Mountain Sledding in Alaska Camping at Gold Claim

Tommy here with Outdoor Tom YouTube channel and today I'm going up to my friend's cabin. We're going to do a whole bunch of fun stuff. We're going to do snow machining, sledding, digging out forests, and sleeping over. We're going to have a ball so come along and join us for the ride. Dad you ready to go on an adventure? Yay! We're currently at a gas station right now and dad forgot his wallet and we're out of gas so we're going to try to see if we can afford if we can use his phone to uh buy some gas. Apparently the google pay worked. So where are we going Tom? We're going to my friend's gold mine. This is my best friend Donnie. Hi. And uh he invited us to go camping with him today. This is lovely. Oh thanks for inviting us. This is really nice of you. Oh yeah no it's fun. Should I put it right here? What do you think? Yeah this is awesome isn't it? It doesn't smell like mold. There's not a burned out wall. Oh Donnie. Donnie is bringing game. Look at that. Yes. Pretty cool? Yes. Yeah. How old is this thing Donnie? 95 years old. 95 years old. It's pretty cool. Oh that's. Blueberry room. That's it? And there was no such thing as a weekend. Oh you got some games. Wait there's a third story? Yeah so here's the here's the penthouse. Oh nice skis. Does electricity work? Yeah it's wired still. Yeah. Tommy I don't think you've ever seen a National Geographic. I have. Look at that this is 1980s. Dang this is ancient books. Isn't that cool? Ancient books. Uh I've been studying world war two. Does this have plumbing? It does um the water is currently frozen. It comes up from a lake. We're going to play some chess. Oh I'm starving. My dad gave me this weird Thai pizza. It was like if a salad vomited on a pizza. Donnie's mom got a soda and cookies. The best combination but the worst for your diet. I won by a yield. So yeah that was very fun. Wonder what we'll do next. We got fire started. Yeah that's gonna be nice. Oh yeah. You want me to balance you? Yeah. Well here if I do it next to you you're gonna end up clobbering Donnie. You want me to give you a hay baler? Yeah. You're the hay baler okay? Ready go step as a board. Ready? Did he give me a lesson on hay balers? Just give it a board just smash him in and pull him up on three pants. I get to get some pants and shirt. All right you're kind of in the middle. There you go. Hay baler. That is fun. He's not doing it he's just screaming and crying. It's about 10 30 so we're gonna start wrapping this party up and uh get our stuff ready for bed. Donnie said that's one of his favorite rooms. Share a bed actually. Super late. I'm going to get to bed. I'll see you in the morning. Good night. Get up. Get up. Warming up right by the fire. We're going to do some fun stuff today aren't we? Yeah. Oh we got some hot cocoa. If only you had a donut to dunk it in. No we should have a mountain. Now we're getting unhealthy not like before. My dad made some a cobbler which is basically cherry pie filling and cake mix mixed together. He vacuum sealed it and now we're boiling it up. Here you want to pull it out? Where do I put it? You want me to help you with that? Yes it doesn't want to work. I believe I can cut. Oh wow. It's all in the heart. So this is this is my experience. Smells good? Yeah it's okay. I like it better not mashed up in a bag but it's not bad. So I'm currently at what uh Donnie calls Fort Benjamin. A little fort that they made out of wood. We're going to see if we can dig it out and get into it. Oh I think we digged it out. Let's try out getting in. Let's try opening it. How is it? I don't know. I think like this nail right here is making this top part not go out. Yeah. And uh this is Fort Benjamin on the inside. But dang look at this. I think it's in the ladder. Oh there's an upstairs? But dang. Got a little peekaboo hole right out there. It's pretty snug. Spy hole. Duh. I think I think it's nailed in Donnie. I found out that's nailed in. Was that fun? Yeah. There put that on the trail head. Hey Donnie you can clip yours on if you like. I should do. Okay hop on. I'll give you a ride up. Take the GoPro down with me. You want to. And we're stopped. All right here go get your sled. I'll get your hat. Take the camera. Catch. Did you see me wipe out? Nice run. Tommy was that fun? Yeah. You're full of snow. Oh crap. I came in like a wrecking ball. A race? Yeah. Three, two, one, go. Oh. You okay there Tom? Well let's hurry up and do it again. There you go. Looking good bud. No that's because I'm. Go. Where's the GoPro? Oh. Oh. Wipe out. The reason why we keep wiping out is because we can't see a thing on these sleds. The clouds are covering the sun and it's all just white. So we keep going off like ramps and bumps and not even knowing it. There you go. From that wipe out earlier. All right well that is full of snow. I know each time you're driving. I'm gonna stack that up by the next one the other way. Probably getting close to when we need to go home too. I hate it when it gets all white out. You just can't see anything. The visibility went bad didn't it? Yeah. So I started crashing and hurting myself. I'm not that cup of hot chocolate can cure, right? What are you up to Tom? He's being attacked by killer bees. Nice. Why don't you do the flicking technique? Sleeping bags breathe a little bit. Pillow fight. Watch the Cheetos. All right Tom I think we need to get packed up. Here I'll get that.
