I hope so. I hope it's working. Surprise guys, we're doing a live show. Wasn't completely... I mean we normally do live shows on Friday, so it's kind of sort of planned, but it wasn't like completely planned because I had like a bunch of meetings and a bunch of things going on today. But we thought we would jump on here for a Friday live show. I meant to schedule it earlier in the day, but I didn't know when we would actually be home. So I'm like, if I schedule it and I don't make it, then you guys will be waiting and then what do I do? So, hi up close Oakley. Hi up close Oakley, how's it going? Hi, it's your biggest yawn in the world from Miss Oakley. Hi, baby. I know, I know. Yeah, so uh, we're doing a live show. We're gonna answer some of you guys's questions, like always. We'll give it a second here and let a couple more people come in. To any of you that are joining and didn't realize I was doing a live show today. Sorry! We will try to catch as many as we can down in the comments and answer as many as we can. I apologize now. We never get to them all. It's impossible to get to them all because we have so many people commenting and asking questions. But I will do my best to try to get as many questions answered as I can. Answering the first question that I know you guys are gonna ask, where is Jamie? Jamie is with his cousin right now. So he is not actually going to be part of this live show today. Which is another reason I didn't really know when I was gonna be able to do it. But I figured I'm just gonna do it and not wait for him. So we're just gonna go ahead and do this on our own. He might show up in the comments. But uh, yeah. So anyway, there's my Shelby. Memphis is actually... She's right here because I'm sitting on the floor. So she thinks that she needs to be in my lap and if I try to pull my hand away from her she's like, um, hey, no, wait, you need to pet me. All I need to pet you. Is that what's going on? Because I'm sitting on the floor. What if I don't? Oh, okay. Oh, oh, I need to pet you? That's how this works, huh? What if I just... What if I don't... Oh, oh, I need to? I need to? We're doing a live stream. So, a couple of the questions I saw already. One of them was, how's Shelby doing? Shelby's doing really good. You can see right on the side here. She did get her stitches out of her side and out of her neck. She got them out yesterday. Yeah, was it yesterday? Yeah. Yesterday, she got her stitches out. So she's actually doing pretty good. Oh, she's giving her kisses. No, don't paw at the camera. Don't tip the audience over. That's where you want to be, right there. Really hard to see you when you're right there, but okay, be right there. So, yeah, again, as I said, Super Chat questions will be answered first and then any other questions we're gonna try to answer as they go through. Somebody asked about Shelby's surgery results. We actually still don't have the results of her surgery yet. We don't have the results of Shelby's surgery yet. I was hoping to get them today, so that we could talk about them in the live show, but we don't. We don't have them yet. Andrea wants to know if we've ever gone live on Instagram. We have gone live on Instagram. We just don't do it very often. We have like 200,000 followers on Instagram, but whenever we go live, it seems like nobody gets notified and I don't know if that's an Instagram issue or if it's an issue on our end. I'm not really sure, but we have done it before. It's just not very often. Somebody asked how Oakley's doing. She's doing okay. She's still got the red staining around her face. She's had it around her eyes too, but that's actually a tear duct issue that we've been dealing with with her. But she's got, you can kind of see it. I don't know how well you guys can see it. She's got some red staining around her face. We took her to the vet and they kind of said, well, you know dogs get old. But they gave us some antibiotics to give to her to see if maybe those would help her a little bit. So we're kind of hoping that they do. Somebody asked how you do super chat. Will Shelby's condition go away? Um, that was Eleanor that asked that. Well, we don't really know what her condition is. We know she had cancer. We know that when we went to the cancer doctor, they didn't find any metastasized cancer. But we don't have the results back from the most recent two bumps that we have have had removed. So I think this is something we'll probably be dealing with with Shelby for the rest of her life. But we'll just take it day by day and deal with it as things happen. That's pretty much what we can do. Oakley is 13 years old. Who is the most playful? It's between Shelby and Memphis for sure. Shelby has playful moments. Memphis is more playful like all the time. Alyssa said, how do I tell my mom I have anxiety and might need help like getting a service dog or medication? Um, you can tell your mom that but you're actually gonna have to have a diagnosis from a doctor. So I would maybe try to discuss it with your mom if you feel like that's a thing and see if she could take you to a doctor so you can find out. Memphis is seriously trying to knock you guys over. I don't even know if I can turn. I'll try to turn the camera slow since I'm doing this from my phone. She's got her paw right here is actually on the tripod. You