Boys and girls and welcome back to Graceville where God's love is everywhere. It's me
Pastor Anastasia and I'm so super duper excited that you join me today as we learn more about our
best friend Jesus. Today's special feature comes to us from right here in the United States
where my friends Aidan and Joseph have prepared a beautiful reminder that Jesus is still alive.
Let's listen in.
My Jesus is alive
My Jesus is
alive
Thanks guys that was amazing. Boys and girls remember if you want to share your gifts and
talents for Jesus please ask your parents or guardians to inbox me and I'd be happy to share
it with our friends. Hey there you are right on time. We're going to check in with Ryan at nature
time. You know that we always have something amazing to learn about with him so to find out
more about who or what we're going to be learning about you'll just have to come along with me.
Hello boys and girls and welcome again to nature time at Graceville. Today we're going to be
talking about sea otters. Let's tune in. Sea otters are marine animals which means that they spend a
lot of their time in the water. They have the thickest fur of all land animals and this helps
them to keep warm. They also have thick whiskers that help them find food. Sea otters have loose
skin under each forearm where they keep food or a tool to crack open seafood. They eat invertebrates
like mussels, crabs, snails, and clams. Baby otters are called pups. When they are born their fur is
thicker than their parents. It's so thick in fact that they can float without sinking in the water
but they can float far away from their family. So the mother otters would wrap them in seaweed
and pull them along with their teeth or put them on their bellies. The otters would place their
children in safe spaces while they hunt for food. Sea otters have been seen holding hands with each
other to prevent drifting away while they sleep. Now that's what I call teamwork. Ecclesiastes 4
verse 9 says two people are better than one. They get more done by working together. Bye boys and
girls. Thanks for tuning in. See you next time. Now that was super cool and we're back right on
schedule to check in on Melissa. Well let's find out how her week went. Let's go. Oh no it's too
late. Too late for what? I just realized that I missed the deadline to submit my STEM experiment.
I was so busy helping a friend that I completely forgot. Now I'm too late. That's awful. Thankfully
I know someone who is not bound by deadlines. We can always call on him because whenever he shows
up he's always right on time. That's right I'm talking about Jesus. Wait a minute. That reminds
me of our theme for this week which simply says God is never too late. Let me hear my friend
Zay say it. God is never too late. And our memory verse is found in Isaiah 40 verse 31 and it simply
says they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Let me hear my friend say it.
Hello. Happy Sabbath. And today's scripture reading takes up Isaiah 40 verse 31. It says
they that wait upon the Lord will renew their strength. Bye. Great job everyone.
Yeah but God can't change the deadline. It's already too late. First of all there's nothing
God can't do. Even when the odds seem impossible all hope is gone and it's just too late. God has
a way of showing up right on schedule. That's exactly what the father in today's story discovered
when his daughter died waiting on Jesus. Can you guess what today's story is about?
No. Wait what? A father learned that God is never late when his daughter died.
This must be the story of Jairus. That's right my friends. Today's story is about Jairus.
Jesus was with a crowd when a Jewish leader named Jairus came to see him. Desperately he begged
Jesus to heal his dying 12 year old daughter. On the way one of his servants informed him that
his daughter was already dead. Jesus was too late. Jairus was heartbroken until Jesus told him not to
fear. Only believe. He assured the family that the little girl was only asleep. All their doubts
and fears vanished when Jesus brought the little girl back to life. Joyfully they praised the Lord
because Jesus is never too late. Wowzers that story inspired me to make a call and guess what?
The deadline has been extended. That kind of reminds me of Jairus. It sure does Melissa.
Remember it's never too late for God to work a miracle.
