Hey y'all, ignore the mess behind me. It's actually better. You probably can't tell,
but it is actually a little better. All of that right there is signing ribbon sets I'm working on,
so that'll be disappearing soon. I'm getting much closer. I'll be glad when I get it all set up.
It's closed though. Okay, we are going to be doing one of the moss wreaths tonight. I thought
this would be fun. I even have my little, look here, I got my little vacuum ready so that when
I'm done I can clean up the mess, because there will be a mess. All right, make sure I got my
guess that's on. All right, let me show you what we're gonna do here.
Oh, I'm hot y'all. Okay, that's not far. Hold on. There we go. There, much better.
That's good. Okay, a little this way. All right, so I have been dying to use this ribbon.
This is the ribbon that has the, it has little yellow roses on it, but it's also blue.
I didn't want to do yellow roses. Honestly, it's very hard to find yellow roses,
so I have blue roses. Aren't they cute? Look at that. They're so pretty, and then I have
some yellow flowers. I don't know what kind these are. Aren't they pretty? So these came from
Stephanie. These tags. So what we're going to do is we're going to use these two
with this ribbon on this. Isn't this pretty? This is so pretty. It's gonna be fun. I still
feel like it's not that far enough. Maybe I need to lift it up a little. I think that's a little
better. Okay, I also have a little bit of this blue. Okay, I have a green, which is super pretty.
I have some fern, a little bit of fern, and then these have fern and eucalyptus in them.
They also have like the silver dollar eucalyptus. These come from Sims. This is my new favorite.
I love this, and it's gonna be great like to put, you know, in the back. So we have several of those.
I have a little bit of the variegated here. I have two stems. Variegated ficus. I didn't quite
finish that thought. Okay, so variegated ficus and then the bee grass. Bee grass, button fern,
whichever way you call it, and we're gonna put just a little bit of this on top to kind of pull
out some of the white. There's so much yellow that I decided not to add any more yellow to it.
Let's start off with the bow. I gotta get more glue in my pocket. Yes, it is. It's from Stephanie's as well,
and y'all know you have a code to Stephanie's. I feel like she changed it. She changed it, didn't she, Z?
I know she did. I have to look it up and see if we've put it on there, but let me tell you what
the number is. Okay, it's KC-115. So we're going to do the bow first, and then we're going to kind of go...
We may not put the bow on in the beginning, but I want to have it done
so that I'm ready to put it on. This is the double-sided ribbon. Okay, it is much thicker,
but you can still do dovetails on it, and you can use it. I know it seems intimidating,
but here's the trick with these rivets, okay? They are more expensive. I did get this one from
Sims, but I know Stephanie has it as well. This is LX-10065. I want to do about a 20-inch tail.
Yeah, I think that's good. It's thicker, so you don't want to do a whole bunch of loops
because it's going to get hard to manage because it is a lot thicker.
So that's kind of the trick with these. They're thicker, so you kind of have to do less. Okay,
so six inch. It is cool though because you can even have this side showing, but honestly you're
going to see a lot of it even if it's on the underside just because it is so thick that
you'll really be able to see that ring in there. So we're going to do five loops because one of
the loops is going to come up here along with some of the tail. All right, so you can see how
much of this I have left. This is the trick with these really expensive thick ribbons. What you
want to do is you want to use just a little bit, and then you can use it on several projects.
Just use it in the bow, make a big statement, and then you can use other ones in the rest of
the project. We're going to do basically the same thing with this one. So like 20 inch tail,
and go about just a tiny bit smaller. So I kind of want it to just barely touch the end of this.
Then I'll just kind of measure based on the last one.
So y'all like watching it over here? Is it easier to get to? I don't know if I told mom.
Mom? Mom? She'll be upset if she forgets to come on. All right, here we go.
So that's the most complicated thing we're going to do as far as ribbon goes.
So I'm just going to take my zip tie, go underneath, just get it started.
I need to turn that off. That's going to distract me.
Pull it out. There's our indention. So I just want to hold it lightly, slide it around,
and you just want to kind of make sure everything is still in the place you want it to be.
But you can kind of see how I want this.
Pulled it out way too far. Hold on. There we go. I'm trying to be careful with your ribbon because
it has this cute little edging, but that edging will tear off if you're not careful.
