Hello guys, how are we all doing? Welcome back to a new video. Welcome back to my channel. I'm
just getting ready this morning. Well, I say this morning, it's actually this afternoon.
I rarely start a new vlog in an afternoon, so I want to be like, good morning guys,
but it's not morning for me. It is currently nearly 2 PM. We're going to head over to the
Trafford Centre this afternoon and have a fun girly day together, girly afternoon together,
I should say. I haven't had lunch yet, so I'm thinking first pit stop is somewhere for lunch.
Maybe, I've not been to Joe and the Juice and that's been opened. Shake Shack is opening. I
don't know if that's already open or not. That could be a shout. Where else? We've got like
Bank Street we could go to. I'm just out to get to the Trafford Centre at this point.
Then in a couple of hours, we'll have some shopping together. We'll go to maybe Zara
is definitely one place I want to go. H&M Home, Abercrombie, Selfridges.
Just have a bit of a mooch around the shops, but I'm actually the main purpose for going in is
I've been invited this evening to an event at The White Company. They've got a brand new store
opening. It's actually opening tomorrow to the public. This evening is a pre-opening party where
I think it's just going to be very casual fizz and canapes. I don't even think it's an influencer
event necessarily. I don't think. None of my girlfriends that are also content creators that I
know of are going. I don't know if it's ... You could bring plus ones as well. My mom, I did
mention it to her, but she has come down with a chest infection. I thought, you know what,
let's not bother her. She's fine just healing. I thought I'll just brave it solo. We'll pop in.
Hopefully because of that, it's going to be more of like a pop in, pop out type event
just to see the new space. We'll see. Anyway, fragrance of the day. I have already put this
on, but I thought I would show you anyway. Where is it? I've gone with Jo Malone Grapefruit today.
We'll just add a little extra spritz for luck. Then also to layer that, to layer with it,
because you know how Jo Malone are kind of like their principle is you can layer their scents and
their fragrances. I also have this hair mist in English paraphrasia. I've just kind of spritzed
a bit of this throughout the ends of my hair. That is me good to go. That is a lovely scent
for this time of the year. I really like Basil and Neroli, but that one probably is a close second.
But anyway, yes, my outfit for today is quite simply basic white tee. This one's from Primark
jeans. These ones are from Everlane and a blazer. This one is from Zara. I really like the kind of
green given that it is spring and I've just tied it with my All Saints green crossbody suede bag.
Shoes, I think I will just wear. They're through here. I will wear my Veja trainers. Nice and
comfy for an afternoon of walking around the shops. So let's go. We're here. It's another
warm one today. It's saying 19 degrees, but honestly it feels warmer. I'm here. I've parked
somewhere different to where I usually park, so we're going to see how we go today. But given the
event, the white company store thing, opening thing, I think the white company is near Zara,
which is outside of John Lewis basically. So I'm here. As you can tell, there's John Lewis. We're
going to head through. And I think given that that will be on our way back, we might just
stick to one sidewalk all the way down and all the way back. I might even, if I buy anything,
dump the bags in the car before going back into the event. I need to remember where I've come in
here getting shoes so that I remember where I'm going out or else I'll be wandering around for
far too long just trying to figure that out. Also by the Style Studio. I remember having an event
hosted by the Style Studio and John Lewis. And it was a smart works, like that charity that I've
spoken to you about before. I don't think we're looking in John Lewis today, though.
We shall keep going. We might go all the way to the other end and see if M&S have got any
speckled egg chocolate bars. They've been out, haven't they, obviously with Easter
here slash over. I don't think they're getting any back in.
Yes, you come outside of John Lewis and literally straight here, you've got the Zara, I think that's
like the men's and then Zara women's is right next to it. They just need a home. I found it.
It's next to the old Stradivarius because I know that's moving as well. We've got a few hours
anyway because it's not quite as close to like the Zara and the John Lewis than I thought it was.
So anyway, I might actually head back to the food court. Where's Joe and the Jews? Are we
going to get lucky? I'm not sure, but I have just spotted this dress. That's gorgeous. I love the
shaping to it at the top. Oh, it's over there. Let's have a look. These are really pretty.
Lots of blues for spring, obviously. Some wide chinos. They're really nice as well. But yeah,
this dress looks gorgeous. Let's have a look. It is £42. It's hard to tell on the hanger
how it fits like that, but obviously on the mannequin, it was more obvious.
