20 ways that whole life insurance ultimately powers the aligned wealth
framework that we use and teach people.
Hey, what's going on?
Cashflow hackers.
Welcome back to life 180.
And, uh, I've been talking to a lot of people lately about aligned wealth,
about our framework, about cashflow hacking, about whole life insurance as
a foundational asset in our lives to help us live in a more alive, if you
follow this channel, you know, that one of the things I say is people struggle
with money because their money is not in alignment with their values and beliefs.
It's that simple.
I truly believe that everybody has their own unique gifts, skills, abilities,
attributes, and, and you have your own unique investor DNA, and I just don't
believe there are good or bad strategies.
I believe there's either alignment or misalignment with who you are and what
you're trying to accomplish in your life.
And it really comes down to that.
And so cookie cutter strategies just don't work.
And so what I do believe is that whole life insurance is one of the most
powerful assets when you look at things through the lens that I'm
talking about, it starts to make sense.
And so based on some conversations, I've wanted to do this video about
the 20 ways that whole life insurance ultimately powers the aligned wealth
framework that we use and teach people.
I think by the end of this, what you're going to see is the reason we love
whole life insurance so much.
And the reason that, uh, that we believe it's the foundational asset that
everything else should be built upon, right?
Because it's, it's all about helping you actualize your goals in the now, but
it's also about gamifying life and making sure that what you want to happen
will happen when you want it to happen, whether you're here to see it or not,
because we have to think generationally about this stuff.
So without further ado, let's just dive into it.
So number one is guaranteed predictable growth.
Okay.
So here's the thing to think about your cash value in your whole life
policy is going to grow every single year, no market risk, no surprises.
Predictability in this sense, think about it this way creates clarity
and that clarity creates confidence.
And if you have confidence in your financial plan, your ability to execute
and perform psychologically and subconsciously is going to be
elevated to a different level.
Then you have tax-free growth.
Number two is tax-free growth and tax-free access.
Now your cash value grows tax deferred and your policy loans are going to be
accessible on a tax-free basis.
As long as you structure everything properly, you're going to have that.
Just don't make the policy.
If you want to be able to access your money tax-free, right, you're going to
keep more of your money working for you inside of your own system.
Number three, it is the cashflow hacking foundation.
Whole life insurance is the engine of the cashflow hacking strategy that we
teach when it comes to real estate, how we buy cars, make sure capital purchases,
how you manage debt, all these things.
It allows you to redirect dollars that you would otherwise send to banks, to
lenders and to the government.
And it helps you recapture that money and circulate it and create the velocity of
money inside of your own system, recapturing wealth and utilizing it to your
power, basically giving you better returns with less risk and more predictability.
Then number four, what happens is when you do this, you actually kind of
create your own banking system.
It's a, it's an alternative.
You're not really building a bank, but it's like a banking alternative.
So instead of borrowing from the banks, you're paying and paying interest to
others when you do what we just talked about, what happens is you become your
own lender, your financing, your own life, your own businesses, and your own
investments through your policy.
And that leads to number five, which is you have uninterrupted compounding growth.
Now, when you borrow against your policy, even when you leverage against that
money, your full cash value continues compounding as if the money never left
because it didn't, you get to use the money that's in your policy because
you're actually not using the money in your policy, you're leveraging that
and you're collateralizing it and letting the money keep growing in your policy
while the insurance company has a guaranteed loan provision and they give
you access to capital on a guaranteed basis, powerful stuff.
Next is liquidity without market risk.
Your cash value is accessible anytime.
No market timing, no volatility, no waiting for recovery.
Liquid capital creates options and options create opportunity.
Opportunity can ultimately create freedom faster for you.
Then a volatility buffer that protects your wealth in retirement or during
market downturns, your policy acts as a cash reserve.
So you never have to sell off the assets that are losing in that given year.
This is one of the most underutilized retirement strategies that are
available to pretty much everybody.
Number eight, we have debt elimination through strategic cycling by cycling
money through your policy and paying off toxic debt while rebuilding your cash
value, we can also call this refinancing toxic debt into the policy, right?
You break the debt cycle and you redirect that cashflow into your wealth
building by having the money never get interrupted in the policy.

Number nine is guaranteed loan access.
No banks required, no credit checks, no approval process, no bank calls.
You access your capital on your terms, which is the essence of financial sovereignty.
All right.
Number 10, we're halfway there.
Lifetime coverage that never expires.
Now, unlike term insurance, this is permanent protection.
Your family legacy and financial plan are protected for life.
I'm a big believer.
We got to start with the end of mine and reverse a plan to get there.
This isn't just about the minimum requirement.
It's not about the lowest common denominator and the minimum
we can get and pay for.
We are looking for the ability to create as much value as possible.
We're looking to create a specific result and think about what we want to leave
behind and what we want to create and control whole life insurance is the only
insurance product you can do that for or with on a guaranteed basis.
Number 11, living benefits for the unexpected things that happen in life.
Now, many policies are going to include accelerated benefit riders for terminal
chronic or critical illness, protecting your cashflow and your wealth plan when
life takes an unexpected turn can be one of the most powerful things that you can
do, being able to access your death benefit and or accelerate a portion of
your death benefit on a tax-free basis to be able to handle alternative
medical treatments, cancer treatments.
It's been one of the most powerful things in my life.
It's it's helped my family.
We've utilized it to actually help family members deal with cancer and use
alternative treatments to keep them alive longer.
Asset protection is the next one from creditors and lawsuits in many States.
So the thing to know here is that in many States, whole life insurance,
cash value is shielded from creditors and legal judgments.
