In this week's video with Pastor Anastacia, Niko experiences what it's like when mercy is given to someone. Ryan is teaming up with a special friend for Nature time who is sharing something important that we all have in common! This week's story is taken from 2 Kings 6: 8-22.

Welcome back to Graceville where God's love is everywhere. It's me Pastor Anastasia and I'm so
super duper excited that you've joined me today as we learn more about our best friend Jesus.
Today's special feature comes to us from right here in the United States where my friends
Kaitlyn and Joshua have prepared a beautiful instrumental to remind us of God's love.
Let's listen in.
That was awesome. Guys if you want to share the cool things that you're doing at home
please ask your parents or guardians to inbox me and I'd be happy to share it with our friends.
There you are right on schedule. Let's check in at nature time to see what our friend Ryan
from Canada is up to. I heard he's teaming up with someone else today. Let's find out who
or what we're learning about. Hello boys and girls and welcome again to nature time at Graceville.
Today our friend Taraj is going to show us something very very special. Let's tune in.
Oh hi boys and girls. My name is Taraj and I have something to share with you in nature time. So
come on in for nature time. Every single cell in my body is happy. Every single cell in my body is
well. Every single cell in my body is happy. Every single cell in my body is well. Boys and girls
guess what I just found out. This egg is a single cell. When it is in the right conditions
it will turn into a chicken. That's the way God designed it. The Bible says God created
our bodies to be his special dwelling place. When we take care of our bodies every single cell in
our bodies will be good and we can become what God intended us to be. So remember we are all
fearfully and wonderfully made. Happy Sabbath boys and girls. Bye. Wow Taraj that was amazing
and you're right our bodies are the temples of the Holy Spirit. So let's take care of them.
Bye boys and girls. Thanks for tuning in. See you next time.
You're back. Now it's time to check in on Nico. Let's go. Pastor Anastasia God is good. All the time.
So what are you so excited about? Well I'm ashamed to admit it but yesterday I was being
really mean to my sister. When my parents found out I was so sure I was going to be punished.
But thank the Lord my sister begged them to go easy on me. So they decided to just give me a warning.
Wow now that's what I call being merciful. I know right. All of us may have done things that we're
not very proud of. Our bad behavior may have consequences. However sometimes when we are wrong
God gives us a second third and even a fourth chance. That's called mercy.
Wait a minute that reminds me of our theme for this week which simply says God is merciful.
Let me hear my little friend say it. God is merciful. And our memory verse is found in Daniel
9 verse 9 and it simply says the Lord our God is merciful. Let me hear my little friend Andrew say
The Lord our God is merciful. Daniel 9 9. Great job everyone.
Wow God sure has a really big heart. I can't imagine what it would be like to do what he does.
It's great to know that God gives everyone a daily supply of mercy regardless of who we are
or what we've done. That's why today's story is about a prophet who saved the lives of
enemy soldiers. Can you guess who today's story is about? Let me see. Now this is a tough one
but I know who it is. It's the prophet Elijah. That's right my little friends today's story is
about Elijah. The wicked king of Aram was furious. None of his attempts to destroy the
Israelite army were working. It was as if they knew all of his plans before he made them. Suddenly
he realized God had revealed all his plans to the prophet Elijah. So he sent his army to capture him
but Elijah trusted in God and was not afraid as he prayed to God to blind their army. His prayer
was answered. Elijah led the blind soldiers all the way to Samaria. When they arrived in the city
Elijah prayed for their sight to return. The army was so confused. How did they get in front of the
king of Israel? The Israelite king was ready to punish them but Elijah stopped him by encouraging
him not to kill them. Instead he commanded that Aram's army be given food and water to drink.
After they were done he sent them away. The king of Aram was so grateful that he did not attack
Israel again. Whoa that was so incredible. Elijah showed mercy to his enemies. That reminds me of my little
sister. You're right Nico. Just like Elijah and your sister we can all show God's love by forgiving
others and being merciful. That way others can see Christ in us because God's mercy is endless.
