The creator transitions from autumn to Christmas, sharing a seasonal shopping haul. The video features a variety of festive food and treats from M&S, holiday decor and wrapping supplies from HomeSense and Zara Home, and a discussion regarding her upcoming content schedule and personal milestones.
oh coming up them stairs ho ho ho and a merry christmas
because guys firstly welcome back to
my channel secondly sneak peek of what's
to come in my next video it's gifting season
i can't believe we've made it we
are here christmas content is upon us and
For today's video, I was a bit of a loss of what to do.
I didn't really have anything planned. I
thought I could throw in one more autumn video and I thought,
yeah, I'm going to go to like the
Holly's Farm Shop, have a nice like pumpkin experience.
It'd be my last of the autumn
content because I actually, dare I say,
prefer autumn to Christmas anyway. I love autumn
Some coziness.
But, I've seen that the hollies don't allow filming anymore, so.
All of those autumn vibes it's a bit of a drive over
for me to go as well and I thought all of
the like kind of cozy autumny clips
that I could get there I can no longer do. I don't know why
they've stopped that because I feel like a lot
of their business has been driven through content
creators getting the cozy content of all
of their beautiful setups that they do.
So I actually, I'm a bit in two minds about whether
or not I'll even bother going this
year at all, if I'm honest.
Maybe at Christmas we could go and then if I get a few clips,
if I manage to sneak a
few in, then I could.
But also as I'm getting bigger and more uncomfortable,
the thought of going on a long drive to a,
it's not even that long, 40 minutes,
something like that, 45 minutes, but to go to, no, do
you know what?
I'm being a scrooge. I will go at some point
to some kind of garden centre and have maybe more of
a festive experience as we lead into November and December.
But yeah, my next video, this is the
last one for October. Next one, we're into November.
Sunday is literally...
It's officially November 1st. So I have my first gift guide coming.
I have a few booked in this year that I wanted to bring to you.
So stay tuned for all of those. And I'm just kind
of like getting prepped and organized for all of those bits now.
But one thing I do need to do today is a food shop and I need to,
well need, need is a strong word.
I would like to pop to M&S,
given that Catherine Turner has brought out
a whole host of new goodness into stores.
I wanna try out all the fun seasonal snacks.
So we will be heading over there this morning.
Maybe a quick pop in HomeSense as well, what's in there,
because there's a good one nearby.
I'm not sure if you can hear me.
I've also got Zara Home Delivery arriving today,
which again is festive.
Got some...
Beautiful gift wrap thanks to a few of you actually
that sent me links to this Zara Christmas
gift wrap you'll see when you
when I open it it's made for me I had to buy it and then whilst I was
there I was also adding a few other Christmassy bits to my basket
so hopefully if that arrives
today I will show you that otherwise I think we're just gonna yeah head
to M&S have a little mooch.
and do a bit of a food shop
and just have a nice cozy day together so i hope you enjoy grab a
cup
if
you
haven't
already
get
cozy
get
comfy
and
let's
get
on
the
road
so
i
had
to
grab
one
i'm going to ship everything in here just
um so i need to pop away the the cleaning
the shopping. I've got some fridge and freezer bits
so I'll whiz through and show you everything
and we've got some delicious and new snacks to try
which I mean the whole point of an M&S trip is
predominantly to go and check out all of the new in food.
So thanks Catherine Turner
for influencing me. However first things first, milk.
Pretty boring. I've also got one of these salmon in a bag.
I tried the parmesan cheese one last
time and it was actually delicious.
This one's just slightly better for you. So I thought I'd
grab this one. This one's just marinated in herbs and lemon.
Super easy. You literally throw that
as it is into the oven for, is it like 20 minutes?
Yeah, 20 minutes. You've got nice,
Delicious salmon and also got cucumber,
tomatoes, avocados, just some stock ups of
Just healthy food as well, yogurts for yogurt bowls in the morning.
I love this salad so I did
decide to grab one of these, the avocado and grain,
for a lunch at some point. Another lunch
idea whilst Tom has been making sourdough every week
which has been an absolute treat
to just have some fresh sourdough.
We've actually got a little bit left although
I've definitely had at least three quarters of that loaf,
so I'll save that one for Tom.
But I also picked up for one day a soup,
a little bit of a lazy soup, but they've got some new
Christmas flavours and this honey roast parsnip.
I love parsnip soup. So treated myself to that.