Oh, I really like that. Oh, I just feel like it's just not quite warm enough yet. We have
like a couple of days of nice weather and then it goes miserable again. I do feel like it would
definitely be here if it's going to be here. Maybe I should just be grateful for the fact
that this year I managed to get a couple of bars when they first came out. But yeah,
wishing I'd saved them a little bit longer. I'm also loving the little pop of lemon that
they've got with this shirt. Oh, some kind of alarm gone off, but that is £36 for that blouse.
Really, really pretty. And there's even a little lemon bag. £20. Very cute. I like this jacket
as well. I like the structure around the neckline. That's £55. It's kind of like a trench fabric.
It's actually really thick. And they've also got a short and shirt combo, which is gorgeous. Kind
of a bit Western actually with that. And then they have again, like kind of Western, I feel
like with their styling with the denim and this skirt paired together. So £40 for this skirt.
The denim jacket is, it's like a collarless, £50 that one. They've styled it with the little
lemon bag and also some ballet flats. I really like those knitted ballet flats. They've got them
in pink over there as well, but I quite like the lemon. Gorgeous suit set here as well. Again,
in that same neutral kind of camel colour that you would find in trenches. This is like a cotton
though. And it comes as a three piece with the matching vest as well. This one is £46. I'll
just get one out to show you. If you just liked that on its own with like some denim, again,
how they've styled it together. If they had these trousers in my size, I would definitely try them
on, but they've only got 18s and 20s. But they're like a wide legged pants with a really nice
fabric, like a kind of soft cotton fabric. Really, really nice. That's all of the new and things that
I'm loving the look of so far. I need to find a change of rooms because I want to try this dress
on. I quite like how they've styled this actually. This mannequin here with the wax collared jacket
and the shorts and t-shirt. They've also got these like kind of gladiator style sandals, which
I think I know as well. I don't recognise them. That's the t-shirt they've paired with it.
Obviously any basic tee. The shorts are £20, like a really nice skiing and they kind of look
like a men's boy boxer. And then the jacket they've paired with it is £65. Not too bad for
M&S. I feel like this might have been just placed there, but these boxy tees that they've got,
they've got shoulder pads in. So I think they add a really nice structure to them. They're
£23, really thick as well. And they've also got this, which I've just seen next to it,
this like denim utility. It is a mini dress, so I don't know if I'd, I don't know if it'd suit me,
but I do really like it. I also love this, but this is from Nobody's Child. I just noticed.
So how much is it? Yeah, £120. So the price is always a bit more, but again, that kind of
shaping along the bottom and the structure to it, I really like. They've also got this top,
which again is really pretty. They have put it with this skirt, although the fabric is the same.
That one looks slightly creamier than this. And I love the top just on its own, to be honest with
you, without the skirt. It is, how much is this? £65 for that, but it is gorgeous. So, so pretty.
It reminds me of Free People, this brand. These changing rooms are nicer than our
reminisce changing room. I've just gotten the dress to try on. I was just going to take it and
then return it immediately, but I thought, no, whilst I'm here, whilst we've got time,
just try it on and see how it fits. However, just to give you guys a visual, I love it.
This is such a funny try on because I'm literally still wearing my jeans under this dress. It's
just too see-through. The bottom half, because this bit is a different material, that's fine.
I also, they didn't have a 10 and a 12, I just think is slightly too big. I think I would need
a 10. But yeah, I love the little shaping there, but I just, that bottom half, I mean, I have got
black underwear on, so that probably doesn't help, but they're just too sheer. I think it's too sheer,
this fabric. I was unsuccessful with the dress. I was unsuccessful with the speckled egg
chocolate bar. So now I definitely need to head back and fuel up. I feel like I need some lunch.
So we'll try and find a bite to eat. I did think about maybe popping into the cafe here, actually.
We'll see. I'm just walking through. Whenever I walk past this area here, I always remember,
I never forget panic attacks. And I always remember I had a really big panic attack here
once. One of my biggest, in fact, it was the one that made me take the plunge to have therapy
and speak to a therapist about it because I was like, this is not normal and I can't be living
like this. But yeah, every time I walk past, I'm like, ugh, I feel like I've come a long way since
then. Right. Okay. I'm trying to find, I'm in the food hall bit, but I'm going to go downstairs,
because the foods up here are more restaurants. Although there is a lunch flower through here,
which is really nice. They do one in Altrium and they've got one here too. So maybe we could go
there instead of Joe and the Juice. I don't even know where Joe and the Juice is. It's down there.
Shake Shack is not open yet. Yet. I think by the time you're watching this video,
it probably will be though. Okay. Yeah. I've chosen a little pit stop at the lunch flower
and I've gone for a pastrami. Oh, thank you so much.
