Sen. Bernie Moreno makes stops across Ohio to talk about provisions in the Working Families Tax Cut, giving Americans more money in their pockets through No Tax on Overtime, Trump Accounts, and investments in American manufacturing.
Ohio Senator Bernie Moreno is spending the next couple days traveling around the state
talking about the positive impact people will now see from President Trump's big beautiful
bill. The senator visited the waste management site in Oakwood to speak with workers. Today
begins what I call the one big beautiful bill tour. What we need to do is really talk to people
about what's in the bill. The senator passed through Youngstown today stopping at City
Machine Technologies to talk about the no income tax on overtime pay provision in the new law. By
time they do all the math it's about $7,500 in the hands of working Americans per year. It's a
big difference. The employees here told me they finally feel that they have a government that's
working for them. It's going to make a big difference for my family with the no tax on
overtime. It's going to put more money back in our pocket. Eighty percent of professional
firefighters, IFF members, work a 53-hour work week or more. This key overtime provision here
is so impactful. Bernie Moreno's visiting Wapakoneta earlier stopping by the side rail
restaurant to talk about the no income tax on tips provision. No income tax on tips or overtime
relief for seniors. We strengthened Medicaid. We added 20 percent to Medicaid nationally and then
we added a 50 billion dollar rural hospital fund. That rural transformation fund is going to be
very important for for the economics and the vitality of rural hospitals. He also spoke about
the so-called Trump accounts which will give a thousand dollars to families who have a child.
A thousand dollars into a index fund. Your employer, business groups, relatives, family,
friends can put up to five thousand dollars more per year. If you buy an American-made automobile
you can deduct an interest that you pay on that loan. We're making America an energy-dominant
country. That's part of the big beautiful bill. Inexpensive energy, good workforce, good tax
policies. We secured our border. We funded our military and massive regulatory reform
that's allowing these companies to make investments. What we want
is good high-paying jobs so we have a strong vibrant middle class.