I've seen people, speaking of bread, making this kind of like viral
DIY creation for a carby dinner, a real treat dinner.
So you get the crispy Kievs that M&S do,
loads of garlic, butter.
Deliciousness in these and double it up
with the chicken Kiev hot melting dip.
Very excited to see that they're bringing a turkey one for Christmas
but it's not out until December
I don't think so I thought get that combined with that.
You could just have that um and use that
that as like a bit of a dip and have double Kiev
or just sourdough dipped into this.
Just delicious, I think you just heat it up in the oven
or the air fryer for 10 minutes
and you're good to go. But yeah I've seen people do like a baguette,
spread the hot dip on and then
cut up a Kiev, layer that on and then mayo,
speaking of mayo, we love the olive oil mayo that
M&S do. Carb on carb on carb, delicious.
I hope you might try that.
I did, speaking of like carby dinners,
picky dinners, especially with M&S,
I did have a quick look at the Christmas party food
new range that they've got,
but they were kind of putting it out
or they were moving the fridges
and I just kind of felt like I was in the way.
And to be honest with you, oops, putting the hob on.
To be honest with you, I felt like I might wait
till at least November for that.
But a picky dinner.
M&S picky tea with the Christmas new in picky bits. An elite dinner
if you ask me. I'm going to have to get the brie
and cranberry tartlets and put them away for
when I've had baby. Put them in the freezer.
Although I did read you can eat brie if it's
cooked, but I just wouldn't risk it. I don't think so.
Hi.
Hi.
Baby just kicked as I said that. It's like, no to the brie.
So I'm not having brie, but it is my
favourite of all of the Christmas party foods.
Every single year, a brie and cranberry tart
is my favourite. So I feel like I'm missing out this year,
but we've always got the new year,
at which point baby might be here,
might be very close to being here. So
at some point I will have my brie and cranberry tartlets.
I also got these for the freezer.
These I've had before, the chocolate raspberries,
they're just a good little snack, evening snack to have.
But they've got these new ones out,
the ginger cookie dough.
And I love the cookie dough ones that they have there. I have to say
they're very sweet, the cookie dough ones.
These ones might be a bit more tangy, although they're
White chocolate so they're probably going to be quite sickly.
They're only small though so I feel
like just a couple of those in an evening as a bit
of a dessert sweet treat. Delish. So speaking
of desserts and sweet treats you might have seen
that they've brought out this whole new range of
Uh puddings which you can just pop in the microwave to heat up.
Now I didn't go overboard
and get one of each however I went for my top three.
Banana caramel and pecan pudding sounds
amazing. Packed with layers of caramel sauce,
banana sponge and topped with pecans. Double
chocolate cookie dough. I feel like Tom's going to enjoy this one.
Packed with a layer of milk
and dark chocolate sauce and dark chocolate chip cookie dough.
So yeah, these are like 45 seconds in the microwave.
And then apple crumble is my favorite dessert,
all-time favorite.
However, this one is apple crumble and custard.
Apple and custard crumble.
I'm not a custard fan.
So I am going to still try this
because I've heard a lot of people say it's really good.
They do a berry one as well, apple and berry crumble.
So I'm going to give you a couple of examples.
So we'll see if I actually like it with the custard.
It's kind of annoying because I wish it was just...
Apple crumble, but then it would just
be an apple crumble pop, wouldn't it? There'd be nothing new
about it. But I'll try it anyway. I will try it.
Who knows? I could be convinced to start
liking custard with my apple crumble,
but I am a double cream or ice cream, preferably double
cream though, or even clotted cream,
but just some kind of cream, just not custard. Overnight
oats, they've got a couple of new flavours.
The gingerbread overnight oats. I feel like this is
This is a repeat from last year because I remember getting
This last year, I think I'm right in saying that,
that flavour to me seems familiar. However,
I don't remember ever having this one, PB&J Overnight Oats.
And I love little overnight
oats for breakfast or for a snack.
So I got both of those, just another boring, but actually new
in. So if you are interested,
they do these pre-prepared and ready to cook veggie
Pots now and I was just finding it
so easy for like lazy girl evening that with the salmon
fairly healthy but it's just a bung in the microwave
and oven situation no cooking needed
or prep needed so that was like broccoli greens leeks peas
um okay what else I'm having to lean
over here if I was getting in the way
um I got some cottage cheese one of the new sandwiches
We're just from their lunch range.
I'm gonna have this now actually.