Here you go.
Thank you. I've gone for a little cortado, a banana bread to go. I'll have that maybe snack
on that later. I'm not sure what food there is at the event. I think it's just canapes. I'm not
sure. So I thought I'd just grab a little snack or something extra later if I need it. And then
I've gone for a pastrami and Swiss cheese toasting or panini. Can't remember. So yeah,
a little pit stop. I'm going to do some emails on my phone. And so far we've got some bits from
Nespresso and Hotel Chocolat. And that's it for now. I've just seen someone sat with a brand new
iPhone box and it's just reminded me that I was going to pop into Apple and ask them about my
phone because basically I've got the latest phone. And for some reason, well, I've never had an issue
with storage before, but for some reason this one has filled up. So I just went for the smallest
size in terms of the storage. And I think it's because I've got so many vlog clips and videos.
And then also when we went skiing and I downloaded the Insta360 app to do all that,
the camera footage that I had for when we were skiing, it just took up so much space.
And also apparently WhatsApp is another one that takes up a lot of space on my phone. So
I'm going to ask them what the cost and everything is, if I can somehow switch the phones.
I don't know if they do that with the latest ones. They usually take older models
and then you get some money off a newer one. Because otherwise I'm going to be out of pocket.
I don't want to be too out of pocket. Do you know what I mean? But I need storage and I've
got loads of cloud storage. So it's not that it's my phone storage that I need more of.
So note to self for future phone, get the bigger storage. Sorry, this is boring for you.
Apple's not even like a fun, well, it's fun to Tom. Tom's like in his element in a tech store.
But for me, that's like, it's not a fun shop. I'm just in Kiko and some of my favourite lip
glosses. I can't find it though. I need to like look in all my handbags,
but this one is gorgeous. It's in shade 5, the 3D Hydra Gloss.
I'm just in Abercrombie. I'm just having a quick look. And I've just spotted this top again,
another good little basic top, but really pretty back detailing with the tie up bows.
That was really nice. They've also got it in a blue stripe as well. Oh, and also black. I also
love the look of this one. This is Delicate Fabric 60. That is really pretty. It's nice
and soft as well. They've also got it in red and black as well. Nice summer dresses. I always
remember when I worked for Hollister and Abercrombie were the same company. We didn't
sell black at the time. The darkest colour we had was navy. They never had black and now they do.
I am talking a long time ago though, obviously. Again, another really pretty top. This is what
I feel like they do best. These kind of tops, pretty girly tops and dresses as well
at this time of the year, or even obviously like in summer as well. That one is 60 as well.
Not the cheapest, but anything Abercrombie that I've had has always stood the test of time.
Been one of my favourites. All their t-shirts, their basic tees are really nice. I like this
jacket that they've got as well. It's a nice oversized leather jacket, which I always think
these kind of leather jackets, again at this time of the year, are really nice, even with little
white dresses. Let's have a quick look in H&M home. It's been a while since I've been in this
store. I shall have a look. Mugs for spring. I actually really like the look of this pot.
That's a good size for like a bowl banter. 24.99, not bad, but I do feel like you could probably
find them cheaper or like slightly more rustic from places like HomeSense. That's an ideal size
really. What else have they got? These little candle holders are a bit unique, a bit different.
They're solid marble. Obviously you can put tea lights in there, but you could also put
like tall candles in. We've also got some like lemon bits for like Easter, little bunnies.
Wow, 12.99 is kind of pricey for that. Little mini, tiny, tiny paper hanging decorations in
the neutral. They are 9.99 for those. And then for the larger ones, they are also 9.99.
Oh, I love all of this section here. They've got loads of like dark woods, very earthy tones,
and some little linen, oops, linen aprons as well. Oh gosh, I'm a little bit, I dropped it.
Oh, where were we? Okay, these boards, nice, but that's not really what I'm looking at. I'm just
looking at what's below it in this dark walnut wood. It's coming out quite bright on camera.
Let me just darken you up a bit. Yeah, that wooden tray is lovely. So practical and useful as well.
And look at that marble roller. Wow, that's huge. Oh my gosh, it's so heavy. This footer bowl is
gorgeous. That'd be a lovely fruit bowl at 24.99. But it's like on a little pedestal like that.
Silver is definitely making the comeback. There's lots of silver bits as well with these
home deco pieces. If I find one, I feel like I'm after a more vintage one, I think.
