Boys and girls and welcome back to Graceville where God's love is everywhere. It's me
Pastor Anastasia and I'm so super duper excited that you join me today as we learn more about our
best friend Jesus. Today's special feature comes to us all the way from Guadalupe
where my friend Tobias has prepared a beautiful song in his native French language just for us.
Let's listen in!
That was awesome! Boys and girls remember if you want to share your gifts and talents for Jesus
please ask your parents or guardians to inbox me and I'd be happy to share it with our friends.
Hurry up! You don't want to miss it! I was just about to check in on our friend Ryan from Canada
at Nature Time. I can't wait to find out who or what we'll be learning about today. Let's go!
Hello everyone and welcome again to Nature Time at Graceville. Today we're going to have our final
nature feature on tapping maple trees. Let's tune in! In our last nature feature we learned
that the farmers depend on gravity to collect sap from the maple trees. Bigger farms use pumps
instead of gravity because they can get much more sap from their trees. But how does it go from sap
to a delicious Canadian maple syrup? Sap is made of two percent sugar and 98 percent water.
It takes 40 gallons of sap to make one gallon of maple syrup. I guess that's why it's more
expensive than other types of syrup. After they collect the sap they boil or evaporate it until
only the sugary syrup remains. This Ontario farm has over 400 acres of farmland filled with maple
trees and so they need special equipment to process the very large amounts of sap they collect.
I love maple syrup on my pancakes but I especially love delicious taffy. Psalm 119 verse 103 says
how sweet are your words to my taste sweeter than honey to my mouth.
Boys and girls though many of us enjoy sweet treats the word of God is sweeter than candy
so let's try to read our bible every day. Bye boys and girls thanks for tuning in see you next time.
We're back right in time to check in on Nico. I can't wait to find out what's going on with him.
Let's go. Hey Pastor Anastasia it's all a mess. Oh no. My friend Chase got into lots of trouble
trying to help somebody yesterday. How awful. Well he tried to return a phone that he found at school
but the person had already reported it stolen so when he tried to give it back
the person thought he took it. What a mess. He's not a thief. He certainly did not. Like your friend
Jesus was also falsely accused and even died on the cross for something he did not do but praise
God he arose victoriously. Wait a minute that reminds me of our theme for this week which simply
says Jesus arose victoriously. Let me hear my little friend Trevor in Maryland say it. Jesus
arose victoriously. And our memory verse is found in first Corinthians 15 verse 20 and it simply
says Christ was raised from the dead. Let me hear my little friend say it. Christ has been raised
Great job everyone.
I think I get it because of Jesus's victory over his accusers
Chase can have hope too. No you're tracking Nico. God will never let us down. Jesus died to deliver
us from the penalty of sin and rose again that we may have eternal life through him. That's why
today's story is about someone who was accused and arrested in the garden of Gethsemane. Can you
guess who today's story is about? Falsely accused? Arrested? That's awful. Could it be? Oh I know
this story it's about the arrest of Jesus. That's right Melissa today's story is about the arrest of
Jesus. The Jewish leaders hated Jesus because large crowds followed him believing that he was the
So they came up with a plan to stop Jesus once and for all by convincing Judas one of his disciples
to betray him for 30 pieces of silver. Armed with soldiers Judas pointed out Jesus with a kiss of
betrayal in the garden of Gethsemane. The soldiers arrested Jesus and threw him in prison.
After an unfair trial he was hung on the cross. Everything seemed to be going their way until
early Sunday morning Jesus defeated death when he arose from the grave victoriously.
Wow it's almost unimaginable that someone would go through all that just to save us. I agree
what he experienced for us was awful but necessary for our salvation. Praise God he arose victoriously.