should definitely report it. And if you really do fear that they're gonna do something to you or your dogs, when you report it, file a restraining order as well. Don't wait. Just report it. I don't know how to answer that. They're people? They're like people everywhere else. We're not weird, because we live in a small town. We live in Michigan in the United States. Somebody just asked that, I couldn't see who it was, because it went by too fast. That's the other nice thing about super chat, like if you have a question that you really want answered, when you super chat it, it like highlights it, so I can actually see it instead of it just flying right by. Are you going to VidCon? Yes. Yes, we already have our tickets for VidCon. We will be at VidCon. The dogs are not going to VidCon. Sadly, we've tried to get VidCon to let them come, but it's just it's not a real pet friendly place. Which is okay, because it is in California, so it would be kind of hard to have the dogs there and do everything. So we'll stick with pet expos to bring the dogs to and then VidCon, Jamie and I will be there. Which dog is the biggest? You guys are never gonna believe this, but the biggest dog we have right now is actually Shelby. Shelby outweighs Oakley by two pounds right now. How long have you done this for like your job? YouTube? How long have we done YouTube as a job? Two, well as full-time job, two years. How long have we been actually doing this? We've been doing this for eight years now. Is that right? No. Yeah, eight years. It'll be nine years this year. So eight years. We've been doing this for eight years. How much do they eat? They eat a cup and a half total in a day. Is Oakley like eating all the extra food you are giving her? Yeah, we're not actually giving her that much extra food. The dogs normally eat a cup and a half a day and we've increased Oakley right now to two cups a day. So she's only getting a little bit of extra food, not like a ton of extra food. Just a little bit. The vet just wants to see if maybe we can put a little bit of weight back on her. How old is Shelby? Shelby's 10. Is there anything Memphis won't eat? Like Oakley won't eat a banana. Memphis doesn't like anything vinegary. If it has like a vinegary... Oakley, you got a fluffy on your face. If it has a vinegary smell, she doesn't like it. Where's the other camera? I'm doing this from my phone. Mainly because it's a little bit more convenient for us to actually do a live show like this. I just feel like this is a more fun experience than the camera being so far away from them during a live show. I actually plan on buying a gimbal for my phone, so that I can do a little bit more and have more smooth motions. Because I did notice going back and re-watching the live shows from my phone, any type of motion like this, makes things a little bit blurry for you guys. So I'm hoping that a gimbal will help stop that from happening. Will you get a collie? Collies aren't really snow dogs, are they? They're all going so fast! Again, this is why super chats work the best. What kind of shampoo do you use? We don't actually bathe our dogs that often. I don't even know, I think we have some type of... Some all-natural shampoo that we have right now. I'm not even sure what it is, but we don't bathe our dogs often, that often. How's your kitchen? It looks like a kitchen. We haven't done anything in the kitchen. I've been going to meetings left and right for the past week. We have stuff going on with our local animal shelter that I didn't used to be involved in, that I'm now involved in again. So, I've literally been going to meetings and trying to figure things out and trying to help and trying to do stuff for the past week. It's been a lot of work. So we actually didn't get to start the kitchen like we had planned on doing. Yes, I like Harry Potter. No snow dogs vlogs today. So the vlog over on snow dogs vlogs is probably gonna go up at nine o'clock in the morning tomorrow. We actually had a little sponsored spot in it that they were supposed to approve for us and they didn't as they said they were going to. Miss Daisy says I have a Husky of my own who recently started pooping and peeing in my apartment. I take him out and he won't poop unless he's at a dog park and only pees when taken out. Any advice? I don't know how old your dog is because you didn't really say, but you definitely definitely definitely want to work on or go back to like treating the dog like they're a puppy. That is the best thing you can do. Anyway, yeah, go back to treating the dog like they're a puppy. Like literally like they're a puppy. Let them out every hour, reward them every time they go to the bathroom outside. It does happen from time to time. Sometimes dogs just forget. They're like, oh something's new, something changed and now we forget. What'd you find Memphis? Can there be cupcakes for dogs? We have done cupcakes for dogs. Shelby likes dip on everything. Why is your Christmas tree still up? You must be new. The Christmas tree is still up because we leave the Christmas tree up every year until at least January 17th because that was the day that Shiloh passed away. So the tree stays up at least until then and then I take it down whenever I feel like it. And I just don't feel like it. Oh, Oakley's gonna play too? Oakley, are you