Boys and girls and welcome back to Graceville where God's love is everywhere. It's me
Pastor Anastasia and I'm so super duper excited that you join me today as we learn more about our
best friend Jesus. Today's special feature comes to us all the way from Puerto Rico
where my friend Nathan has prepared a beautiful song just for us. Let's listen in.
Thanks Nathan that was awesome. Boys and girls remember if you want to share your gifts and
talents for Jesus please ask your parents or guardians to inbox me and I'd be happy to share
it with our friends. Today at Graceville we're celebrating dads. We're so grateful for the
father and fatherlike figures that God has placed in our lives. Here with a special tribute to our
dads is my friend Taraj from the Bahamas. God made him in his image and made him just for me
to show me what it means to love unconditionally. He loves me with his whole heart and he's always
near protecting me from all danger and everything I fear. He is there to dry my tears
whenever I am sad so I don't need a superhero because God gave me my dad.
Hey there you are I was just on my way to nature time with our friend Ryan from Canada.
It's always such a treat. I'm so excited because you never know who or what we'll be learning about
today so if you want to find out come along with me. Hello boys and girls and welcome again to
nature time at Graceville. Today we're going to be talking about rats. Let's tune in. Rats greatly
outnumber us and are difficult to control. They can carry diseases and take over restaurants
and even our houses. But here's some positive information about this busy creature. Firstly,
rats help to mix the soil as they dig through it. This helps the soil become rich in nutrients and
minerals. Secondly, they are a food source to many. This makes them an important part of the
food chain. Thirdly, though they are blind rats are able to use their sensitive whiskers to learn
about their environment. Four, scientists learned that most rats deeply care and lastly rats love
seeds and usually store them for later. However, they end up dropping a lot of them. The seeds
then germinate and begin to grow into plants and trees. Matthew chapter 5 verse 44 to 45a says
love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you that you may be children of your father in
heaven. Maybe there's someone at school that makes you upset and you might see them as a pest or an
enemy but God loves them just like he loves you. So let's ask him to teach us how to love them too.
Bye boys and girls. Thanks for tuning in and see you next time.
And we're back just in time to check in on Nico. I wonder what he's up to today. Let's go. Hey
so I'm doing something extra special for my dad. Sounds like a great idea Nico. He's such a cool dad.
Even when I mess up and make mistakes he never gives up on me. Sometimes I don't even know how
he can love me. Oh we should celebrate fathers like your dad who treasure the gift of fatherhood
by diligently loving and providing for the needs of their family. Wait a minute that reminds me of
our theme for this week which simply says godly fathers love unconditionally. Let me hear you say
it Zayden. Godly fathers love unconditionally. And our memory verse is found in 1st John 3 verse 1
and it simply says see what kind of love the father has given us that we should be called
the children of God. Let me hear my little friends in Canada say it. See what kind of
love the father has given to us that we shall be called children of God. 1st John 3 1. Great job
everyone. That's exactly why I do something extra special for him this year. He does too much even
when I don't deserve it. All godly fathers do. That's why today's story is about a father who
never stopped loving his son even when he misbehaved and wasted all his money. Can you
guess what today's story is about? Do we know this one Nana? I think so. A naughty son who wasted everything.
Oh yeah. That's right Abel and Anna. Today's story is about the prodigal son's father.
Jesus once told a parable about a father who loved his two sons very much. One day the younger son
asked for his share of his father's goods. Heartbroken the father generously divided all
his possessions and gave him a portion. Not long after off the young man went to a far away country
where he wasted all his money partying. He was having a great time but the fun did not last
forever. Eventually his money ran out and he ended up sad and all alone in a pig pen.
Filled with regret and shame he decided to go back home. He wondered if his father would still
be angry or even worse turn him away. That day he discovered that his father loved him
unconditionally. Not only did he give him he also threw him a big party to celebrate his return.
Wow! What an amazing example of what true unconditional love looks like.
I agree. Praise God for dads who reflect our heavenly father's
unconditional love for all his children. Happy Father's Day!