This is the turkey feast one that I went for.
Again, the one that I would have gone for normally
would be the brie and grape.
However, we can't be eating brie at the moment. So let's try the
turkey feast one. It's got cranberry sauce
in it as well as stuffing.
Somebody's coming over
to investigate. You hear a rustle or a pack open and you think,
oh, is there something there for
me? You can't have this.
I'll give you something else in a minute.
It's all right. I can buy it
Last but not least, some cereal. A repurchase, a new purchase.
This whole new range of cereal that
they've bought, I have been saying it's as strong as a craving
but I have loved cereal especially in
an evening and I justify it with the fact
that the milk helps with heartburn. Just throw in a few.
Bits of cereal in there and these choco hazelnut
pillows I think I'm going to really like because
I used to buy Crave all the time.
This one I bought before, this one's also really nice to
sprinkle on yoghurt bowls in the morning.
So I got another one, that's probably like my fourth
box of that, I really like it. We've got their version of the
cocoa pops as well and it's like 60% less sugar to like competitors
so it's quite low i think
per serving it's only like two grams of sugar which for a
chocolate cereal you'd expect it
to be a lot more so it's not too bad for you
Anyway, I'm going to put all these other bits away.
I managed to have a quick browse in Homesense
whilst I was there as well.
You may have seen some installed clips and they are pretty much
full-blown Christmas as well at this point.
So I picked up a couple of things. I didn't go too
crazy, but I'll show you those after I put all of the food bits away.
I don't know how I managed to forget
to show you this snack that I got from M&S,
but I'm going to try it now from the bakery section.
I made myself a little coffee in my
autumn barber golden retriever mug
from Anthropologie to just sit down and show you
the home-sense bits.
But before I do, it'd be rude not to. This is their new
Chunked and loaded sticky apple cookie.
Now I like an apple, I like a cookie.
I like a cookie, don't get me wrong.
However, if we go to a bakery, say a weekend bakery,
one of my favourite outings, excursions, hobbies,
whatever you want to call it,
I'm the sort of person that would opt for,
Tom would go for the cookie,
I would go for the banana bread or the cake
or even the brownie.
But the cookie would be...
Further down, and that's not to say I don't like a cookie, I do.
I just prefer a cake.
I think.
But I saw this flavour and had to try it.
So the other flavours, like the custard cream,
which again, I love custard cream,
but I've not been that tempted to try it.
The gingerbread and white chocolate cookies that M&S do,
again, love them, but they're just not
my top, top, top pick. However, apple flavoured things, I love.
So sticky apple cookie.
This went straight in my basket.
Let's
give it
a whirl.
Mm, that is actually really good.
Better than the turkey sandwich, that's for sure.
Which I have finished and was okay,
but I just think it was a bit dry.
Needed more cranberry on it or more stuffing and sauce.
What a lovely afternoon.
Right, can you see this sat next to me?
I bought two of these from HomeSense
to go I'm thinking on our front porch.
We've had our front porch done recently,
which obviously I haven't really shown you
because it's the front of the house,
The new stone that we've got is beautiful it's kind
of similar colour to this and I thought these
either side on the porch steps as you're leading
into coming up the steps into the house could be
really nice but they are artificial
which I suppose isn't the worst thing but hoping that
they'll be fine outside. Will they
or do I need to put them kind of like on the inside part of the
porch where they're a bit more protected?
Quite weighty though so I feel like they'll withstand
The wintry weather.
But they just came in this beautiful kind of like
stone type pot that's looking very festive as well.
I thought, yeah, you know what,
I'm going to get that for the front porch, the front steps.
It's £24.99, kind of pricey, but they're the sort of piece that I feel
like will just last year after year after year, hopefully, outside.
Fingers crossed. So I got two of those.
And then I also did get some gift wrap. This is the one
that kind of stood out to me.
They had so many styles and I always like to just buy a new Home
Sets gift wrap. Firstly, because I feel like they have
so many like new or like different designs
that you're, I don't know,
they're just a bit different than your box standard ones that you
I don't know, B&M or even M&S, whatever.
You're going to find something
a little bit different in Home Sense and TK Maxx.
So I went for this one, which is a green striped.
All of my kind of Christmas theme, and I was going to say this year,
but it has been for, I want to say a couple of years now.
Very traditional greens and reds,
tartan, very just...
Not quite like 90s nostalgia with all those colours,
but just a traditional Christmas, I want to say.