Now go ahead and get the zip tie in there. So when we are ready, we can tie it on. There we go.
Y'all ready for Easter? Okay, so I'm going to pull it out. This one is going to go up top
and this one. So this way we have something kind of coming up top from the bottom.
All right, so these are going to go on the bottom. These are going to go on the top.
So this will go up here. Let's get this fluffed out and then we'll start putting some stuff on here.
All right, so we're gonna, you especially need to twist these, right, because they're so thick.
You see how stuck down in there that is? You gotta really pull it out so it won't
hamper that bow from fluffing. These are easy to fluff. These are a little bit more difficult,
but all you have to do is just reach your hand in there and pull out any of those pieces that
are stuck. That fixes it. Okay, and they will be, it will be a guaranteed stuck just because of the
thickness of the ribbon. There we go. Okay, so we got a nice fluffy bow. Let's get that off of there.
Tomorrow when I go on, I'm gonna do one of the rain boots. Have y'all done one of the rain boots?
Okay, so this is a round, but it kind of almost looks like an oval. Let's see, I kind of like
maybe this down here. So let's put our stuff in here. I'm just kind of seeing which side I like
better. All right, so I'm gonna start off with the ficus in the back. Just cut these off real quick.
Y'all have plans for Easter? We have, we now have eight people in the house and then of course we
have more crabmen. Oh yeah, look at the boots. Let me show you the boots. Look how cute they are.
So I couldn't find anybody who had the rain boots, so I just got a pair of kids rain boots and
honestly I like them a lot better because they have this really nice thick sole in the bottom
and so I'm not going to have trouble with it, you know, falling over because it's nice and heavy on
the bottom. Okay, so I want to cut this one here. So you want about that much. These I'm going to
keep like that. This one here. Okay, and I want to divide them up. Okay, that way I can get an equal
amount. This one I'm going to kind of put and pull towards the inside. So this is kind of like a,
I think it's a straw base with the moss on top of it. That's what it feels like.
So just put it in. I'm going to do kind of like the c-shape, but we want some to be kind of on
the inside in the back. Okay, and then we'll start. So these are about the same length,
so I'm going to kind of go here. Make sure you're pulling them up off of the
leaf down here at the bottom and then one kind of in the middle. The middle one I want to put
more towards the actual middle like this. There, you see? When I'm doing these, the trick is
to just build on top of each other. So this one kind of up here. This one kind of down here.
This one in the middle. See, and then our bow is going to go like right here. You see how that
fits really nicely? So we want to kind of keep a little bit of a gap here for our bow. We're just
going to kind of have to keep that in mind. All right, then we're going to take some of this.
Because this is a moss wreath, I really wanted to keep it more natural, so I didn't want to do
any of the colored ficus. All right, and I really wanted the variegated so I could have that
kind of pop of the kind of white. We got one. We may cut that one up.
These are the ones that I really like from Sims. WF622. So you want to spread everything out.
Let's see if I want to add. Now I'm going to put the whole thing in. I'm actually going to put it under
the ficus. See if I can get it in. Spread it out. See how pretty that is? Make sure it's spread out
back here. So I want some under. With these straw ones, you do kind of have to
really manhandle it. If you have any trouble, if it's giving you trouble, get out your little
greenery pens, your little floral pens. They'll go in really easy. Now, do I not have another one?
Okay, that's okay. We'll just split it in half. I thought I had grabbed four, but I must have grabbed
three. But that's okay because it has two pieces. Okay, put this one towards the inside there.
Okay, this one will stick here. So remember, we just kind of twist the wire on,
that off. I got a new one because I still can't find my green. Okay, check the tape on it.
There we go. Okay, so the trick to this is to stretch it out. That's when it gets sticky.
And it will. So just kind of stretch it as you're pulling it.
That works. See how much better the green blends? Okay, let's see how far out.
So I don't need this much stick, but I do cut it at an angle. Put it in there.
Oh yeah, that goes in nice. Okay, all right. Now I want to put a little bit of our
big grass in here. All right, so I want to keep it kind of stretched out. Put some here.
So remember, this is going to have, this is going to have the bow here. So it won't look
exactly like it looks right now. Let's put some on the other side. I did leave it stretched out,
so I didn't push them all up. I just kind of left them stretched out.