Maybe even like a solid silver that you could polish up. I also love this new branding that
they've got with their room scents, room fragrances. Crisp cotton. This one comes in, obviously, the
room spray as well as the reed diffuser. But how nice does that look?
Look at the Zara now and upstairs is Pull & Bear, downstairs is Zara. But I thought we'd just nip
into Flying Tiger. Again, it's been a while since I've been in here, but obviously they've got lots
of spring bits out. And I thought we could have a quick always round. I mean, the aesthetics isn't
quite there for me, but the idea of this I like. TV show journal, 100 series, you can actually rate
them. And they've also got a recipe version as well. I can't tell you the amount of people that
have sent me this in my DMs on Instagram. I mean, it is built for me. It's a golden retriever puppy
It's £130. It's a lot. And I do love it. Look at him. Does that look like Barney?
What do you think? You have to let me know. I also really wanted this Creel house when it
first came out. And I know it was sold out everywhere, but now that it's not autumn or
Halloween, I'm not in the mindset for buying it, but it's literally right there. But again,
it's £250. It's not something that I can just buy. I feel like I need to at least think about
it or get it at least at the right time of the year. But then, yeah, I feel like Halloween might
come around and it might not be in stock anymore. I do feel like Pull & Bear is a bit like a
kid's version of Zara or Zara's an adult version of Pull & Bear. But I just saw this as I was coming
in. It's from the men's section. I love the colours of it. It's like a baby blue polo, £29.99. I love
this hat. I thought I'd just show you. £15.99. It's like a grey. I mean, it's on a wall of them,
but yeah, really nice. I hope Zara's like this as well. I've just come into the changing room
and it's like, it's soundproofed. I mean, you can kind of hear the music very slightly outside,
but it just makes it a lot easier for me to talk and try on. I feel like I'm in like a private
room or something. But anyway, yeah, Pull & Bear. I decided to pick up a small and a medium because
obviously they are men's to try on. But how nice is that colour? That baby blue, which I love
anyway. But obviously, especially for spring and especially this year, it seems to be huge. So
£29.99 I think is pretty good for a polo. So let me try that one on. I think a small actually
looking at these two is going to be fine. Here we go. What do you think? I do love a polo shirt.
I know it's very like preppy and maybe I'm too old for this, but I've got the one from H&M,
the stripy, it's like a cream and green. And I have worn that a few times and really like it.
So I just think this even more so is more my colour with the blue. So I think I'm going to
love it. And just like how I am today, jeans and trainers, casual, comfy. I would say the sleeves
are a little bit, are they a bit snug? If the medium's the same, then I'll go with the small,
but otherwise, I don't know if that feels a bit tight around my wrist. I prefer it to be just a
little bit baggier. So maybe a medium will be better. That is one benefit to like Stradivarius,
Bershka, Pull&Bear, even though it's like all the same company as Zara, it is cheaper. Yeah,
I think in the body it looks the same. So the fact that the medium's just fit slightly like
more baggy on the arms, I think I'm going to go for the medium. But this is another way to wear
it. Instead of tucking it in, I just tuck it under my bra so that if you don't want like loads of
fabric tucked into trousers, then that's another way to wear it. And yeah, big fan of this. So happy
I found it. There's a couple, I've just popped into, am I in Waterstones? I don't actually know
where I am. I think it's Waterstones anyway. And I've just seen that there's a couple of
Frieda McFadden's that I've not read. So Dear Debbie is one. Let me know if you've read it. Or
this one, is this new? I don't think I've even seen this one. Want to know a secret. I've had
a quick look on the back and it doesn't, you know, it doesn't draw me in. So if you have read it and
it is worth reading, then please let me know. Still love, love, love, love. I've read the
first two books of the ACOTAR series. This is such a cool edition, the all black nightcourt
edition, love that. But look, she's bringing out books six and seven soon, October. Right,
okay, I need to read three, four and five. I'm still on Onyx Storm, the last of the fourth
wing series, which I prefer to this, but it's very, very similar. I'm just running the bags
back to the car, but on route through, I've noticed Topshop now are in John Lewis. They've
not got the biggest selection, but it is quite nice to be able to be back in store shopping
Topshop. Their Joanie jeans were a classic back in the day. Like that, um, dress on the back wall.
