Hi boys and girls and welcome back to Graceville where God's love is everywhere. It's me
Pastor Anastasia and I'm so super duper excited that you've joined me today as we learn more
about our best friend Jesus. Today's special feature comes to us all the way from Denmark.
Where my friends Lucas and Phillip have prepared a beautiful song just for us. Let's listen in.
Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me. The Bible tells me so. Jesus loves me, He will guide.
Heaven's gates to open wide. He shall wash away my sin. Let His little child come in.
Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me. The Bible tells me so.
Amazing! Boys and girls remember if you want to share your gifts and talents with Jesus
please ask your parents or guardians to inbox me and I'd be happy to share it with our friends.
Guys, there you are. Hey, we're so excited that you're back. Just in time for Butter's favorite part of
Graceville. That's right. What's that? Oh, Butter says she loves it because it's an extra special treat.
She never knows who or what we'll be learning about today. So if you want to find out more about
God's wonderful creation with Butter and me you'll just have to come along with us. Butter, wait up!
Hello boys and girls and welcome again to Nature Time at Graceville. Today we're going to be talking
about razorfish. Let's tune in. It is very easy to spot razorfish because they have thin flat bodies
and pointy mouths. They are called razorfish because they look like the blades of knives.
These interesting fish swim upside down which helps them find food. Their backs are pale yellowish
brown and their bellies are white with a dark colored stripe from their snout to their dorsal
fins. They can grow to about 14 to 15 centimeters long. Razorfish have no teeth and so they swallow
their food whole. They eat many types of zooplankton and small crustaceans like eggs, larvae, and seed
shrimp. Thanks to their flat bodies, razorfish look like a thin rod or stick. This helps them blend
into their surroundings and hide from predators. Swimming upside down also helps them hide among
sea urchin spines and corals. They can also hide by blending in with pointy leaves. When they
are being chased in open water, they quickly swim away with amazing speed like regular fish.
The razorfish reminds me of Hebrews chapter 4 verse 12a. It says, God's word is alive and working.
It is sharper than a sword sharpened on both sides. The word of God teaches us what is right
from wrong. Bye boys and girls. Thanks for tuning in. See you next time. Bye butter. See you next time.
Well, we're right on schedule to check in on Melissa. I wonder how her week's going. Well, let's check
in on her. Let's go. Hey, best friend. Is something bothering you? My cousins are coming to visit for
I love my cousins, but I hate having to share all my toys with them. They always want to play with
my favorite Paw Patrol toys. I hear you, Melissa. But what if we put a smile on God's face by
following in Jesus's example of putting others first? He did it all the way to the cross.
But what if you did it by sacrificing and sharing your toys with your cousins? Wait a minute.
That reminds me of our theme for this week, which simply says, put others first. Let me hear my
friend Zay say it. Put others first. And our memory verse is found in Luke 6 31. And it simply says,
do to others as you would have them do to you. Let me hear my friend Natalia say it. Luke 6 31.
Do to others as you would want them to do to you. Great job, everyone.
A whole week of sharing Skye, Chase, Marshall, and my new Paw Patrol tower. That's too much.
I hear you. But when we think of all that Jesus gave up on the cross for us,
is it really? I don't think so. You know, your toy dilemma reminds me of who our story is about
today. A man who chose to give his nephew Lot the choice of the best of the land first, accepting
the leftovers instead. Can you guess what today's story is about? A man who gave his nephew a first
choice of the land. I am not sure. But is it Abram? That's right, my friends. Today's story is about
Abram. When Abram accepted the call to leave Haran for the land God promised him,
he didn't go alone. He set out with his wife Sarah, nephew Lot, and their servants. Many
years had passed as they waited for God to fulfill his promise. During that time, God blessed Abram
and Lot so much that their livestock multiplied greatly. Eventually, their workers began quarreling
amongst each other over space to feed the animals. Realizing how challenging the situation was,
Abram decided it was time to divide the land. Abram was kind enough to give Lot the opportunity
to choose which part of the land he wanted first. Lot chose the best of the land. Graciously,
Abram gave it to him without complaining. Thanks to the thoughtfulness, kindness,
and generosity of Abram, they were all able to live in peace. Wowzers! Sharing my toys with
my cousins seems so easy when I think about how Abram willingly gave Lot the best land
without complaining. Now you're tracking. So this spring break, choose to be kind and put others
first. Boys and girls, if you want to see more videos from Graceville, please ask your parents