I want to put a little bit of this in the back. Okay, here. That's going to help it
look like it's all throughout. Okay, so I'm kind of going all the way to the back.
We're going to add in our bow, and then we will start adding in flowers. I am zip tying it,
and what I'll do is bring the zip tie up under the bow, just so it won't scratch anything.
So I'm just kind of moving the tails towards the back. I do want to see the tails, but
I don't want them on top of the loops. You can kind of see what we have so far.
Now I'm going to start putting a little bit under the bow. I don't want it to be
too long, but I don't want the bow just to be kind of hanging there.
Just looks odd. I don't want it to be too long, so I'll kind of push them up a little.
So can you see how it's kind of underneath there? I don't want to completely cover it,
because I'm probably going to want to put a little bit of color down there. I want to start with
this one and this one, the green. I have this one, and I wasn't sure if I liked it.
No, still don't think I like it. Okay, this one, this one came from Caroline Pottery. It is
6381BL. I like it because it has all this greenery. It's just really pretty,
and it has three pieces. So what we can do is we can put one on each side and one at the bottom.
So I want to put the shortest one, this one, at the bottom. Okay, so this will help kind of add
a little bit of color down here, and I generally go in at an angle and then pull it down. See how
it just adds a little bit of color down there? Spread this out. These almost look like little
textured ferns, so that's one of the reasons why I like it. Put it kind of right in the middle,
and this one over on the other side. It's got these like little kind of green yellow in it.
It's pretty. Are you playing Phasmophobia? No. Are you playing fast? No. That's what I thought.
It looks like it. There we go. All right, now let's put some of this in. Okay,
I love this one. Pretty sure this came from Stephanie. It's FB187009, but look how pretty
that is. It's like a lime green. It's just really pretty, and there's a lot on it.
Okay, spread it out. Put some here. This is going to have to have a stick. Okay,
just remember, if you cannot get it in, get your stick. Of course, you can put, you can use the
pick machine, but I just prefer the sticks. For one, I have a tendency to cut myself with the stem
with the pick machine. I'm going to get these on sticks first, and then we'll put them.
So see, it has that wire on it, so that makes it really nice.
And then, of course, you put the tape on top, and it really holds it together. Okay.
There we go.
See how nice that is? It's like really on there, and I don't have to worry about it coming off,
and it's going to stick in there a lot better. A lot of times, these, when you pull them apart
like this, they're not always stiff enough, and this being the straw, it is a little bit
more difficult to put things in, so using the sticks works really great. It helps a lot.
There we go. Okay, one more, and then we should be good to go. Is that your computer, or is it
raining? Does it sound like it's raining outside? Does it sound like it's raining outside? Yeah,
it definitely sounds like it's raining out there. That's so funny. I'm so bad about checking the
weather. I didn't even know it was supposed to rain. There we go. Okay, so now I have five really
nice pieces. Okay, I know I don't need this much, so I'll cut some off at an angle. Now, now I can
start here. Oh, look how pretty that is. Okay, one over here. So remember, it doesn't have to go in the
same spot. It just needs to go on the other side, so if you want to change where it is, not a problem.
You just want to have an equal amount on each side. It just helps give it balance.
It certainly doesn't have to be in the same spot.
I kind of put some in front and some behind, so it makes it look like it's really kind of
mixed in there. See, I'm cutting about an inch of these off. You can get these sticks in different sizes,
so see this one I put more down and that one more in the middle.
This is not gonna make a big difference. This one right here, that might be too long. Let me put it...
I think I'm gonna break this one up. It's just too much, too long. That's much better. Let's see
if I can. Let's see if I can put this in. Oh, oh wait. I know what to do. We're gonna put this in the bow.
Yeah, that's what we're gonna do. The rest of these are gonna go in that bow. It's great to put things
in the bow because then it makes it look very cohesive. Who wants to come with me? I hope I'm not
missing y'all's questions. I have got to get that camera thing moved because I can't see. I'm in my
computer. Yeah, that's pretty. Much better. I'm just gluing it right in between my little ribbon layers.
All right, now let's put the color in. This one is FN1699, so it has lots. Okay, it's really long,
so I'm gonna start some back here. Here, one, this one, I'm gonna put here. Isn't that pretty?