I like all of them, but that brown one's really nice. Love that one. Again, I love the detailing
on the side. I feel like they're maybe a bit too low for me, but really pretty. And then seeing
lots of polka dots and spotty prints in all the stores as well. I've just come for a quick fresh
nap pit stop in the car just to dump the bags and then also just check my emails. And I was just,
I just had such a lovely, lovely email basically. Do you remember I went to the Manchester and
Cheshire Dogs home not too long ago and I did, well, I actually did some work with tails.com,
who's an ongoing partner that I work with regularly who provide tailor-made recipe
dog food, um, which Barney has been on for years now. And yeah, they're such a lovely company to
work with. And this just made my day when I found out essentially that of, I think in total,
I featured about 11 dogs across my socials for that visit to the dog's home. And
five of those dogs all got rehomed, which was just so nice. And they might've seen my content,
they might not. It might've just been coincidence at that time, but some of them featured dogs that
had been there, including Bruno, who was the longest resident. Um, and there was Coraline,
um, couple of others. I just, it made my day seeing that. And I told tails cause I just wanted
to feed that back to them. And obviously they're big dog lovers given the nature of the company
and the brand. And again, the team were just so lovely that they said, that's amazing news.
We want to send them all care packages if they're happy to give over their addresses,
like no content required or anything. And I just thought, what a lovely, just such a lovely
company to work with. And honestly, I know a lot of you out there watching are also dog lovers.
I see probably my most regular comment is how you love Barney, my golden retriever,
just as much as I do. And you love seeing him in the vlogs and you tell me all the stories about
your dogs as well. And yeah, I know we're all animal lovers in general, dogs, cats, but dogs,
especially, I love cats as well, but dogs have a place in my heart. Having had Barney that,
um, when I went and paid a visit to that home, it just, it just made my day that five of them
have been rehomed. So I thought I would feed that back to you guys because I'm sure it'd make some
of yours, your days as well. Anyway, I'm going to head back in now. I'm going to go via Zara
to the event. The event's in about, to the new store opening, which I'm so excited to see. That's
in about an hour, so not too long. Um, and we will have a good rummage through Zara. I might even do
a little try on, take you with me to the changing rooms and we can try some bits on. If it's loud
and if there's music pumping, I'm going to have to just either do a voiceover or shout,
but we'll see. We'll see how we go. Let's go have a look in Zara.
I think these jackets are on special offer, special price at £29.99. Normally they're
£49.99, so that's pretty good value. I do love their basics and these vests in particular,
they're like a rustic kind of finish and feel. They've got them in a chocolate brown,
a charcoal, and then also this kind of ecru creamy colour. But yeah, it's like got a real vintage
feel to them. They're only £11.99. As you can tell, lots of blues with, um, the camel kind of
earthy greens and beige and, you know, all the earthy tones. And like I was saying earlier,
loads of polka dots everywhere, like literally everywhere. Again, seeing loads more blues,
but I'm enjoying this combo, this colour combo with the navy and this kind of like cool toned
trench. That trench is £89.99 and I really like that. I like the fact that the buttons are also
light tone. I can't decide if these trousers are like casual or you could dress them up, maybe both,
but they're made from, the label says sculpt, sculpt fabric, £25.99. They're kind of like a
stretchy knit and obviously they've got black khaki and this nice creamy colour. They do come
with a matching top, but I don't know if I love the style of it. It's got, um, a completely open
back and it's thin enough that I feel like you'd need, not thin, but like there's no support obviously
on the inside. So I feel like you would need a bra. Maybe I'll try it anyway, but if you've got a small,
there we go, a small. See, I already have a short trench from M&S that I got maybe a year or two ago
and it was a dupe for the Arcat one, but I much prefer this colour. And also I just think that
style looks so cool. Rather than just like a short trench, it's just got a bit more to it. £79.99. It's
got a hood as well. I feel like I've secured the best changing room that there is. We've got a nice
big space to do some try-ons. I'm going to whiz through these. I'll try everything on
in an Instagram reel, like a try-on, so that you can see what they look like, but I'll just show
you guys anything that I do buy. I'll show you when I get home, um, because I need to whiz through this
before the event, which starts soon. This jacket is in a large, it's £49.99. Got a nice hood as
well and it was just placed, so I don't know if they have any more. I love the structure of this
short trench. It's in a medium and it's £69.99. This top is in a small, £25.99. This top is in a
large at £29.10. It's kind of like a batwing style, completely open. I can't decide what I think of
this shila. It's in a medium, it's £29.99. Love this dress, it's only £35.99, but I do need it in a
medium. This is a small and it's a bit too tight for me. Here it is and it's open, officially!
