BABY ROBIN vs Husky Puppy . . . Uh Oh. .

So, there's the robin's nest where the birds were. And there's the bad dogs. Are you bad dogs? Some of you may have saw my post. Yes, I have a cold. Some of you may have saw my post that we had some baby birds up here and the dogs managed to catch two of them as they fell out of the nest. And we weren't really sure what happened. We went to work and Jamie came back home because there was one bird still in the yard. He came home to check on the birds. So, the rest of what you'll see is what he found when he got home. There was four birds. One flew away the day before and then there was three left. So, now you can see what Jamie saw when he came home to check on them. Alright, so my God! I just had this baby bird trying to land on my shoulder. And mom and daddy are mad. There's... Oh! Daddy took off. That was so crazy! I was just standing... I was looking over the fence at where the other bird is. And I'm just standing here... Oh! He's trying to move. See him? He's right by the edge of the wood pile. There he goes. Right in the center. That's the guy that tried to land... There he goes! That's the one that tried to land on my shoulder. So, there's... That's two. That is affirmed two. Can't really see him because he's in the shadow. He can't fly very well. Let's see if I can zoom in here. Oh, that sun is murdering the camera. There we go. There he goes. So, that's the baby bird that just tried to land on my shoulder. I think he's going to do fine. He definitely made it up to my shoulder before I freaked out and jumped away. Oh, there he goes. So, he's doing pretty good. Let's see if we can get another close-up of him. He's right behind the board there. Right there, see? He's going to hide from me because he thinks I'm preying on him. Oh, sorry buddy! That's one of the baby robins right there. Cool. He's a big one. I think he'll be fine. Want to watch him fly? There he goes. Oh, he made it all the way up to the front lawn. Alright, we'll go check on the other one. So, yeah, that was definitely pretty scary. He's still back there behind me. The one that tried landing on my shoulder. I don't know, he thought it was a good place to rest. Now, this guy here, he's waiting for mom. Where is he? Right... I think he's right... There. Yep, there's Lou. So, he's waiting for food from mom. He's kind of in the brambles so he doesn't get to practice flying a whole bunch right now. But mom and dad are here and they're mad at me. So, I found the two and the two seem to be doing fine. One took off from the nest yesterday. I don't know if that's the one of these here. It's so cute, he's trying to fly. He's in the shade so you can't really see him. Nosedive! I think I'm stressing him. So, I'm going to quit following him. But yeah, mom and dad want me to leave. So, I'm not sure if only two of them ended up making it. I'm going to go check the other side of the fence. But I'm pretty sure the two this morning... I think they both made it. So, there's their old nest. We're going to move that so they don't come back now that they're gone. But... Huh? Got two? Kill it! Aww! There's more coming! Ah! Broke the windows! Anyway, this is the road we're on. Kind of goes around the big fancy houses. Lake Michigan is right over there. Way down. We're on like a big cliff. I brought the dogs with us. Just to go for a ride because it was nice out. It's a really cool road.
