It's a beautiful day in Michigan. Believe it or not you guys, it's actually not.
So remember, I don't know what it was, like a year or so ago, we cut down a tree in our backyard.
For those of you that are new, we cut down a tree in our backyard.
I'll put a link to the video in the cards over here.
Anyway, the tree was right here. Actually right in here, was where the tree was.
And when we cut it down, Jamie pulled the trunk out with the Jeep.
But when we cut it down, it actually fell and broke this limb on our cherry tree.
You can see where it split and this whole limb was hanging down.
Well, Jamie took a strap and he wrapped it around the tree and we've left it there for,
I don't know, however long it's been. It's been at least a year, right?
Yeah, so it's been about a year and you can see
the tree pretty much healed itself.
Did pretty good. It's holding itself up on its own now.
And you can see where the strap was wrapped around it a little bit.
You can kind of see where it's a little bit thinner there than here.
And like you can see right here compared to right there.
Where the barks cracked.
Where it split, yep.
But it pretty much healed itself pretty good.
But that chunk of wood had a big split right in the center of it.
And it wanted to flop right over because it was cracked.
I don't know if you remember the video, but...
I said I'm gonna put it in little cards.
Yeah, but it's holding itself up.
It looks like a tree again.
No, I wouldn't climb on it.
I actually think I have to trim a couple of these.
Yeah, because these...
Yeah, I get hit by lawnmowers.
Yeah, I walked into one when I was playing with the girls.
Yeah, they don't need to be that big.
We'll have to trim the tree a little bit, but...
You could probably use it.
Yep, but yeah, look, the tree is alive.
It healed itself.
Now we need to figure out how to heal that split.
So Jamie and I are now sitting down like at the base of this tree
playing with the chicks and hens and I got to show you what Shelby did.
She came and laid down right here.
She's like, oh, you're gonna sit on the ground?
Oh, I'm gonna sit on the ground next to you.
Is that okay?
First lawn mowing of the year!
Well, he's not really mowing the lawn.
He's kind of dethatching it or whatever it's called with that little spiky thing.
Who wants to bet that we'll get snow again?
Look you guys!
It's the camper!
With power?
With power!
Oh, do I even want to push this button?
I gotta clean this out now.
Let's try.
There she goes!
Sounds like it's going out.
I don't think we need to grease it a little bit.
And back to the camper!
What I didn't tell you guys was...
There was two things that got left in the camper.
You can't hear it.
But there was two things that actually ended up getting left in here over the winter.
One was a can of pop which exploded and I cleaned up most of it.
But the floor is all sticky.
And the other was a bottle of vinegar that was in a mitten crate that somehow got left in here.
And that was under there.
Thankfully the vinegar didn't get into the carpet.
But yeah, now I gotta clean this up because there's a possibility we're going camping soon.
Possible.
Not sure, but possible.
So you can see a little bit here that I missed where the pop exploded.
Not too bad, but the rest of the floor is kind of sticky too.
So I gotta go get some hot water and wash the floor.
Making dinner!
And then back out to clean the camper.
Oh, so it's a little bit fuzzy.
But I got all of this vacuumed.
All of this vacuumed.
The bedspread and stuff is inside.
I cleaned everything off up there.
Jamie came out here and helped me dust.
I still gotta clean the sink.
I gotta clean the floor still.
I gotta clean some of this stuff off still.
Bathroom is pretty much done.
I mean, we cleaned it before winter, but we didn't like super clean it.
Like we didn't like go through and vacuum and wash the floor and all that.
We just kind of cleaned it out.
So other than that, it's looking pretty good.
And I think it's going to be ready for another year of camping.
Cross your fingers and hope that we can go this weekend.
It's the first weekend the campground is opening at Muskel Lounge Lake,
which you guys have seen us go camping there before.
And that's where we're hoping to go.
So we'll see.
So apparently, it's that time of year again.
I feel like I have stuff on my face.
I might.
Oh, I got it on the camera.
So it's that time of year again.
Guess what we got?
Pleasures from Deer Queen!
You got same thing you always get.
Chocolate cherry love.
And I got...
Don't forget to have the butterfinger.
Yeah.
What are we listening to?
I have no idea.
And I got the new salted caramel truffle, which is actually pretty good.
So yeah, apparently it's that time of year again.
We just waited in line for half an hour.
Yeah, look at it.
You can see how long the line is.
Yeah, you can see all the people in line over there.
We waited in line for half an hour,
because it was 7.28 when we got out of the car and it's 7.54 now.
So yeah.
I'm gonna eat my blizzard.
Yes.
It's dark and I don't know how much you can see.
We have a light.
There's Jamie's Jeep.
There's Shawn's truck.
And it is stuck.
Surprise!
There, now you can see it.
What are you waiting for?
Check that out.
We're videoing your truck being stuck.
It's not so tall right now.
Yeah.
The axle's setting in mud.
Yeah, it is.
That'll be a nice little jerko.
Are you not the cutest thing ever?
You know daddy wants to sit in his chair and watch a movie,
so you're getting it warm for him.
She had her head tilted all the way to the side and had her tongue sticking out.
Oh, you're done?
We got sleeping puppy over here.
Whoa, it's dark!
What? We're gonna watch a movie and then we're gonna go to bed.
Can you say goodnight to the Pawdience?
Say goodnight Pawdience!