I'm just going to have to have another bite of this.
It's staring at me in the face.
That apple flavour.
It's like toffee apple.
It's actually quite suited to like bonfire.
So speaking of burgundies as well,
I also picked up a couple of these gift sacks.
I always like to buy these as kind of like gift bags
for anybody that I've got a larger item gift for.
And I always...
tend to buy gift wrap before i even buy the presents which
is probably a backward way of doing it
but i just feel like these things i can
get early enough to kind of like pop away
and then start to get organized with gifting especially this year.
Trying to get ahead of the game and these are only £5.99
and they're quite a good size for
like I said a big gift so even if it's like a dressing gown
or a blanket rolled up or often
Tom's nieces will get something like that and then a few little bits
so like to give them in a sack
is quite um quite a nice option rather than a gift bag.
So I got two of those and then
uh one other item so not much at all really 3.99 the
Ribbon, they had such a big selection of ribbons as well.
Tartans, greens, reds, whites, everything.
So I just went for this thinner.
I've got a couple of thick ones from B&M,
but I thought this one will probably go a bit further
and be a good addition to the one that I've already got.
So that was a quick sit down.
I was hoping my Zara bits would have arrived by now.
I'm not sure if they arrive in time
to include within this video,
but I'm not sure they're gonna be here today.
Like I said, if I receive them in time, I will.
Insert a little clip of me showing you those because I really want to,
especially one gift wrap in particular,
which is the whole reason I put in the order.
Woof, woof. There's your hint as to what it includes.
It's your second hint.
Just inserting this here, my little Zara home order.
Guys, look, this is the paper in question.
Of course, I had to pick up with the little goldens on.
There's some sausages below.
It's like a little Barney.
Oh, and there's a little Jack Russell as well.
But yeah, obviously had to pick this up.
I also went for these cards.
They're a lot smaller than I thought.
I thought, oh, I'll get some nice luxury cards
just for like,
Friends and family, given that we don't do loads of cards
or anything anymore, but just for those
that I do buy for. However, they're so small.
They are tiny, but I loved the fact that they came in
this envelope, you know, for like, again,
for family that I'm giving to in person. They would
be good, however, for a gift card.
They're a good gift card size. So maybe worth something,
maybe something worth considering.
But this design has a little bow on and this one has
Is it Holly? Yeah, a little Holly.
I also went for this burgundy blanket, which is so soft and cosy.
And then lastly, some Christmas tags.
I loved the design of these ones. There's two different
designs. There's a little Christmas tree,
which I think is my favourite. And then
Yeah, you can see there at the back.
You might be able to see the other one
is like a holly design,
but I think the Christmas tree is my favourite one.
But yeah, that's my little mini Zara home Christmas delivery.
So a bit of a shorter vlog today,
but I feel like I might wrap it up here
soon as though I've just started teasing the festive content.
I did buy some more home bits and gifting bits from M&S,
but they will all be featured within my gift guide content,
which is coming next.
I'm not sure if I'm going to stick to schedule or throw in a couple of
extra uploads, I'm not sure,
but the best way to over the festive period.
And the next couple of months where my scheduling
can sometimes alter or change.
And then again, leading into December,
it might even slow down a little bit
and maybe just go to Sundays
and do like Vlogmas week episodes on Sundays,
just because obviously baby's arrival will be imminent.
And I just don't know how I'm gonna feel
or what the situation's gonna be.
But the best thing to do
is probably have that notification bell switched on
so that you actually get notified
every time I do upload a video.
Thank you so much for watching this video.
For those of you that don't want to miss any content,
but yes, stay tuned for my gifting
content coming next. Have a lovely rest of your October.
We have the baby shower coming up,
so I will be sharing some clips and videos and photos,
I'm sure, over on my Instagram,
if you want to see that.
And otherwise, yeah, another autumn. Well, it's not,
it's still autumn, isn't it?
So it's still autumn until, is it the end of December?
November? December?
But officially I feel like Christmas content starts properly
from November
for us here on this channel.
We've got gifting content, we've got we'll be able to do some prep
for decorating,
decorating itself and then some festive out and about vlogs.
and content. Let me know if there's anything specific
that you want to see in the more vlog
style content that I do over
the festive period like visiting garden centres, out and about,
trips. Let me know what it is that you like to see
but otherwise thank you so much for watching
and I will see you all very soon
for my next video. Bye guys!
