How to Use AI Voice Tools In Your Business | MiniMax

But we've entirely missed one entire domain of AI technology that I want to introduce to you in this video. And that domain is voice. And I think voice is so impactful as a medium because it is fundamentally what we consider to be human. And sure, AI passed the Turing test of writing like a human. But in my mind, the real Turing test, the Turing test where you feel like you're with a human being is when voice gets cracked. And voice in a lot of ways has been cracked. There are incredible AI voice technologies and platforms out there, one of which we're going to be looking at today. And so in this video, we're going to be looking at one of those platforms. And specifically, I'm going to introduce various workflows and features to you that you can use as a business owner, a professional, a creative, or a student. My goal here is by the end of this video for you to walk away with at least one measurable workflow or feature that you can implement in your business or your life to save you time, save you money, or just make something better or more of it. So quality, quantity, or savings, that's the focus of everything we're going to look at in today's video through this really powerful and I think inspiring medium of AI voice. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to type in something that maybe an intro that I would say in a YouTube video. Okay. So I've written my sentence that I want to be converted to speech, and then I'm going to select the voice in the right here. So I press there and here I can see the library of all the different voices that are available. So for example, let's listen to a few of these. Now here's one recommendation for you when you do this, especially in applications like, for example, audiobooks. And I've used AI speech synthesis a lot for actually recording audiobooks instead of having to record or, excuse me, to hire narrators, is to just take the speed and turn it down just a little bit. And I find you can do the same for the pitch a little bit, and that I find typically helps it sound even more natural. So I'll click regenerate there, and we can listen to that version. And that takes me to a really powerful feature that I'm very excited to show you, and I think might be the most applicable to a lot of you watching. That is voice cloning. So I'm here in speech synthesis. I'm going to click over here under AI tools on voice cloning. And then there are two options here. Either you add a file of you speaking or you record audio. And what's really powerful about Minimax's feature here specifically is that you don't need eight hours of recordings of you. You can record as little as a 10 second clip of your voice and it will clone your voice. And so when you think about that as a founder or someone who's busy all the time or someone in content, being able to reproduce your voice anytime you want and have anyone else reproduce it. And if I was doing this right, what I would do is use a mic just like this, record my voice and plug the mic, the quality audio into the platform to reproduce my voice. And who knows, maybe I already have in fact done this in a YouTube video. Maybe that can be a little challenge for viewers. And so again, if you make any kind of content where your voice is included, well now you can delegate essentially your voice. So super useful, especially if you deal in content. And next we're looking at voice design. And if you deal in any type of content, again, this is super useful because you can create the voice that you need. I've also worked in publishing for a long time. You and I over many videos have spoken at length about that. And if you need, especially for, for example, a fiction book and narration, you need different voices and characters. This is the perfect application for this feature. So as an example, let's just click gruff detective and you can see the prompt here that's used for this voice. So gruff world, weary male detective, low page, slightly raspy speaking in a direct, no nonsense manner. So you just describe the voice naturally with text. And then let's see what that sounds like. I'll use the same sentence again, and this will be fun because again, the gruff detective is the, uh, is the voice and let's click generate. Okay. Let's listen to the voice. Hey, I'm John. Now, another big use case here is faceless YouTube channels. That's a really big thing right now. A lot of people are working in that space as well as videos for businesses where you need it's same concept as a voice without a face in them. So I can go excited radio host, for example, I'll label that as female and English, I can save it. And now if I want to go synthesize audio with that voice, I can go back to here. And then I can select under my voices excited radio host. Okay, the next feature is one that's very practical, I can guarantee you're going to want to use this if you work in editing specifically in content. This is voice isolator. So what it does is if you have dirty audio or audio with wind or something in the background, this is going to help isolate the voice with AI. So you have clean audio for your video. So as an example, I'm going to record right now a piece of bad audio. And we'll see what it sounds like. So I placed the mic all the way over there. There's lots of background noise. But for example, a whole workflow here is something you could automate is to go to GPT and say, I want a prompt for a music creator, where I want the song to fit the style of background B roll music for my YouTube blog, write the prompt for me. So now we're going to see GPT, write the prompt. And I'm going to take this whole prompt, I'm just going to paste it back here under music creation. And click Create, I just realized I didn't edit this. So let's go ahead and edit that. And now we will kick create it, we could see that song being generated right here. And in the meantime, here's one of those songs I already generated. gentle hue colors softly breaking through. So pretty good. And now let's listen to our daily blog groove. A moment's vibrant, big and small, easy rhythm playing answering life's sweet call. Chill energetic spirits brightly bloom chase a wide candid stories whisper the room. So just the quality of the vocals there honestly is what impresses me the most like the fact that you can have just AI voices that sound that musical.