So there's two there, two there. See, these are pretty stiff, so it's pretty easy to put these in.
You can hear that they're watching Game of Thrones and there's a big battle going on.
You can kind of hear it. Get this in a better piece here. There we go. Okay, I hate these leaves.
So many times they make these leaves too dark. You see that, how dark those leaves are?
Okay, this one is 84203-RO.BL. Okay, pull all these down because we don't need that part.
I'm just cutting them down as far as I can. I can always use the floral sticks if I need them to be
longer. It's better to have them too long than not long enough. Oh, these are so pretty.
These are gonna look so pretty in here, so I'm gonna put some kind of back here. Okay, some here,
and back here. Oh, that's so pretty. I'm coming back in here and there. We'll just go back and
forth until we kind of run out, then we'll see if we need more yellow. I'm gonna put one at the bottom here.
Oh, I'm hitting the, I was hitting a leaf. I was like, why am I not feeling? That's why. I was hitting the leaves.
Oh, isn't that pretty?
Here, two left. Cut these a little bit shorter. Yeah, it is moss. I think it's over, it feels like it's
over straw to me, like it's a straw base. I want these to be right by the bow. That's definitely
what it feels like. Honestly, they hold up pretty well. The straw bases, they really do.
I think I might put a little bit more yellow. I want some here.
So these aren't really wired themselves, so you can't really pull them. You just kind of have to
figure out where you want to put them, because where they go is where they're going to stay,
which the base of it's wired, just not the actual stem where the flowers are. It's just too
thin to adjust it, so you kind of just have to figure out where you want it to go, and then just
place it there. I'm going to put, I'm actually going to put a little bit down towards the bottom, but not
very long, so I'll cut off these. I like to have stuff beneath my bow, so that's why I do that.
You don't have to do that. It's just a me preference. I like a little something down
there, because when I don't have something down there, it looks empty to me. Put a little bit
of yellow around here, and then I'm trying to get that one that's the single piece.
I'm going to look at it and see if we need anything else.
They look pretty good. There we go. All right, let's pull it up and see where we're at.
Ignore the colossal mess behind me. That's Belle's. Belle likes to lay there, because that's my desk.
So she wants to lay where I'm at. So when I'm at my desk, she's there. That's why there's blankets
on the floor, and blankets on the couch, because she lays there, and the boys lay there, and they
like their blankets. I think we have like 30 blankets in this room. It's so funny. All right,
here we go. Oh, how pretty is that? What do you think?
It's so pretty. That turned out pretty, don't you think? Oh, that's why you can't come.
He can get through. Usually. Yeah. Oh, that turned out pretty. I think I want to put
a little bit more yellow right there. A little bit more yellow right there. All right,
that was Mercedes, y'all. She was coming up the stairs. Okay,
kind of a little bit back here, just to kind of get a little bit more color in the back there.
Yeah, so we'll go ahead and use what we have left and put them in the back.
Oh, I know you want to go see Mr. Muffins, but you know he's not ready to see you yet.
They have a kitty, and Bella is about to die to get in there.
She doesn't seem to get upset. She's just very curious. That's funny. All right, just wants to
know. She just wants to hang out with him. Okay, I just wanted to have a little color in the back.
See, and it looks super full because we kind of layered our greenery. That's how you get that
super full look without it being as expensive because the greenery doesn't cost nearly as
much as the florals. So, it's all about just layering it. There we go. Much better. Oh,
that's big, y'all. Just trying to get stuff off my table here. All right, what do we think?
Thank you. It has your name all over it. That's so funny.
All right, y'all, this was fun. I'm not sure what we're going to do next week,
but we'll do something fun, and I'll be back on YouTube tomorrow. I was hoping to get on
there today, but I had to put some shelves and stuff together, so it took a little bit longer
than I thought it would. Well, and it was Mom's Doctor Day, so that that takes up a big chunk
of the day. So, and of course, I have to take her chick away because that's that's her treat.
We're going to get her shots. Oh, she actually, her hemoglobin actually jumped up today, so
that was pretty amazing. All right, this is fun. All right, I hope y'all have a great night,
and I will see you guys probably tomorrow. We're going to be doing those cute boots,
so that'll be fun. All right, y'all have a great one. Bye, y'all.
