Our prayers are important to God!

Back to Graceville where God's love is everywhere. It's me past Anastasia and I'm so excited that you've joined me today as we learn more about our best friend Jesus. Today's special feature comes to us from the beautiful island of Bermuda where my friend Soraya has prepared a beautiful song just for us. Let's listen in. That was so awesome! Hi boys and girls and welcome again to nature time at Graceville. Today we're going to be talking about cows and I want to thank my uncle Ansty for sending us these great photos. Cows are called heifers before they give birth to their calves. Once they give birth then we call them cows and yes they are all females. The males are called bulls or steers. Bulls are able to have offspring but steers cannot. Perhaps the most interesting thing about cows is how they digest food. Cows have four stomachs. The main one is called the rumen and it can hold up to 50 gallons of food. This food is partially digested and then is called the cud. The cud is returned to the mouth before chewing so that the rumen bacteria can break it down. This is why we say they chew their cud. Cows spend eight hours eating up to 40 pounds of food a day. What other facts can you find about cows? I bet you'd be amazed at the wonder of this creation. In Ecclesiastes chapter 8 verse 17 it says then I saw all the work of God that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun for though a man labors to discover it yet he will not find it moreover though a wise man attempts to know it all he will not be able to find it yes we have an eternity to find out all the works of God and it will be amazing bye boys and girls see you next time hey guys I heard Nico's really struggling with something I wonder if we can help him out let's go I always hear people saying that you can pray to God about anything but with all the problems happening in the world I think my little struggles aren't that important oh Nico God always wants to hear from us no matter how tiny or gigantic our problems may seem they are equally important to God because he loves us all the same wait a minute that reminds me of our theme for this week which simply says our prayers are important to God let me hear my little friend say it our prayers are very important to God and our memory verse is found in first Peter 5 verse 7 and it simply says give all your worries to him because he cares for you let me hear my friend Anya say it give all your worries great job everyone so you're telling me it's not silly if I pray to God about me not getting beans of course not that's why today's story is about a poor blind beggar whose cry Jesus answered even though everyone else thought he was not important can you guess what today's story is about do you know this avatar I'm not sure is it you got it yes it's the blind man that's right just once and aviatar today's story is about the poor blind beggar Jesus was on his way to Jericho when a big crowd began to gather the town was all abuzz with the news that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by after hearing all the chatter the blind man sitting on the side of the road asked what's going on when he learned that the great miracle worker Jesus was near he immediately cried out to him for help saying Jesus son of David have mercy on me instead of helping everyone tried to quiet him down they thought Jesus would not be interested in his request so the man cried out even louder but when Jesus heard the blind man he asked what do you want me to do for you immediately Jesus answered his prayer and the blind man received his sight whoa it's so nice to know that Jesus wants to hear all our prayers and help us that's right Nico our concerns are God's concerns he loves it when we give our worries to him so no matter what your problems may be cast your cares on Jesus today boys and girls if you want to see more videos from Graceville please ask your parents to like or subscribe to our youtube channel hit like at the bottom of the page subscribe subscribe bye