How exciting. So the store is officially open tomorrow to the public, um, and they're doing
free tote bags, which we've got, and also flower arranging, where you get a free bouquet if you
spend £50. That's how I might get something. Spotting some new finds. I've never seen this
little duo before online or in store, so that's gorgeous. Let's have a look. It's £40 and you
get a set of two. And these are the renowned, beloved little marble dishes that they've got.
They've got a huge bowl as well, very similar. Apparently they've got some new summer bits as
well, summer fashion, which is exclusive to this new store. Well, not exclusive, but as in like,
they've got like a first preview of the summer range. That's really nice, that little knit vest,
um, 85. It's like a really nice dark camel colour. They're also doing embroidery, which is nice. It says
make it personal with monogramming. That little wrap top, I feel like how they've styled it with
trousers and a little top would look cute. Also, even as like a little Pilates wrap. I think that's
really nice. Let me see how much it is. Here we go. Ballerina wrap cardigan with cashmere, 110.
From the more like high-end range that they've got, this is a new scent. Home Rose Hill. It's
got notes of jasmine, neroli, and pink pepper. It's gorgeous, as is all of the scents they do.
I really love this one for summer though. The Amalfi Lemon actually and the Portofino. I love
both of those. This is interesting. I've not seen this, but they've got a waterless rechargeable
electronic diffuser. So the fact that it's rechargeable as well makes it portable. So
that's amazing. I'm guessing it's like spritz every once in a, in a while and you can choose
your diffuser, pair with one of our fragrance oils. They've also got this new scent from the
like more high-end range, the Santa Fe, which is suede, rosewood, and cypress. I really like that
one. I'm just having a little look in the pyjama section. They've got some gorgeous new prints.
This stripy one I love. And then also how pretty is this for spring? It's so like subtle as well.
It's not too in your face. You just like a little subtle bit of floral for spring and summer. It's
bizarre to see like so much colour in the white company. They've obviously got lots of blues,
which again, colour of the season, but they have introduced quite a bit of lemon and yellows as
well. And some pinks that I'm spotting elsewhere in the store as well. It's like their classic
hyped pyjamas. They also do it in now in the lemon colour. Just spotted this cowling? Toweling
fabric that is gorgeous. They do this in like a hooded t-shirt. And then they also have
this pair of shorts. How gorgeous are they for the summer? With a matching top as well.
I think that is so nice. You can tell as well, more of the buttermilk lemony yellow kind of
colour. I said how I've been loving these like rugby tops at the moment. And I quite like the
fact that this one's got like a really nice light chocolate brown. It's 48 pounds. Oh,
it's in the sale. 48 pounds down from 80. I feel like I see this jacket every time I come in. I
just think it's so like classic and timeless in style. I just really like it. I love the colour
as well. It is a linen, but it's quite thick. It's actually lined as well. And they've got some
Easter bits out, which I think by the time you're watching this, Easter will either be over or they
might have a completely different display on here. But just so that you can see what it looks like
for me shopping. And you guys know my everyday mug. This is just my favourite. I've got a couple
of these. I've been in this standstill traffic. I'm literally on the exit to come off to go home.
Been 15-20 minutes. There's a helicopter about to land in front of us. I think that's coming
in to land. But emergency vehicles all go past. So I'm literally so close to being home. But
whatever's happened, I could have been in it. So feeling grateful for that. And annoyingly,
I've just called Tom to ask him if he can give Barney his dinner. And I've just said to Tom,
where are you? And he's like, I'm at the Trafford Centre. I was like, what? I've just come from
there. He's just getting food with a friend. I could have gone and met him. And I've just said,
call me before you go in case this is still here. And I can tell you to divert to go somewhere else
and avoid it. But good job I went for a wee before I left. That's all I'm gonna say. I suppose we
can debrief on the event. I know we're sat in the dark here. Oh, I was going to say I'm covered
in red light from the car in front, but it's just turned its engine off. Lovely event. Oh,
no, we're back on. Lovely event. Lovely new store. So happy to have had the opportunity to see it
before it opened tomorrow. I did get a couple of bits, but obviously it's pitched back right now.
By the time I get home, it's going to be late. I don't actually know what time I'm going to get
home at this rate. So I will pick up the camera again tomorrow just to show you the couple of
bits that I did pick up from the traffic centre today. But met the team at the white company,
met all the new store staff. We got shown around, well, talked through some new bits,
some gorgeous new things, new scents, new clothes, new colours. Really enjoyed it.
It's basically by, and I can't believe this because literally Tom has been in Goldsmith.
I think it's Goldsmith's or some kind of watch repair shop he's been in. I must have passed him.