gonna play too? They'll let ya. No, the dogs, my dogs have never actually been skunked. They bump into you. Don't stand in the middle of them. They won't bump into ya. She's like, but I kind of think I want to play, but I'm not really sure if I want to play. But I kind of think I want to play. You're so goofy. Your dog's been skunked eight times. We've actually, we, I do a pretty good perimeter check for the yard and skunks tend to dig under fences and not climb over them. They can climb over them, but they usually dig down before they go up. So we constantly perimeter check the yard. So that we don't get skunks in the yard. Opossums are the same ways. Opossums will climb up as well, but they dig under as well. You have any advice for an overweight three-year-old? Well, if you think you are giving the dog enough exercise and they still won't lose weight, you may want to have their thyroid checked. Like you may want to actually take them to the vet and have their thyroid checked. The other thing you can do is maybe decrease their food intake a little bit and increase their exercise a little bit and then talk with your vet. Especially if you have have a vet near you that is like a nutritionist. They should be able to help you like figure out a good plan of action for what to feed your dog, how much to feed your dog and things like that. But we thought about going to that and then doing like a meet and greet while we were there as well. Which dog is most active Memphis and Shelby? Yes, bones are good for their teeth. Raw bones, but like not all bones. Not all bones are good for their teeth. Rib bones are good, like the softer bones are definitely like femurs and stuff like that. The big hard bones can actually be really hard on their teeth, even if they are raw. Meet and greet sometime in Chicago. Maybe. Is there a pet expo? I feel like there should be a pet expo in Chicago. Chicago is so big. Try St. Louis, there's decent places. I think Kansas City, Missouri is where blog paws is held. None of my dogs are likely to get skunked because we perimeter check our yard too often for that to happen. Not to say it won't happen, but we definitely try to keep an eye on it. Where do we live? Because they consider it spam. I mean because it kind of is. Does Mackinac ever totally freeze over? The Mackinac Straits? Yeah, they've made it. It's frozen where you could actually ride a snowmobile across from Mackinac City to St. Ignace. Doesn't happen often, but it does happen. I don't think we could do a meet-and-greet in Ireland. We can't get the dogs to Ireland. That'd be cool, but... My dogs are too big to fly in the upfront part of a plane and they have to fly in cargo and there's no way. Look, Oakley's on the couch. She's like, I don't know how I feel about it yet. It's kind of bouncy compared to the other couch. But I think I like it. It's pretty much what she's done every time she's got up there so far. I had seen Shiloh's story video that Memphis was meant to be one, but I actually just wanted to know. No, none of the dogs have ever actually gone to any dog shows, but Memphis's brother was the number one Husky in the United States for 2016 and 2017. That was Memphis's brother. Do you want me to move the pillows? Are the pillows in your way? Is that what's going on? She's like, I don't know. Still don't know how I feel about this couch. When dogs have their teeth cleaned, they actually have to be like put under anesthesia, so they had to put the little medicine into her leg. I know, I feel like all the dogs have a spot on their leg right now, except for Oakley. But yeah, Memphis had her teeth cleaned. Brownies for dogs! We did tuna brownies. We could do other brownies. We haven't done that yet. Meatloaf for dogs. That's a cute idea. Candy for dogs. That's a cute idea too. What are you girls doing? Are you sniffing her? Did she smoke it? Like what would you do differently for popcorn for dogs than people? Because popcorn is just popcorn. But yeah, we are gonna go ahead and end this, so I'll try to get to a couple more questions. You can see that's dog fur in front of Memphis right there. We just uh, we, we adult and we take care of it. We vacuum and vacuum and brush and vacuum. Somebody said something about a prosthetic. What? I missed that. Cybernetic prosthetic for Oakley. I don't know what that is. Oakley's like, I'm gonna check this out. What vacuum do we use? We have a Dyson 360i. We have a Dyson V8 cordless. I have a Dyson canister vac and I have a Dyson animal upright. And we have a Dyson V6. We have five. No joke. We actually have five vacuums. They all stay in different areas of the house and they all have different purposes, but they do help out with the hair quite a bit. But we have a lot of vacuums. Yeah, that's gonna be on the other channel. I'm going to VidCon just to see you guys. Awesome. We will be there. We will be doing a meet and greet at VidCon again, like we did last year as well. So we'll have like, I'll pick somewhere and uh, let you guys know where it's gonna be. But I'm so excited. The only thing we still have to get for VidCon is our plane tickets. Oh my goodness. VidCon 2018. I know. I wish we could be featured creators at VidCon so we could bring the dogs there. So we could do like a talk for you guys, but maybe one of these years. Oh, bye Stelby. Bye.