This is an important layer of protection that a lot of people
don't realize that you have.
It's really powerful for business owners and real estate
investors, high income earners.
If you want an extra layer of protection, don't keep the money in your savings
account, CDs or bonds, keep it in whole life insurance where it's more protected.
13.
It's a tax efficient legacy.
Your death benefit is going to pass income tax free to beneficiaries and can
avoid probate when you structure it correctly, this is going to ensure that
your wealth transfers intact to the next generation.
Next we have generational wealth by design.
Now a properly structured policy becomes a multi-generational wealth vehicle.
It's one of the most important things that we focus on.
I believe this is the crux of what we do and why we do what we do.
Creating family banking systems, things like the Rockefellers
did trust strategies, legacy creation.
When we do this and we do it the right way, it allows us to compound our, our
vision and our money and our legacy over decades and through generation.
Number 15 is that FAFSA invisibility for college planning.
So this is, this is a big one, whole life insurance.
A lot of people don't know this is not reported on FAFSA forms for
most people or on any FAFSA form.
Now there are some private colleges, full disclosure there that some
private colleges will ask for it.
But as far as the FAFSA goes, it gives you a huge strategic advantage as far
as qualifying for financial aid and grants and being able to access other
people's capital or even reduce the cost of college through grant money and credit.
Simply because they don't realize you have the money.
When you put your money into a 529 account, that money is
dollar for dollar credited to you.
So if you save all your money for college in a 529 account, it's not just about
the returns that you get in the policy.
It's about what is the actual price that you're paying for college.
I always tell people the strategy for college shouldn't
just be saving for college.
It should be saving on college and reducing the sticker price.
If you're paying sticker price for college, kind of like anything
else in life, you're probably not doing it the right way.
All right.
Number 16 is a supplemental retirement income.
We should never look at life insurance as an investment, but
utilizing it as a volatility buffer.
Policy loans can supplement your retirement income on a tax-free basis,
reducing the reliance on your 401k, right?
Like that's important.
We want to make sure that when we utilize this for retirement income
supplementation, that we use it as a volatility buffer and those
distributions are going to be lowering the overall tax burden in retirement.
And they're also going to be allowing our other assets to perform better.
People like Dr.
Wade Pfau, Tom Wall, they've done studies on these things.
These guys are PhDs in retirement income planning, and they've shown
the math behind, you can't have an optimal retirement plan without
having life insurance, whole life insurance as part of that plan and
system as a volatility buffer and a retirement income supplementation.
So 17 is leverage for business and investment opportunities.
This is one of my favorite things because we work with a lot of real estate
investors and a lot of entrepreneurs.
When an opportunity arises, we want an opportunity fund, things like real
estate, business deals, investments.
Your policy is going to give you the access to the capital that you
need to act without disrupting the rest of your financial plan.
I'm a big believer.
We need to save money, but we need to save with the intent of investing.
Your ability to build an opportunity fund is going to create your
ability to expand your life period.
When we do it this way, not only are we going to get better results
and have more control, we're going to enjoy life and be using money as a
tool, more in alignment with what we're trying to accomplish in our own
gift skills and abilities in alignment with our investor DNA.
That, that is the key here, right?
And so we're going to be able to use it and help us actualize and implement a
plan that's in alignment with what our goals are and the lifestyle
that we're looking for.
Number 18, it's inflation resistance through dividends.
This is important.
Now participating whole life policies, pay dividends that over time are
going to help your cash value, uh, keep pace with inflation and actually
outpace inflation, which is going to preserve the purchasing power of your
wealth with your safe money.
Now, usually think about it this way.
The reason people don't keep money in safe, liquid, accessible locations
is because there's a trade-off.
People are worried that they're going to go broke slowly because they
lose value to inflation over time.
Whole life insurance will keep pace or beat inflation over the long run,
unlike typical CDs or savings accounts, right?
So when you look at safe, liquid, accessible money that you need, whole
life insurance is the only one that long-term beats inflation.
Number 19 is charitable giving and philanthropic legacy naming charities
as beneficiaries are using policy structure for giving allows you to
leave a meaningful impact that extends beyond your actual DNA family,
your blood family, right?
You can build a legacy that aligns with your values, leave money, impact areas
and communities and organizations that you care about that is legacy on the next level.
And then finally 20.
And this is, this is the foundation of it all.
You have total control, right?
No government, no banks, no restrictions.
Unlike 401ks IRAs or banks, you control your cash value completely.
No early withdrawal penalties, no government restrictions, no asking
permission when you need to access your money, this is what
aligned wealth actually looks like.
So those are the 20 things in 20 reasons.
I should say that whole life insurance is the foundational asset that we
build everything upon.
I don't, I don't see a world when we start thinking about creating aligned
wealth and using money as a tool to create a life that's meaningful to us.
We have to take all things into consideration.
When we do this, we look at the end in mind.
We start with the end of mind.
When you're on your deathbed, what do you want your life to be about?
What do you want your legacy to be about?
What impact do you want to make in your kids?
Your grandkids, your great grandkids, what are you going to be doing?
How do you want to use money as a tool for them?
How do you create generational opportunity, right?
How do you tie in trust wills structures that will allow you to manage your
money even after you're not here.
And ultimately though, that's a big ask for people, right?
We need to also be able to have strategies that will improve our
life in the here and the now as well.
And so I know that whole life insurance is the only asset that will grow with
you, whether you're 20 or whether you're a hundred, it's going to solve different
problems at different stages of your life.
Hopefully this gave you some clarity.