We must have passed ships. Is that the saying? It was like passing ships in the night. No,
that's the saying if you are constantly coming and going with each other. Well,
I guess it was like that anyway. I'm tired and delirious. I'm ready to get home, ready to get
comfy, take my makeup off, get my PJs on, have my puppy cuddles, have something to eat, all that
banana bread. I could have that banana bread that's put in for tonight at this rate. But yeah,
I'll pick up the camera again and speak to you in the morning. It's now the next day. Don't mind me
still in my pyjamas, but I thought I would show you all of the bits that I picked up yesterday.
We did manage to get home not too long after I spoke to you last. When I got home, I Googled
what it was and it was a dog running in the road. So I'm more than happy to wait hours in traffic if
it means someone's pet gets home safe, which they did thankfully. But I know it caused literally
hours on both sides. So it was a pretty big op for them to try and get this dog back. But yeah,
glad that it got home safe and sound. So yeah, I thought I would sit down and show you the bits
that I've got. I'll start with the White Company, given that the opening was the main reason why I
went. And now that it's open for you guys to shop, we got given these little exclusive tote bags,
which are lovely, perfect little shopper totes that Travis sent to the White Company on. Flowers
I actually have downstairs. I'll pop a little image on screen. I've just popped them in a vase. I
threw them in that last night and I'm going to arrange them today. But in terms of what I
actually bought, I did treat myself to, I had a members 15% off this as well, but it's a diffuser
and it's a portable one. So it's rechargeable, no wires. And it's also waterless. So you don't
have the faff of trying to fill up water. It's one of those diffusers that I just feel like I'm
going to use a lot given the fact that it's so easy to use. And the lady that said, oh,
do you want me to put this behind the tail for you whilst you sharpen it? And I said, yeah,
yeah. She said, I've got one of these. I really like it. She said, she basically gave me a demo
of how you do it. So your oils that you get from the White Company, you kind of like flip off the
cap and pour the oil in. And then it, depending on the setting that you choose, it will just like
poof out the air, however often you want it to. You can just grab it, pop it in the bathroom
whilst you're having a bath. Then you can take it to the bedroom and have it in the bedroom whilst
you're reading your book. Then you can put it in your car. You can have it in whatever room you
want by the front door. It's easy in a guest room. If you've got guests coming over, just pop it in
there for a bit before they arrive. So yeah, I'll leave that link below because I think it is
brilliant. Kiko, I have got two new additions to my lip balm bowl. I showed this in a vlog not too
long ago, a little DIY lip balm bowl. I have all of my fave anesthetic kind of lip balms in and
I bought two more. I should have actually waited to do my makeup. I've already put on a lip balm
today or lip gloss today. I'm wearing the Too Faced Lip Injection, which kind of like plumps
up your lips a little bit, as does this apparently. So we're going to try it alongside that and see
how I get on with it because I do love the Too Faced one. This is their Lip Volume 01. They also
have a clear one in 02, but this is barely pigmented. So that's going to fit in there
perfectly. Then I also stocked up on a new 05 because I really don't know where mine is. I
thought I would pick up the... Annoyingly, the Voluta one, the bigger pods, they always bring
out loads of seasonal flavors, whereas the original, which is the one that I've got,
they only ever usually just give you one. So you haven't really got a choice. But to be fair,
this sounds quite nice. Pistachio vanilla flavor, but they had a decaf one, which had lavender in
it that I thought might have been quite nice. But again, it wasn't in the original pod size.
So anyway, yeah, the pistachio vanilla and the actual pods, if you did a seasonal display
with these in a glass jar, then they're a perfect kind of color for your spring decor.
I also stocked up on three decaf ones, Voluta decaf. This is a new one that I've not seen
before. I think it's got vanilla in it. And then this one as well is slightly stronger
than the gold one. They've brought out another one. So it's like in between the black and the
gold. If you like a decaf coffee and you like it strong, then I thought we'll give that one to try.
They do the recycled bags that you can put all your old pods in and take them in.
And then Abercrombie. Oh, I met somebody that watched my video. So if you're watching,
hello. Thanks for coming over and saying hello. So yeah, from Abercrombie. I just had a quick
look. I was after replacing this jumper, which is quite old now from Abercrombie men's. I really
like the quarter zip style that is not tight on the bottom, but the only quarter zips they had,
they have that like tighter band across the bottom, which I don't like, especially in men's,
it just sits and like hugs me in like my biggest place. Whereas I like the fact that this is just
straight down and it's nice length for leggings as well. I don't know if you can tell, I've
stained it in the wash. So it went in with colours and there was something red, I think that
went in. And there's a couple of things that it's stained. And this, I just look at this now and
it's got like a red hue to it. So I am going to get rid of it. In fact, I'll leave it out.
