So Nano 2 dropped and it is awesome.
Everyone loves it.
It's blowing up all over the internet.
And overall, if you work in anything related to content or video,
you know exactly how important AI video generation has become.
But the thing is, it is really expensive.
And so what if there was something faster, cheaper, and more consistent?
Well, I got the opportunity to try out Vidoo's new Q2 model.
It is a fast, consistent, high quality, super affordable model.
And so in this video, we're going to give it a test run.
I'm going to show you guys everything you need to know about the model
so you can decide whether you want to stick with Nano 2
or try something like the Vidoo Q2.
So let's get into it.
First off, what exactly is Vidoo Q2?
So Q2 is the latest AI video generation model from the company Vidoo.
And so it meets and exceeds Nano 2 in some areas,
with price being one of the big ones.
And so here are the main kind of selling points
or differentiators of Q2 versus Nano.
So in terms of speed, Vidoo is about 5 seconds per image generation,
which is much faster than Nano 2.
And then as far as consistency, so the same look across different generations,
this is Q2's strongest selling point, in my opinion.
So character consistency across different scenes is industry leading.
And if you've ever used other models
and your characters look entirely different across generations,
then that problem largely is being solved.
And so resolution on Q2 is 4K.
So it's natively high res and also stable as far as composition goes.
And as far as the workflow and the platform itself, it is a one-stop shop.
So you go from image creation to character extraction
to video generation all inside Vidoo.
And then here is a price comparison of the two models.
And as I was testing Q2, they gave me a discount code
such that anyone who signs up can use the image generation feature
completely for free all throughout December.
And you get 100 points.
So if you want to try it out, again,
image generation completely free, unlimited volume throughout December,
you can click on the link in the description to try that out.
So those are the selling points.
Again, character consistency is really a big one there.
And that's especially important if you work at a organization
that needs that kind of accuracy to actually put anything out there.
And so let's jump into how exactly it works.
Okay, so we're inside of my computer.
And this is what the Vidoo.com homepage and dashboard looks like.
I want to start by just introducing the high-level features
that we're about to get into that are competitive with Nano 2.
And you can see the Vidoo Q2 model mentioned right here.
So let's click on reference to image.
And in my opinion, reference image generation
is the really big differentiator here.
It's why I love this platform.
And to give you just a sample of what this looks like,
let's go ahead, let's select this one.
And you can see two images here.
Number one, the model.
Number two, the sunglasses.
And then in this prompt, what we're saying is
So we're using these reference objects,
and then we're going to merge them,
or we can play with them through the Q2 model.
And for example, let's go ahead and click create.
And you can see exactly what this looks like.
And you can see it took that exact model,
the exact sunglasses,
and merged them in a very hyper-realistic manner.
And you can see why that's so important,
because what you start to do is build references.
For example, a reference could be a product that you sell.
It could be you as an individual in the content you create.
And then you can pull that together.
And samples don't have to have a clean white background.
You can see right here, this is reference video
that we looked at in this previous video.
You can have all kinds of images
with all kinds of backgrounds, as specific as you want.
And what's pretty incredible is
you can have up to 10 reference images.
You can pull together 10 objects,
scenes, characters into the same image.
So that's reference to image.
You also have, of course, text to image.
So I want to do a little character consistency test.
So here we have an image of a person,
or two people, and also a dog.
So let's say, play around with the settings
of image one and image two.
So change the backgrounds,
and also make the people hold the dog
instead of the flowers.
And then we're going to set it to Q2,
and then four images.
And something I also want you to note is the speed here.
So these images are generated
at about five seconds per image,
which is significantly faster than models like Nano 2.
And so let's go ahead and test the consistency
across these different scenes.
So you can see the reference image here was these flowers,
and here we have the four variants
of the image with the dog.
So that looks great.
You know, the dog is fully swapped in with the flowers.
Now let's go ahead and switch out the backgrounds.
And then as a third test here,
let's go ahead and change the clothes to formal attire,
and have them hold the dog again for the flowers.
And we'll see as well if it can stay consistent.
So here we can see the same characters.
So good consistency there with a different background.
And here we can see,
I think this one especially is really good
across all of these images.
We have the dog being held in the same characters.
So you can notice the faces look exactly the same.
We'll put a little comparison on the screen,
and they look the same across these multiple backgrounds.
Now a big advantage as well to this platform
and using the Q2 model specifically
is if we just hit switch to AI video right here,
and then we go to these characters
and we hit save as reference,
I can now call this couple with dog.
We can give a voice,
and then now I've saved this as a reference.
So then what I can do now in AI video
is I can pull in this reference that we created.
I'll say make couple with dog look happy together
in this city environment,
like they're on their way to a party.
We'll do a three second video.
Let's go ahead and create that.
So there as well,
you can see the consistency in the images
and excuse me,
the characters as well as with the dog.
And you can see some of the generations
from a previous video as well.
So that's a woman walking down the beach.
This is a guy in a coffee shop.
And I think we have me in here somewhere.
Yep, here I am.
And so right here is the AI image editing leaderboard,
and we can see the Q2 models right here
sitting in number six.
So right up there with the Nano Banana Pro models
and also sitting on top of GPT-5.
Now let's also say you don't have any images to pull from.
We can go ahead and just insert text right here.
We'll generate three variations.
We'll do 4K resolution
and let's see the Q2 generation capabilities here.
And here we can see what one of those generation looks like.
This is a hyper-realistic Apple.
Now we do want to focus more on the use case
that many of you may use the Q2 model for
that also emphasizes the big
or one of the big advantages here,
which is the reference to image consistency.
So let's go to Ridge Wallet, right?
So it's a pretty popular consumer company.
They have their unique kind of styled wallets.
And then what I will do is I will save an image of this wallet.
Then I'll drop that image in as a reference.
And then let's go find a studio
for product photography background.
Okay, I'm going to go with this
and I'll say insert the image one product
into the image two background.
Keep it hyper-realistic and spin it around
in image two like in a video ad.
So this should show the different angles of it.
We can go ahead and click four
and we'll go to 4K resolution with the Q2 model.
Okay, and here we can see these product images.
So you can see it keeps the consistency
across the different products
and it showcases it in these different angles
including the actual back of the wallet.
Okay, so after that, if you think video Q2
is ideal for you or your company
and you're watching this in December,
I said this earlier, but ultimate users
get unlimited 1080p image generation
for the entire month of December
that is unlimited volume
while standard and pro users
get 300 free generations per month.
So that's text to image, reference images
and editing all supported.
And so again, if you're a creator
or a marketer or advertiser
in December is definitely the time to give it a go.
And if cost at all is a major concern to you,
again, you saw the price comparison
that cost difference
is going to make a big difference to you.
That's whether you're a content creator
or an animator or a marketer.
So to try the Q2 model for yourself
head to vidu.com that is V-I-D-U.com
or the links in the description.
And then let me know how it compares for you
to your current workflow
or to the nano suite of models.
That said overall, it's cool
that this technology is evolving so fast.
And I think as an economist
competition is what will drive down costs
for all of us as quality continues
to go through the roof.
It's an exciting little bit scary
but exciting future for all of us
who work in content
in any kind of shape or form.
And I think Q2 versus nano
is a emblem of that race.
So thank you all for being here
and I'll see you in the next one.
Cheers.
