like that, I'll put its lid on,
keep it warm and I'll try this bit here, yeah. So I'll try that bit, what I did, I've just,
just done it now and when I was doing it I thought I should have had the camera going,
I've just cut it in half and I'll show you inside, look that's before I eat it,
it gives it a chance to cool down as well. Yeah you're getting two, two processed cheeses,
the minced up cured bacon in there. So there's the actual um, burger and cheese itself, let's try
this and you can toast the bun if you like, toast it, give it a bit of crunch, bit of texture.
Cheesy, oh it's very cheesy, wow, that cheese is very, very strong. I am detecting a smoky flavour
as well from the bacon, it is quite crisp, the top, top of the, the end of that um, burger was,
it was done. I mean you don't, you do eat burgers like that on their own, you might do if you're on
one of them high protein diets, I'm cutting out kind of carbs and everything else but um,
and a triple cheeseburger, would you want three slices of processed cheese
or two? There's a question for you, and would you like rations, rashes of bacon
or streaky bacon? I know what I'd like, so let's try this. I can taste more of the smokiness of
the bacon rather than the beef itself, I mean it's, it's shrunk to nothing hasn't it as well,
it's absolutely shrunk to nothing, it reminds me of them burgers, I've said this many times,
I used to get when I was a nipper growing up, the burgers, the ones with onion in,
used to put them in and when you brought them out they were like, they'd go in about that big
and they'd come out about that big, well maybe a little bit bigger but you know what I mean.
Yeah £4.50, I know I go on about the price, things are expensive, we got some um, I think it
was in Aldi, we got some, a pack of minced beef to make some burgers, I made some homemade burgers
of the week, seven, over seven quid, we made six burgers, it just shows you doesn't it, yeah,
bit of salt, bit of pepper, kept it simple, kids loved them, kids loved them, I'm just showing you
the food, I'm not telling you to go and buy it, it's just my opinion, I do quite like the taste
of that but maybe it's because I've put it in a nice bun with you know, plenty of mustard and
plenty of ketchup, it's very overpowering with cheese and I can taste the smokiness in there,
the bacon, I'm going in again but it does shrink to nothing doesn't it, it's processed food for you,
things like this I always think, did he put loads and loads of cheese in to mask the flavour of the
burger itself, it gets you thinking doesn't it, it's just food for thought, please let me know
what you think in the comments, they're quite tasty but I wouldn't buy them again, I wouldn't
buy them again, you know, make your own, you can make your own, it's up to you but the supermarkets
make this food and as long as they're making it, I'm going to review it and this is what this
channel is all about, it's not a make your own, you know, make your own channel, you know,
make your own channel, it's not a food channel where you cook your own stuff, it's not that,
if you want that then there's other channels to go and watch, I say what I like, I've got that
advantage, no supermarkets are paying me to say that's good or that's bad, I'm a loose cannon as
far as they're concerned and I bet they all hate me because I say what I like and that's what I
enjoy doing, that's why I enjoy doing the channel and I've started the channel from the beginning
saying that and doing that, I'm not one of them influencers who love everything, who are paid by
the supermarkets to go and purchase the food or get it for free and say that it's good, I'm not
one of them, I just thought I'd clear that up and get it out because I've had loads of comments
about it, I say and do what I want and I'm honest and that's exactly how it is,
I'm just showing you the food, I'm not asking you to buy it, right I'll get off my soapbox,
there we go, I'm off my soapbox, let us know what you think in the comments and be nice,
don't troll me, just be nice, it's just my subjective, it's my opinion, not yours,
so take care, all the best and now I've got off my soapbox and calmed down,
I'll have another cup of coffee, I'll catch on the next one.