I was going to try and replace it with a like for like, but yeah, they didn't have any. But anyway,
whilst I was in there, the sales section, which is near the changing rooms, they had this tee,
which just caught my eye, the material and the colour of it. It's like a really nice
vintage ecru kind of colour. And it's in a medium, I think it's a men's tee,
but it was reduced from 30 down to 15. And then what else did we get? Self fridges. Oh,
I got a stock up of our hand wash that we have in our downstairs loo for like when people come over,
it's empty. So I just needed to get a brand new one. Ordinarily with stuff like this, I do just
like fill up with cheaper, but for a downstairs loo where predominantly guests are washing their
hands after the toilet, I think that is the one. If you're going to have a nice soap,
have a nice soap. And then from Zara, I tried on so many things. I ended up being really
restrained and only got two. There were a few things that I liked, but again, if you wanted
to see everything that I tried on, I'll have done a try on reel on Instagram if you want to see that.
But I ended up picking up this short cardigan. Oh, annoyingly, it's got a bit creased in the back.
Never mind. Just hang that out for a bit. I got it in large for like a nice relaxed fit. It's a
really nice knit. And I thought this with some white or like cream jeans that I've got from
Hilara, my like stretchy, comfy, wide leg ones, and my Birkenstock slip on mule things,
which are in a similar color to this, I just thought would be a really nice
spring outfit. And this was 25.99. And then this trench just stole my heart. I absolutely loved it
when I tried it on. I love the shape of it, the fit of it. It's in a medium at 69.99 is a jacket.
Obviously, this is a bit more of an investment, but I just loved the shape of it. And it's got
a big hood and it's water resistant, so pretty good in light rain as well. Tom's downstairs,
so I'll speak quietly. But I got us, us mull, because he probably won't get me an Easter egg,
but I got us an Easter egg to share. And I went for the, I mean, they do some whoppers,
the ostrich eggs, which we've had one in the past. They are huge. But I got this one instead,
the extra thick egg. This is the everything one. They've got loads of different flavors,
different types. But I quite like that essentially, like the old school eggs,
you get the treats inside. And I've noticed they've started doing that again. If you look
in the supermarket, some of the Cadbury's ones or Nessie, I can't remember, but I have seen,
they've started putting the sweets inside the, or the chocolates inside the egg again,
which for me is the nostalgia of that, because that for me was Easter growing up,
was having your sweets and your chocolates inside the egg. So anyway, I love that they do that. And
also what they do with their eggs. For one, they're extremely thick, as they say in the name,
extra thick, but they have two different flavors. So one half in this case is milk and dark. And
the other half is hazelnut, creamy milk with a hint of roasted hazelnut. Delicious. I think
they were £34.95. And if you spent £35 or more, you got £5 off. So I was obviously going to spend
something extra to get that money off. And they had little lollies for like a couple of pounds
that would have brought it cheaper. But I saw these for £7.95, I think they were. And they
look like posh little chocolates. So I'm going to try these. And it essentially made these pretty
much free. And they are speckled eggs, milk chocolate, hazelnut, praline eggs in crispy
shells. They sound delicious. Last but not least, I went into polymer. As you saw, I got that
palette. I absolutely love this. Love, love, love. I love the blue, love the cream. I love the fact
that the color is a stark white, because on me, that's more of my color palette than a cream.
And obviously, so is the baby blue. Nice summer light cool tone palette. I just love it. And the
fact that it's only £29.99. Yes, it was in the men's, but this is what I mean by the bottom
just being straight rather than being gathered. In fact, it would look really nice with my
new Zara trench as well. So that is everything. Everything that I picked up. I'm going to head
downstairs, make breakfast, start the day. I might even start a new vlog today slash tomorrow.
So stay tuned for that. We're going to go to, I think if the weather holds out,
we're going to go to the first Arthur Swallows Antiques Fair of the season, which I'm so excited
for. So we might do a bit of antiquing tomorrow. So we'll start a new vlog for that. So yeah,
I hope you guys have enjoyed coming to the Trafford Centre with me, having a little shopping
afternoon. Thumbs up if you enjoy these kinds of videos. Subscribe if you haven't already.
And I will hope to see you all very, very soon in my next video. Bye guys.
