A MOUNTAIN BIKERS DREAM PUMP TRACK IT HAS ONE THING THE OTHER DON T

This brand new pump track behind me is exactly what every pump track should be like.
Let's session it.
This is the brand new Bemerton Heath pump track and the sickest thing about it is on the side
here you can see they have jump takeoffs so you can literally become an epic rider at this spot.
You've got the pump track sort of jumps on the left, the tabletops here and there's even lights
so you can session this thing at night.
This is a dream.
Let's just go straight in on this jump line, the bit I was most excited about.
So on the jump side you've got three wooden lips that give you
more than enough air time for bangers.
Then you can cruise in here and then you're into this like technical pump track, super fun.
The lips are well steep so I've got to sort of learn where to go.
Let's do a little lap on here to show you what it's all about.
Here we go, let's try a little lap on here.
Sort of endless choices of where to go.
I'm just sort of making it up on these first laps.
Quite a bit of blinding light at the centre.
Free riding.
Let's try and get the tabes over this thing.
This section's insanely good to warm up on, it's so tight.
I'm actually way too hot now by the way and I shouldn't have worn white,
there's quite a lot of mud on the ground.
But this section's so tight you've actually got to use your brain quite hard to ride it.
I like it.
Slightly trails-y.
Let's just get that transfer from that orange into that one.
It'll look quite cool I think.
Transfer line.
So many good options actually.
This one you're stood on is cool if you go from the side
because the lip's the same as the landing, you've got a proper nose dive into it.
I'll try and boost it and be all like in the bike like that.
Alongside that pump track you've got the smaller one.
That you can even skate on which is sick.
I guess this is more for kids and messing around
but you can switch them all up and link together.
Oh, a little slider there in the wet ground.
That is so fun, there's so many opportunities.
I totally forgot that it's completely wet and we're still riding.
Now it's time to switch to this side and ride the stuff that
literally every pump track in the UK is missing.
Jumps.
I've seen a few around the world that started adding wooden takeoffs in now which is super cool
but to have them actually like trails and slightly on a downslope like this
is the most sick idea ever.
So good one guys.
Let's see if we can get some tricks thrown down.
Here we go into this little jump line.
That is so good of a pump track.
You can just turn up and do tricks.
Nice and short first one and then you can just send it in.
Oh, it's actually unreal.
So many fun lines to be done.
That is what every pump track's missing.
I love that.
I like that we got that on camera so you've got to do a three at some point
and you've got to clear the big line about going over the bars.
I'll inspire you with 360ing every jump in a row.
There you go.
See, as you can see, it's really easy to 360.
It's also really easy to hit the jump line.
No, sorry, I'm bullying you.
Go on then.
He's going to do it as a fly out onto this one here.
I bet he can do it already.
Oh, he's done so many of them before, hasn't he?
Wait, you spin opposite though, don't you?
Ah, there you go.
Yeah, he's goofy.
Not just his appearance.
Go on, Dan, clean.
You've got the power.
Nice.
Go on, push.
Oh, no.
Right, get back up there.
No one can ride until you clear it.
You've literally halted the whole vlog now.
Go on then, Dan.
Power.
Yes, power.
Basically, I think we'll let him have that.
The vlog can continue.
Let's try and flip.
Oh, see, it's quite hard with the speed.
That's the only downside.
That first gap's like a tiny bit small.
I'll flip the first one.
Here we go.
Almost missed the takeoff.
That would have sucked, but we got it.
Let's go.
Flip, three, whip, three.
Here we go.
Yes.
Oh, that's a really fun brain training exercise
for oldies like myself.
That's good to keep yourself feeling young.
Let's get a cool slow-mo three taves in this second one.
I also really like that because once you hit the first,
the gap in between is so short.
One of them flips and I was trying to get the speed.
I was actually that close to the edge of that ramp
because I landed and then looked up and I was already on the ramp.
Anyway, let's get a three taves in there slow.
It's a bit of classical.
Okay, it was fun, but actually the last one's even bigger.
I didn't even think about that.
Let's get another three taves on that one.
It will probably be more.
This is actually next level.
Could you imagine being a kid that lives in the area
and you've got a flood lit dirt jump
and pump track section made by your local council?
That is so good.
Everyone, anyone that's watching that's in the council,
you should make one of these in every town.
It's insane.
I'm sure as they realise that people don't die
hitting jumps like this,
these are going to pop up all over the place.
It's unreal.
Let's get a three tuck on there.
Look at, so stoked.
Like rideable jumps in any condition.
This is the best day of my life.
That felt pretty nice.
Just about the limits of size for really extending a three tuck,
but worked well.
Let's get the hover air out.
You manual control it and we can do transfer, transfer, transfer,
because there's like a few more options available
with these side-by-side jump lines.
Right, ready Louie, some transfer action.
Cool, here we go then.
Just smashed out a few clips with the hover air.
I absolutely love this.
You can just fit it in your pocket.
It's so small and you can manually control it.
It can follow you on its own without flying.
Louie was manually following then,
but there's loads of stuff you can do
and the start clips from the drone are also used with this.
Absolute beast.
Now all I want to do is put on the GoPro
and we're going to do a trick run through the jumps.
Now I'm going to link into the lower pump track there.
It's just sick.
You can make your own run as long as you want.
I absolutely love this spot.
It's so cool.
Look at this jump line.
So sick.
Then you go into here.
Oh, it's so good.
Oh, little slider.
Let's do a mini leg trick montage.
We'll drop a track and get some tricks over there.
I want to use this little lower section as a bit of a skate park.
Let's get a nose press on here using the front brake.
Oh, that'll be well sick.
That worked well.
I've just seen if we go off to the side here,
we could be able to do some sort of hip flip flarey thing
into the side of this landing.
It might be weird because I might land into that roller there,
but let's give it a go, shall we?
Oh my God.
Yeah, it kind of worked how I thought,
but also so scary.
That was cool.
That was like a mini hip flip.
Let's try a little stoppie 180
and go fakey into that section there.
Oh no.
No.
Nice.
Love the front brake.
I actually thought it would get a bit annoying on the jump bike,
but still on there and I'm still loving it.
I'm going to try and come up stoppie and then full cabin.
I'm stoked on that.
That's proper streety.
I think that's like a half cab, I don't know.
Whatever, landed straight out of a nose manual, pumped.
I'm loving this little skate parky section.
Let me just get my favorite of mine, a lawnmower on there.
It'll be on that dark edge and then the top bit will be all lit up,
so you're probably in there.
Let's give it a go.
So that was my first ride in this brand new pump track.
It's called Bemerton Heath, made by On Track.
You guys, epic.
This really is so much fun.
Search that in Google Maps.
You'll find out where it is.
Come and give it a shred.
There's even lights up there.
I mean, that is so cool.
I've said it a few times,
but this is definitely what councils should take a look at
and start building everywhere, especially with the jump option,
because that just completely transforms pump tracks.
I hope you guys enjoyed it.
See you in the next one.
