Day trip in mountain/ Cooking on campfire/ Off leash play time with my cat/ Van life in BC

I thought it's not raining so might as well to go have a campfire and a little lunch on the campfire. That's what we're gonna do. All right guys we made it we're not gonna go further because if you look the dirt road here it's got a tin tin just a tin part of the snow but it's getting icy a little bit so there's like just down here a place where I can have a bar so this is what we're gonna do. We're gonna have to uh just walk a little bit to the fire it's okay are you ready? Yeah I don't want to go further because to come here it's just pretty steep and like you cannot stop like you have to go so it's just like okay let's do it and I was getting more and more snow like I don't have choice I have to keep going because if I slow down or I cannot turn around obviously so um yeah so we'll see if I sleep here if I see start snowing which I think supposed to rain tonight so probably gonna snow here uh maybe I'm just gonna drive a little bit down and sleep just down the whole uh like I saw some uh some camper already took like the first the first little campsite around the road so I was like ah I'm gonna have to go for a little bit further a little bit further a bit further it's okay we made it we just uh just want to have like a little campfire and a little lunch around the campfire that's my plan. It's cold today that should be all right I think Kelly is not sure with the snow oh you escaped that's not nice be careful some people on the road if you're worried about Kelly she's never go very far she's just right there she look at me right now I think I'm gonna let her a little bit off leash she do have a little bit of off leash time um when I know she's not gonna go far and because it's snowing right now I have a feeling that she's gonna be like oh no I'm stay close and I have a bag of her favorite treat if I need it find a little place without any snow yep you're not gonna go far everybody yeah you have to stay beside mama so campfire will be right here happy to be freaky you run pretty fast it's careful crazy girl she's so happy right now as long as you don't go far I don't mind and I'm gonna use some fire starter because it's quite wet it's just just useful in those those environment Kelly what are you doing come here having fun in the snow you're so funny baby so the fire looking good I'm gonna put more wood into it at least the wood was dry so it's good I think if I do more off leash with Kelly she's just right here right now uh maybe I should buy her a little like jacket but like red or like some color that I can really see her because she's just blend in like forest with that color on you know like same color to the wood and she was just like a little bit in the branch there and I was like calling her and she she nicely just poke her nose which is great most of the time she doesn't do anything which like I know she's not going far but I don't see her like she's just in like in the bush waiting that the mouse or bird come by and she doesn't want to move and I can be right beside her calling her she's like gonna be like why are you calling me I'm right there like I don't know I don't see you so uh she's just playing in the snow she's just so happy right now which makes me happy to give her more and more free time I've done a couple of free time with her this summer she did amazing but it was hot so I knew she would not want to go very far but yeah I'm happy right now she doesn't go far and I've been here a couple of times so I kind of like a little bit know the area so it's great for that so if you don't know why I came here what we're doing I just wanted to be a little bit in nature I just kind of been missing it for all the rainfall that we had didn't want to be in the wood because was not the best it was a little bit dangerous if you want uh but now I'm just like oh I don't think I'm gonna sleep here tonight though I just with the snow on the ground it's just gonna be so icy and I don't have like chain which I know I have to do it I've been thinking about it they are quite expensive and I've been putting that off and now that I'm here and it's got a little bit of snow and it's gonna be really steep hill I'm like I should have had some snow chains so uh I'm gonna have this because we're probably gonna anyway cross Canada in beginning of March which gonna be still maybe some snow so um I have some good winter tarp but even that you know having some chains always good so uh yeah we are here to enjoy nature and I just felt to have a little quick meal nothing fancy on the dutch oven I'm just gonna try to have like a miso soup I've been craving it so just what I'm gonna have nice warm soup beautiful day uh is cold and chilly but it's okay she's been running back and forth the trail there back there right there right there she's so funny so I'm gonna go in the van bring bring this and this back and I'm gonna bring a little blanket for Miss Kenny so uh she can have a little warm place to put a little paw and warm up she's been so good guys I'm so happy she just play run everywhere jump on every tree and the van is just on top of that little hill I couldn't like I didn't want to gamble and back up on this trail here I was worried I would not be able to get up just a little walk you work with you don't have to if you don't want but you wanna stay inside again you make me happy you're so good baby yes well I guess while we are back here I'm just gonna bring everything to make my little miso soup I'm probably gonna forget some stuff but at least at least I can have like one one load done come here kitty I'm gonna put the blanket here there you go come good girl look right here it's for you no right here kitty try it it's gonna warm up your feet yes it's gonna warm up your feet I think she'll have a little place nice and warm kitty all right so like I said I was craving some miso soup first I'm not gonna do that the only miso that I found was in the bag I was surprised I was like okay yeah and all the instructions are in Chinese so I have no idea how much I'm supposed to put apparently I'm not supposed to boil and for a long time the miso was just at the end so I got some bok choy our green onion and I have like broccoli that kind of like getting old and I have to eat it and I buy some tofu firm one because I don't like the soft one even though usually that's what they put in the miso soup so I think I'm gonna put water boil some water put the vegetable and the miso the green onion and the tofu will be at the end I think that's what I'm gonna do all right boil water all right so you probably don't see but I put the broccoli a couple minutes ago and I'm gonna put the bok choy and tofu and yeah I think I cooked that for a minute or so it's funny I went to the van to grab a bowl and Katie heard the door you know when I closed the door she ran right back I'm like I'm not leaving without you baby of course she's so cute she's still outside it's probably been a good hour if not two hours that we are here right now and she behaves so well she just when I don't see her I call her and she just poke her nose and like everything is good so my soup must be ready now so I'm just gonna put the miso paste I have no idea how much I'm supposed to and some green onion and I think that's gonna be it all right this is what the soup looks like and smells so good so good guys this is perfect when you're cold that was good I still have a little bit left so I'm gonna put down the bowl it's gonna be for tomorrow and I'm gonna put everything back to the van and Katie oh she's climbing a tree just get down on the tree she's still outside it's probably been like I think it's been three hours she's outside right now she just love it she's been really good and I like I say I thought about like that little red jacket that I could buy her but she climbed so many trees that I'm worried that she would get caught maybe in like one tree with the jacket on that would be bad you know I'm gonna have to think about it but having something on her that she would be more visible for me would be great but I don't want to have any problem you know like she climbed super high in the tree because she go like pretty high sometimes and you know like she gets stuck in the bench with the jacket on like what I'm supposed to do after that you know what I mean we get to a bigger problem so yeah I'm gonna have to think about it all right I think I mean I'm gonna go for a little walk I'm gonna bring some treats she's still off leash and the fire is pretty much pretty much done here and I think we're gonna go after that I don't want to go too far too late so the road is still doesn't froze and if I'm stuck on the way back down at least at this afternoon it's got a little bit more traffic of people doing some four by four and all this so maybe someone's gonna help me even though I'm pretty heavy with all the camper not so many camper can help me but at least I'm still at a service here so it's not super stressful but just I just don't want to do this if it's supposed to snow tonight no bad idea so unfortunately we're not going to sleep here but it was a nice little afternoon in nature which we didn't need it and I'm really happy that we've done this so kitty's already already down the trail so I'm better to hurry up there you go right there let's go we're going for a walk it's a little cave that's a cool cute little cave someone made a fireplace too yep let's go hurry up kitty good girl let's go okay let's go oh yes good job oh you're awesome you're awesome you can have more treats just two little more it's good enough I'm so proud of kitty I think she'll only be like three or four hours I don't know what time it is I think it's yeah 2 30 and we arrive around 10 so it's been a while so we're gonna slowly make our way down so thank you so
